Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Thrashqueen | Thrashqueen (also written Thrash Queen) was a thrash/speed metal band from New Britain, Connecticut, USA, that was formed in 1984. The band split up in 1987. Not to be confused with [a=Thrash Queen], although it seems, that this is the same band, because both albums were released by the label [l=Metal Enterprises]. Actually, this semblance was intended by Metal Enterprises (as you can obviously see in the band picture of the original band on the back sleeve of the fake band's release), but both albums were created by completely different musicians. Interestingly, the real band and the fake band is titled Trash Queen on the labels of both Metal Enterprises albums' vinyl releases. Vocals – Diane Frost Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar – Laura Maguire Bass – Jamie Winters Drums – Robin Paradis | |

Arriving in a Slovakian commune in Bridgeport, Connecticut, at the age of 6, he worked hard to perfect his command of the English language. He began his radio career as a baritone singer, recording "Tancuj, Tancuj," a well-known Slovak folk song, in 1921. Two years later, he performed at Carnegie Hall with noted Australian composer Percy Grainger. He joined NBC in the year of its formation, 1926, as a baritone soloist and announcer. As a radio announcer, Havrilla was heard on NBC's "The Palmolive Hour" from 1927 to 1931, as well as on several other radio programs, including "The Jack Benny Program", CBS's "Strange As It Seems", and Paul Whiteman's radio program. In 1935, he received an award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters naming him “the best radio announcer from the standpoint of pronunciation, articulation, tonal quality, accent, and general cultural effect.” The prestigious Medal for Good Diction was also awarded to Havrilla. Between 1928 and 1946, he narrated Pathe newsreels and travelogues for Universal, Paramount Pictorial, and RKO movie producers. Havrilla joined radio station WPAT in Paterson, New Jersey, in 1946, and transferred to Newark’s WNJR in 1949, his employer at the time of his death on December 7, 1952. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | swwwarm | Darko Vukić | Darko Vukić, Serbia-born and Vienna-based, is a sonic practitioner working as sava zolog, kraftt ebbingg, and more. Its work explores experimental electronica, deep drone, and psychoacoustic minimalism with a focus on speculative, process-driven sound art. Emerging from the post-Yugoslav zone of sonic unmaking, Vukic’s practice draws on a fractured memoryscape where personal mythology, noise poetics, and soft circuitry converge. As sava zolog, it explores digital ephemera, cut-up affect, and sensorial glitch. Under the kraftt ebbingg moniker, the focus shifts toward ritualistic soundscapes and dark ambient narrative sequences that resemble sonic exorcisms—somatic and archival. Its compositions often unfold like anti-architectures, favoring entropy over form and vibration over harmony. Released through underground labels and performed in hybrid venues, Vukic’s output resonates across both club and gallery contexts—never fully settling into either. Darko is also active in research-led projects connecting sound with speculative theory, body politics, and machine ritualism. It frequently collaborates with visual artists, dancers, and AI systems, invoking modular improvisation as a generative tool for disorientation. |

Current line-up band Filip Košnik - Vocals (2008-present) Klemen Govekar - Guitars (2007-present) Martin Jagodić - Guitars (2009-present) Vid Pobegajlo - Bass (2015-present) Rok Lukavečki - Drums (2015-present) Biography Armaroth is known to the masses as a five-headed acid spitting death metal entity residing underneath Kranj, Slovenia. Formed in 2008, this act has already established itself as one of the most promising bands to come from the region, a claim that they have supported with numerous raging shows in their home country. After their Burning Execution Demo (2010) showed signs of things yet to come, Armaroth released their EP titled False Vision in 2013, which was (and still is) held in very high regard by fans and reviewers alike. In fall 2015, Vid Pobegajlo joined and Rok Lučavečki joined as bassist and drummer. With the new lineup, the band released singles Diamox and Deep Of Throats, announcing heabiliy anticipated debut album ZENITH. The LP was released in December 2016 and gained very positive reviews, which labeled it as an excellent and innovative piece of art. The stage is the place where the band really comes alive and fulfills its full potential as a force intoxicating, seducing and ultimately obliterating every last man present. Armed with a war machine of a rhythm section, riffs that take the term "brutal badass death metal" to a new level, guttural vocals and an enormous stage presence, Armaroth are a force to be reckoned with. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Shoot the DJ | Emerging out of the Armidale "hippy punk" movement of the late-1970s, Shoot the DJ was a theatrical rock band based in the New England region of New South Wales (ca. 1982-1984) and later in Sydney (1985-1986). Its musical influences ranged across a diverse number of genres, including classic rock, hard rock, punk, art rock, bubblegum pop and film themes. While Shoot the DJ did not release any recordings at the time, its music was played on ABC radio’s Triple J network and on local radio stations like 2ARM FM. During its Armidale tenure the band regularly toured the North-West and North Coast regions, including centres such as Tamworth, Uralla, Inverell, Narrabri, Dorrigo, Coffs Harbour, Byron Bay, Grafton and Macksville. It secured its gigs either through self-management or with John Logan Entertainment and Horizon Entertainment. Several albums have been retrospectively released through the Northern Tablelands Music Industry Archive. Shoot the DJ’s distinctive stage shows (with designs by [a16133835] and Jo-ann Simmons) set them apart from all other regional New South Wales bands, as did their preference for playing mostly original material. For one Armidale show they decked the stage out as a fully furnished one room apartment, with invited guests later interacting with them. A gig at Coffs Harbour's Hoe Moe saw the the entire stage (including equipment) wrapped in alfoil. The band’s live appearances would also sometimes involve poetry readings, theatrical scenes played out by actors, live television broadcasts and a multitude of theme-related props, ranging from skeletons and blow-up sex dolls to original artwork and paintings by Clay Djubal. On election night 1983, for example, they set up televisions around the stage so patrons could watch the results. The band's line-up, which remained the same throughout its tenure, comprised [a15716712] (guitar/vocals/live sound), Clay Djubal (vocals/bass/design and food), [a16133838] (drums/recording engineer/live sound), and [a16133841] (guitar/vocals). Interestingly the band had access to a four-track recording deck from the start, and acquired its own PA system soon after forming. Jo-Ann Simmons was engaged as front-of-house mixer. She later moved to lighting operator and collaborated as lyricist with Clay Djubal on many of the band's original songs. Shoot the DJ temporarily disbanded in 1984 when Djubal, Mirza and Mitchell relocated to Sydney to take up individual opportunities. Within a year, however, a new stream-lined three piece line-up came together (comprising Djubal, Mitchell and former Grafton guitarist, Nick Miles). Ziggy Mirza, who was then playing in another Sydney band helped record a bunch of new songs before Miles was engaged. He returned in early-1986 as bass guitarist for Shoot the DJ's northern New South Wales tour (with Helga ünd der Blitzkrieg). The band played as a three piece in their first set and with Mirza in the second – thereby allowing Clay Djubal to focus on lead vocals and keyboards. The group disbanded not long after the tour when it became apparent that each of the members were keen to move in different career directions. Although the Mark II version of Shoot the DJ recorded an album’s worth of material during this period nothing was ever released until 2008. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Quarter Mile Combo | The first full-length cd of Californian rock’n’roll band ¼ Mile Combo was released last year. The guys started the band in 2004, but the lineup (as it is now) became complete two years later, when Nettie Hammar, the lead singer, joined the band. So three years of proper work and here they are: 12 self-penned tracks, played, arranged and recorded in very good quality. Responsible for writing songs are drummer Gary Daly and bass player Todd Jenkins. The lyrics maybe a little bit too serious for “silly” rockabilly. Musically everything is in a good balance. Not too loud, not too noisy, though nothing extraordinary either. Good backing vocals, brilliant addition to strong main female vocal. I wish that Quarter Mile Combo had at least one duet song! The style… Well, American, I guess. Blend of rock’n’roll (most of it), country (slightly) and solid rockin’ sound (psychobilly influence?). In one word - that's what lots of Americans calls “rockabilly” nowadays. “Motels, Gas and Beer”. I like when bands not just pick up the name of the song, but make their own “interpritation” of their creation… it gives extra excitement to find out “why exactly this name?”. In this case I think the band united in it not only list of the songs, but also added their name to it. Travelling, energy, drinking – in other words, rock’n’roll on the road. And, in fact, it does really sound like that! In addition (or better say, conclusion) I want to say that while I was listening to this cd, I had all the time funny feeling. Sometimes I thought “oh, it sounds good, but so boring”. And sometimes, it came like that “wow! Amazing job, I wish we could have more cd’s like that!”. So it would be very interesting to hear your opinion too! Submitted by: kitti. Publication date - 13 January 2010 Copyrights: Rockabilly Bash | |
