Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | JP Maurice | Jean-Paul Maurice | “Big change is coming” is JP Maurice’s anthemic promise to anyone who has seen their share of adversity. The seasoned Vancouver based musician, songwriter and producer knows the highs of his craft, but it’s in the lows where he finds his fire – taking the fuel of failed record deals, broken hearts, and the loss of loved ones and forging the pain into something beautifully optimistic. After touring Canada, Europe, and then taking home 2nd place in the PEAK Performance Project radio contest in 2015, a loss in the family turned Maurice mostly inwards, where he focused on channeling his emotions into his art. Investing in a world-class studio in Vancouver has allowed for late night collaborations, producing other artists, and creating endless song ideas. A direct result was the Girls EP, released in January 2017, which sweeps from cinematic pop-noir into slinky neo-soul, all tied together with Maurice’s powerfully emotive vocals. It’s a modern sound that captures timeless sentiments – love, loss, and the twists and turns in between. 2018 Kicked off with Maurice’s national TV debut as a featured artist on CTV’s The Launch, where he performed “Shapeshifter” live in front of industry big-wigs and over 1 million Canadian viewers. The follow up to the Girls EP was the aptly titled Boys LP, released in the spring of 2018. Picking up where the Girls EP left off, Boys has a more optimistic tone and evolves into a new sound for Maurice with flecks of alt country and roots rock embedded in the album. Since then, Maurice has immersed himself in working on his forthcoming album Pressure Makes Diamonds; set to be his most personal endeavor to date by taking on co-production duties alongside music industry veteran Ted Gowans (The Rentals, Tegan and Sara, Kehsa). The album is slotted to be released in 2020 and will coincide with Maurice’s plans to embark on a European tour. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Original Camellia Jazz Band | Taking its name from a steam paddle wheeler that, in a bygone era, ran excursions across Lake Ponchartrain from Milneburg to Mandeville, the Original Camellia Jazz Band has become one of the most musically consistent and visible bands in New Orleans today. A working unit, they are equally happy to play for a Sunday Brunch, a convention party, a dinner dance or wedding reception. Every engagement shows off their versatility nicely with a wide spectrum of tunes - from traditional jazz classics like Tiger Rag and Basin Street Blues, to great standards of the 30s and 40s such as 'S Wonderful and Stardust. The Camellia can perform in the full six or seven-piece format, or as the Camellia Trio or Quartet for more relaxed, soft jazz. The smaller format works well also as a strolling group or mini-parade band. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Lew Anderson | Lewis Burr Anderson | Lew Anderson (May 7, 1922 – May 14, 2006) was an American actor and musician, most famous for being the third and final actor to portray Clarabell the Clown on Howdy Doody between 1954 and 1960. He was also a musician. He famously spoke Clarabell's one and only line on the program on the show's final episode in 1960, with a tear visible in his eye, "Goodbye, kids." Anderson was born in Kirkman, Iowa, the son of a railroad telegrapher. He began playing his sister's clarinet when she tired of it, and by high school had formed his own dance band. After a year in junior college in Fort Dodge, Iowa, he received a music scholarship to Drake University in Des Moines. He attended for two years, but then quit school to begin his professional musical life by accepting a job with the Lee Barron sleeper bus band. During World War II, Anderson served in the United States Navy where he started his first band. After serving in the Navy in World War II, he joined the Carlos Molinas Latin Orchestra, where he also wrote the American dance arrangements. In the late 1940s, he joined The Honey Dreamers, a singing group that appeared on radio and early television shows like The Ed Sullivan Show. While working with the group, he met "Buffalo" Bob Smith who offered him the role on the Howdy Doody show. Anderson again played Clarabell on the short-lived "New Howdy Doody Show" in 1976-1977 and in the 1987 40th anniversary special and made personal appearances as Clarabell with Buffalo Bob for many years thereafter. After his six year stint as Clarabell, he returned to music, and in his later years, played and led the 16-piece Lew Anderson Big Band Friday nights in New York's jazzclub, Birdland. Anderson died in Hawthorne, New York from complications of prostate cancer. |

| Search | Add | 5 | A Little Farther West | The music of A Little Farther West evokes the spirit of classic western movie soundtracks. The Oklahoma duo, consisting of Robert Maxwell Case on electric guitar and vocals and his wife Susie on continental combo organ, offers up a modern take on the cinematic instrumental and vocal styles of the late 1950's through the early 1970's. Robert has been a journeyman solo entertainer all of his working life. He met Susie during his ten years performing in Branson, MO. In 2014 she began playing keyboard behind his guitar and vocals and the duo of A Little Farther West was born. The group has released five albums, "A Little Farther West," "Mountain Storm," "God Must Be A Cowboy," "Christmas On The Line," and "Vaya Con Dios." A Little Farther West has held local residencies at historic Route 66 venues The Beach House and C&J's Restaurant and appeared as opening act in concert with Michael Martin Murphey and Sons Of The Pioneers. They have performed multiple seasons at such Old West celebrations as the Pawnee Bill Wild West Show at the Pawnee Bill Ranch and Will's Country Christmas at the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Marco Burgatto | Marco Burgatto | Italian musician and composer, born 21 December 1975 in Milan, Italy. Marco's musical career evolved quite rapidly following an early, illuminating approach to guitar - his first-choice instrument - in a gone-by hot summer. After some years spent in steadily refining his playing skills, in 1997 he started his involvement as a session musician on four studio albums by rock group 'Loverwolf', culminating in a long series of live performances in clubs all around Italy. Already gained, by that time, a higher degree of guitar mastery, he made a decisive breakthrough towards new musical experiences by pushing into the background performing, and devoting himself to composing. Starting from 2001 on, he scored several works by directors Cristian Mazzola and Raffaele Piscitelli; in the meanwhile, he completed his first video clip, "Pioggia" (2002), which eventually resulted in the release of the homonym double concept album in 2003. Also in 2003, he released the mini CD "Dall’Inizio Alla Fine", including three short poems set to music using classical tunes, while, the following year, he found the right combination of time, inspiration and energies to complete his second full-length album, "Fantasmi". The growing importance of classical music in Marco's compositions led to the landmark release of the symphony "Giornata In Campagna" (2005) on Fridge Records, followed - that same year - by his third full-length album "L’Eroe Della Notte". But the time was ripe for more ambitious goals, which materialized with the release of his first rock opera, "Il Castello In Mezzo Al Mare" (2007), followed by the album "Il Canto Del Vento" (2008) - featuring prestigious guest performances by Angapiemage Persico, Stefano Tessadri, [a=Ubi Maior]'s rhythm section, 'The Real', and [a=Stefano Tamiazzo]. In the following couple of years, he brought to completion an out-and-out trilogy by releasing two more rock operas, "Il Rovescio Della Medaglia" (2009) and "La Sottile Linea" (2010). As a fringe activity - from 2003 to date - he's been creating commercial jingles, soundtracks and scores for several production studios and, more recently, for the online soundtrack and advertising music library "Unusual Library". Marco's later projects include the re-recording of "Giornata In Campagna" (2011) - with the support of a bunch of talented classical music performers -, and his new album "Epica" (2012), available for download from iTunes Store and other online digital music stores. |

Huey's style and versatility within his lyrics have sent him at a high bar, with his music mostly covering his political beliefs as an anarchist to slandering the government with his dystopian scope throughout his music or telling a tale whether that be through his Kyzerhead alter-ego. His rough and bohemian way of production is credited with being unique and very ahead of its time and being able to complete his abrasive lyricism. During his lifetime, he as always strived towards music as a way to cope with his rampant mental issues that have troubled him throughout his school years. He forms 1/2 of the rap super duo, 4Negative, alongside fellow MC-rapper/producer and producer, [a=Tyze Nitro]. He also signed to Tyze Nitro's label, [l=Tixplosive* Recordings]. Huey started off as Instant Prime in 2019 before going though several name changes before landing on Huey Evergreen. |

| Search | Add | 5 | ZimNovich | Ilya Zimnovich & Milla Zimnovich | ZimNovich are a record production duo, composed of siblings Ilya Zimnovich and Milla Zimnovich. They started their first music experiments in the late 1990s with IBM PC and music trackers, following psychedelic trance tunes of X-Dream and Astral Projection, and then rave and breakbeat tunes of the Prodigy and the Chemical Brothers. About 7 singles were locally released during their first collaboration, the Miracle. One of the singles, entitled "Stella", was licensed to Paragon Software Group for their Palm PDA computer game. The other single "Thunder" was an experiment of electronica dark wave and alternative rock. The song was very famous locally in their hometown and was performed live at local festivals. Then, following success of Incognito, De-Phazz, LTJ Bukem, and Miguel Migs they switched to making lounge and acid jazz music. The Ez Presso band was born. They performed their 8 singles at Sensomusic 2006 lounge music festival. In 2014 they returned back to an electronic roots. Now they have finally found their very own distinctive sound with ZimNovich. Their current genre is a mixture of New Beat, Techno, Electroclash and Neo EBM. They also work in different styles like Synth-pop, Alternative Rock, Trap, Hip-Hop, Industrial, Dark Wave, IDM, EDM and Dubstep. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Fillmore King | Fillmore King has built a life long career in music. His roots go back to the early days in Tobago when, as a youngster, he took the town by storm, performing live on stage, radio and television. At the tender age of ten, he showed the promise of a gifted singer and musician. He first began performing with his sister. The duo soon became a family foursome when they were joined by two of their siblings. Fillmore starred in the weekly "Phil Swing King Show" which was, without doubt, the hottest live show around. Fillmore performed live at Queen's Hall, the equivalent of Carnegie Hall, in Port of Spain, Trinidad. He formed a group called Phil King and the Swing Pins and they performed for local audiences. He then became a member of the popular group known as The Strollers. Their performances of R&B and the popular tunes of the day were in demand throughout the Caribbean, where they toured extensively. Fillmore moved to Canada in his early twenties and in no time, became a member of a group. This led him to other groups and subsequently to form several groups of his own. His repertoire spanned a vast array of styles from R&B, calypso/soca and pop. Accompanied by his musicians, he toured throughout Canada and became a favorite on the dance scene. Fillmore was a featured performer on the well-known television extravaganza "The Telethon of Stars". In addition to his performing career, Fillmore made time to study radio and television broadcasting at the National Institute of Broadcasting. Fillmore recorded the theme song for "Spaced Out", an animated cartoon video for children. He has recorded radio commercials. Fillmore combines a hard soulful vocal style with melodic harmony and solid music to produce a sound performance that is both energetic and passionate. In addition to his talent as a vocalist, Fillmore is an accomplished musician who plays a number of instruments. | Search | Add | 5 | Overthought | Overthought is an electro/acoustic Rock duo from Pavullo nel Frignano, near Modena. Born in October 2016 the band is formed by Michele Magnani (voice, guitar) and Przemek Werbik (bass). Their musical references range from Ben Howard, to Stu Larsen and Passenger (among the others), but these young musicians’ background goes back to the 90s, to the Seattle grunge scene. This reflects directly on their instrumental and compositional approach. The straightforward songwriting and guitar playing -which lets the bass free to explore- give birth to an easy-listening, yet detailed sound. In 2020 they publish their self-titled album, recorded at All Right Riserva studio, produced by Achille Caifa for Yoloco Music inc. and published by All Right Riserva Recordz. | |

With just one EP released on No Tomorrow Records in 1998, The Budweisers from Asturias (Spain) were a very short-lived band (wrongly considered a parallel act of The Feedbacks, with whom they shared 2 band members) but have however remained favorites among the 90’s punkpop lovers crew. Fast forward 20 years and they’re back as if only 5 minutes had passed, delivering a second EP that sounds just as if it had been recorded a week after their now classic “My Girlfriend’s A Bonehead”. 4 solid gold melodic punkrock tracks just as perfect and sticky as you might wish. | |
