Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | On X Point | "It was 1987 when I caught the first XOn PointX show. It took place at the legendary Philadelphia space The Garage. The Crowd of 40 or so could not possibly have been prepared for the onslaught of goodwill they were about to witness that night. I stood, jaw gaping wide open, as XOn PointX lay waste the musical stylings of headliners Chain of Strength and Uniform Choice. In a Philly scene still plagued by the "live fast, die young" attitudes of late '70's punk rock, XOn PointX set an entire movement in motion towards positive commitment and the path to righteousness. It would be nearly 2 years before the release of a classic demo. With giant labels such as Revelation and Dischord moving towards indie-rock obscurity, XOn PointX found themselves without a home to release an EP and eventually called it quits. I can still recall the scent of the beer, from the smashed bottles, at the last show in 1989, the final show at The Garage. How would four 10-12 year-old kids affect Philly HXC so deeply?! It seems unbelievable!!!" Straight edge by band consisting of members of Ink and Dagger. Demo recorded in 1996.

Search | Add | 2 | Soccom | Adam | Adam, born in 1989, he plays and produces under his alias Soccom. He comes from Lodz, Poland where he met Pylon and Yabol. With them and Switch Technique they merge a collective named Mechaplex, which aims to produce the most energetic genre in electronic music - technodnb. His name is recognizable thanks to early productions released on T-Free, Flight Recordings, and of course forthcoming tracks on Sinuous, Venom Inc. and Nerve. His style is not defined, but it's sure that in his productions he wants to pass as much energy as possible from Techno, within the guidelines of Drum and Bass. |

Search | Add | 2 | Sarah Ellen Dunlop | Dunlop was considered a pioneer to her peers in the 'gay' community when working in that environment as a musician / songwriter. Being a Canadian openly gay woman put her in a unique marketing position, not only for her singing but for opening one of the first gay & lesbian bars in Toronto, called the Music Room. She founded one of the few openly lesbian bands in the early 70's, called Mama Quilla and also ran her own label imprint "Sara Ellen's Homemade Records" . Sara Ellen Dunlop died from affliction of cancer in 1978. A new band formed after her death and in honor of Mama Quilla, they called themselves Mama Quilla II. They released one 12" 45 in 1982 and from it I picked the song "Angry Young Woman."

The lyrical content is inspired by the wilderness in the remote highlands, and the attraction for the surrounding inhospitable but magnificent glens and mountains . Step into the unknown and feel the sheer force of the elements upon your bodies . A musical combination of raw primitive energy with some great dialogues between both guitars transporting the listener through these distant and unforgiving landscapes.

Search | Add | 2 | Luigi Risotto | Colin McEwan | Australian TV comedian, television presenter and actor. Born 1941 Scotland. Died 21 August 2005, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Best known for appearing on both stage and TV versions of The Naked Vicar Show, and for his role as "Bob Bullpitt" in Kingswood Country. McEwan migrated from Scotland as a child, & was a long-time breakfast announcer on 3AK radio in Melbourne, where he created the character of taxi driver Luigi Risotto, and also made regular appearances on the TV variety program In Melbourne Tonight. In 1975 Luigi recorded a single for Fable Records a version of Rolf Harris’s “Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport” b/w “If I Should Plant A Tiny Seed Of Love” (FB- 240). But McEwan was most popular for the stage and TV productions of the irreverent Naked Vicar Show in the 1970s and Kingswood Country in the 1980s, in which he played Datsun dealer Bob Bulpitt, the annoying brother of Kingswood-mad Ted Bulpitt. |

Search | Add | 2 | Dascyllus | Tim Nugent and Tom Belton | Dascyllus are South London based producers and DJs Tim Nugent and Tom Belton. A chance encounter in a Surbiton pub was eventually followed by a first studio session from which emerged a deep, progressive breakbeat track with plenty of nuskool leanings, 'Odessa Keys'. This found its way in to the hands of Hybrid with another track, 'Floating Point', and the two were soon being dropped in Hybrid's sets everywhere from Glastonbury to the Glade festival. |
