Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | Sean Folsom | Sean Folsom was born in Berkeley, California, in 1949. He studied clarinet and saxophone in high school. In the mid-sixties, he learned how to play the oboe, the flute and the guitar, with which he performed in a baroque ensemble and in jazz and rock'n'roll groups. His love of traditional folk music led him to the Scottish bagpipes in 1969-70 and to England, Scotland and Ireland. Later on he discovered the Northumbrian and Irish bagpipes, in 1973. Since then he has collected more than 30 bagpipes (all of which he plays) from Europe and the Middle East. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Macgaren | Gabriel | With a strong influence of some of the pioneering genres of electronic dance music, The House music, this new artist believes that his inspirations arise not only from legacy of artists from the past, but also from movies, books and people who are part of his life trajectory. On his latest productions Macgaren brings with himself a contemporary approach to House Music, uniting the traditional lease of tones and vocals, with new harmonies, basslines and melodies that transcend between the genres, leading the listener to an imaginary journey between Chicago, Detroit and Berlim. Experienced Music Producer, was recorded and produced other artists in his studio, working tirelessly on his new timbers, melodies and arrangements to become his sonority increasingly unique and striking. New insights, hypnotic grooves and great mobility on the dance floor is what everyone waiting in he new performances. Sincerity with his essence, respect with the felling of dance floor and humility on his walking are one of his best features. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Solki | Solki are Serena Altavilla (the voice + guitar), Lorenzo Maffucci (turquoise guitar) and Alessandro Gambassi (kick, snare & hi-hat). The band members started the band together after playing hundreds of shows with other acts such as Blue Willa and Topsy The Great, with whom they’ve been hitting clubs and festivals such as Primavera Sound (ES), Reeperbahn (D), Elevate (A), Monkey Week (ES). Their music has been described as both fierce and dreamy, sensuous and warm, with strong melodies hidden behind a textile of dissonances and vice versa. Playing together in the China-tinged outskirts of Prato - dubbed “the Italian Manchester” - since 2014, Solki released their first album “Sleeper Grele” in October 2014, also debuting the underground label Ibexhouse. The album was tracked down on a single afternoon in the late summer with cheap mikes and a four-track tape recorder. After an early run of CD-Rs and cassettes, the album was reprinted on 12'' vinyl by the label Ibexhouse cooperating with Swiss DIY label Sacred Hood and Italian fellows Santa Valvola, nevrosi and Astio Collettivo. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | OPTMS | Beatmaker with a deep passion for banging drums, groan synths, and raffish samples. Originally a Drummer and Turntablist since the late 90s, Optms blends his love for the unconventional sound without any genre boundaries. Born in mid 80s Yugoslavia and growing up in Bremen (Germany), Optms began playing drums at a young age. Making his first attempts on DAW in the late 90s and mind blown by the sounds of scratching, he discovered turntablism. 5 years of bedroom deejaying, making a few mixtapes under different monikers and experiencing first club gigs, it was in 2004, where Optms entered his first DJ-Competition, organized by Pro-Zeiko in Berlin. Later that Year, he took the opportunity to participate at the I.T.F. DJ-Battle. Stats: 2004: Kurt Lade Klub DJ-Battle Berlin / 3rd place. 2004: I.T.F. Hamburg Heats / 4th place. 2004: I.T.F. German Finals Scratch Category / 6th place. 2005: I.T.F. Hanover Heats / 3rd place. 2009: Wizard of Ahh #3 / 3rd place. 2010: Red Bull "Hit the Wax" / 2nd place. While still producing music beside his DJ stuff, it was at that time in 2010 to release his first EP "Blanes Beach Memoirs". In 2011, french label Vaatican Records (i.a. 1000names, Vlooper) re-released his "Electro-Cution EP", followed by the "Digital Cocadisco EP", released by italian label Pitjamajusto (i.a. Digi). Optms moved to Munich and came in touch with Jay Scarlett, DJ Explizit, Sepalot, Kuchen George, Deckpackers (Aspect, Snatchatec) & Highenders (Len Beam, Sixkay) which brought huge support on his live gigs, radio plays, etc. Optms released more music via miscellaneous labels such as Munich based Gold Diggers Records, by Felix Kirner (Pho Queue), Fwonk* (UK) & Subwise (Russia, i.a. 813) Over the years Optms supported the likes of Kaytranada, Afu-Ra, Rah Digga, Johnsen and shared stages with Homeboy Sandman, Scntst, Alec Empire, Erobique, Blade (Marc B. & Blade), Pfel (C2C), Fatoni, Hgich.T, Roger Rekless, The Analog Roland Orchestra, Danny Scrilla, Krts, Taprik Sweeze, Comfort Fit, Marc Hype, Kid Fresh, Rafik, Rasgunyado, B-Ju, Unkut, AKD, EVL NDL and many more. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Marcin Ciszek | Marcin Ciszek | Marcin Ciszek is a Polish writer, experimental musician, and video artist currently based in Edinburgh. His music draws from avant-garde and noise traditions, embracing a raw DIY ethos that values process over polish. Using field recordings, processed guitar, voice, and found objects, he crafts immersive soundscapes that blur the line between composition and noise. Albums like Nine Tracks About Peace of Mind, Echo of an Encounter, and Ballad of Limitations and Self-Conviction reflect his interest in emotional tension, memory, and sonic deconstruction. His work has appeared in underground festivals, art galleries, and experimental film soundtracks around the world. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Agni Avshar | Agni Avshar, born on 6 July 1988 in Skopje, expressed her talent for and fondness of music at the age of 7, which was the primary reason why her mother enrolled her in the elementary music school ‘Ilija Nikolovski – Luj” in Skopje. There, for 8 years she studied playing the piano, solfege and music theory, which brought about her love for singing. As early as that age she manifested an exceptional music talent and an extraordinarily developed sense of hearing. Her first contact with a wide audience and performances at music events were her participations in piano recitals and competitions, where she appeared on her piano teacher Karmen Kostova’s insistence, which was grounded on her student’s high music potential and charismatic stage appearance. At the age of 20, in 2009, she founded a band with which she locally performed music of pop and rock genres, thus acquiring great experience in stage and vocal performance. In the meantime, she completed her studies at the Faculty of Philology in Skopje, the department for translating and interpreting English, French and Portuguese language. Having graduated, she involved herself still more actively in music-related engagements, and in 2016 she joined the Macedonian – Roma, folklore – jazz chamber ensemble upon request of Srdzan Amet. After 4 weeks of intensive rehearsals, they set off on a one-month tour to Antwerp, Belgium, where they had several concerts in Neuchateau, Antwerp and in Brussels. Upon completion of this project, Agni decided to enroll in the Musical Academy in Skopje, the department for Jazz and Popular genres, with her major being solo singing. As early as her first year of studies, her talent was noticed by her professors, and they engaged her to perform with them, where she gained most of her experience in performing on jazz gigs. In June 2019 she graduated from the Musical Academy with a grade average of 9,8. She is mostly known for her powerful yet sensual vocals, her affinity towards reviving the jazz standards from the great American Songbook, as well as jazzing up evergreens and contemporary pop music. On 8 October 2021 she releases her debut single “Soznavam” which encompasses scat vocalization. The music was written by Nikola Micevski and the lyrics by both Beti Jankovikj and Renata Kralevska. | |
