Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 18 | Hex Kommando | HEX KOM aka Hex Kommando | Hex Kommando (also HEX KOM) is an obscure lo-fi experimental ritual industrial & synthpop/coldwave project by Noise Nazi. It began a few weeks after the passing of NN's mother. And became an avenue for total experimentation in genres that were new & challenging (although NN had been a fan of these genres for a long time), while reigning with total self expression & madness. It combines influences from synthpop, darkwave, new wave, coldwave, goth rock, industrial, avant garde, minimal wave, electro and even disco/Hi-NRG! Every demo/album pulls elements from these genres. Along with noise & power electronics. Some albums & tracks are recorded on the spot (improvised) and are intentionally sloppy, disorganized & often have recording mistakes left in the songs themselves. This entire project was an experimental journey for Noise Nazi, learning to play different synths and keys and attempting to create something different, other than simply noise music. The first few songs and demos by HK were intentionally disorganized, lo-fi, obscure quality and with indiscernible vocals. The original intent was to embody the audio form of a dextromethorphan trip. While later on the project moved towards more organized, cleaner produced synth wave & experimental music. While some EP's and later demos also became dark ritual industrial music. Although Hex Kom retained some of it's indiscernible vocals style as to not Hex listeners with words or repeated choruses. The lyrics are secret & some tracks have discernible vocals when they are meant to invoke an emotion, spirit or incantation. |

May 9, 1950, Lyngby) held the almost unchallenged position as Denmarks most acclamied songlyrics writer for the major part of the 70's and the 80's. Prior to this, in the early 70's, he was involved in the final line-up of the Lyngby-based band [a934464]. Some of his earliest songs from his first album , a.o. Search | Add | 18 | Josh Buché | Born high in the mountains of eastern Nebraska at the ripe young age of 19 with a full head of hair, Josh Buché is mostly just confused. His desire to produce emotionally evocative recordings in tandem with an obsessive need to collect and play any instrument he can drives him to spend most of his time working towards inane and nearly pointless goals which are insane to most people. He’s even been known to play shows… sometimes. Is it an effort in self-gratification, is there some inherent value to playing and recording music for its own sake, or should he be hospitalized for his own good? Listen and decide for yourself.

Also, the music was intended to have less black metal influence in the music than before, focusing more on heavy/power metal. In addition to CDr, all releases are available for free download from Mediafire. Note: Some copies of Trust Your Heart's albums are in color, and some are in black-and-white. This is just a consequence of the albums being made by hand. Unless otherwise specified, both color variations are official, and do not come from separate runs/versions.

Born in Northern Iceland as Stefán Guðmundsson, he is considered the country's greatest tenor singer of the 20th century. He was the oldest of three children of a poor farm worker and his wife. When the boy was nine years old his father died in an accident, and he was brought up on a nearby farm. It was soon discovered that he was endowed with an exceptional singing voice, and when he came to Reykjavík at the age of nineteen he began taking singing lessons. A wealthy trawler owner volunteered to pay for his musical education in Italy where he studied in Milan from 1930 to 1933. In 1933 he made his debut as Cavaradossi in "Tosca" impressing the audience with his warm voice and his artistic temperament. The Italian press gave him the name Stefano Islandi. The following years up to WWII he toured his home country and many European countries. In 1940 he was engaged at the Royal Opera House in Copenhagen, Denmark, and became a Royal Court Singer in 1949. In the years after the war he also performed in the United States and Canada and appeared in the first operatic production of the National Theatre in Reykjavík in 1951 as the Duke in "Rigoletto". In 1966 he settled down in Iceland after having lived abroad for more than 35 years. Bio by: Erik Skytte |

Search | Add | 18 | King Arto | Artem Sargsian a.k.a. Art Jahgun | Russian dub artist, producer, mixing & mastering engineer, creator & promoter, soundsystem operator, dub school principal When Arto first visited Jamaica in July 2013, he met a farmer named Mark and a fisherman named Aaron. Jamaicans were very helpful and were happy to accompany the artist on a journey through the island. Once Aaron told Arto that there is a recording studio in his native fishing village on the west coast of the island . Arto decided immediately to go there and record the song "NUH SELL YOURSELF", which he sang all the way, wandering along with the farmer and fishermen through evergreen Jamaica. HighWave Studio is located in Negril, directly on the shore of the Caribbean Sea. Agreeing with the elderly dreadlock engineer - the owner of the studio, the musician started to work. Arto wrote a simple version of the famous Jamaican riddim "Cuss Cuss", using the tools available in the studios: broken drums, dusty keys and bass. When riddim was ready, Arto, Mark and Aaron recorded their voices. The room was cramped after recording and stuffy, but sea breeze and sandy beach met musicians on the way out . After recording Aaron invited Marka and Arto to go to his fishing lodge, which was nearby. Musician enjoy the taste of fried sea fish, listening to the stories of farmer and fishermen, while the aged engineer completed the mastering of the song "NUH SELL YOURSELF". |

Both were born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since they met there, they started making music together, traveling and living in some different parts of the world. It wasn't until the year 2018, that they started sharing their music with the world. Their sound is electronic rock, with a blend of each of their own musical tastes and influences mainly combining psychedelic rock with several electronic music genres. They grew up listening and loving music from Syd Barrett, The Doors, Lou Reed, Jimmy Hendrix, Nirvana, Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel, Einstürzende Neubauten, Nine Inch Nails, Aphex Twin, Joy Division, Sumo and Fela Kuti among others conforming an extensive list. In these past years they focused in listening, discovering and connecting with other great indie artists. A loving and supportive community of independent musicians and artists, fans, radio hosts, curators, DJs and producers emerged stronger than ever during these 'pandemic times'. Many of these artists also described 2:45's music saying that it contained elements of indie rock, shoegaze, post-punk, indie pop, world music and kraut rock. |

Migrating with his family to Melbourne, he attended primary school at Williamstown. Following Frederick's death in 1894, George went with Sarah to join relations in Perth. They lived close to poverty until George's rich soprano voice gained him jobs in cheap vaudeville shows. In 1896 mother and son moved to Kalgoorlie, then in the grip of gold-fever. Sorlie sang in bars, halls and in the streets, and was able to support his mother. At the height of his career (1920-40) Sorlie was known as the 'King of the Road', both as an actor and a producer of drama, pantomime, musical comedy and vaudeville. His cheery smile and devotion to 'clean' entertainment earned him the respect of the theatrical world. Zebra-striped cars heralded a Sorlie show in many a country town. His most famous part was the lead in Uncle Tom's Cabin: on one occasion a Townsville publican protested at the whipping Tom received from Simon Legree. Helpless on the floor with laughter, Sorlie was unable to reassure his audience that the whipping was theatrical. |

One month later, with comrades marching four abreast, they marched through Marble Arch to hold the first Salvation Army meeting in Hyde Park. The story of the band is one of both people and place. The years have been rich in the number of real characters who have formed the band and moulded its progress, inspired by their experience of God at work in their lives. Behind it all has been the location of the Corps at the heart of the West End - General William Booth's inspired vision when he turned the former roller skating rink into God's house.

Rediscovered by an independent UK record label, his 1970s recordings gained attention, leading to the release of three Lifeblud tracks and a compilation of his solo work. Fueled by a resurgence of creativity, he delved into a distinct country singer-songwriter vibe on new songs, infusing them with pedal steel and country-inspired elements. Invited to Nashville by producer Pat McInerney, Roger's tracks came to life with Nashville's finest musicians, resulting in an archive of over 150 captivating tracks.
