Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Curbeaters | CURBEATERS are/were kind of like “the father you never saw and didn't know was there, but suddenly he knocks at your door“. At least that's kind of like the case to well-known German acts BLACK SHAPE OF NEXUS, IRA , PLANKS and ULTHA. Band from Köln, Mannheim, Konstanz, Friedrichshafen, Germany The history: In 2002 all members of the project spent a lot of time on a German message board for underground DIY punk/hardcore/metal and they mutually knew each other from shows and festivals. Several ideas for projects were founded by members of that board – non ever really gave birth to a record. Tom, Andy and Geb met for one weekend to practice and record a few ideas. Ralph was supposed to play bass but couldn't make it to that weekend. So the remaining members recorded the three tracks on this very record. There was never another proper rehearsal or plans to commence the band, but the instrumental tracks made their way through various channels and always got great feedback. The originally intended singer never made it to record vocals, so the whole thing just kind of faded to a distant memory and all members went on to play in some of the most well-known acts in German DIY metal/doom. Fast forward to 2016: Andy and Ralph both ended up in Cologne, playing together in a black metal band called Ultha. Andy is a professional recording enginieer and always kept up hope to actually finish the songs at some point. After an intital push by Timo (Golden Antenna Records) a few years back, to have Ralph record the vocals, the idea popped back up in 2016. Andy just opened his Goblin Sound Studio and Ralph is fairly well known for his trademark lyrics and vocal performance in now defunct Golden Antenna Records act Planks. Ralph wrote some lyrics and tried out the vocals – it turned out to be a perfect match for the three doom laden sludgy rock songs. Now hell froze over and Andy's persistance paid off: 'Time Is Unforgiving', a three song EP and the result of more than 15 years in the making. Limited to 300 records on vinyl distributed by the label which played a major part in why this thing came together after all these years. CURBEATERS consisted of TOM (Ex-Ira, Ex-Blindspot aD.) ANDY (Ex-Ira, Ex-Blindspot aD, now Ultha) GEB (Ex-Black Shape Of Nexus) RALPH (Ex-Planks, now Ultha) | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Bayram Krueger | Bayram Krueger | Bayram Krueger, since his birth in 1976 West Berlin (Kreuzberg), Germany, has always been drawn to making music. As a student during the late-80's and early-90's he played drums in the school band. After a hard day of studying and skateboarding he would head to the rehearsal space to pound the skins with friends in a punk-rock band. At this time, he would have never expected the new passions that waited for him just over the horizon... Fast-forward to 1994, which marked his first "Love Parade" attendance, and the development of an addiction to house music in all facets of the genre. A few years of clubbing and dancefloor education ensued. Then, in 1999 he started a job at the Rave Age Recordstore in Berlin, insighting yet another need: to find and collect vinyl. Next came a year of exploring electronic music styles before taking to the tables, performing for the first time as a DJ. He started and ran a weekly electronic night at the bar Ad Libitum (from the Latin for "pleasure") with DJ Emanuell Eisbrenner and in 2000 he began to work for now defunctional EMD (Electronic Music Distribution) as head of distribution, with much success. Between 2000 and 2003 he played in Berlin, in clubs like: Acud, Deli, Sternradio, XS-Club, Kit-Kat Club, Rotor, Cassiopaia, and more. The next three years saw little in the form of music for the budding DJ, but he was unable to stay away for long. In 2006, a new interest in minimal led to the start of producing his own tracks. Since 2010 he has been publishing tracks on his Soundcloud page. Creating an electronic sound that mirrors the world around him, Bayram's music breathes the city of Berlin. A city that has been influenced uniquely by the two dominant world cultures in modern society. Like the popular names that came before him; Kraftwerk, honing the tones of Dussledorf, Ritchie Hawtin fine-tuning the Detroit Techno sound, or even the classical sequencing of American composers Steve Reich and Terry Riley, who paved the way for the American and German Minimal Club sounds, Bayram Krueger is of the past, and the present, but most importantly the future. Will humanity ever enter the far reaches of space? Can we come together as one? Bayram Krueger's music lets us know surely, yes, we will, if we haven't already. All you need to do is listen with your whole being, and you will believe anything is possible. |

The duo was composed of lead vocalist, percussionist Christina Cáceres, who was formerly known as a Salsa music artist; and bass guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer Lesly Kühr, who worked as an in-demand session musician/engineer and touring bassist for bands such as Zuco 103 before he founded Leilolai together with Christina. | Search | Add | 2 | Beat for sale | BEAT FOR SALE is half way between Kraut Pop and Analogical Electro. An unlikely musical recipe made of a spoonful of analogical synthesizer, a mixt of hip hop beat, a pinch of saturation, an aftertaste of cold wave. The whole spiced up with syncopated chanted words. It has to be tried and tasted; one has to grab hold of it, savour slowly its rhythm. This alchemy takes full power on stage. With its experience of sets, The Metz’s trio pretty appreciates this performance. BEAT FOR SALE is a hybrid recipe which comes directly from a diversified musical syncretism. It would be like mixing up Peached, DJ Premier and Krafwerk in a magic box and see what comes out. Long live the magic trio.

| Search | Add | 2 | Міко | Михайло Ковальчук | Mykhaylo Kovalchuk was a Ukrainian virtuoso classical guitarist (1963–2002). His only released albums, the cassette "Hidden by the Curtain" and the CD "Міко" featured his Flamenco guitar and Latin jazz compositions. Mykhaylo Kovalchuk was born in Lvlv (Ukraine) on 3 July 1963. His father was born on the border between France and Spain, which is where Mykhaylo got his first influences from Latin forms of music. His first involvement with music began as a child studying violin. Mykhaylo didn't like the instrument and gave it up for playing the guitar. He was a self taught player and after seeing a concert of Paco de Lucia decided that the style of Flamenco was the direction he would take. His understanding and knowledge of Flamenco came strictly from listening to popular flamenco artists works since guitar teachers and other player in that style of music didn't exist in the country. His early performances were with Ukrainian bands playing progressive rock and Latin jazz but it wasn't fulfilling, so he broke into a solo career concentrating on original compositions. His performances took him to concerts and festivals all over Eastern Europe Mykhaylo's first recordings "Hidden by the Curtain" on cassette was released in 1997 while he was touring in Prague. In the following year he had sold 7000 cassette tapes. After his return to Ukraine, Kyv's national TV studio produced a music video called "Wind under the sea" which was aired on all Ukrainian and Prague stations for 3 months. In Ukraine Mykhaylo was the only acoustic guitarist that wrote and performed music in this style. He spent approximately 6 months playing a duet with a flamingo dancer in a Latin club. Mikhailo also established his respect in front of other international guitarists by being a prizewinner of numerous festivals all over Europe. In 1998 Mykhaylo had moved to Prague where he concentrated on writing new compositions and performing locally. He lived in Prague for 2 years and during those years Prague records were considering signing Mykhaylo to a record deal and as a result he recorded material for two new CDs. Due to unfortunate circumstances Mikhailo developed problems with his right hand after being attacked just before a festival and had to return home to Lviv where his hand was operated on three times. For 2 years Mykhaylo could not play his instrument falling into a deep depression which led him to drinking. He started playing once more, playing at smaller venues, building up his hand to be able to perform for larger audiences in larger venues. Unfortunately Mykhaylo Kovalchuk never reached these goals and he died on 12 November 2002. Mikhailo Kovalchuk once said: "This burning style full of fire and eruption is mine. It can also be melancholic, yet wildly lyrical. A fusion of psychological and flamenco entwined in thoughts, jazz and silence — though within the silence there is still such boldness". |

| Search | Add | 2 | Reuven Gadoluv | ראובן גדולוב | For Reuven Gadoluv - a dentist by profession, music is part of his DNA. Over the years Reuven wrote and created music. Now, when he feels the most ready, the album "Tipul Shoresh" is released. Along with Gadoluv's strong and kicking rock style, you can also hear in the album rock with touches of opera and dark rock combined with synthesizers. Those combinations of unique musical elements plus texts taken from the experience and maturity of Gadolov's life create a dark and gloomy album, but at the same time, one that radiates optimism. In the album you can also find an amazing collaboration with the rock legend Danny Shushan (The Churchills). |
