Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Pavees Dance | Aram Bajakian and or Norbert Buerger, guitar Alex Marcelo, keyboards, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, bass also Malcolm Mooney visual art, poetry In 2014, premieres a new collaboration, Sean Noonan Pavees Dance featuring Malcolm Mooney, original singer from CAN In Pavees Dance, Noonan describes himself as an "Irish griot", one who collects tales, legends, and life stories over the course of his journeys and transforms them into raw material, not only from drumming, but in all of his music. Together with Aram Bajakian, his alter ego, and Jamaaladeen Tacuma, mutant bassist from Ornette Coleman's Primetime, they track down Malcolm Mooney, the original Can singer (back to "Monster Movie"). The latter remains famous for having been the shooting-star voice, half Soul, half psychedelic, of one of the more influential experimental Rock bands in History. Jamaaladeen Tacuma perhaps best known for his albums as bandleader on the Gramavision label and for his work with Ornette Coleman during the 1970s and 1980s (particularly in Coleman's Prime Time band). Jamaaladeen's 1988 album Jukebox was nominated for a Grammy Award. Aram Bajakian has performed/recorded with rock legend Lou Reed, Grammy winners Diana Krall and Yusef Lateef, saxophonist John Zorn. "The drummer and composer Sean Noonan approaches postmodern jazz and world music from the same angle of self-discovery ... he manages to make his pieces speak coherently, and in a unified voice." - The New York Times [a=Malcolm Mooney], [a=Sean Noonan], [a=Aram Bajakian], [a=Jamaaladeen Tacuma], [a=Norbert Bürger], [a=Alex Marcelo]

Search | Add | 4 | Face-Beta | Fabián Badano | Fabrecord exist since 1999 as a vague idea but was in 2003 that started to grow a little more serious, in 2006 there was a jump in the progress with the introduction of a PC with some software the project isn't serious yet. Searching in google for name validation i was aware that the name "fabrecord" already taken somewhere by somebody, so, i change the name to Fab-Rec or FaB-Rec in 2007, in 2008 i added "FaB" as a pseudonym for the same reason described abode and the same time, got a hardware upgrade to another level (from Pentium II to a Modern AMD processor more than enough for the music software used back then). In 2009 introduced "Fabianrec" and subsequently created a soundcloud account that is still today online. Face beta, that was in 2010, from some self thoughts about the how much last for "make some musically descent work", so the word "Beta" stands that the works has bugs in it, so the music made also contains "errors" those "errors" are a subjective perspective, so the β letter went included in consecutive names variations on the following years; Faβ in 2012, Faβian 2013, FacBeta on 2015 to 2017. In 2017 was the absolute depression. In that year, started a new project based on a mobile app called nanoloop under the alias Bafdan that was the mobile name back then, focused on minimalism and the whole production with no other additional post processing more than some basic mastering (very basic). On 2020 there were some "comebacks" under the old "Fabrecord" as artist alias, more mature and with wisdom in productions. On the current times, Fabrecord label host all those pseudonims and its albums and/or EP's along with the newest productions in the works. Also uses various pseudonims such as Fabrecord, Fab-Rec, Fabianrec, FaB, Faβian, Faβ, FacBeta, Bafdan |

Search | Add | 4 | Сучий Лесок | Punk band from Yekaterinburg, Russia. I had always used fake names when I was doing straight music so I just went with it. The time period was late-1990s to early-2000s. We did shows in our basement during that time. We called it the Sacred Garden and had quite a few traveling improvisers play there as well. It was all documented in a film called Music Of The Moment by a fellow named Kevin Wisor.

Search | Add | 4 | Mike Yarwood | Michael Edward Yarwood OBE | British comedian, impressionist, and actor. Born: 14 June 1941 in Bredbury, Cheshire, England, UK. Died 8 September 2023. Known as one of Britain's top-rated entertainers, Yarwood regularly appearing on TV in both his own shows and others, from the 1960s to the 1980s. He created many characterisations of famous and known characters, with his catchphrases often becoming identified with the famous figure concerned, regardless of whether the figure themselves actually using them. Two of the most well known were actually spoken by the persons he caricatured. "Silly Billy" was spoken by his caricature of member of British political party, [l=The Labour Party], and Chancellor Of The Exchequer, Denis Healey, was actually used by Healey at the time to describe strikers. It was also rumoured that "I mean that most sincerely, folks", spoken by his caricature of "Opportunity Knocks" presenter [a=Hughie Green], was made up by Yarwood, but was in reality first spoken by Green himself. Another political figure he is remembered for caricaturing, is that of British Prime Minister [a=Harold Wilson], with it even appearing on the B-side of a 7" record, "[m=958525]" (1968). |

Search | Add | 4 | Fanny Reed Hammond | Fanny Bliss Reed (1875-1969) was a musician, curator, and benefactress of the arts, for whom the Pine Manor College Fanny Reed Hammond Collection of Keyboard Instruments was named. The daughter of Rev. Dr. Edward Allen Reed and Mary Bliss Reed, Mrs. Hammond was for most of her life a resident of Holyoke, Massachusetts. She married William Churchill Hammond, noted organist, at the Second Congregational Church of Holyoke where he was music director (today the United Congregational Church) on June 28, 1898 and they had two sons, William Churchill Hammond, Jr. and Lansing Van der Heyden Hammond. In the 1920s she appears to have arranged sheet music for the violin and piano, published under C. W. Thompson & Co. of Boston. She was curator of the Skinner Musical Collection for many decades, appearing to likely have taken up the mantle as the main curator at Wistariahurst after the death of Nils J. Ericsson, a contemporary of Arnold Dolmetsch, after his death on February 17, 1933. This coincided with the same year the catalog of that collection was first released under the commission of William Skinner (II). Mrs. Hammond would remain with the Wistariahurst collection as curator up through its donation to Yale in 1960, and recorded at least 2 records of her narration and explanation of its instruments.

Search | Add | 4 | Timsears | How does timSEARS (yes, you must spell his name like that) fit into the picture? Well, if you want to play 'seven degrees of separation', then you can go: timSEARS --> Very (partner in rhyme) --> Scarub (did an album with Very) --> Murs (fellow Living Legend) --> Slug (did an EP with Murs) --> Abstract Rude (hosted Slug on his "P.A.I.N.T." album). So with a couple of detours it only takes us five steps to position tim right smack in the middle of the legendary Project Blowed and with that right in the middle of the west's underground oven. But as said: detours, because timSEARS is much closer to the house that the west built, as there's more or less no degree of separation.

But a missing children's group that brings music to children at the time, the act could see in theaters, fairs and festivals, which could ask for autographs or who heard on the radio. Thus were born Xipis, the hand of Concèntric, Josep Maria Espinás, Laura Almerich, Montserrat Angulo, Enric Frigola and Lluís Llach: children who sang for children in Catalan songs always present and, even, created especially for them. Between 1970 and 1974 made several concerts, recorded four records and left their small footprint. |

Search | Add | 4 | Smingus | Smingus | The Polish-American-British band Smingus recently released their new album BLACK DIAMONDS, on Loose Wire Records. The album premiere took place in November 2014. The Band is now preparing a European tour promoting the new album in autumn/winter 2015. The well-travelled multi-national musicians that make up Smingus all met in Krakow, Poland in the mid aughts. Smingus took its time to carve out their own space on the musical landscape by fusing their collective influences to create a unique style steeped in American and British folk as well as blues and experimental rock traditions. Smingus’ debut album LANDSLIDE (2011) garnered glowing reviews and was in heavy rotation on alternative Polish, European and American Radio stations. The band toured heavily behind the album and racked up 150 concerts and festival appearances across Poland and Europe. The pinnacle of the LANDSLIDE tour came on New Year’s Eve 2013 when Smingus played Krakow, Poland’s Market Square just after midnight to an exuberant crowd of over 40,000 people. BLACK DIAMONDS was released in November 2014 on Loose Wire Records and it is full of rich, sonically diverse songs. The album was envisioned as a cohesive sonic experience and even though the sonic pallette may vary song to song, the overall effect of the album is cohesive. Smingus’ songwriting matured a lot from LANDSLIDE and their evolved musicianship, coupled with singer and chief songwriter Dave Molus’ emotionally raw lyrics, are what makes BLACK DIAMONDS a captivating album that listeners will return to time and again. Selected excerpts from BLACK DIAMONDS reviews: "Without a doubt, BLACK DIAMONDS is one of the best Polish albums of the year." Enter The Room - www.entertheroom.pl "The album BLACK DIAMONDS is a production that stands out in many respects. Firstly, we don’t often come across such an international collaboration that includes Polish participation. Secondly, Smingus’ second outing is advanced enough musically that they can easily compete with stars of both the international Folk and Rock scenes.” AltMundi - www.altmundi.pl "Virtually every song on BLACK DIAMONDS is a unique, self-contained work that invites us (this is a bit banal but true) into an entirely new world - a fresh and surprising story. At the same time, BLACK DIAMONDS is very consistent stylistically and despite the perpetual ‘changes’ it somehow offers a cohesive ‘constant’ which allows it to stand up as a collective whole” High Fidelity - www.highfidelity.pl "The tightness of the band in conjunction with a large dose of musical imagination has allowed Smingus to record an album which encapsulates their maturity and perfectly presents their dynamic sonic development. Keep it up!" E-Splot - www .e-splot.pl “BLACK DIAMONDS is a breath of fresh air on the Polish music scene. The richness of sounds and diversity of genres presented in the album ensure that it will strike a chord with many rock enthusiasts." Small Error - www .malyerror.blogspot.com Enjoy your listen and we look forward to working with you in the near future as we book dates for the forthcoming tour. Search | Add | 4 | Ediktos Juveniles | Ediktos Juveniles, band from Posadas, Misiones, Argentina that moved between rock garage, hc and punx go go…. It started back in '95, at the end of that year. They met in the rock music scene of Posadas, which began to take shape around the year 92. By that year there were already many bands and a fairly large audience. Mali and Seko had known each other since ‘94 because they played together in a band called Necrology, a band whose music was very different from Ediktos . Javo and Misfit were part of those people who are always in shows and wanting to do things. They had a band that did not last long called Odio Extremo, and the four met each other precisely at concerts and as part of the same movement of people who liked rock and music with social content. With the passing of the years and many beautiful experiences in shows and rehearsals, they gave shape to what was their first album in April 1999, entitled "EDIKTOS JUVENILES, un banda posadeña que se movía entre el rock garage, el hc y el punx go go… . The doors were opened to them with outside gangs and it was possible to meet the gang in other places that crossed the borders of our province. They played in Buenos Aires on two occasions with the Boom Boom Kid, the first in La Trastienda for more than 1,000 people and the second on a mini tour that included three dates. Also in Mar del Plata, the interior of the province and in other provinces such as Corrientes, and even Paraguay, both in Encarnación (city opposite Pdas.) And in Asunción. In 2001, Ediktos underwent a change of member and joined the Carmelo guitar that came from playing in other bands (Basura S.A .. more precisely)
