Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Ruth Rodeheaver | American soprano, born January 13, 1898 in Jellicoe, Tennessee; died February 7, 1979 in Winona Lake, Indiana. Ruth Rodeheaver was a younger sister of singer and gospel music publisher Homer Rodeheaver. Growing up in Jellicoe, she was best friends with another aspiring soprano, Grace Moore, and both were enamored of soprano Amelita Galli-Curci, who often sang as a featured performer in religious revival meetings. Ruth made her first recordings in the form of test records made at Victor in June 1920, but all were rejected, and her recording debut was on the first release of her broher Homer Rodeheaver's Rainbow Records label singing "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," though she was not credited. She continued to record for Rainbow and Gennett through 1925 while attending to voice lessons in New York City; Grace Moore was her roomate there. In 1926, Ruth returned to Winona Lake and married Jim Thomas, the manager of the Rodeheaver Company's manufacturing plant. For some time in the 1930s, she was estranged from her husband, moving to Florida where she taught music to elementary school children and hosted a radio show. However, the couple eventually reconciled. After Grace Moore's death in an airplane crash in 1947, Ruth Rodeheaver resumed recording under her married name of Ruth Rodeheaver Thomas with her brother's revitalized Rainbow label. Her last commerical recordings were made for International Sacred in 1955, though still later ones exist on tape at the Winona History Center in Winona Lake, Indiana. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Sealsia | Sealsia | In 1973, Daniel Pons, Guy Chanut and Yves Jourdanet, three friends from high school in Arles, founded the group Sealsia, acoustic and vocal trio, mainly taking songs from Neil Young and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.(Daniel Pons: acoustic guitar and vocals, Guy Chanut: acoustic guitar and vocals, Yves Jourdanet: 12 string guitar and vocals). In 1975, Daniel Pons leaves the band, replaced by Patrick Schmitt on bass guitar.Sealsia becomes a semi-acoustic band, with hovering sounds interpreting his own compositions (Sealsia is an imaginary and magical kingdom populated by elves, fairies and gnomes, in which take place the tales written by three friends). In 1983, Sealsia merged with another arlesian band: Nef, and became Wladimir Sealsianeff (Richard Lorenzi: electric guitar, Vincent Tronc Chérézy: keyboards, Daniel Florès: drums, Guy Chanut and Yves Jourdanet). In 1989, the formation became acoustic again, sometimes as a trio, sometimes as a quartet, with the return of Daniel Pons, and an additional voice. In 2014, after 40 years on stage, Yves Jourdanet and Guy Chanut perform as a duo, revisiting the sixties with a fully acoustic energy, two voices and two guitars that cross the 'Woodstock Generation' from Dylan to Led Zeppelin, passing by the Stones, Beatles, Kinks, Neil Young, Simon and Garfunkel, Cat Stevens and many others. Yves Jourdanet is also singer, guitarist from the tribute bands Harvest (tributing Neil Young) and Sticky Fingers (tributing Rolling Stones). |

In 2012 she became a member of the Schiffbruch event crew whose ethos is great music and harmonic energy. Josephine soon became a regular on Berlin’s club and underground scene, frequently playing her trippy style of music at some of the most influential locations including Mensch Meier, Rummels Bucht & Sisyphos. In 2016, Yuli Fershtat aka Perfect Stranger and Gabi 2B invited her to be part of the Digital Structures team as a label DJ. After 10 years spinning as Josephine Wedekind she started Ayjo as a platform to express a more downtempo, psychedelic & experimental sound. She conceives that ‘Music is without borders, unlimited by genre, it’s simply a representation of taste’. To get more insight just listen to the compilation she created for Digital Structures. | Search | Add | 4 | PostOmnis | Sean Graves | PostOmnis is a band from Moore, Oklahoma, United States, formed in 2000. Throughout the bands history, the genre's of the band has included but not limited to: Ambient, Industrial, Electronica, Techno, Rock, New Age and Classical. The band was first started by Brother and Sister duo Sean and Sheri Graves. The only constant member of the band has been Sean Graves. Graves was originally in a New Age band called YAMA, but after the release of "The Longest Ship." He then left the band to begin PostOmnis. Between 2000-2004 the project released local demos of electronic sounds. Which saw a gradual change in writing style and genres. 2005's Conscience album was the first full length to be release on the internet and feature Sean Graves as vocalist of the band. Two singles were later released from the album on to the internet. "I was given a chance to live my dream since I was 16 and working on P.O.'s first album. I had facilities at schools and colleges. There were studios, theaters and videos to work on my craft and figure out weather I enjoyed the performance or the production side." Between 2006 - 2010 multiple albums were released, "Nos Mortuus" dubed as the project's most dark ambient album. "Insomniac People" was more electronic and industrial. The "Equilibrium" album featured the voice of Sean and Sheri's father throughout the album. 2011-2012 A revamp of PostOmnis began when Sean Graves enlisted into the United States Navy. While writing music for the band he had also traveled across the world searching for new sounds. New band members including Lor, Talios Wing, and Kevin (Guitar Guy). "After taking a long time off from working on the project. It feels really good to talk to people of like minds. People who can hear the music and take it to another world. The project has grown, I'm very comfortable with the new music and it's really exciting to be working again on the craft." |

January 23, 1922 in St. Petersburg, Russia (then called Petrograd)) Wahrlich, known in Russian as Гуго Иванович Варлих (Hugo Ivanovich Warlich), played first viola with the Mannheim symphony orchestra from 1874. In the late 1870s, when the orchestra toured Russia, he remained in the country, working first as a viola player. In 1888, he became Second Assistant Conductor of the Imperial Court Orchestra ([a=Императорский Придворный Оркестр]) in St. Petersburg. After increasingly replacing its main conductor, Hermann Fliege, for important performances, Wahrlich completely took over the direction of this orchestra in 1907, after Fliege death. In 1902, when the orchestra began to give public performances, Wahrlich started an annual concert series introducing new works by Russian composers. In 1909, for example, Wahrlich directed the Russian debut of [a= Alexander Scriabine]'s "Le Poème de l’Extase." Wahrlich himself composed the march Наследник Цесаревич (“Naslednik Tsarevich”) in honor of Grand Prince Alexei (1913). Around 1903, Wahrlich conducted the Imperial Court Orchestra on several recordings for [l=Columbia]. Later, he also recorded for [l=Amour] and [l=Zonophone]. After the Russian Revolution, Wahrlich was allowed to stay on for a while with what became Soviet Russia's first philharmonic orchestra, but only as Assistant Conductor. From 1919 to his death, he conducted military brass bands in Petrograd. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Алиса Апрелева | Татьяна Коломейцева | Alisa Apreleva is a Russian singer, composer, multiinstrumentalist, producer, and poet. Alisa Apreleva's music is rooted in a wide variety of genres: from authentic Eastern Slavic folklore to chamber to jazz to rock to film music. She uses voice and an array of acoustic instruments (cellos, harp, accordion, hang drum, piano, ethnic drums), along with looping and electronic processing, in her compositions, creating the style best described as "acoustic ambient". EthnoLoops, her most recent project, is a solo set for voice, cello and a loop station, where Eastern European and Native American traditional songs coexist with original compositions to create a universe full of joy and color. Soundscapes around EthnoLoops are build by Ishaan Chhabra, a sound architect from India. Alisa Apreleva's CD "Lucidus", including 11 compositions for voice, drums and three celli, was released in 2011. Finest musicians from Russia, United States, Mexico, India, Costa Rica were involved in production and presentation of the album, which was enthusiastically welcomed by critics, fans and musical connoisseurs in Russia, Europe, United States and Latin America. Alisa Apreleva started performing professionally early in her life as a classical singer and pianist. Since 2001, Alisa has acquired popularity as a singer-songwriter and a widely published poet. In 2003-2004 Alisa worked as an actress with “Tample” musical theater (Moscow, Russia). In 2003 Alisa graduated cum laude from the Lomonosov Moscow State University with Master’s Degree in Linguistics and Education and entered the post-graduate school. In 2004 Alisa moved to Seattle, USA. Since then she lives between two continents and writes songs in two languages. Starting from 2006, Alisa Apreleva is getting more and more popular around the globe as “the Russian singing cellist wonder”. In 2006-2008 Apreleva studied film scoring with Hummie Mann ("Robin Hood: Men in Tights", "Year of the Comet", "Dracula: Dead and Lovin It", "Language of the Heart", "Sleepless in Seattle, "Simpsons", "ALF"), within the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program. During 2010 - 2012 Alisa continued her music education as a scholarship recipient of Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA), majoring in Music Therapy studies. In 2010-2011 she also studied classical composition with Tibor Pusztai, composer and conductor from Hungary. Alisa Apreleva is featured on "Mi única llave" CD by José Mercé (2012, produced by Javier Limón), "Eastern Tapestries" by Christiane Karam (2012), and more. Some of the venues Alisa Apreleva has performed at are: Grand Concert Hall of the Moscow Conservatoire, DOM cultural center (Moscow, Russia), Webster Hall (NYC, NY), Middle East Downstairs (Cambridge, MA), Berklee Performance Center (Boston, MA), Old South Church (Boston, MA), Amante Club (San Francisco, CA), Jewel Box Theatre (Seattle, WA), Mstrsk (Moscow, Russia), Library of Arts (Voronezh, Russia), Laboratorio de Arte Alameda (Mexico City, Mexico). |

He grew up on a ranch and well, like any type of cowboy in those days, he would often find himself entertaining the other ranch hands after the long day's work was done. He started at radio station WARL out of Arlington, Virginia. Worked at the Bismarck Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. He did guest shots on the WSM Grand Ole Opry. For two years, he entertained the US troops in the Far East as part of the Special Services Road Shows. Around 1954 or so, Harry signed on with Cliffie Stone and became a part of the long running popular show the "Hometown Jamboree". | |
