Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Taming The Outback | Taming The Outback were a three-piece from Southend-on-Sea (Essex, UK) and were ... * Daryl Amos >> Drums * Tony Sampson >> Guitar & Vocals * Jason Sherwin >> Bass (died in 2011) The band were active from 1986 to 1989. While they spent most of their time playing outside of the town itself, they were very much a Southend band and established a large and loyal following all across the UK. The original three members formed after criss-crossing each other’s musical paths in South East Essex in the early 1980s. Melbourne-born drummer Daryl Amos and bass player Jason Sherwin first played together in local band A Wreath For Brezhnev, later meeting-up with guitarist/singer Tony Sampson, who was then playing in the band Playground, to form Taming The Outback – a band characterized by an aggressive, driven, rhythm section, strong self-penned songs with a rich, echo-saturated wall-of-sound guitar. Taming The Outback soon began recording at Elephant Studios in East London, where they recorded their debut single Blue Heart / Fire & Smoke – now a minor rarity due to limited distribution and a tiny pressing of 500 copies. However, their public profile rapidly changed when the band attracted local and national press attention with their infamous “crucifixion” publicity shoot – taken (without permission) on Salvation Army land. At the time it was claimed to be in protest over “religious hypocrisy” and “obscenity of ownership of vast tracts of land in the hands of the churches.” It was, of course, pure coincidence that the band were also preparing for a second single: Eight-Hour King / Crack In Your Brain. The image found itself splashed over the local newspaper, The Evening Echo, accompanied by headlines screaming “Blasphemous!”, “Sick!” and a multitude of complaints by local Christian groups. Soon after, national UK tabloids picked up on the story. Whether or not it was a cheap publicity stunt, atheistic protest or a work of art is still a subject of debate among those who remember it. Nevertheless, the punk and post-punk generation always regarded religious, political and other national institutions as legitimate targets for comment. Playing live became a primary focus for the band but the endless gigging, drinking and the failure to release the aforementioned second single and the LP (already recorded) probably marked the beginning of the end of the band. Taming The Outback itself played their last gigs in 1989 with the aggression being turned inwards between personnel and instruments. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Curtis Dublin | Curtis Dublin (March 9, 1927 – December 29, 1964), was a gospel pianist. He joined [a2203163] group in 1947 when he was 19 years old. He also served in the United States armed forces as a PFC Officer in World War II. Although he had known the young blood Davis sisters for years, it was speculated that he was a distant cousin. He played piano with a strong jazz, bouncy rag-time influence which many early church-goers were slow to accept as religious music in the very early 1950s. He lived on the second floor of the Davis family home in Philadelphia where he also died from a heart attack. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Fabulous Studio Band | In 1953 Musical Director Frank "Buck" Shaffer moved to Porterville, CA and formed The Fabulous Studio Band of about 20 students from both the Porterville High School and the Porterville Community College. The second studio band of its kind in California, FSB went on to play around the world in many famous venues throughout decades. Their third album "Have Band Will Travel" released in 1963(?) is a compilation from the bands songs after being sent on tour to play for GIs in Japan, Okinawa, Korea, and Hawaii. According to buckshaffer.com, "the tour lasted six weeks and the Band appeared on Nippon TV and did a Far East network radio show that followed President Kennedy and his famous address on the Berlin Situation." The fourth album from the FSB, released in 1972(?) "Celebrates 20 Years in the 20th Century" is their last and final album under the direction of Shaffer. Some of these are believed to be recorded/pressed in Santa Maria, CA(?). In 1996 and 2000 two CDs were independently released by the FSB under the direction of Jim Kusserow, "Still Swingin' After All These Years (96)," and "Plays Capitol Jazz (00)." Today the Fabulous Studio Band continues under the direction of Clark Keele. | |

Yuichi meets a keyboard player Kaama who was deeply into a wide variety of gothic and new wave music. Jelsomena originally played Christian Death and '80s British 'Batcave' inspired old-school gothic rock, then later started adding darkwave and industrial elements to their sound. Sometime during 1992 the band changed its name to 'Ex-Nihilo' but changed back to Jelsomena in 1993. They were very active within the Kansai area goth scene, occasionally going on Tokyo tour, and often played shows with other goth bands like Jubilee, Judith, La Madame Rochas, Gille' Loves, Neurotic Doll, Rosen Kreuz, Mother Goose, Genet: Rock Of Romance (ex Auto-Mod), Speed-iD, as well as some visual-kei bands such as early LA'rc~en~Ciel, Gilles de Rais, Scare Crow, Zinx, The Harem Q, etc. After having numerous lineup changes since 1990, they broke up in 1994. Yuichi later joined Jubilee as their new singer. Jelsomena played a reunion show in April 2010, reformed and active again since 2015. The new lineup included: Vocals - Ranze ([a=La Madame Rochas]), Guitar - Ren (Musu Bore / Gregor Samsa), Drums - Tell (Musu Bore / Emmurée / Mother Goose / Auto-Mod / Neurotic Doll), and Keyboards & Vocals - Kaama They played the "Gothic Night Reverberation" live show event in Tokyo with Auto-Mod, Madame Edwarda, Phaidia, Neurotic Doll, Jubilee etc. ●●●●●●●● Discograhy ●●●●●●●● - The Lord's Will (Cassette, 1990) - Gigs (Cassette, 1990) - YHVH (Cassette, 1990) - She Says So Afraid (Cassette, 1991) - Braintrash (V/A CD, 1992) --- as Ex-Nihilo - Jelsomena Act '91 (VHS, 1992) - Ex-Nihilo (Cassette, 1993) --- as Jelsomena - Gothic Night (V/A VHS, 1994)

| Search | Add | 4 | Fvrtvr | FvRTvR is a two-body locus for demolecularized disco realized through meat shredding, science fiction improvisation. There are no beats here, however, just a relentless pyroclastic flow of robot voices gurgling indecipherable quips of the “baby, that volcano looks so good on you” variety. FvRTvR is [a=Guido Henneböhl] from Germany and [a=Fritz Welch], formerly of the United States, currently residing in the United Kingdom. Guido plays an electronic instrument of his own design. This devise appears to be trapped in the ancient mysteries of circuit bending but it is actually a dynamic oxygen filtration system. There are no longer actual animal bones contained in the main structure of the device but DNA is still detectable in its circuits. Fritz manipulates vibrating surfaces such as drums and cymbals using sticks and objects. He has also devised a method for offsetting syllabic utterances with percussive concussion. FvRTvR music is a keying of voice and instrument. It is an amalgam of planetary shifting and earthbound sentient attachment. It is composed in relation to a belief system which holds that there is a relationship between sonic phenomena and events in the human world. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Sacred Wolves | Hard Stoner Rock band from Madrid (2016), with diverse influences (blues, grunge, punk, metal...). With an aggressive and overwhelming live performance, formed in the underground scene, with two self-produced EP’s to show for and a staging than won’t be easy to forget, they will transport their audience far from the ordinary comercial standards which are difficult to avoid nowadays. Described as anachronistic (in the best of ways), their solid rhythmic base, powerful guitars and raspy voice, the strength and integrity of their shows, all of it wrapped in a somber aesthetic invites us to live the experience of a live act that is worth watching. | |

The original lineup changed after Larry had a serious accident. Multi-instrumentalist James Dumbelton then became a core member working side by side with Griselda and Peter as a writer/arranger. Other members were guitarist Nigel Challis and drummers Chris Pope, Mark Heyward and Kordian Tetkov. All together four albums were released. The first "Waulk Elektrik" was released on cassette and got them the deal that led to their second album "Uprooted", which was released by Dangerous Records. | Search | Add | 4 | Johnny RUBiX | John Ruiz | With inspirations ranging from Beck to Eifel 65, John Ruiz aka Johnny Rubix, prides himself on his ability to create interesting, genre bending music. Perfectly representing the unique artistic landscape of Tucson, Arizona, Rubix's musical range is only limited by his imagination. As a result, it is impossible to place him in any one genre. Pop infused dance numbers such as DamnLove offer a stark contrast to the melodic stylings of a song like "Poison," which showcases Rubix's production abilities. Self taught to play a variety of instruments, Rubix creates his own production soundscapes entirely by himself, often times playing every instrument in the song. Combined with his unique song writing talents, Rubix presents himself as one of the most versatile musicians out of Arizona. Others have taken notice, as Rubix has played massive events such as the 2015 Super Bowl Block Party in Phoenix and the Tucson Hip Hop Festival. Not limiting himself to just the creation of music, Rubix plays with new mixes and blends as a resident DJ at The Hut in Tucson. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Necrofulgurate | NECROFULGURATE hailed from the United States, and released two demos in super-limited editions. It was a one-time project, helmed by one man, intended for vile, raw death metal: NECROFULGURATE was hateful of all trends and posers, and suitably aimed for its music to be a rejection of that. Thus, it rejected lofty metaphysical concepts so prevalent in nowadays death metal and instead stuck to violent, war-themed lyrics espousing a hatred for mankind. Similarly, minimal equipment was used, with intentionally simplistic riffing that showed complexity in the smallest of details, nor was any "atmosphere" intentional. NECROFULGURATE never intended for either of its two demos to be released - in fact, they were almost deleted - but support from underground labels changed that. No gimmicks, no frills, no mystery: NECROFULGURATE's epitaph is written with Putrid Veil. | |

Since at least the early/mid 1990s, North Central began releasing albums by their frontline music ministry group, One Accord, the roster of which would change every year. At the time, One Accord was under the direction of [a2835758]. The music department was chaired by [a4639667] who oversaw the school's chorale. The Worship Live albums were originally a combined effort that didn't feature a specific group, but rather the members of the music department who were involved in leading worship for the school's regular weekly chapel services. | Search | Add | 4 | Phenris | Started as a raw Black Metal / Black 'n' Roll band named Hater, and changed name to Phenris in early 2001 when their style metamorphosed into their current sound with the inclusion of influences from several different Metal genres. Today the band is described as Avantgarde Black Metal musically. Lord J. H. Psycho is one of the founding members of Furor Italicus, an independent Italian underground network of metal musicians, promoters and fans. Halphas and Necrum are also regular active supporters of the circle. Supremacy was a raw black metal side project that some Phenris members founded and sporadically rehearsed as between late 2001 and Spring-Summer 2003; they only recorded a handful of rehearsal tapes (now lost by the band members themselves) that were given away to friends. Endymion is NOT the same keyboardist from Opus Maledicta and [A=Lord Vampyr]. Dario Stolfi was only a drummer for two rehearsals.

| Search | Add | 4 | Moms I'D Like To Surf | Winter 2012, as he gets tired of the cold and the snow of the French alps, John John De Vito decides to give up his saxophon and take back his guitar to find some hot waves in surf music. He asks Kristina Fabula, his old high school classmate, to exchange her violin for a baritone guitar. Here is the beginning of Moms I’d Like To Surf ! Obviously, Frankie Goodlord, Bassist and doctor of sixties music spirit, and then Bobby Ballard, ex-punk drummer reconverted to jazz, join the line-up in spring 2013. After several lives playing classics surf covers and some of their own tunes, they record their first EP in 2014. The next year, they work on new compositions and release their second EP "Surf Cops Are Watching You" and their first video clip "Surf Blast Inferno". They are currently working on a first LP, which will be released in 2019. | |
