Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Ricky Blake | Richard Blanken | Ricky Blake was born in the former Dutch Indies (Indonesia) and moved to the Netherlands after the 2nd World War. It was here that he started picking up his musical career again, but in the early 1960's he moved to Belgium where he and his band The Royals became very successful performing artists. This group recorded 1 single: Opera Twist (which was Ricky's own version of The Black Dynamites single Brush Those Tears) b/w I Want To Love You. After the band split up Ricky Blake hooked up with the legendary Indorock group The Black Dynamites (old friends of his) and together they finished the remainder of the contracts as Ricky Blake and the Royals. After that they started performing as Ricky Blake and the Black Dynamites till 1964 when their ways separated. Ricky Blake moved to Australia and the Black Dynamites went back to the Netherlands from where they would start touring in countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, France, Spain and South Africa. |
| Search | Add | 4 | Los Jemax | Los Jemax | Albert Puig, Andreu Ferreres, Joan Pujol, Miquel Griño and Xavier Amela, five friends from Barcelona, shared their talent to create Los Jemax in the mid-sixties. They played their own songs and covers of the bands they listened to the international radio stations, such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Bob Dylan, The Animals, Wilson Pickett… Their gigs in clubs and discotheques (San Carlos Club, Gogo, Peter’s Club…) were amazing and full of energy. They became a very popular band in their city, specially when they were the winners of a contest hosted by Radio Barcelona. The prize was a contract with Columbia to release two singles. They recorded four songs under the direction of José María Solá, the musical boss of the label. There were published three postcards to promote the upcoming 7”s. But all of them were never released because of intern changes in Columbia. Los Jemax played alongside Los Canarios, Lone Star, Los Sirex, Tete Montoliu, Palito Ortega, Micky y los Tonis… and in several TV commercials. With a repertoire of almost 100 songs that they recorded in the rehearsals at the attic of Joan’s family house, the tapes have been ketp in a drawer for 50 years. |

| Search | Add | 4 | VIBRISSE | VIBRISSE is a DJ/producer duo based in Torino, Italy. Focused on high-BPM hardcore genres while also incorporating contemporary hybrid club influences, VIBRISSE work through fast-paced, unpredictable selections to demolish any kind of separation between music genres, people, and emotions. The duo crafts eventful, energizing experiences on the dancefloor where heavy tracks from all over the hardcore spectrum (uptempo, mainstyle, frenchcore, j-core, gabber, makina) meet with unsuspected bangers from other club realms (slowstyle, edm, 160 club, donk). | Search | Add | 4 | Charlene Beretah | Born at the dawn of the year 2014 in Switzerland, CHARLENE BERETAH first begins its path as a duet, Thierry on drums and Arnaud on guitar / vocals. The band is inspired by styles as sinister as sludge, blackened crust and doom. In 2016 comes a first devastating EP. In order to increase its level of heaviness, the band is joined in 2017 by Guillaume on bass. The Helvetians then work on new titles and test them on various scenes in Switzerland and France. They enter the studio in summer 2019 and record their first album in live conditions to maintain the band’s raw feeling. CHARLENE BERETAH offers a heavy and aggressive music with a cocky, sticky and oppressive atmosphere. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Conceptesia | Conceptesia project born in the first months of 2007. All begin like a game, nights spent listening to music and having very various dj sets, not following a precise way of sound. A boring sunday morning the decision : to produce own tracks. Immediately, in two weeks, six tracks are ready, very simple for the structure but very evocative for the very small period they were composed. Conceptesia put all these tracks in a cd called "Fiorino EP". The persevering presence in the best clubs of north and centre Italy contribute to increase their desire to search something different, something abstract | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Amembal Dinkarrao | Dinkar Amembal | D'Amel or Amembal Dinkarrao If alive, Amembal Dinkarrao or D'Amel (1909-1990) would have been 95 on September 24, 2004. Old time listeners of All India Radio would recall fondly his innumerable compositions used again and again as signature tunes. D'Amel is rightfully called as the Father of Orchestration of Hindustani classical music. It is necessary to differentiate in simple terms how difficult it must have been to set Indian or Hindustani classical themes, melodic and individualistic in nature in orchestration which is infact harmony based as is Western classical music. This very quality highlights the contributions of D'Amel. Though not trained in true Guru-Shishya Parampara in 'Gharana' style on one to one basis, D'Amel was a master craftsman when it came to orchestration. Have you heard of a conductor of musical ensemble without his baton leading the group as it were to its ultimate climax? Have you heard of a lead conductor being a part of the orchestration holding and playing a metal flute providing impeccable listening pleasure? D'Amel did this feat successfully from 1935 to 1966 on All India Radio Bombay Station for over 30 years! Born in Guwahati (North-East tip of India) D'Amel belonged to South Kanara Chitrapur community. He was a singer, harmonium player and conductor of Indian ensemble all rolled into one. Another oddity was he was little hard of hearing and in his later years he had turned totally stone-deaf. V.K. Narayan Menon, a musicologist, Indian Dance Expert and Founder Director of Prestigious National Centre of Performing Arts called him "Beethoven of India". Greatness of D'Amel lies in his expressive way of simplifying Raga music which even a novice could understand. A whole new generation in Independent India was brought up on his music could differentiate raga music from one melody to another. True to the motto of All India Radio, he propogated good music to common radio listeners. In 1947 with Independence came a ban on 'harmonium' - a foreign instrument with French reeds. Though this was a setback, it did not deter D'Amel. He took up simple metal flute and even presented full length events on All India Radio Bombay. He led a life of a saint steeped into spiritualism and ended his life like a Yogi in 1990. Biography by Prakash Burde, September 2005 |

| Search | Add | 4 | Matheos Sprague | Matheos' eclectic and modern approach to energizing original productions and remixing has made a unique niche in the genre of electronica and dance music. Whether it's twisting classic sounds with modern beats, or updating past legends with fresh remixes, he creates a unique vibe for the dancefloor and the lounge scene. Born to a Greek mother and an Irish/American Father, Matheos has had the benefit of being raised in various places around the globe, such as Texas, Germany, Crete, Italy, California, France, Ohio, Thessaloniki, and New York, which is what has led to this new eclectic and worldly method of production and remixing. Being exposed to many different environments and cultures has had an impact on his music and creative process. After high school, which is where he started Djing at school dances and outdoor events, he went on to college at 17 in New York City at Parson's School of Design. For the first year in NYC he was a regular on the show Club MTV, which allowed him the opportunity and exposure to such diverse artists as Big Daddy Kane, Sheena Easton, DJ Easy Rock, Souxie Soux and the Banchees, The Dead Milkmen, Information Society, Samantha Fox, to name a few. His second year of college was spent in Paris, France, where he immersed himself in the European dance scene of the late 80's. He then came back to New York City to finish his degree at Parson's and upon graduating, he landed a high profile design job in Munich, Germany. After 4 years there, he came back again to NYC to work for Tommy Hilfiger. Coming back to NYC is when he started to pursue his production and remixing passions in the studio. Matheos' first project was producing an original album fusing opera and electronica. During this time he also started working with the Greek-Cypriot singer, ALEXIA, producing 3 new original tracks, and remixing her retrospective CD. On the remix front, his first project was remixing ANN MARGRET's remix project, which was used for her North American tour. After doing a remix for MERV GRIFFIN in L.A., and upon Mr. Griffin's suggestion, he was inspired to compile a remix project entitled, 'REVIVA VEGAS', which includes remixes of Vegas legends such as Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Cher, Freda Payne, Peggy Lee, Wayne Newton, Tom Jones, and Liberace. Matheos continues to branch out on various projects such as his new 'GREEK TRAVELS' album, which fuses ancient Greek instruments and elements with modern electronica, 'Electro-Mythology'. Also in the works is a Greek remix compilation titled 'HELLENIC FLAVA', with modern club remixes of such famous Greek artists as; Haris Alexiou, Marinella, Aleki Youvouklaki, [a=Despina Vandi], [a=Anna Vissi], and Elli Kokkinou. His productions and remixes have been played in clubs and lounges around the world such as London, Mykonos, Munich, Los Angeles, Athens, New York, Miami, Paris, and Las Vegas. Matheos is deeply involved in the worlds of Fashion, Art, and Music, and will continue to gel and fuse in new ways the broad arena of global culture. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Two Creeks Farm Hands | Jerome Wojta was born November 5, 1927, in the town of Two Creeks, WI, to Anton and Anna (Kaiser) Wojta. Graduating from Washington High School in nearby Two Rivers, he lived his entire life in the town of Two Creeks on the family farm. Jerome was a trumpeter and bandleader of the Two Creeks Farm Hands for 40 years and hosted the Jerome Wojta Show on radio station WAUN-Kewaunee, just north of Two Creeks. He married Phyllis Mella in 1961, and they had a daughter, Naomi. Jerome worked as a realtor when not playing music. Jerome was always inspired by trumpeter/bandleader Romy Gosz and his “lip of steel.” He learned trumpet with help of high school music teacher, and formed Two Creeks Farm Hands in 1951, taking the name from the fact that most band members lived and worked on farms. Although the band at one time featured a violin, accordion, and piano, the standard lineup consisted of two trumpets, two saxophones/clarinets, drum, and bass, with fairly stable band personnel. Band members included Emil Yindra (saxophone & clarinet), Donald “Red” Zachek (piano & accordion), Celestine Johanek (saxophone & clarinet), Ned Demsien, Eugene Johanek, and Gerald Sinkula (drums). Lamentably, the band recorded only a handful of tunes for the KL and Cuca record labels. Jerome Wojta passed away in Two Rivers on May 28, 2003 at the age of 75. | |
