Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | La Rana Toro | Spanish punk rock band, La Rana Toro began its musical career in 1997. Influenced in its beginnings by the punk rock and melodic hardcore bands of the western coast, they have evolved in successive recordings towards a more elaborate sound, full of textures and nuances with multiple influences, difficult to be established in a concrete style or scene. This has led them to share stage with bands of various styles and provenances such as Bad Religion, Dog Eat Dog and Vetusta Morla to name a few. Since their foundation they have published four works and are currently presenting "Minúsculo Infinito" (2015) their last studio work. Recorded between El Sotano studios and the studio of Gonzalo, guitar and main composer of the band. "Minúsculo Infinito" houses generally slower and ethereal compositions bathed in reverb and delay, giving much importance to the dynamics of each theme without leaving aside in some moments the rockiness that has characterized them in the past. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Libercanto | In 1988, a group of amateur singers led by conductor Ana Yara Campos created the Libercanto Choir. From its inception, its repertoire has encompassed music from various styles and eras, with a strong emphasis on Brazilian music. Formed by people from the Paraíba Valley community in the state of São Paulo (particularly Jacareí and São José dos Campos, with the latter city accounting for the majority of its members), it currently has approximately 30 choristers. Hundreds of singers have joined Libercanto over its 37-year history. Composed mostly of amateur members, with the exception of the musical directors (conductor and assistant), the group holds weekly meetings to define repertoire and costumes, vocal technique, and primarily for musical rehearsals. Libercanto performs throughout the year, culminating in themed shows at the end of each year. The group has performed in theaters, schools, churches, parks, businesses, and squares throughout various cities in São Paulo, including tours in the states of Minas Gerais and Paraná. They have recorded three albums. In 1996, they recorded their first—titled after the group's name—and in 2007, they released their second album, [r=30711692], featuring compositions by Chico Buarque, Edu Lobo, Geraldo Azevedo, and Milton Nascimento, among others. In 2019, they recorded their third album, "Sobre o tempo," featuring works by composers from the Paraíba Valley region of São Paulo. Sandra Mendes Sampaio has been the group's musical director since 1998, and has shared the leadership with Rafael Braga since 2015. Libercanto's repertoire selection considers how the musical will communicate with the audience, and their shows often feature scripted performances, using pre-established themes. This is a group that experiments with choral arrangements and compositions, as most of the songs are presented through arrangements and/or compositions written by the professionals conducting the work. The choir often uses texts, body language, and stage props to aid in the understanding of the theme being discussed, facilitating the communication of that idea. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Ruth Rodeheaver | American soprano, born January 13, 1898 in Jellicoe, Tennessee; died February 7, 1979 in Winona Lake, Indiana. Ruth Rodeheaver was a younger sister of singer and gospel music publisher Homer Rodeheaver. Growing up in Jellicoe, she was best friends with another aspiring soprano, Grace Moore, and both were enamored of soprano Amelita Galli-Curci, who often sang as a featured performer in religious revival meetings. Ruth made her first recordings in the form of test records made at Victor in June 1920, but all were rejected, and her recording debut was on the first release of her broher Homer Rodeheaver's Rainbow Records label singing "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," though she was not credited. She continued to record for Rainbow and Gennett through 1925 while attending to voice lessons in New York City; Grace Moore was her roomate there. In 1926, Ruth returned to Winona Lake and married Jim Thomas, the manager of the Rodeheaver Company's manufacturing plant. For some time in the 1930s, she was estranged from her husband, moving to Florida where she taught music to elementary school children and hosted a radio show. However, the couple eventually reconciled. After Grace Moore's death in an airplane crash in 1947, Ruth Rodeheaver resumed recording under her married name of Ruth Rodeheaver Thomas with her brother's revitalized Rainbow label. Her last commerical recordings were made for International Sacred in 1955, though still later ones exist on tape at the Winona History Center in Winona Lake, Indiana. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Nicholas J. Michalak | I, Nicholas J. Michalak, created RavensFilm Productions in Spring, 2004 as a serious statement that filmmaking would be my life's passion. What began as a focus on comedic shorts eventually veered toward more dramatic and noir style narratives born from my evolving fandom of the work of Chicago born filmmaker Michael Mann. Thief was the first, but it was Collateral that solidified my deadset interest in the crime genre. Hitmen, criminals, syndicates, lawmen, private detectives, and vigilantes have all become common subject matter since then. Other influences upon my work include John Carpenter, Ridley Scott, Christopher Nolan, Robert Rodriguez, Quentin Tarantino, Clive Barker, Russell Mulcahy, and Kevin Smith, just to name a few. These influences have driven my creativity far, but the desire is always there to branch out into other genres. RavensFilm Productions is aided by an array of highly talented actors and filmmakers across Chicagoland. My closest and most trusted collaborator is Cinematographer, Videographer, and SteadiCam Operator Eric Woltman of Voltage Visual Studios and Steadi Zephyr. His expertise, technical knowledge, and artistic eye have benefitted my endeavors greatly, and the favor has been returned many times. Beyond a great collaborator, he is a valued friend, and that is the relationship I like to spark with everyone I work with. RavensFilm Productions also has a long standing and ever expanding collaboration with Chicago heavy metal band HEMI. Numerous music videos have been produced for the band by me, I have designed their entire official web site, shoot nearly all of their live shows since April of 2011, and in 2012, I recorded, produced, edited, and mixed their first live album, The Chosen Ones: Live in the Fire, along with designing all of the interior artwork for the CD release. The friendship with the band has officially made me the fifth member of the band. As of 2011, RavensFilm Productions is a registered Service Mark in the State of Illinois. That only further legitimizes RavensFilm Productions in my eyes, and the expansion to offering a variety of video production and web design services aimed at the burgeoning artist has broken the possibilites wide open for what RavensFilm Productions can grow into becoming. The future is starting to develop more and more with the release of Dead Of Night on Special Edition DVD, the impending completion of The Fixer on the horizon, and several promising scripts in development. The year of 2013 brought high definition finally into the grasp of RavensFilm Productions, and several new YouTube video series were launched including Forever Cinematic video movie reviews and the Leftover Junk series where I feature abandoned, alternate, or unreleased footage from my projects that need a little context. The future holds many exciting opportunities and possibilites for everything I hope to do with RavensFilm Productions. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Matt Panayides | Matt Panayides is a modern guitarist and composer whose compelling melodies, compositions and improvisations have led to performances and collaborations with musicians all over the world. Employing modern harmonies, free and structured improvisations, mixed-meter rhythms and straight-ahead swing, Panayides has created his own unique musical voice on the guitar. Based in New York City, Matt leads a variety of different musical groups and can be found performing throughout NYC as a soloist, leading his own trio or quartet, or rounding out the rhythm section of a big band. His current musical project was formed in the Spring of 2018 and is called “Field Theory”. This band has been performing throughout NYC in venues such as the 55 Bar, Cornelia Street Cafe, Nublu and ShapeShifter Lab. Originally with Matt Vashlishan on wind synth, Bob Sabin on bass and Mark Ferber on drums Panayides also performs his compositions in trio and solo settings. Panayides has been taking his music abroad, collaborating with local musicians in South Korea and China who bring a unique perspective to his compositions. With drummer Jong Dae Oh in Seoul, Matt has played countless gigs in venues with the top musicians on the scene. In Shanghai Matt teams up with saxophonist Alec Haavik. With some US dates scheduled for the end of 2019, Panayides will record his third album, set to be released in 2020. His previous group featured a long-standing partnership with Rich Perry on tenor sax which led to the creation of two albums “Conduits” (2015) with Rich Perry, Mark Ferber and Thomson Kneeland, and “Tapestries of Song” (2011) with Rich Perry, Steve LaSpina and Dan Weiss. Both albums were released on the label Pacific Coast Jazz to much acclaim and feature Panayides’ compositions. Matt holds a BM from Manhattan School of Music and an MM from William Paterson University. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Colin J. Boyd | Colin J. Boyd (1891-1975) Cape Breton Fiddler Colin J. Boyd was born in West Lakevale, Antigonish Country, Nova Scotia on January 1, 1891. He took a great interest in the violin at age three and would listen intently to his uncle Hughie MacGillivary. When Hughie died his fiddle was given to Colin who was then twelve years old. He was kept busy playing for concerts, dances and weddings. The economy in Nova Scotia hit a slump and in 1909 Colin went to work in Ontario. Then he spent from 1911 to 1916 working in Boston where he studied violin and learned to read music. It was during this time he composed his most famous fiddle tune "The Little Burnt Potato". Colin was the first Nova Scotian in the old time or country field to make commercial recordings. He first recorded in Montreal for Brunswick on March 19, 1932. He also recorded 78's on the Columbia and Celtic labels. He last recorded an LP in 1963 at the age of 72. His old 78's were re-issued on LP in 1979. Though Colin has ten children, none of them have taken up the fiddle. Although Colin did not make a lot of money on music, he got much enjoyment from playing and entertaining. His home was always open to anyone wanting to hear a tune and he never refused to play. He passed away June 17, 1975 at the age of 84. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Hedda Gabler | Hedda Gabler is the name of a Dutch 1980s rock-noir band. Hedda Gabler's main original recorded works were self-released on vinyl: Scratching F.U.C.K on the Windshield (Vuurland-009, 1985) Mudhoney (Skeltone-001, 1987) House of Mourning (Luftmensch-001, 1990). The band Hedda Gabler received critical acclaim, notably the Dutch music journalist [a=Swie Tio] rated the band's output highly in his annual Top Ten lists, and the BBC DJ [a=John Peel] frequently featured the earlier Hedda Gabler tracks on his radio shows. Despite of this, the self-released albums were only sold in minor quantities, and have become collectors items. From the latter album House of Mourning the song 'Eating the Lion' (as a non-distributed single and a videoclip played on MTV) became a minor cult hit. In 2001 the band released their first CD compilation, entitled Layers (xtinct-001). | |
