Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Bobby Meader Music | Bobby Meader Music was just that: the singer-songwriter output of a Las Vegas native stretched over a series of self-distributed releases. The bold attempt to expand a thin, acoustic-based sound into something more substantial almost never materialized. “We didn’t finish the new album we were working on because the day we showed up in Fort Wayne – after touring a month to get there from Vegas after the holidays – our drummer told us he wanted to go home and he left us high and dry. And the drummer we had before that we had to kick out mid-tour in Grand Junction, Colorado because he started causing a bunch of trouble.” Whether or not the work-in-progress was named I Think I Learned the Most From You for either – or both – of the two ousted drummers is one thing. It’s another to guess that the Nevada four-piece has gained valuable experience from trudging through these issues without label or agent support. Meader has served as the madman behind this operation, but his intelligence comes through with his determination following suit. They have played such festivals as Treefort Music Fest in Boise, Launch Music Conference in Lancaster, Pennsylvania as as well as unofficial SXSW showcases in Austin. They continue to relentlessly tour for 12 months a year, with over 300 shows scheduled for 2016. “The time had come to trade in my Prius for a fifteen-passenger Econoline and ask buddies to play and tour with me.” | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Will Gaynor | William Gaynor | Will Gaynor is an Austin, Texas-based artist whose artwork deals with existential topics: life, death, sex, and “the strangeness of being,” as he puts it. “It’s sort of my way of figuring out how to navigate what I call the intricacies of modern existence,” he says, but it comes with a lot of humor. His paintings are strange and symbolic, somehow uniting sacred geometry, cartoonish images, and nature. For Gaynor, music is his biggest inspiration as an artist and he's done several album covers for legendary Austin indie rockers, White Denim. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Art No Art | Art No Art Started out as a writers forum for a group of jazz musicians. They would meet after hours in the old Aurora Music building in the city of Shoreline, WA. They eventually moved to a basement studio and then to a room at Kellogg Middle School, and sometimes at Shorecrest High School. After they accumulated enough material, they voted on songs and proceeded to record at Basic Tracks Studio. This was a home studio in Warren Newton's duplex. They pooled together all their then brand new digital gear (1989) and set up the studio. The tape recorder was a Tascam 40-4 1/2 inch 8 track. Two computers were used to store the midi tracks: an Atari ST1040 and an Apple Mac Plus. This was mixed it down on what was then state-of-the-art Alesis 1622 mixer onto a Toshiba DX900 VCR (Which had two digital tracks via "PCM Capability"). The band endured floods, power surges, and a street demolition crew during the session that resulted in "No Doubt About It" (1990). For further information, contact "Art No Art" at {obs} 328 N.E. Serpentine Pl. Seattle, WA. 98155. | |

Analogue and digital synthesizers with intense grooves that propagate and extend into dizzying paths of ambient drone and gusts of noise pulsating and neurotic structures in a compact and uniform amalgam combining analog and digital instrumentation. Sonority in which darkness prevails and recall and remind Berlin's atmosphere of city center clubs.

| Search | Add | 4 | Exebelle | Known as "Exebelle And The Rusted Cavalcade" until 2017. Taking inspiration from Virginia's folk tradition as well as the rural country-rock of Ryan Adams, the Band, and Neil Young, songwriters Philip Heesen and C.E. Wright formed Exebelle & the Rusted Cavalcade in September 2007. Kerry Hutcherson joined the duo soon after, having previously cut his teeth with the local group Copper Sails, while bassist Ryan Owenby enlisted after the disintegration of his own Richmond-based band, Motion Picture Demise. The lineup remained intact for the local release of The Skeletor Sessions in 2008; shortly thereafter, though, Wright returned to his native Utah. With their original frontman gone, the remaining members began incorporating thick harmonies and varied instrumentation into their previously stripped-down music. The Antipoison Creek Sessions displayed the new sound in 2009, with each member contributing lead vocals to at least one of the EP's four tracks, and the countrified C.A.F. followed a few months later. Exebelle wrapped up the year by putting the finishing touches on Vivement l'Automne!, which appeared in early 2010. That same year, Virginia native Ben Willson joined the group on piano and vocals, making his Exebelle [record] debut on 2011's "V". - Andrew Leahey, AllMusicGuide Having gone without drums for quite some time, the band gained the aid of Mike Trimble for a short while in 2011 -- who had performed previously drummed with the band, some years before -- but then were back to square one when nature called Mike to LA. In 2012, with Phil's newly-acquired position in the popular Richmond band "Long Arms", he and their drummer Greg Butler became fast friends, leading Greg to graciously agree, along with Willson's friend and former bandmate Steve Chiles filling Owenby's spot on bass, to join the ranks of the Cavalcade in their quest toward a rowdier, more rewarding destiny. In 2014, Butler moved on and Exebelle welcomed drummer Kevin Willoughby into the fold. In early 2017, Exebelle welcomed bassist Mikey Bryant (Alabama Thunderpussy, Kid Is Qual) to the band. | |

In 2022, Rapallo opened the vault with the instrumental release Crossroads Sessions. In December 2025, the saga continues with the release of "Astral Belle." Gaining local fame after a bold school performance, he released Lost City in 2001, followed by Against The Grain, recorded with friends. His breakthrough, Whitey Pines Vol. 1, brought professional attention, but he soon split with longtime collaborator J-Bone. Whitey pressed on, creating Kentucky Crossroads with Jelly Roll and Haystak, though financial and personal struggles mounted. | Search | Add | 4 | Leonardo Vela R. | Leonardo Vela Rodríguez | Peruvian guitarist and band leader born in Tabalozos, Lamas. When he was still a child he moved to Moyobamba where he then began to accompany with the tumbas or maracas a group called Los Electros, whose owner was César Jiménez and the members Pablo Vásquez (lead guitar) Manuel Linares (bass), Francisco Ruíz (tumbas), Resurrection Ruíz (drums) and Celín Vásquez (singer). Later Francisco Ruíz left Los Electros to form his group called Los Duendes with Juan García (bass), Resurrección Ruíz (timbales) and Leonardo Vela (lead guitar). At the end of 1973, the group Los Génesis was formed in Rioja under the direction of Pedro Rojas (second guitar) with Walter Paima (bass), Charlemagne Díaz (drums), Hernán Ortiz (tumbas) and Juan Díaz Salazar (vocals). Since they needed a first guitar and composer, they went to Moyobamba to incorporate Leonardo, who was replaced in Los Duendes by Crox Alvarado. In the mid-seventies they go to Lima to record their first full length for the label [l590237] but they can't record as Los Génesis because there was already another band with that name, so they changed to Siglo XX. After the group disbanded, Leonardo and Pedro Rojas moved to Moyobamba and incorporated musicians Alejandro Angulo (timbales), Alfonso Mori (bass), Víctor Villacorta (tumbas) and Walter Arévalo (voice). On this trip to Lima, the owner of the Volcán invites Leonardo to stay and work at the record company but the job in the record company does not satisfy him and so he returns to Moyobamba to join the Grupo Arco Iris by Javier Puerta with Jorge del Águila (bass), Alejandro Angulo (timbales), Víctor Villacorta (tumbas) , Ernesto Ríos (vocals) and Walter Arévalo (vocals). Towards the end of the 1970s Jorge Franco Prado contacted Leonardo to relaunch the Lima group Los Reales del Perú with musicians from Lima and Moyobamba: Alfonso Rojas (first and second guitar), Jorge del Águila (bass), Guillermo Alvarado (timpani) and Eduardo Vizconde (vocals). In 1980 Leonardo went alone to Lima and recorded two small albums with his own compositions for the label [l1799240]. For these productions he takes the name of Los Reales de Moyobamba, even if the truth is that he was the only one present and the label completed the group with local musicians. After this, Leonardo is encouraged to form his own group, for this he leaves Los Reales, where Alfonso Rojas permanently takes on the first guitar and the task of composing, Guillermo Alvarado leaves to form the Grupo Atlantic. In the early eighties Leonardo recorded his first opera as Sonido Verde de Moyobamba, the group incorporates Carlos Córdova (second guitar), Leoncio Vásquez (bass), Marcial Rojas (timbales) and Abner Carbajal (singer), the latter two from Los Rangers de Moyobamba. |

| Search | Add | 4 | OO Soul | OO Soul | Formed in 1994 and based in Long Beach, CA, OO Soul is a gritty reflection of the diverse urban culture they hail from. With its notorious reputation for the seedier side of life, it’s no wonder that the local underground has chosen OO Soul as its soundtrack. The music of this “Eight Piece Brotherhood” funks so hard that it will take two washings to get its smell out of your threads. Founded upon the simple premise of creating a live dance band, OO Soul blends classic soul, R&B, and Latin grooves — reminiscent of the JBs and War — all updated nicely with a young, fresh, aggressive edge. Instrumental Soul, Funk and Latin (Afro-Cuban). The artist's name is two zeros, a dash then Soul (like 007 James Bond). OO-Soul has been used in several song names and at least one movie title. |
