Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | Liminals | Uppsala based Liminals were formed in 2009 by Tomas Bodén and Anna-Karin Brus as a club-oriented side project to Differnet, a band where they both are members. Differnet gained widespread international acclaim with their experimental electronica on albums such as "Come On And Bring Back The Brjokén Sounds of Yore" and "The Title of the Record is the Text Printed On the Cover, Or Nothing At All". As Tomas and Anna-Karin now explore the strobing lights of the dancefloor, they continue to draw attention and have already been recognized by Pitchfork, Swedish daily Svenska Dagbladet and Swedish national radio shows P3 Pop and P2 Ström. When Liminals released their debut, the "Hearthand" EP (Friendly Noise, 2009), a video was made by Sebastian Rozenberg for the track "The Swim" and the duo has since made a number of celebrated gigs throughout Sweden and Norway (for example, the Norberg Festival, the Volt Festival in Uppsala and the Phono Festival in Bergen). | |

Kitagawa (born October 23, 1931, Los Angeles, California, USA – died July 9, 2019), known professionally as Johnny Kitagawa (ジャニー喜多川), was a Japanese-American businessman and talent manager. He was the founder and president of [l997919], a production agency for numerous popular boy bands in Japan. He is the youngest brother of [a8214561], who administrated Johnny & Associates for many years. In March 2023, BBC released a documentary centered on the sexual harassment claims against Kitagawa, titled Predator: The Secret Scandal of J-Pop. In April 2023, musician and former Johnny's Jr. Kauan Okamoto told a press conference held at the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan that he had been subjected to sexual abuse by Kitagawa on a number of occasions between 2012 and 2016, and called on the company's current management to acknowledge the misconduct. Okamoto estimated that between 100 and 200 boys were invited to Kitagawa's home during his time at Johnny's, and claimed that when Kitagawa told one of his guests to go to bed early, everyone knew "it was your turn." On May 14, 2023, Johnny & Associates president Julie Keiko Fujishima (a niece of Johnny Kitagawa) issued an apology to those that have alleged sexual abuse by Kitagawa. She added that she was committed to implementing measures addressing the victim's needs. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Andy Baar | Andy Baar | Andy Baar's first contact with electronic Dance music was in 1993 at Düsseldorf Unionrave. From there on he'd knew ”This is my thing”. Being Guest at several Parties with electronic Music he felt the need to swap his place on the dancefloor with a place behind the turntables. In 1996 having the first gigs in Clubs around Cologne. 1997 was the beginning of what he really liked: He started as resident DJ at Evosonic Radio. From the first day to it's last, Evosonic Radio was his second home base. Starting with the Show ”Evopool-Update”, he loved to work on air and everything that had to do with that, like recording jingles, creating concepts and sets for the show. Quick after that he had his first own weekly show called “Sleep Disorder”. Hours and hours on air, getting a much brighter horizon of what electronic music could do, he went more and more familiar with lots of genres electronic music has to offer. Several gigs around Germany and being a part of the Loveprades DJset 1998 and 1999 were some of his highlights. 2012 the old love of making Radio shows knocked on his door with the possibility of having an online broadcast at the 15th anniversary of Evosonic Radio. Since the he used this way for broadcasting his “Wunderbaar Radioshow” (since 2016 his show “Sleep Disorder” as podcast) for letting old and new fans have the typical sound again. 2017 started Evosonic Radio again….with Andy Baar. 2017 is also the year of another highlight in his career. On Evosonic Records his first production is released: "Sleep Disorder EP". |

| Search | Add | 5 | Christopher Winker | Christopher Winker | I started experimenting with different styles of music with my brother mike, ranging from rock to techno in late 2000 … sitting in front of the TV while using the Playstation 2 Software „Music Generator” and recording every track onto cassette tapes. We started early recordings in hopes to put together an album by blending metal and electronica to create a unique sound that doesn't normally dominate radio and clubs. We decided to collaborate and put together lot’s of records, each one represented our maturity. After few years I decided to go all out and start creating everything from the ground up … having experience and new studio equipment, I realized what needed to be done, Mr. Gordon was born! Lot’s of tracks and jam-sessions are stored on my drive, with lots of highs and lows and too much ideas, some tracks are coming together and some are not. Not fitting in, is the choice … cause whats the point of doing another ordinary track. Just going with the flow of Mr. Oizo: „Some are good, Some are bad, Some are just okay ...“ |

As a Dj works against anticipation and boredom in the dancefloor, breaking any rule established in the art of djing. As a label co-owner he takes an excited and unrestrained approach to his projects. More importantly, as an internet persona he has breathed childlike humour into an online world that is increasingly dark and cynical. | Search | Add | 5 | Leni Re'nae | Born: July 28, 1936. Leni ReNae's father immigrated to Canada from Germany before the Second World War, while her mother is of German origin as well. Her father settled in northern Saskatchewan. She's the oldest of three children and the only one that had musical talent, which she says was inherited from her grandfather on her mother's side. He played fiddle, piano, and clarinet. At a young age, she would accompany her grandfather on guitar and sing as well. While living in northern British Columbia in the 1960s, she formed her own band. Because gigs were few and far between in the remote area, a person suggested she move to Vancouver, B.C., to increase her opportunities in the country music industry. A lack of outlets for her music, along with little money, stalled her career. An opportunity came up to tour the United States with an all-girl group, which she played piano and sang on some songs. That tour made her realize music was what she wanted to do with her life, and she moved across the border to Blaine, Washington by the late '60s. When she was not touring, her husband would play drums at local shows in the Pacific Northwest. When she was on the road, he would stay home and take care of their two boys and two girls. Her children were also singers and musicians.

He started playing live shows with synthesizers in 2016 and moved to NYC in 2018 to be closer to more active electronic music scene and fellow synthesizer freaks. As of 2023, he is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Staying true to his original sound of spacey atmospheric ambience with dubby, techno-adjacent rhythms, Afturmath released his debut album "[r=26045632]" in 2019 on his label [l3145472].
