Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

CHEB CREW - 7 years of strict punk rock with bloody hematomas "Пизды получат все!" |

| Search | Add | 3 | Floy Webb Franks | January 18, 1930 - November 10, 2008 Floy was born in Roswell, N.M., to Loyd and Bertha Webb. Since she was 10 years old, winning cartons of RC Cola singing with brother Cloys Webb at the Paramount Theater in Amarillo, Texas, music had been a vital part of Floy's life. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1948 and attended Amarillo College. At Amarillo High School, where she was voted Senior Favorite in 1948, she performed with a special quintet, Four Hits and a Miss, in addition to the choir. A year later, while being named Miss Amarillo College, she started singing as a soloist with several area big bands. Shortly after marrying Ray, she reached the final plateau of auditions on the famous Arthur Godfrey Talent Scouts television show. As her family grew, she turned her talents to Amarillo's Sweet Adelines, where she was a charter member, and sang women's bass in a number of quartets. She also utilized her beautiful, God-given voice with the choir at Paramount Baptist Church, where she was a charter member. Until she was physically unable to perform with the choir, she often was called on to do solos in church services. In addition, she was involved in many evangelical crusades in the U.S. and around the world, singing for the Lord. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Damarge | Damarge existed as a functioning unit between late 1981 and 1984 and were based in the Southend-on-Sea area and comprised: * Bill 'Kirt Tempest' Bailey: keys/tapes/electronic beats, * Iain 'Oaf' Weir: bass, * Cliff Gee: voice, * Mark 'Snowboy' Cotgrove: percussion. The band was originally formed by Kirt, Oaf & Cliff who all attended Westcliff High School together. The band was later complimented by the addition of Hadleigh's greatest musical export - Snowboy - sometime in early 1983 after a chance meeting with Kirt at Honky Tonk music store (in Hadleigh, Essex, UK) earlier that year. The original 3-piece band practiced in Oaf's bedroom with pretty minimal equipment. The first song to be written was 20,000 Souls - a chorus chant about West Ham United's Upton Park football ground in East London. The band's output was marked by three relatively distinct phases. Early Period: 1981 to early 1982 A period of early exploration and experimentation - usually undertaken in Oaf's bedroom-cum-studio or Kirt's lounge. Snowboy was not a member at this time and no polished recordings were made and just one gig performed (Zero 6 where all these songs were performed). Songs written at this time included In Remembrance of M.P. (about a good friend, Mark Paveley, who tragically killed himself while only 18 years old) and Jazz-Funk - a concoction of self-indulgent solo Fender-Rhodes improvised jazz riffs (in the vein of the jazz-funk style popular at the time) and an eccentric cacophony of sounds and effects resulting from feeding the Dr. Rhythm through a Big Muff distortion peddle and a Korg x911 guitar synthesizer Mid Period: 1982 to early 1984 This was the most productive era and was marked by Snowboy joining the band (any connection anyone?). Bodyrock was written and Damarge played at The Cliffs Pavilion band contest (one of the biggest venues in Essex). This phase marked the use of more sophisticated equipment, notably - all be it on day hire - the E-mu Drumulator sample drum machine and completion of the main demo tape using some borrowed digital effects. Other songs written/recorded here was Cold (a 5 minute instrumental that would be described as Dark Ambient nowadays and of which only a couple minutes survive), I Feel Love (the classic Donna Summer track) and Break On Through (To The Other Side) - a cover of the classic Doors song. Late Period: 1984 This period was marked by a more fragmented set of styles and a few songs that were never recorded but performed live a few times. These songs include Bostok & Chandler (the authors of an A-level mathematics text book), O.B.N. and Heteroman - an outrageously pumping gay-disco anthem with a catchy Eastern-style riff. The band never officially broke-up, members just went on to do their own things and still keep in touch. There is always talk of reforming for a one-off gig - but current obligations and logistics may make this worthy goal unrealistic. Well, at least for the time being ? but then again? | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Shoot the DJ | Emerging out of the Armidale "hippy punk" movement of the late-1970s, Shoot the DJ was a theatrical rock band based in the New England region of New South Wales (ca. 1982-1984) and later in Sydney (1985-1986). Its musical influences ranged across a diverse number of genres, including classic rock, hard rock, punk, art rock, bubblegum pop and film themes. While Shoot the DJ did not release any recordings at the time, its music was played on ABC radio’s Triple J network and on local radio stations like 2ARM FM. During its Armidale tenure the band regularly toured the North-West and North Coast regions, including centres such as Tamworth, Uralla, Inverell, Narrabri, Dorrigo, Coffs Harbour, Byron Bay, Grafton and Macksville. It secured its gigs either through self-management or with John Logan Entertainment and Horizon Entertainment. Several albums have been retrospectively released through the Northern Tablelands Music Industry Archive. Shoot the DJ’s distinctive stage shows (with designs by [a16133835] and Jo-ann Simmons) set them apart from all other regional New South Wales bands, as did their preference for playing mostly original material. For one Armidale show they decked the stage out as a fully furnished one room apartment, with invited guests later interacting with them. A gig at Coffs Harbour's Hoe Moe saw the the entire stage (including equipment) wrapped in alfoil. The band’s live appearances would also sometimes involve poetry readings, theatrical scenes played out by actors, live television broadcasts and a multitude of theme-related props, ranging from skeletons and blow-up sex dolls to original artwork and paintings by Clay Djubal. On election night 1983, for example, they set up televisions around the stage so patrons could watch the results. The band's line-up, which remained the same throughout its tenure, comprised [a15716712] (guitar/vocals/live sound), Clay Djubal (vocals/bass/design and food), [a16133838] (drums/recording engineer/live sound), and [a16133841] (guitar/vocals). Interestingly the band had access to a four-track recording deck from the start, and acquired its own PA system soon after forming. Jo-Ann Simmons was engaged as front-of-house mixer. She later moved to lighting operator and collaborated as lyricist with Clay Djubal on many of the band's original songs. Shoot the DJ temporarily disbanded in 1984 when Djubal, Mirza and Mitchell relocated to Sydney to take up individual opportunities. Within a year, however, a new stream-lined three piece line-up came together (comprising Djubal, Mitchell and former Grafton guitarist, Nick Miles). Ziggy Mirza, who was then playing in another Sydney band helped record a bunch of new songs before Miles was engaged. He returned in early-1986 as bass guitarist for Shoot the DJ's northern New South Wales tour (with Helga ünd der Blitzkrieg). The band played as a three piece in their first set and with Mirza in the second – thereby allowing Clay Djubal to focus on lead vocals and keyboards. The group disbanded not long after the tour when it became apparent that each of the members were keen to move in different career directions. Although the Mark II version of Shoot the DJ recorded an album’s worth of material during this period nothing was ever released until 2008. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Saltwater Vampires | Saltwater Vampires is a three piece punk band from Charleston, IL. The trio met in high school where they quickly formed friendships sparked by their mutual love of obscure music and by their distrust of mainstream everything. The first two years consisted mostly of heavy drinking and sporadic writing which eventually led to creating and refining a style and sound that which consisted of a own-a sound the band affectionately describes as…"hook, heart, and balls". Over time, they perfected the anger/confusion-based love song which had became their specialty. After a few years of ignoring the music scene and avoiding public performances, they released a disc of ten songs chosen from their repertoire of over seventy originals, and entered the underground music scene. saltwatervampires@hotmail.com | |

These cities share a border between each other, which exposed him to the early pioneers of the electronic music scene at a real young age ,so he is no stranger to the electronic music scene or DJ world .After visiting many raves and holding his very own breakdancing battles with friends at many different location across windsor, and one that was hugely known as the UnderGround and many other random locations in the late 90's and early 2000's. Since then he has been partly active in the scene until about 2006 Royce aka Speekrcreep started producing his very own original music and actively dj-jing through out the city of windsor and during that time ,he has gain a lot of experience in producing and releasing many original tracks,Remix's & Dj sets under many different alter-ego's,experimenting with every style from Break Beats,hip-hop,Dubstep,Drumstep,DnB to Electro House and yes, even Break-Core which many aurn't to famiiar with. 2006 to 2013 Royce was introduced to the online world and since then he's managed to gain a lot of respect worldwide & support in his local club scene, helping organize many free events & club nights with the main goal of supporting his local scene ,to playing live shows at art galleries, fundraiser, nightclubs,University radio, etc or just to have a good time, with the joy of letting people hear his unique style of music he has produced over the years. All that and he doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. In 2008 Royce started pushing his own electronic music label "Subbbace Records"(www.subbbacerecords.com) under the name Dstruct.O due to the fact other label's never seemed interested in his work,so he decided to start his own to push releases produced by him and other artists alike, with the main goal of building a successful and respected music label & to help other artists who are in it for the love of making music and not the money.. Royce has opened shows for many respected Producers & Dj’s in the game,to name a few like J.Rabbit,TerraBad,OriginalSin,Osborne,MattClarke,MikeHuckaby,Kero,AnnieHall,D-Sisive,Etc.Most DJ’s choose to play on laptops & midi controllers these days, but Royce aka Speekrcreep prefers sticking with the traditional cd's and pioneer cdjs + mix, Due to its standard use in every nightclub and he's just that good on them, always creating new , unique and seamless mixes only djs with great ears, years of experience and knowledge could achieve.Their is no auto beat matching and pre mixes in his sets. Look out for the name because he's been gaining more and more support everyday . 2014 and Beyond Royce aka Speekrcreep has currently started looking towards the future and totally switched directions, due to the ongoing saturation and watering down of the electronic music scene,he has decided to start a whole new label named Trebaltek Records which is a new up and coming underground electronic dance music label run by a small team of professional producer / dj's from the Windsor,Ontario & Detroit,Michigan area.Specialize in music releases on vinyl / digital and other various formats. If you would like to now more about his label please visit: www.trebaltek.ca if you would like to get more information on original music, tourdates, mixes, etc please see links below. |

| Search | Add | 3 | KP Devlin | At the age of five when his parents took him to see a Pete Seeger/Arlo Guthrie concert, KP Devlin’s interest in music took root. His interest grew as he began to write poetry and while in college in New York in the early 90’s got his first guitar. Revering Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits, he started to write his own songs and began performing live in NYC. His first CD, Spirit of the Mule, came out in 1995. Since then he has toured the US and Australia and has received airplay in those countries as well as in Belgium, Holland, Costa Rica and other parts of the globe. In early 2014 he released his 9th CD, entitled Violescent. Of his work, listeners have said that it’s "eclectic, always compelling." He uses words not only for their meaning but because of the way they sound, completely stripped of meaning. Devlin strives to follow his own mystical vision and shies away from being constrained to one particular genre. As he says, "I just know that I hear music in my head and each record I make gets closer to sounding like that." In Violescent, to satisfy his fascination with ethnic music as well as early music, Devlin blends the two by his use of uilleann pipes, tin whistle, hurdy gurdy, viola da gamba and krumhorns. The result is distinctly Irish with a flavor of the renaissance. At the same time, he incorporates upright bass, drums and electric guitars to produce more of a rock context. In earlier recordings, he embraces a wide variety of ethnic music and instruments including Mexican (trumpets), Indian (sitar), Middle Eastern (oud), Chinese (erhu) and Greek (bouzouki). Accompanying him on Violescent are many fine musicians including Eric Bazilian (the Hooters, Joan Osborne) and Sammy Merendino (Cyndi Lauper). From that first inspiration when he was five years old, he has honed and continues to sharpen his musical sense into what is distinctly Devlin. | |

His first record was entitled "Spiritual Awakening." Next, he released "Musical Evolutions." His final record on Limitless was called "Psycho." Adam Freeland claimed it was one of the best produced demos he had heard in the US at the time (2001). It was a hard nuskool track that caught the attention of Scott Weiser of Jackal & Hyde and Dynamix II. Omar Santana also heard the track and then flew MC2000 to LA for a week to work on music for a proposed new project called the Cyberian Knights; a group of artists who produced dark, nu skool and electro music. His remix of [a=Jackal & Hyde] "Seek and Destroy" was released in 2006 on Warped Recordz. After working with [a=Omar Santana] MC2000 remixed a track of his called "Impending Boom" which is unreleased. BJ Scofield currently lives in San Francisco and produces electronic music as a hobby but not as seriously as he use to. |
