Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | The Von Erich Suicide Mission | Officially you could say this band started in Brooklyn, NY. It’s where Shane and Bryan met, where they held their first practices and played their first shows. While they got together in Brooklyn, they got together because of Denton, TX. Before Williamsburg was young and hip, a group of artists from Denton were attracted there by cheap rent and a warehouse space. Parallel to this, Bryan and Shane were on separate paths criss crossing the country. Shane settled in Brooklyn and met the Dentonites. Bryan begrudgingly settled in New Jersey, but would get out to Brooklyn for a show or to meet his Denton buddies from time to time. On one of these trips Shane and Bryan discussed the important things in life, which consisted mostly of music and things related to music. Thus was the birth of the Von Erich Suicide Mission. Two like minded drifters brought together by a little known town 2000 miles away. …and then there’s Young Squire. Not to be a footnote, because this wouldn’t have started without a drummer. Squire claims that he was born in Texas, but he was raised in New Jersey. He found Bryan’s home recordings on a website Bryan set up and offered to play drums. Upon meeting, Bryan noticed a number of red flags. Squire was a bird watcher, a volunteer fireman, played hockey and claimed to be an architect even though he was only 20 at the time. The main concern was his earlier involvement in backyard wrestling – there may even be video evidence of this. Still, Bryan allowed him a chance because he chewed the same tobacco and cheered for the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. The home recordings would lay the foundation for VESM. Songs about the life and times of a rough and tumble wrestling family from Texas set to a creep rock sound track. Oh, and occasional songs about nachos, cars and girls. | |

Delivered government messages for radio broadcast during the Cold War. Born June 6, 1919, died February 10, 2013. The usual credit string is "Featuring a message from Steuart L. Pittman, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Civil Defense." This is currently being entered as a "Featuring" role, since that is the term used on the releases and exact role is unknown at this time. It's possible that Pittman only wrote the messages delivered by the announcer(s) and that the role should be that of a writer. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Petit Gateau | Raphael Drouskaniev | ‘Petit Gâteau’ is an outstanding recipe born in Paris in the family stove. In 2010, ‘Petit Gâteau’ decided to grow up by becoming the very first biscuit of the electronic French scene. Influenced by artists from everywhere, from The Timewriter to Dominik Eulberg, from Julio Bashmore to Trentemoller, also from Eek a mouse to Chris Liberator, he started a crispy and tasty adventure. Between Deep House and cocktails on the beach, catchy Minimal and vitamin C, but also PsyTrance, ‘Petit Gâteau’ stands out from traditional recipes by bringing the coolness of a ‘salade niçoise’ but with this strong and unusual taste of the ‘Moutarde de Dijon’ (Dijon Mustard). |

| Search | Add | 2 | Edu Su | Eduard Gilabert | Born in Lleida, he studies sol-fa and piano since he was 7, starts his own band when he was 16 and gets soon fascinated by the intensities of groups like Sonic Youth or Deus. At 20, he buys a GrooveBox 303 and starts producing electronic music with raspy bases, soaking up the electro and acid sounds. In 2002 he starts being part of the Club Bakomba as a partner, together with Robert Lamart and Pep Gaya (American typewriter). A small place where the German minimal techno is lived intensely. He plays in several local bars in his city, carries out a tour along the Czech Republic where he takes part in the Underground Garage urban festival in Prague and, finally, leaves his natal city to move to Bcn. From 2002, he joins the NsT group, through which they claim the stylistic diversity in opposition to the increasingly homogenized scene in Barcelona. He collaborates with Telenoika and Lectrovision, he spends his time in festivals and raves, and obtains a monthly residence in the P23 and in the B-Side. Nowadays, he shares set with Lectromind, developing sessions that go from the dubstep and the IDM to the electro and the most sober techno. In 2012, he starts materializing his personal project, Parabolic label, a record and audio-visual production label based on the full coexistence between the electronic music and the visual. With regard to his live sets, edu su tends to the breaks, electro and IDM, creating loaded scenes filled with emotion and contrasts that go from the most synthetic rhythmic crudeness to a sonorous density that invites you to be attentive to what is going on. Though of moderated bpm, it turns out to be forceful and danceable. |

| Search | Add | 2 | SoundShepard | SoundShepard was a funk-rock band created in Vigo, Spain in 2005. Their influences were mostly West Coast-based bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, Rage Against The Machine, etc. Their first lineup featured Cristóbal "Kwer" on guitar and twin siblings Xabier on bass and vocals and Cibrán on drums. In 2006 some changes in the band took place: Kwer is replaced by Rubén Carrera and Sergio García is incorporated on bass, releasing Xabier from playing bass and focusing only in vocal tasks. On december 2006, they recorded their first demo which would be released next year as an EP that featured an Iria Blanco Barca painting as cover. This work was critically acclaimed and as a result, they won the Best Demo Maketon Prize at the end of 2007 On May 2008 they start recording their second demo/EP which would feature a Michael Jackson's Billie Jean cover plus 4 brand new tunes. The demo is almost done but the vocal parts are never recorded. After that, the band goes through an idle period, until 2011, when they release their first LP entitled "Sin Levantar La Voz" which featured those never concluded tunes from the 2008 demo which have re-recorded plus a fistful of brand new songs. "Sin Levantar La Voz" was recorded by Óscar Fernández at Mafia Studios. They played some gigs supporting the "Sin Levantar La Voz" release and in July 2012 shot a videclip for the song "Esta Es Nuestra Lucha" which was premiered on their YouTube channel a month later. Since then the band seems to be inactive | |
