Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Opening for acts such as 2 Live Crew, Killah Priest (Wu-tang fam), Heltah Skeltah (Boot Camp), and Wordsworth (among others), Divine has gained respect from every artist they opened for. The main producer for Divine P. is "Chadrach," who is also the creator of the group. Divine's roster has changed over the years, with the exception of Chadrach. "The original emcees in the group were Big Rod, Chadrach, Yes, Lil' Jus, and Freddy Manson. The emcees now are Chadrach, BeenOfficial, CP, Cosmos, and Ran. Yes is now the DJ. Emcees have come and gone, but everybody is still in the "group." Divine is like a family. It's more than music. We've got people in Divine that don't even make music: ESPY, Trail, Big Chris, B Wilson, and mad otha cats make up Divine. We make music for the people, not for commercial reasons. If we make music, it's for the love of hip hop. We aren't selling anything but ideas."

Javad has toured for over 20 years, performing as a solo artist as well as accompanying world-renowned musicians in distinguished venues domestically as well as abroad. | Search | Add | 3 | Thula Sizwe : The Group Zulu | The South African group Thula Sizwe is the 10-man Zulu singing and dancing troop. The group comes from Soshanguve Township in Gauteng Province near Pretoria, South Africa. Thula Sizwe’s leader, Jabulani Abel Dlamini, comes from a family of musicians, speaks 9 of his country’s 11 official languages. Thula Sizwe sing in the rhythmic, harmonious Isicathamiya style. The group’s call and response acappella style, from the deepest bass to the highest of tenors. Is accompanied by two African drums and the singers’ stomping feet and clapping hands. The style evolved from tribal performance during the last century when men left their rural homelands to find work in mines and cities and sang to entertain each other. The name means “walk softly.” They sing to praise God, celebrate life, tell stories and scare demons. The name “Thula Sizwe” means “Hush and Listen.” They started singing in the 1980s while still in high school at a time when South Africa was still under apartheid. The group, all of whose members are black, needed special permission to sing together. “Music is our job. It is our daily bread,” said Alfred Letsoalo, one of the group’s two drummers, when asked if members worked at other jobs at home in South Africa, where unemployment is high. The members are: Abel Dlamini, Jackson Mawela, Paul Ramafalo, Nicholas Lenkwati, Alfred Letsoalo, Jonathan Mabuya, Johannes Magana, Moshesh Makwetsa, Shadrack Mgiba, Judas Mabuya.

| Search | Add | 3 | Yakima Jera | Coldwave/minimal artist Dark Wave flows to End Wave Yakima Jera is a duo from Regensburg and Munich that produces synth rhythms and dance beats with vocals and guitar. Founded in 2022, the music can be attributed to a mixture of synth-pop, dark-wave, and electronic music with a touch of 80ies sound. Fascinated by the beauty of nature, the aesthetics of city darkness, the Bavarian Forest at night and the great emotions of people interactions, a cinematic music construct is built. A mélange of the joy of Joy Division, the poems of Patti Smith, the bleakness of Black Metal and the guitar sounds of 80s and 90s pop/punk influences the danceable dynamic sound of desire and reality. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Blackledge Falling | Blackledge Falling was formed out of necessity. A reaction to expensive recording studios and the constraints of being in a Rock n Roll band. An element of control was the main purpose for this new project by Allie Baird, that and to find the ability to record and capture new and future material at any given time. Despite Allie Baird being the consistent factor in Blackledge Falling there have been vital contributions from a myriad of highly skilled musicians and friends. This has enabled less of the compromise one associates with the traditional band formula but has allowed space for sonic exploration. James Alfred Wilkie, Lindsay Hall and A La Fu have all been an important part of this vision. | |

Moving with ease among all these periods, Musicus Bortnianskii unveils the untapped wealth of music of Ukraine for the last five hundred years. Works by Dmytro Bortniansky (1751 -1825) and his contemporaries, Maksym Berezowsky (1745 -1777) and Artem Vedel (1767-1808) form the core of the choirs' programme. The works of Western composers like Sarti and Galuppi who worked in Eastern Europe are also part of Musicus Bortnianskii repertoire. Musicus Bortnianskii has been and is actively involved in music search and research, of previously lost or forgotten compositions of Ukraine, and to date has perhaps the most complete collection of early Ukrainian music (Partesni Konzerty, works by Bortniansky, Vedel, Maksym Berezowsky and others). Musicus Bortnianskii has performed in Toronto and its vicinity, and in the USA for the Millennium of Christianity in Ukraine. It has broadcast on CBC National Radio and Television, and most recently on BBC Radio 3. Musicus Bortnianskii has eleven recordings to its credit.

| Search | Add | 3 | Quarter Mile Combo | The first full-length cd of Californian rock’n’roll band ¼ Mile Combo was released last year. The guys started the band in 2004, but the lineup (as it is now) became complete two years later, when Nettie Hammar, the lead singer, joined the band. So three years of proper work and here they are: 12 self-penned tracks, played, arranged and recorded in very good quality. Responsible for writing songs are drummer Gary Daly and bass player Todd Jenkins. The lyrics maybe a little bit too serious for “silly” rockabilly. Musically everything is in a good balance. Not too loud, not too noisy, though nothing extraordinary either. Good backing vocals, brilliant addition to strong main female vocal. I wish that Quarter Mile Combo had at least one duet song! The style… Well, American, I guess. Blend of rock’n’roll (most of it), country (slightly) and solid rockin’ sound (psychobilly influence?). In one word - that's what lots of Americans calls “rockabilly” nowadays. “Motels, Gas and Beer”. I like when bands not just pick up the name of the song, but make their own “interpritation” of their creation… it gives extra excitement to find out “why exactly this name?”. In this case I think the band united in it not only list of the songs, but also added their name to it. Travelling, energy, drinking – in other words, rock’n’roll on the road. And, in fact, it does really sound like that! In addition (or better say, conclusion) I want to say that while I was listening to this cd, I had all the time funny feeling. Sometimes I thought “oh, it sounds good, but so boring”. And sometimes, it came like that “wow! Amazing job, I wish we could have more cd’s like that!”. So it would be very interesting to hear your opinion too! Submitted by: kitti. Publication date - 13 January 2010 Copyrights: Rockabilly Bash | |
