Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

The interest in this new sound comes straight from the passion for punk and rock music that characterized his childhood as a drummer. His teens are marked by the characteristic settings and the atmosphere of the clubs of his land, allowing him to collect sounds that would fill and characterize his musical background, up to debuting in clubs such as Tresor, ://About Blank, Corsica Studios, Garage Noord, Rashomon Club and more. His musical selection ranges from techno to electro crossing broken and hard beats, making his style as eclectic and never defined. |

Both women are vocalists and multi-instrumentalists, with Beck Levy (Turboslut, The Gift) primarily playing guitar and Erin McCarley (Delta Dart, Pygmy Lush, Governess) primarily on percussion. Levy and McCarley both come from DIY punk scenes. Their previous bands were loud. HGJ explores a different mode of heaviness. As a band, they are directed by the values of minimalism, agility, and confrontation. Their live performances include elements of visual and performance art, with a constructed habitat that evolves from show to show.

Search | Add | 2 | Brittany Maier | Brittany Mercedes Maier | Brittany Maier was born in April of 1989. Premature by four months, she weighed a pound and five ounces. Even though she was diagnosed blind, autistic, and mentally disabled, Brittany Maier’s amazing musical talent surfaced when she began playing Schubert's Ave Maria on a toy piano at age six. Able to duplicate a song after having just heard it a few times, Brittany Maier memorized music with no limit to style, instrument, or language it was recorded in. At age ten, after receiving formal music instruction at The University of South Carolina's School of Music, Brittany began composing her own original songs and she released her first album "20/20" when she was just twelve years old. In 2005, Brittany Maier moved to New York where her talent found a larger audience through television appearances on Dateline NBC, Paula Zahn - Now! and the Montel Williams show. She performed as a guest of honor at Governor and Mrs. Pataki's Annual Prayer Breakfast, has entertained a crowd of fifty-five thousand Met fans at Shea Stadium, has been welcomed in a countless number of houses of God by religions of all denominations and origins and was recently privileged to grace the hallowed and prestigious stage of Carnegie Hall. Brittany Maier’s second CD, titled "A World of My Own," was released through Barnes & Noble stores nationwide in America in 2006. In 2007 her music grew to a worldwide audience when she appeared on German television for Die Show Der Merkwurdigkeiten (“Show of Miracles”). Headlines from newspapers called her "A Gift from God" and "AMusical Miracle" and those thoughts are echoed daily by her fans. Brittany Maier performs nationally for charitable organizations that raise awareness for autism and many other special needs causes. The New York Daily News wrote of her: “Brittany is a brilliant testimony to God’s gracious, miraculous presence among us,” then cited her as “perhaps the leading female musical savant in the world.” Dr. Scott Price, from USC’s School of Music stated to Dateline of Brittany’s skills, “To find all of those qualities housed in one person…we start listing names like Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt...”And the opinion of Dr. Darold Treffert, leading and world renown specialist on savants who says “Brittany fits the spectacular, rare, musical genius seen in prodigious savants,” and cites that there are only twenty people in the world with talent such as hers. Inspiring millions around the world without saying a word, Brittany’s life is meaningful, purposeful and divinely directed. Brittany enlightens people that they can overcome any obstacles in life they are presented with and still pursue their dream. Where her talent will take her, or what greatness she will achieve, no one knows. There is no stopping the power of God, which works its way through and around her, illuminating every audience she reaches. Brittany penetrates the soul, mesmerizes the mind and captures the heart through her music. Unique and amazing, she is history in the making. Unforgettable and a truly great artist and composer of our time, she is the one and only… Brittany Mercedes Maier. |

She was born as Lillian Hardin in Memphis, Tennessee, where she grew up in a household with her grandmother, Priscilla Martin, a former slave from near Oxford, Mississippi. During her early years, Hardin was taught hymns, spirituals, and Classics on the piano. She was drawn to popular music and later blues, but could only listen or play these styles occasionally and covertly, because her mother, Dempsey (she called her "Decie"), a deeply religious woman, considered them "sinful". |

Search | Add | 2 | Mobili Trignani | Italian indie-pop band (Pop, Indie, Minimalist, Spontaneous) from Abruzzo, Italy Members: Nicola (Bass, Ukulele, Suitcase Drum, Vocals, and Synthesizer) Edoardo (Drums and Percussion) Fabrizio Trignani (Guitars and Vocals) Active Years: 2016–present Mobili Trignani is an Italian indie-pop band formed by Fabrizio Trignani alongside his lifelong friends Nicola and Edoardo. Fabrizio, an Abruzzese singer-songwriter, began crafting songs in 2012, drawing inspiration from everyday catastrophes yet never veering into sadness. His affinity for pop is likely rooted in a profound love for humanity, nurtured within the walls of his family home in Arsita (TE). In 2016, the trio decided to consolidate their musical and lifelong experiences under the name Mobili Trignani. They made their debut with a nationwide tour in the summer of 2017, "In Consegna," showcasing Fabrizio's first album "Diario di un Menestrello." The following year, they doubled their performance count and simultaneously excited and worried their families with the duo tour "Aperto anche la Domenica." In 2019, they launched a crowdfunding campaign to finance and release their first album under the Mobili Trignani moniker, with the support of Casetta Records. Their style is characterized by a blend of quirky pop, minimalist arrangements, and a dash of spontaneous lightness, underscored by unconventional instrumentation. During the challenging year of 2020, the trio remained creative and active by working remotely (Trieste, Teramo, Arsita). They produced videos, social media content, stream concerts, and planned tours through Sardinia and Abruzzo, as well as other performances with artists from the Italian independent scene. 2021 kicked off with a new single release, sent as a Christmas greeting, and a collaboration with the Consorzio Musicale Abruzzese for the song "Uatelilive." This track heralds their latest album and two EPs set for release in 2022. Mobili Trignani uniquely blends pop sensibility with profound, often humorous lyrics. Their music is a tribute to life in all its facets, wrapped in catchy melodies and unconventional sounds. Their approach is marked by attention to detail, playful handling of musical instruments, and a deep connection to Italian culture. "It's rare not to remember Mobili Trignani while taking a shower!" – A phrase that aptly summarizes the lasting impact of their music on the everyday lives of their listeners. With each performance and release, Mobili Trignani solidifies their place in the Italian and international music scene as a band that delights audiences with both lightness and depth.

Search | Add | 2 | The Last Day Of Winter | The Last Day Of Winter are a Portuguese post-rock band from Ovar, it consists of [a7874909] on guitar, [a7874930] on bass and [a7874929] on drums. Born and developed by elements of many distinct and distant musical, social and artistic movements, but always with the common goal to fight and defeat inertia and musical conservatism of their own environment, and after a long period of rehearsals and failed formations, The Last Day of Winter managed to find their own identity and, finally, move on to the studio and record all of what they had absorbed. Endowed with a melancholic density and dissonant gestures, a distorted and introspective approach, we are invited to take a stroll through the universe of some of the most influential band of experimentalism and post-rock of our days, showing us that sometimes the vocal melody can be a purely figurative element in musical composition.
