Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

After the cd Ghora released for Beatperminute, Panùm comes out with his second act: Puda, a techno ep for the new born netlabel Homework Records. Panùm has been playing through several events, like Homework Festival (Bologna),Murato (Radio Città del Capo Bologna), Flippaut Festival (Bologna), Amore e Rabbia (Crotone), Street Rave Parade (Bologna) and purposed his lives and dj sets at Cassero (Bologna), Tpo (Bologna), Star City (Bologna), Barcone (Rome),SeOne (London),Enjoy (Naple). Panùm has even participated as a guest to the Blue Room project at Rialto SantAmbrogio (Rome) and as opener dj for the dj set of Darren Price (official Underworld dj). Although Joe Ingham was the first of many famous names to have the honour of conducting the Arion Choir, it was not until he handed the baton to Isaac Thompson in 1890 that the choir ventured into the competitive arena. In was in 1910 that Lawson Berry (pictured on right) took the Arion to compete at Caergwile (Wales) where they took first prize and Bardic Chair. This was the first time a Chair was ever brought out of Wales.Over many, many years the unique sound from the Arion Choir has been widely recognised by people like Sir Thomas Armstrong, who for many years was a most respected adjudicator of Choral Music. It could be said that the choir hit one of its peaks during and after the 1980’s. The choir won many Festivals and Competitions, which included the Llangollen International Eisteddfod (a record 5 times), the BBC Radio Wales Choir of the Year Competition, The Elgar Trophy and many more.The choir has also appeared at the Royal Albert Hall and the Festival Hall in London. They have also visited Germany, Vancouver, Budapest and Ireland and have made very recent appearances (and continue to do so in 2012) at the prestigious Bridgewater Hall – Manchester. | |

Meskoud passe deux ans à Béchar - service national obligé - ce qui lui a permis de chanter juste et maîtriser la frappe. Il reste un chanteur de quartier même si grâce à l'amitié et à la complicité de Mohamed Er-lkachid, un féru d'histoire musicale, il arrive à passer à la télévision. Ses activités se limitent à la célébration des mariages jusqu'au jour où la belle chanson El-Assima le révèle au grand public, en 1989. Ce texte personnel qu'il a toutefois commencé à chanter depuis 1987 dans les fêtes est un beau texte, intense, vrai et plein de nostalgie. À l'origine de ce petit chef-d'œuvre, la destruction, pour rénovation, du vieux quartier d'El Hamma où il est né. Il n'a pas pu tenir le coup lorsqu'il a vu la grande boule en fer écraser sa maison. Après, le poème a pris progressivement de l'ampleur pour donner Ya Dzaïr ya El Assima. At the turn of the century, when the first major wave of Russian Jewish immigrants settled in America, Chicago's Maxwell Street became famous for its open-air Sunday marketplace crowded with Jewish pushcart-peddlers--an institution which has survived in the hands of fresh waves of immigration. The band was named in tribute to the spirit of Chicago's early immigrants. In 1983, Lori Lippitz founded the Maxwell Street Klezmer Band. In the years since, Maxwell Street has become the Midwest's most popular klezmer band, touring numerous times in Europe and performing throughout the U.S. including Carnegie Hall. Audiences of all backgrounds are delighted by Maxwell Street's high-energy performances that glow with warmth and humor. Our Performances have been staged across America and Europe. In 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2007 and 2009, the band performed concerts across Europe including in Germany, London, Munich, Vienna, Amsterdam, Enschede and The Hague. In 1998, the band gave their debut performance at Carnegie Hall and at New York's Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center. He started entertaining folks at the age of 15. Around that time also, he wrote his first song called “The Yodeling Symphony”. By 19, in the late 1930s, Rudy and his wife to be who also grew up in an orphanage hitchhiked to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, where he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force until the end of World War II. Being an excellent artist he opened and ran a sign shop for 47 year. He continued to write songs and entertain. In those days he was know as “Rudy the Yodeling Kid”. I was born in 1944 and was there only child Rudy Jr. Rudy provided Acoff & Rose 12 songs to publish. Some of those compositions were recorded by Wilf Carter and Ernest Ashworth. The song "Pushed in A Corner" was recorded by Ernie Ashworth and reached #11 on the Billboard charts in 1964. Rudy himself recorded for Rodeo Records. But Rudy was not impressed with leaving my home and his wife, Monica, to go on the road to promote his records and career, it was just not his style. He probably passed up a great opportunity. A 1965 article indicates he recorded at least two sides for Rodeo Records and one for Sparton Records in 1964. His notes he had written more than 490 songs over a span of 69 years; most are all love songs. |

At the beginning of 2004, she released the first single from this future production titled "Delirando", which went practically unnoticed by the media, but in the middle of the same year, she released the single Funky Night, which contains an extract from the rap of the song "Goma" by Tres Leches and whose promotional video under the direction of Erik Cotrina gave it the necessary impetus to achieve the attention of the media and the public in Panama. In October 2004, Rolling Stone Magazine Latin America, cataloged her as one of the promises for 2005 in the region and in December she won the awards for Best Female Singer and Best Revelation Artist of the Year at the PanamaRock 2004 Awards which consecrated her as one of the artists of the year. In March 2005, she released her debut CD "Funky Night" to the market, which contains 11 of her own compositions and whose lead single is the song "Hipnotizame", accompanied by a promotional video directed by Alberto Serra, winner of the PanamaRock 2003 Award for best video of the year for the band Polyphase. In November of that same year, she was invited by the international broadcast Radio EXA to perform at the International Fair of El Salvador, where she shared the stage with artists of the stature of Natalia Lafourcade, Reik and El Simbolo.
