Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | ABADDON. | Mylo Messiket | "ABADDON." to clarify, this is a different artist, unrelated to the earlier metal band "Abaddon" This ABADDON. introduced itself to the public, January 1st, 2014A.D. in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a dark tribal track, "Mother(War Call)" This became officially released on "Messiket Liturgy Vol. 1" on November 20th, 2014, along with Vol. 2. Midway 2014, the genre ABADDON. refers to as "Ritualistik Textures" evolved into a small unique record label, also based in Minneapolis, in which the Messiket Liturgy series has been released on.(RT001-RT002) This uneasy energy ABADDON. portrays, has become more defined and rooted over the course of the albums. Since the series consists of a wide variety of genres & bpm, most loosely fall under heavy-bass experimental. Majority of the tracks are instrumental, but seems to use vintage vocals from 1950's & 60's television anthropology series such as, Rod Serling's Night Gallery, The Twilight Zone, One Step Beyond, ect. Since 2015 ABADDON. has been previewing "MLV3; Aspects of Death(AoD)" --the longest of the three albums-- which is said to be released 6/16/2015A.D. If it follows the other two volumes it will be released on Ritualistik Textures as (RT003), but until further notice this is unconfirmed. Messiket Liturgy Vol. 1 was pressed to a single dubplate with full artwork in South London. This later became the album art for Vol. 2. While MLV1 & MLV3;AoD have each their own cover/sleeve art. Along with each track on MLV3;AoD, features individual clip art. A Deluxe Edition of The Messiket Liturgy Collecktion, Including three to four unreleased tracks has also been mentioned, but also currently unconfirmed. | Search | Add | 3 | Delizie Italiane | Delizie Italiane | The trio Delizie Italiane (Italian Delicacy) was formed in September 2000, fuelled by its members’ great interest in wine, cooking and southern culture. It took a little while for the trio to find their own sound, since they had no real template to refer to, but now they feel that they have mastered the true Delizie sound – where simplicity reigns supreme. When Delizie Italiane performs, they focus on creating a comfortable and easy going Italian mood, and it almost goes without saying that this particular kind of music flows especially well with food and drink. The trio has made three CD´s, “Passione“, “Delizie Italiane” and “La vita con te“. Leone Tinganelli : vocal and guitar Jón Elvar Hafsteinsson : guitar and vocal Jón Rafnsson : double bass and vocal |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Boom Bap Kids | Born from the storm. The stay-at-home storm, that is. This super fun, interactive, original concept collaboration is what happened when a squad of diverse creatives, on lock down was sparked by the shimmery, thread of an idea hatched by Aaron ‘Woes’ Martin, to make themselves puppets that vibe out to Golden Era Hip Hop and blend the cultural elements of fashion, music, dance, and art. The result was a show… no! a party, with live djs and a live audience that captures the infectious throwback fun of the 90’s. By the powers vested in them via quicksilver brainstorms and utilizing the speed of the fastest sewing machine needles possible, this small, passionate and dedicated squad of artists organically unified into place, creating a brand new entity on the pandemic-go-to public access web-tv platform, Twitch, immediately becoming Hip Hop luminary puppets who simultaneously party, breakdance and celebrate rap culture with their Gen X, Y, Z & Millenial crowd who are excited to share the 5 Elements of Hip Hop with their kids too, and revel in the music and puppetry of their childhood/youth. “Exactly what needs to happen. The epitome of what we all grew up on, manifested for the next generation.” – Z Trip Enthusiasm, passion and energy are poured into every stitch of every puppet, show, visual and every fresh-fitted, fully-themed endeavor. The Boom Bap Kids are now an entire cadre of textured friends who are simultaneously performers, hypemen AND partygoers. Alongside an ever-crowding list of celebrated and renowned live djs, the weekly mixshows are the perfect balance of authentic throwback & feel good fun. “The coolest thing I’ve seen on stream is Boom Bap Kids. I f*ck with their shit. That’s the most unique thing I’ve seen on Twitch” – Lil’ Jon It’s something you truly need to see, right down to their fully Star Wars themed commercial for their Halloween special. Fraggle Rock meets Run DMC with outfits that are tougher than leather. The dedication around authenticity of the show and the craftsmanship in all the details translate perfectly and have quickly attracted tens of thousands of dedicated followers on the web. While they have an entire full-blown production studio in So Cal, they’ve already begun plans to branch out in a myriad of ways, booking the puppets airplane tickets and taking the show on the road. Calendar dates are filling up hosting festivals, scheduling international collaborations, drafting a sketch show, producing an EP featuring the show’s theme song, answering countless private & public events inquiries, fielding sponsorship requests and juggling dms from heavyweight djs hype to do guest spots. Where The Boom Bap Kids pop up next to rock it.. you’ll never expect! | |

| Search | Add | 3 | DJ Robson Vidal | Brazilian DJ and Music Producer. At the age of 13, he started partying at friends' playgrounds until he was invited by Paulo Lima (owner of the turbo disco club team) to fill a vacancy for a speaker loader and illuminator. Seeing in me the awakening and the enchantment that I had for the figure of the Dj on the dance floors and for the interest that I had shown, he was the first to give me an opportunity as a Dj in a team so famous and respected until today, TURBO DISCO CLUB (Atlas and Mackenzie clubs in Méier). Shortly thereafter, it also gave me the opportunity to start working on radio with the invitation to run an evening radio program on TROPICAL FM 104.5 called "Saturday Party". From then on the doors were opened and he was invited to work at Manhattan Disco (one of the most prestigious dance clubs in RJin season ). Always wearing a cap on his head, DJ Robson Vidal is appointed as one of the biggest names of the night in Rio and became famous after being the first DJ of a dance music program in the afternoon, with Adrenalinaon radio Transamérica-RJ (audience leader at the time). He also worked on Tropical FM, Manchete FM, and Jovem Pan FM RJ radio stations. He stood out as a music producer and composer of successful themes such as the famous opening of Planeta Xuxa called GIRO DO PLANETA (the only opening of the program that became successful on all dance floors in Brazil), with the partnership of Daniel Figueiredo and Abdullah in composition. He produced several successful remixes, especially Milk, Toast and Honey - Roxette, the only Brazilian remix approved by the band itself. In addition, in his studio, he produces several musical styles.Vidal took part as a DJ for 4 years in one of Rede Globo's most watched programs (Planeta XUXA), alongside Queen Xuxa.He is responsible for the creation of the unique musical style called “TEKNOBEAT”, a rhythm that exploded in Brazil and abroad through Teknobeat Radio Hit (internet radio specialized in the style he created). His sets are full of hits, news and exclusive versions whether at Electro House or Teknobeat, performing at various parties, shows and nightclubs inside and outside the country. | |

Stamps Quartet) of Dallas. In 1940, V.O. Stamps, president of Stamps-Baxter, sent Foshee to manage and sing bass in the Stamps-Baxter Melody Boys (aka Stamps Melody Boys) in Arkansas. Well known pianist , songwriter, and arranger Joe Roper was also in the group. Foshee left the Melody Boys to serve in the US Army during WW2 where he rose to the rank of Sergeant. After the war, he became the manager and bass singer of a group called Herschel Foshee and his Stamps-Baxter Quartet. Joe Roper joined him in the new group. They began in Mississippi in 1946, but they soon moved to Illinois before moving back to Arkansas in 1948. There Foshee organized an additional group called the Herschel Foshee Junior Quartet. On November 16, 1949, Herschel Foshee died from heart disease at the age of 38. The remaining Herschel Foshee Stamps-Baxter Quartet members continued on with Smilin’ Joe Roper in charge and soon reclaimed the pre-war name, the Melody Boys. Gerald Williams, who had been the bass for the Foshee Junior Quartet became the bass singer for the Melody Boys and would go on to much success as the manager of the Melody Boys, continuing Foshee’s legacy for many years. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Vodku | World-music group from Hungary originally founded in 1992 as Vodku V Glotku, but soon shortened their name to Vodku. The goal of the band is to introduce the folk music of the nations throughout Central and Eastern Europe, mixed with its own musical concepts. The dominant elements in the music of the band are Hungarian, Jewish, Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, as well as other folk motives from Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkanes. This is mixed with the elements of rock, jazz and other progressive musical styles. As a result, a musical world is created on the stage, which would sound like home to many nations inhabiting the Central and Eastern European region. The band is on hiatus since 2017. Members thru the years: Bede Sarolta, Szabó Árpád, Takács Szabolcs, Bakos Csaba, Bata István, Vázsonyi János, Nemes János, Nedeczky Júlia, Szeredás Lőrinc, Ruthner Gábor, Kiss Attila | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Cancelore | Cancelore was born in 1981 near by Chemnitz, Germany. Already at young age, he started listening to his fathers music collection, which was embossed by Jazz and Bossa Nova or got influenced by his mothers love for Harry Belafonte. This laid the foundation for his deep sense of music, which you can hear down to the present day. But also Techno, Funk & all that Soul, Hip-Hop and Punk'n'Roll played a big role within his musical development. The year "Homework" was a turning point in his life where he mainly focused on techno and house music and started off producing. DJ-ing followed shortly after that and contributed to improve his skills and knowledge of quality music. Nowadays you can still find this slight breeze of jazz but also the roots of house music in his music style. | |

Today 8 compilations, 20 ep, 100 artists from Europe and 150 digital tracks is out !! His musical vision in fusing a multitude of highly energetic musical styles. His unique style is something much more than the traditional "house" or "techno" music. He love experimenting by mixing up different music styles, which result in an unexpectedly good combination. It's a high deep energy inside. In the early 90s, the first « pirate » FM radios appear in the French West Indies. “102 Graffiti” (Guadeloupe), is where (dj Czam) started as a dj/selector and programmer. Working at the radio station, he often spent more than 10 hours of non-stop broadcasting. Also, thiswas where MASSIVE ATTACK’s single was first played and without even knowing it, he took part in their promotion. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Autonome Republik 2b | 2B, the former branch of the Den Briel and Vester textile factory, was squatted in 1984 by a group of artists united in the Zesde Kolonne Foundation, founded in the same year. Until May 2002, this place in the center of Eindhoven was a hotbed of independent art and culture. Independent of the culture of power and money, but with its own face, which harked back to the age-old syndicalist-anarchist ideas. This may seem anachronistic in these times of liberal capitalism and opportunism, but in the broader perspective of humanitarian development we believe that socialism, adapted to the then prevailing spirit of the times, will be a decisive factor in the positive development of humanity. In the meantime, during this interwar period of confusion and fundamentalist chaos, let this website make its modest contribution to keeping this idea alive. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Catastrophe Theory | Catastrophe Theory was formed in the early 1980's by high school friends Jowi Taylor, Gordon Nicholson and Bob Esplin as an experimental basement group using tape loops, crude electronics, found objects, handmade and conventional instruments. Jowi and Gordon reformed the group in 1984 and began recording the first cassette, Debris (1985) which went to #31 on the CKLN Top 100 of 1985. Through the nascent fanzine and international community-radio network, Debris went on to critical success at independent radio stations and magazines in cities from Chicago to Stockholm. The second release, Day Rides a Tiger (1986) introduced samplers into the studio palette and resulted in even greater success locally, nationally and internationally. The cassette finished at #1 on the cassette chart at CKLN in 1987 and reached # 8 in the overall Top 100. In 1989, music from Day Rides a Tiger and additional new music was used in the documentary film The Iconoclast: The Images of Richard Slye by Michael Connelly and Malcolm Harris. The documentary aired in Canada on TVO, TFO, VisionTV, Knowledge Network and other cable services as well as PBS affiliates in the United States. In 1993, Catastrophe Theory was commissioned by Harbourfront Centre in Toronto to compose original music for the Canada Day celebrations. The project was a collaboration with the pyrotechnic firm Perfomance Pyrotechnics Associates of Toronto and St. Louis. The resulting piece, Fire:Work debuted before an estimated audience of 10,000 to rave reviews on July 1st, 1993. Jowi and Gordon's reputation for sporadic collaborative creative outbursts has meant a bare trickle since 1993. The latest single, ThunderPrint was in development for approximately three years before being released on an Impact Magazine sampler in 1995. (taken from http://www3.sympatico.ca/e-jowi/cas.html) | |
