Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Mordum Terrorist | "Ever felt at peace with the clanging sound throbbing against your head? The music fades away to senseless, monotonous pandemonium. You risk going deaf, but you only live this life once despite having just a single pair of ears. You decide to allow a few more minutes of this mayhem and then you decide to surrender. Inspiration suddenly seems more important than preserving sanctity or sanity. Rationalization flies into dead oblivion as you are born again; in the same body, but with a different mind. They called rock 'the music of the devil', little realizing that all humans are inherently Satanic as they are divine. The same people that loved wars, manipulation and all that jazz! Maybe they were right; but in being right they neglected their deep yearning for chaos. The kind that appears to be premeditated and synchronized and is still beyond control. The love for chaos is a necessity. Without chaos, we tend to undermine the need for its less-conceited better half - peace. Yet chaos remains the evil twin, the neglected sheep(I have issues with the term 'black sheep'), like Cain, the cursed one. Again, Cain existed so that Able would be favoured. I don't love chaos. I merely respect it." | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Alfonso Caballeros | Alfonso Caballeros | Alfonso José Caballeros Solares, a DJ and music producer who has collaborated with Lazy Soul, Schalldeluxe, Aereotek, Creptonite, Egothermia, Black Drop and Fierce Animal records. His interest in electronic music genre began when he was thrilled by the electronic sounds and synthesized melodies of L'Amour Toujurs album. His firsts approaches with the local scene were given through national radio shows and in parties from the music collective Musica 502. As an artist he makes progressive house, techno, ambient, chillout and lounge genres. His firsts music influences were Stephane K, Superchumbo, Sergio Argueta, Azzido da Bass, Trancesetters, and Lee Burridge among others. Nowadays some of his favorite artists are Jay Lumen, Bas Albers, Ramiro Puente, Agent Orange, DJ Dextro, Rolando Hodar, Kostas Maskalides, Chicago Loop, Phutek, and Chris Craig. He has been on stage with Carlos Valdez, Guillermo Porras, Token Selekta, Gabriel Cazali, Dub Selector, Junglist Selektor, Badi Yalid, Rod V, Mr. Warpaint, Lainfiesta, Diego Pleitez, and Alejandro Rivera. For Alfonso "the local scene has had an important output since 2009. Several genres have become public and the lists of DJs and producers have become longer. Among them there are artists who have signed in various important foreign labels and the have known how to stay Guatemala afloat in the global scene. More support from promoters is needed in order to give a chance to the new artists who get into the scene; keeping a filter so the quality that's handled doesn't decrease. As a negative side there are more opportunities to close friendships, so this doesn't allow talented people to get known in the field. Guatemala has won a good position as one of the most prolific and important scenes in the Central American region." Alfonso recommends us the following local artists: Gabriel Cazali, Mncve, Alejandro Rivera, Wuillermo Tuff, Rod V, Lujo Prado, and Token Selekta. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Imago Mortis Photography | Sean M. Palfrey | “Classy Occultism” – Terrorizer Magazine, Sept 2008 Sean M. Palfrey (°1986, Detmold, Germany) AKA Imago Mortis makes photos, films, mixed media artworks and sculpture. By referencing the traditions of alchemy and the occult, surrealism, gothic romanticism, grand-guignolesque black humour, and symbolism, Palfrey creates his work through experimental and often labour-intensive processes which can be seen explicitly as a personal exorcism ritual. With the motto “Art is Dead | Death is Art” Palfrey distils the macabre traditions of fine art found in the surrealists, dada, romantics, pre-Raphaelites, and medieval eras to create dark conceptual photography and films; utilising elements such as infra-red, low-key lighting, long-exposures, double exposures, and traditional analog methods. Palfrey also creates alchemy and occult inspired paintings as well as sculptural taxidermy through the crystallisation and oxidisation of skulls, bones and shells. Sean M. Palfrey currently lives and works in Lincoln, UK and is available for selected commissions. Biography graciously provided by Mr. Corbin Grimm (2017) |

It traces its roots in December of 1991 when a group of musicians started to schedule concerts in their spare time and receiving for that a formal appreciation by the Minister of the Culture of the Republic of Latvia, composer Raimonds Pauls. On January 3rd of 1992 — also in order to substitute the old Band of the Baltic Military District (Baltijas kara apgabala štāba pūtēju orķestris) that was a Military Band of the Soviet Army then stationed in Latvia — the orchestra began to work officially as the Orchestra of the Latvian National Armed Forces. Its first CD "Latvijas Republikas Nacionālo bruņoto spēku Ceremoniju mūzika" was released on February 15th of 1999; the second CD "Impresijas" had been released in 2001 and the third CD "Dziesmu Saule" has been released on June 2007. The Orchestra of the Latvian National Armed Forces participates into many International Military Festivals in many countries such as Austria, Belgium, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The orchestra performs at all official state ceremonies and protocol events for foreign diplomats. |

| Search | Add | 4 | كمال مسلم | Kamal Musallam | Born in Kuwait on June 8 1970, from very artistic parents, Kamal showed unique talents for drawing and playing music from the early age of 3. He started learning guitar at the age of 9 but took it more seriously when he was 17. Kamal was educated as architect and has went through various musical experiences throughout his young age and college times; of which were Arabic bands, Flamenco, Rock and Blues bands. Late 80's to early 90's, he started discovering more of Jazz sounds and got to know Pat Metheny, Miles Davis, George Benson, John McLaughlin, Al Di Meola, among many others. In 1994 he moved to France, where he experienced another true musical atmosphere for four years, attending festivals and concerts in both France and Switzerland. He met artists from all over Europe and the world. There he created a more obvious interest for jazz, and developed his playing style. In 1997 he moved back for one year in Lebanon to work as architect; during which he met Ziad Rahbani and started to be a part of his ensemble. There he was convinced his real passion was music and nothing but that, and had to make a serious decision about his career, either to be an architect or a musician, and he chose to explore the musical world. That decision demanded a second trip to France to explore more into the core of the music industry. Kamal’s final return to settle in Jordan, led him to establish his own label K&G and to produce his first album ON A JORDAN RIVER’S SIDE, 2003. It was followed by Out Of MY CITY, 2008, LULU, 2009, SONGS FOR SEUNG-EUN, 2011, THE BEST OF KAMAL MUSALLAM, 2012, HOMEMADE IN ROME, 2014, and WORLD PEACE TRIO, 2017 and HANDMADE IN HUMMUS, 2020. A new collaboration with Billy Cobham, Kai Eckhardt and Gary Husband, among others, is still in production process and falls under the new project entitled "EastMania", expected to be released in 2022. Kamal is settled in Dubai since 2002, active locally and internationally as performer and producer. His main touring bands are Kamal Musallam Trio, Lulu Project, and EastMania. Other collaborations perform occasionally as World Peace Trio, with Gilad Atzmon and Dwiki Dharmawan, and Sea Of Strings, with Dominic Miller (longtime STING's right hand), and Jason Carter. Musallam is currently playing the nylon Silent guitar™ and the newly developed Trans-Acoustic models by YAMAHA, the electric Multi-Oud by GODIN. In 2017, he had developed with IBANEZ his signature guitar models, the electric KMM1 and the nylon fretless KMA1 both released in 2010, and later the high end electric model KMM100 released in 2014, all with a dedicated “quarter tones” playing facility, opening new horizons for guitarists to experiment with additional sounds non existing on standard guitars. Kamal played along with: STING, George Benson, Billy Cobham, Bobby McFerrin, Bob Franceschini, Randy Brecker, Ada Rovatti, Stanely Jordan, Ranjit Barot, Anne Ducros, Dwiki Dharmawan, Andy Suzuki, David Reinhardt, Jorge Pardo (Paco De Lucia Sextet), Francisco Molina, Israel Varela, Volker Schlott, and many others. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Wilson Danilo | Wilson Danilo Medeiros de Jesus | Wilson Danilo Medeiros de Jesus, or simply Wilson Danilo, Born in Salvador, Bahia, died in 2013, on the eve of his 100th birthday, he was a radio / announcer, presenter, singer and composer. Owner of an extensive and accurate vocabulary, besides the powerful voice, he began his career in 1942, in Rio de Janeiro, as speaker of the speaker system known at the time as "bell mouth". At this same period he recorded his first work as a singer. A 78 rpm disc with the songs "A Canção de Friburgo (The Song of Friburgo)", of Antônio Caetano, and "Palhaço da Vida (Life's Clown) ", of César Cruz. Since then, he recorded several discs, among 78 rotations, singles, double singles and CDs. Danilo played tangos, boleros and MPB classics with impressive mastery. He alone gave the impression that there was an orchestra on the stage. In 1957, the illustrious character moved to Governador Valadares, in the eastern part of Minas Gerais, where he worked on "Mundo Melhor", "Educadora" and "Ibituruna" (the only three AM stations in the city at the time). In these radio stations, nowadays practically dead, Danilo did everything: he was a helper, a janitor, a sound engineer, an advertising salesman, a presenter and a director. In his popular program, he had one of the largest audiences ever in the region. He began the presentation of the hour with phrases and verses of his own. Something like: "Beautiful girl / from my city / my love for you / I want your happiness / my love / my good will ...". In the early sixties he recorded in a compact of 78 rotations the Afro drum "Só o ôme", written by the Bahia composer Edenal Rodrigues, also played by Noriel Vilella, from the legendary group Nilo Amaro & the Ebony Singers. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Self Torture | Hardcore/Death Metal band from Ankara, Turkey. Split-up in 2012. The Ankara/Turkey based Selftorture has been an island representing a bridge between the realms of hardcore and death-metal in their home country for 10 years now. Through determination and steady progress the band has managed to combine and blend their influences to suit their evolving musical direction within the two genres. Listeners are offered a thunderous sound resembling a whirling storm of aggression sweeping up and down the Eastern Coast of North America with the band’s unique elements bolting through. Their straight forward and sometimes poetic to sarcastic lyrics are aimed directly at the developing individual ready to question themselves and the surrounding others giving no voice to anything that falls under any ideology. To experience them live is an experience all its own, intensifying what they’ve already offered on record – neck breaking grinding speed to heavy low hitting breakdowns that flow back to back. As a result of their productiveness and solid performances through the years, Selftorture has earned and remained a very familiar name in Turkey’s deep extreme underground. The decision of putting together Selftorture was made in early ‘99 and by the end of year the band had enough songs to play small sets only as a project band, due to the fact that each member was already involved in other fulltime bands (ranging from thrash, hardcore, death-metal,and black-metal). However, once they played their first official show in 2000,the interest and positive feedback they received turned the band into afulltime band immediately. The band moved on to playing more club venues and festivals nationally [Rock The Nations Open Air Festival: Caliban, Cenotaph(TR), Amon Amarth, etc… / Rock Republic Open Air Fest: Slayer, In Flames, Sick Of It All,etc...] and record three releases: “Mislead” EP/2002 (Zoo Sound); “Person-A”FL/2004 (Zoo Sound); “Dead Center” FL/2006 (Anger Epidemic). 2006 was a major turning point for the group. The rhythm section parted ways leaving front man Mehmet and guitarist Cenker the responsibility to refocus and continue the band that was now their center of attention. They wrote new material while in search for new members and a record label. Early in this process close friend Semih Ornek stepped up to fill the drummer position full time. The trio started practicing and fine tuning the songs. After observing their progress at a jam session the representatives of the label Anger Epidemic Records approached the band with an offer. The band was honored by Anger’s close interest and agreed to cooperate almost immediately. Once the tracks of the 3rd legal release were finished the band approached long time friend and supporter Engin Kamarot to complete the lineup. Since then, Selftorture has continued to play shows and complete their 4th effort entitled “Tried and True”. They have not come to an agreement with a new label yet so no release has not been confirmed. The band plans to keep playing local and national shows with the intention of making some tours abroad a reality..... Recent Line Up: Mehmet Stevenson: Vocals Cenker Yılmaz: Guitars Engin Kamarot: Bass Semih Örnek: Drums | |

Between his two stints as boxing champion, Samart signed with a Grammy winning label and released three albums. They are pop music but with his upcountry accent ('"Ner" เหน่อ) as opposed to central Thailand accent. His first album, Peedongmembur. His second and third album, Arom Dee (อารมณ์ดี) and Kun Mai Kun Mike (คันไม้คันไมค์) followed in 1990 and 1992 with famous songs Nam Plik Pla Too (น้ำพริกปลาทู) and Kao Ao Eng (เกาเอาเอง) respectively.[1] After the three albums, he went back to boxing. |

| Search | Add | 4 | KUT Goldcard | Katsuyuki Hosoda | Japanese House DJ/producer from Tokyo. Kut started out in Tokyo spinning parties around 1989. Soon he purchased his first sampler and began making tracks on his own in the early 90's. Shortly thereafter, he quit DJing in favor of production. From 1994-1998 he spent time in various US cities. He absorbed the vibes and techniques there from many US studios including NY's D&D Studios. After coming back to Japan, Kut dropped out of production for a few years. This didn't last long as the music called him back. [l=Elephanthaus]/[l=Real Estate Records] owner [a=Tim Baker] discovered Kut and signed him for 3 EP's. Unlike many Japanese artists, Kut soon aimed to focus on the international game. New York's [l=4th Floor Records] quickly signed him for "Kut Presents Hot for Love". These disco flavored cuts quickly found their way into playlists, charts and record bags of many DJ's all over the world. At the same time, Kut started focusing on Europe and was immediately picked up for several EP's and put on remix duty on such labels as [l=Bush] (UK) and [l=Oxyd Records] (Italy). Delving headfirst in a new direction (Techno and Tech-House) Kut's remix for [a=DJ Kruze]'s "Let Me In" on [l=Bush] ended up on [a=Carl Cox]'s Live 2nd Session – Area 2, Detroit. His 2003 R.I.C.H. EP on the US's biggest Tech-House label [l=Big Chief] rocked clubs internationally and was bagged and charted by a myriad of high profile DJ's over the world. In 2004, [a=Seishi Ono] & [a=Kut Goldcard]'s Plug 1 EP was cained by hundreds of DJ's including [a=Carl Cox]. 2005 saw remixes on [l=Toolroom Trax] (UK) and [l=Brickhouse] (Germany). Recently he was signed to United Nation of House on [l=C2 Records (UK) / CR2 Records (UK)]. |

A dabbler in any artistic medium, 'The Half Artist's' eventual manifestation came after many names and many years of obsessively writing and recording half finished songs, sketches, poems and projects. As his writing became more intricate and experimental, and less to the formula of songwriting, he soon found a new intriguing unknown where he could further grow, Poetry Slamming. This soon lead to the National Poetry Slam state finals, numerous other slam wins and frequent invitations to perform at spoken word events. He is now a well respected something or other in a world where they probably don't even know he makes music. During this flourish of word nerding, he quietly penciled in all nighters and disgusting amounts of persistance to experiment, study and learn the art of Beatmaking, Sampling and Production. For the love of all things soul intertwining and expressive. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Clancy's Clowns | Clancy's Clowns were an American saxophone quintet put together by Lee Gillette of Capitol Records in 1961 and marketed as a kitschy, oddball throwback act. They performed novelty arrangements of ragtime tunes from the 1920's, arranged by Capitol's Sonny Anderson and conducted by Johnny Smith. This group only exists on the 1961 recording Saxophobia, released in mono and stereo editions. Though the cover shows a quintet of sax-toting clowns, these were not the actual players on the album. The Players: Johnny Schmidt - Soprano Ralph Gary - Alto George Smith - Tenor Arthur Smith - Baritone Bill Gross - Bass | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Büchner-Kapelle | German music band founded and directed by [a10529086]. For the orchestra, please use: [a3604659] All information is from the following site (maybe someone can revise my translation errors): https://grammophon-platten.de/page.php?422 "Max Büchner was a trained music teacher and one of the pioneers of gramophone and cylinder recordings. He was one of the most frequently recorded orchestras in the imperial era. He was one of the first to understand how to arrange recordings so that the final product sounded good. Büchner was probably born in Berlin in 1862. His father ran a cloakroom and costume rental shop in town in the 1880s. The son Max Büchner was first listed in the Berlin address book in 1887 - profession: music teacher. It can be assumed that in addition to this activity, he has already directed an orchestra. Unfortunately, the old newspapers from the 19th century rarely mention the name (s) of the Kapellmeister at events. Little is known about Max Büchner's actual professional career. 1901, Büchner then traded as Kapellmeister. Resident at Fürbringerstr. 28. In the meantime, Büchner has bought the parental home. Presumably the mother continues to hire masks and cloakrooms. According to the obituary, Max Büchner made his first (cylinder) recordings in 1898. This was followed by many recordings for the Edison company in Berlin. The musician (including straw violin and glockenspiel) and conductor operated here as the Edison Symphony Orchestra or the Berlin Symphony Orchestra. Some of the recordings on roller were also released in the USA. The first record companies quickly became aware of this "funnel - suitable" orchestra. Many recordings were probably made without naming their names. The "Büchner Orchestra" could also be hiding behind the collective term "orchestra" on recordings from the turn of the century. With increasing popularity, the name Büchner-Orchester, Berlin appears more and more on the labels. The recordings that were made under the direction of Max Büchner must be in the hundreds - possibly even more. The obituary suggests - Max Büchner spent a lot of time in the recording rooms for a wide variety of companies. The well-rehearsed repertoire covered almost the whole range of required music. From light classical music to marches and folk pieces, to antics and cakewalk, there was hardly a musical genre that the Büchner orchestra did not take up. For the busy musician and quasi-king of the Berlin record studios, this secured a good livelihood with a high probability. Perhaps, however, he "took over" himself with all the jobs from the speaking machine industry; Max Büchner died in 1906 at the age of just 44 from complications from a cold." | |
