Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Jamaicans were very helpful and were happy to accompany the artist on a journey through the island. Once Aaron told Arto that there is a recording studio in his native fishing village on the west coast of the island . Arto decided immediately to go there and record the song "NUH SELL YOURSELF", which he sang all the way, wandering along with the farmer and fishermen through evergreen Jamaica. HighWave Studio is located in Negril, directly on the shore of the Caribbean Sea. Agreeing with the elderly dreadlock engineer - the owner of the studio, the musician started to work. Arto wrote a simple version of the famous Jamaican riddim "Cuss Cuss", using the tools available in the studios: broken drums, dusty keys and bass. When riddim was ready, Arto, Mark and Aaron recorded their voices. The room was cramped after recording and stuffy, but sea breeze and sandy beach met musicians on the way out . After recording Aaron invited Marka and Arto to go to his fishing lodge, which was nearby. Musician enjoy the taste of fried sea fish, listening to the stories of farmer and fishermen, while the aged engineer completed the mastering of the song "NUH SELL YOURSELF". |

Il prend un temps de réflexion en ce qui concerne le disque tout en continuant de se produire dans les clubs et les bars. Pendant plusieurs années, Clermont et sa bien-aimée Lizon chantent en duo dans les salles de danse les plus en vogue de la région. En 1988, Clermont revient avec une première production sur cassette intitulée, ''Clermont Maltais de Retour''. Retour Fulgurant, Clermont tourne de plus en plus à la radio, il anime une émission à la station CFLS. L'année suivante, Il récidive avec une deuxième production ''Heureux près de vous'', comprenant dix nouvelles compositions qu'il présente à son public. Les portes lui sont maintenant ouvertes on le voit sur plusieurs émissions de télévision : ''Ad Lib'', ''De bonne Humeur'' et le ''Match de la Vie''. Initially drawing a salary of Rs.8/- per month, he kept long hours in this job. His work involved maintaining accounts for his employer in the Modi script. He was by then drawing a salary of Rs.15/- to Rs.20/- per month and financial constraints made it difficult for him to purchase a ticket for this performance. Despite this, he attended the performance and heard two songs from the second act of the play while standing in the corridor of the hall. His interest in music led him to join Anant Manohar Joshi’s Guru Sangeet Vidyalaya in 1913. Within the first three days of his joining this class, Joshi wondered why Madhavrao was working as a clerk when he had a good voice and an impressive physique - qualities that would enable him to join the theatre. Joshi suggested that he enter the world of theatre, as this would give him money and fame, and invited Keshavrao Bhosale, Virkar and others of the Lalit Kaladarsh Natak Mandali to audition Madhavrao. Bhosale stipulated that he would play the role of Narada in the play Soubhadra and the terms of employment would be decided based on this experience. Accordingly, he trained between 8 and 10 every morning and continued to work as a clerk after 11 a.m. This arrangement continued for a week but he was skeptical about the manner in which people would react to his decision to join the theatre. Those were the days when people involved in theatre were generally not treated with respect by the rest of society. Consequently, he stopped attending his music class and severed his nascent links with theatre. In 1914, Keshavrao Bhosale tried yet again to involve Madhavrao in theatre. Madhavrao finally decided to accept his invitation to join the Lalit Kaladarsh Natak Mandali and moved to Amravati for a month after taking a month’s leave from his employer. Bhosale decided to pay him a salary of Rs.40/- per month. His earlier job as accounts clerk came in handy even in his new position and he was also paid an extra Rs.10/- for maintaining accounts for the theatre company. Lodging and boarding was taken care of by the company. Initially, Madhavrao was asked to play the role of sutradhar (narrator) in various plays. He was Vasishta in Ramrajya, Narada in Soubhadra and Sharvilak in Mricchakatika. A year went by in this manner during which time, he received training in vocal music, posture and movement on stage, and in other aspects of theatrical performance. The preliminary training was conducted by Keshavrao Bhosale. While in Lalit Kaladarsh, Madhavrao gained public recognition for his roles in the plays Hach mulacha baap and Sanyasacha sansar. However, he left Lalit Kaladarsh in 1920 at Solapur due to a disagreement, and reached Mumbai to join the Gandharva Natak Mandali. His salary at the Lalit Kaladarsh was Rs.110/- at the time he left. Madhavrao joined the Gandharva Natak Mandali in 1921 and was associated with this company for a period of thirty years. The popularity of the Gandharva Natak Mandali was largely due to the enterprise and performances of its proprietor and eminent actor-singer Narayanrao Rajhauns alias Bal Gandharva. Madhavrao’s first role in the Gandharva Natak Mandali was that of Shukracharya in the play Vidyaharan. It was however his role as Krishna that brought him much public acclaim.He acted as Chokhoba in around 1931, which increased the devotional sentiment in him. In time to come, he developed a liking for harikirtan and began performing kirtans after retiring from theatre. In the long years of his association with the Gandharva Natak Mandali, Madhavrao had several interesting experiences both on and off stage. In 1925-26, Narayanrao and Shankarrao Vyas, disciples of Vishnu Digambar Paluskar organised a music conference in Ahmedabad. Scheduled among the performances were stage songs rendered by Vinayakrao Patwardhan. Patwardhan could not attend this festival due to unavoidable circumstances and sent Madhavrao in his stead. Madhavrao was in Baroda at the time with the Gandharva Natak Mandali for the birthday celebrations of Sayajirao Gaikwad, head of the princely state of Baroda and patron of the company. During this visit to Ahmedabad, Madhavrao experienced the way of life at the Sabarmati Ashram, where Narayan Khare, another disciple of Paluskar resided with his family. Khare had set to tune Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati bhajans in various raags.Madhavrao had the opportunity to be a part of the interaction that took place in the Gandharva Natak Mandali between actors-singers and other musicians. Among some of the reputed musicians in the Mandali were, Vinayakrao Patwardhan, disciple of Vishnu Digambar Paluskar, engaged as actor-singer in the company, and Ahmed Jan Thirakwa and Qadir Baksh, who were retained as tabla and sarangi players, respectively. His own account of his life and times shows him to be a man of great strength and resilience. He recounts a special concert of Faiyaz Khan that was organized in 1937 at Baroda for the Gandharva Natak Mandali. Faiyaz Khan asked for one of the Mandali actor-singers to sing before him. No one was willing to face this situation, but when Madhavrao was requested, he immediately agreed to do so. On another occasion, he agreed to step into a role normally played by another actor, since the latter was unwell. He knew the dialogues and songs meant for the other actor very well and he received tremendous public applause for his performance. He was extremely hard-working and did not let even the occasional health problem disturb his performance. On one such occasion, despite high fever, he continued with his part in the play.As an actor-singer, Madhavrao was known for his beautiful voice, clear speech delivery and a good physique. Madhavrao’s well-wishers and fans celebrated his 70th birthday at the Laxmi Baug Hall, Mumbai. Present at the function were historian N.R. Phatak, Bal Gandharva, renowned harmonium player Vitthalrao Korgaonkar, music director Vasant Desai and reputed lawyer Sushil Kavlekar, among other distinguished persons. References: G. F. After teaching high school students for several years in Senegal, Fodéba moved to Paris, France. There, he became an avid researcher of theater and dance, and in 1949, founded “Les Ballets Africains de Keita Fodéba". The first performance by Les Ballets Africains was staged at the Théâtre de l'Étoile in Paris in November 1952. It was an instant success. After touring France for several years, Fodéba brought his company to Africa in 1955 and conducted an extensive tour in the then French colonies of West Africa. During that trip, he was selected to be Minister of Interior of the Republic of Guinea by its first president, Ahmed Sékou Touré. Fodéba later held a number of other positions in the Guinean government, including as head of Defense and Security. Fargnoli represented numerous other prominent acts, such as [a=Sinéad O'Connor] and [a=Godsmack], and served as a director and manager of his London-based label, [b][l=Red Dot Records][/b] (from 1992 to '96). In February 1992, Fargnoli was nominated for "Best Long Form Music Video" at the 34th Grammy Awards for producing O'Connor's [i][m=502022][/i] concert film. Fargnoli had worked as a booking agent since the early 1970s before he was hired by the [a=Cavallo-Ruffalo Management], a reputable firm founded by [a=Bob Cavallo], a future Chairman of Disney's [l=Hollywood Records], and [url=https://discogs.com/artist/1747338]Joe Ruffalo[/url], which handled such high-caliber bands as [a=Earth, Wind & Fire], [a=Weather Report], and [a=Little Feat]. In early 1979, following the release of [a=Prince]'s debut album [i][m=22011][/i], his label [l=Warner Bros. Records] signed Cavallo-Ruffalo as a new management team. Steve Fargnoli supervised the contract as a senior employee. In the following decade, Fargnoli contributed to all [a=Prince] studio albums between [i][m=22513][/i] (1979) and [i][m=52497][/i] (87), managed [i]1999 Tour[/i], [i]Purple Rain Tour[/i], and [i]Lovesexy Tour[/i], and several music videos, including [i][m=268038][/i] '88 concert film. Steven also worked on a few [l=Paisley Park] releases by Prince's proteges, such as [a=Sheila E.]'s [i][m=22729][/i] (1985), self-titled albums by [a=Jill Jones] and [a=Taja Sevelle] in 1987, and [i][m=174819][/i] (88) by [a=Dale Bozzio]. Steven became crucial to the Prince's ascend to international superstardom, subsequently promoted to a name partner in the firm, which rebranded as [b][a=Cavallo, Ruffalo & Fargnoli][/b] in March 1986. Besides managing Prince's musical endeavors, Steve Fargnoli played a significant role in producing his debut Hollywood blockbuster [i][m=388665][/i] which premiered in July 1984. The follow-up [i][m=268031][/i] in 1986 — apparently, produced against Fargnoli's advice — became a box-office flop and earned Steven and his partners [i]Razzie[/i] "anti-award" and a nomination for the year's Worst Movie. In January 1989, [a=Prince] abruptly fired his management team and appointed [a=Albert Magnoli], [i]Purple Rain[/i] writer-director with no prior experience in artist management, as Fargnoli's replacement. Despite the initial press statements on the amicable separation, Steven and [a=Prince] soon engaged in a legal battle. In December 1991, Fargnoli sued Prince for allegedly defaming him in the lyrics of "Jughead," one of the tracks on [i][m=97248][/i], and demanded $5 mln in damages. [a=Prince] immediately countersued, claiming mismanagement and bad faith advice; they settled out-of-court. In November 1992, Steven Fargnoli filed yet another five-million lawsuit, this time against Prince's new law firm, [a3682546], which was shortly dismissed by the court. After parting ways with Cavallo-Ruffalo and dissolving [url=https://discogs.com/artist/1959370]CR&F[/url] in June 1992, Fargnoli opened a new management firm, [b]Pure Acts Ltd.[/b], with offices in London and Los Angeles.
