Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Vukašin Đelić | An interest in exploring different sound worlds has always run through the music of Serbian guitarist Vukašin Đelić. His creative process has gone through various phases, starting from early 2000’s where he approached the guitar as a receiver, much like a radio. Using objects and devices such as mobile phones, diskmans, media players, computer equipment and other battery powered utilities, he composed music based almost solely on these frequencies and interferrences. The results were recordings, that he released under the name WoO, during the period between 2006 and 2012. During that time, he played numerous concerts around Europe and USA, along with visual artist Incredible Bob. Their A/V shows were famous for using analog and then later digital video feedback and organic electronic music to create mesmerizing, dreamy audio visual psychedelia. After those six years, his focus has shifted towards improvisational methodologies and collaborations with various musicians. His group Belgrade Noise was exclusively improvised and dedicated their existence to invite different musicians to collaborate on a material that would be performed in concerts around the region and Europe. He was part of ImprovE collective that organized montly events of improvised music. In 2016. he formed Dol, a band inspired by road movies, travel literature, early blues and folk music but also by motorik beats and swirling sounds and melodies. Vukašin also plays in Limbo Lighting, duo inspired by minimalism, kosmiche and tribal music, with sound artist Marko Paunović who plays tape reels, synths and harmonium. His great love for spiritual and free jazz has channeled in his trio called Katastar, where besides him, on drums is Marko Stričević ( Dzezbollah ) and on upper bass and saxophone Tomislav Marjanović ( Crno Dete, Cyclist Conspiracy ). In his solo works, all these worlds often collide and become something new. Either playing guitar and drums or exploring the wild side of samplers and synths, his music flows through all these different fields and spaces. In 2020, he released a record U Zavisnosti Od Dana, which is his first album under his own name. | |

At the age of 16, he joined the music club of the Bonabéri high school where in 1984 he won the prize for “~Best School Singer~” awarded by Joe Mboulé, the great Cameroonian star of the moment. | Search | Add | 2 | Machtenzym | The energetic duo MachtEnzym has been around for quite some time evolving from the depths of Dresden’s always growing electronic music scene. They both gained massive respect and enthusiasm when playing live so it’s really no wonder the partycrowd goes wild after their unique and blending mixture of live drums (Matthias Macht) and the utterly experimental and crackling live electronics (Enzym). Razorsharp, versatile and non-standard drum patterns as both musicians play their instruments efficent with total control over the buttons and still they have enough room to improvise proved by the fact they come up with an entirely new set for every single show. Improvisation seems to be the magic concept behind the professional and stunning live shows they put up while being on stage. MachtEnzym melts together two very varied musicians to one powerful core. Rating: absolutely worth hearing! | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Juan Rolando | John Roland Redd | Juan Rolando was a moniker used for several years by African-American organist, pianist and pioneering television performer John Roland Redd (16 September 1921, St. Louis, Missouri — 2 October 1998, Petaluma, California). He was born in a family of a Baptist pastor, one of seven children, and began playing piano at three, showcasing tremendous natural ability. In 1938, soon after graduating from high school, Redd got his first job at the Central Broadcasting Company in Des Moines, Iowa, but couldn't advance his career facing a commonplace racial discrimination against African-Americans. Since his mother had mixed Anglo and African origins, John had relatively light complexion and straight hair; thus, he decided to pass as Mexican and invented a new artistic alias, "Juan Rolando". In the early 1940s, John moved from the Midwest to California, where two of his older sisters, both singers, had already settled. As Juan Rolando, he was soon hired at KMPC radio station in Los Angeles as an organ accompanist. He was able to join the Musicians' Union, which didn't accept African-American members at the time, thus gaining access to various studio and concert gigs. Juan Rolando had a brief career in the aspiring "cocktail lounge" genre and released several 10" shellac records on a short-lived Californian label [l=Cocktail Hour (2)]; however, Rolando/Redd wasn't able to achieve a major breakthrough. In the late 1940s, now in collaboration with his wife, John Redd invented yet another artistic disguise, this time posing as a mysterious French-Indian musician [a=Korla Pandit]. In June 1948, he was commissioned as "Korla Pandit" to create and perform music for a relaunch of a fantasy horror radio drama Chandu the Magician. In February 1949, Pandit/Redd debuted a solo television program on KTLA, Korla Pandit's Adventures In Music, which became an instant hit and launched a prolific career. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Taylor Made Jazz | Van Taylor Productions Inc Three 2 Go Music Alliance Music On The FrontLines Over 29 years ago, Buffalo Music Hall of Fame inductee Van Taylor had an idea to create a jazz oriented band that could work on various public levels, including education. Van Taylor assembled an array of musicians and world class entertainers. Thus, the journey began. Hundreds of thousands of miles later, and after hundreds of school performances and countless numbers of performances for the troops and for various festivals, this group emerged to set a legacy in motion. Taylor Made Jazz’s dynamic approach and smooth style has made them a hit to every audience they have entertained. Their world travels have taken them to: Japan, Korea, Central and South America, Puerto Rico, Panama, Cuba, Italy, Greece, Spain, Germany, Egypt, Israel, Turkey, Jordan, France, England, various African countries, and more. While signed to Vervendi Universal Music Group, the overwhelming response to their CDs took them to the top of the MP3 Jazz charts in 2003, as noted by Billboard Magazine. Taylor Made Jazz won many awards, including the Diamond Accord Award presented by the International Federation of Festival Organizations F.I.D.O.F. in 1996. They won the top R&B award presented by Night Life Magazine during 1996, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. They also won the People’s Choice Award for Jazz in 2003, 2004 and 2005. Taylor Made Jazz is noted for their work entertaining U.S. troops and allies overseas through Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE), Morale Welfare & Recreation (MWR), and United Servicemen Organization (USO). They also support many charities such as the United Way Canada, Children’s Hospital, United Negro College Fund (UNCF), AIDS research, and United Way Buffalo to name a few. Taylor Made jazz is part of our new initiative Music on the Frontline serving those who serve and paying it forward to continue the next generation of entertainers serving our troops overseas. On July 22, 2003 the common council named that day Taylor Made Jazz day in the city of Buffalo. Today’s crew line-up revolves around: • Vocalists: Joyce Wilson Nixon, Melissa Kate and Joey Diggs • Drummers: Mike Crymes, Tim Webb, • Guitarists: Jeff Nixon, Nelson Thomas and Kenny Hawkins • Bassists: Jerry Livingston, Richie Valentino, Stoney Dixon ,Paul Yates and Jerry Sampson • Brass players: Trumpeter Brian Freeman, Saxophonist Tomoka Nomura Jarvis and Trombonist Bob Miers • Keyboardist: Van Taylor Founder Van Taylor has always had a firm belief in supporting the community from a local scale to a worldwide vision. On April 25, 2007, Taylor Made Jazz celebrated their 20th Anniversary. The proceeds benefited National Inner Cities Youth Opportunities (NICYO) and Student Against Violence Education (S.A.V.E). The group’s current global project is called “Agape: The Hunger Project”. Proceeds from their compilation CD, “Agape: The Hunger Project”, benefit the global organization The Hunger Project, which supports the education of people to learn to feed themselves and improve overall life conditions on their own through education. More info on The Hunger Project can be found at www.thp.org. Taylor Made Jazz supported the Food Bank of Western New York through their “Concert from the Heart” performances with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra in 2009 and 2010 at Kleinhans Music Hall.
