Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Jorge Eduardo Eielson | Jorge Eduardo Eielson (April 13, 1924 – March 8, 2006) was a Peruvian artist and writer. As an artist he is known for his quipus, a reinterpretation of an ancient Andean device, they are considered precursors of conceptual art. Eielson was born in Lima on April 13, 1924. His father died when he was seven years old so he was raised by his mother. At a young age he developed artistic tendencies: he played the piano, drew copiously and recited poetry. Eielson switched schools several times until at the end of his secondary education he met the anthropologist and writer José María Arguedas who introduced him to the artistic and literary circles of Lima as well as to the knowledge of the ancient civilizations of Peru.[2] Eielson started studies at the National University of San Marcos in 1941. He won the National Poetry Award three years later and the National Drama Award in 1948, when he also held a successful art exhibition at the Lima Gallery. In the same year, he traveled to Paris under a French government scholarship, in that city he exhibited at the Colette Allendy gallery before traveling to Switzerland thanks to a UNESCO scholarship. In 1951, he travels to Italy for a summer vacation and decides to settle permanently in Rome. During this period he wrote the collection of poems Habitación en Roma and two novels: El cuerpo de Giulia-No and Primera muerte de María. In the late 1950s, he abandoned avant-garde and resorts to using materials such as earth, sand and clay to sculpt in the canvas surface; at first he uses this technique to depict landscapes but gradually moves towards human figures represented through clothing of various kinds. In 1963 he started his first quipu, reinventing this ancient Andean device with fabrics of brilliant colors, knotted and tied on canvas. Eielson's quipus were exhibited in the 1964 Venice Biennale to wide acclaim[citation needed]. In the mid 1970s, he traveled to Peru where he devoted himself to the study of pre-Columbian art; during this period, the Instituto Nacional de Cultura (National Institute of Culture) published most of his poetry under the title Poesía escrita. He received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1978 for a lecture in New York.
Search | Add | 4 | Armoniosoincanto | Founded in 1997, it is formed by variable organisms with a prevalence of female voices working (Gruppo Vocale Armoniosoincanto), seeking a vocal purity as close as possible to the interpretative canons of medieval and Renaissance music. The study of pure vocalism is characterized by the linearity and timbric particularity of the voices that communicate a precise transparency and a sound useful to revive the essence of prayer and the word of the sacred texts amplified by ancient melodies.

Search | Add | 4 | Blaze Camo | Blaze Camo formed in NYC in 1995 and featured Jesse Jones (Yuppicide) on vocals, John Lafata (Mind Over Matter, Neglect, Madball) on drums, Trevor Silmser (Awake) on bass and David Acampora on Guitar. The goal of the band was to create a sound that was hard, but different from what they had done before. They didn't want to rest on their laurels and success of previous projects. Instead they chose to push their boundaries and not concern themselves with fitting into hardcore or punk. The result is a heavy, unique blend of musical influences that swells, jerks and drives at you like it wants a piece.

Search | Add | 4 | Hypnotic Kick | HYPNOTIC KICK was formed in July of 1994. The band started practicing in an old garage located at 38 Jefferson Ave., in Springfield's North End. From there came a couple of local bands and HYPNOTIC KICK was one of them. Since then HK emerged on the local and regional Western Mass scene. HK has grown in popularity, and still keep, each year, drawing lots of support. In October of '95 HK released their first demo entitled "FINALLY" on Sike Records, that sold over 500 copies. While planning for their next release, HK continued to play local and regional shows with such national acts as: KORN, MONSTER MAGNET, SEBASTION BACH, HELMET, PAW SBC, TREE, ANOTHER SOCIETY, STAIND, HANDSOM and countless others. HYPNOTIC KICK also had the opportunity to play the 1997 WARPED TOUR. Their second release "Trapped in a Music Box" was put out on CD by Sike Records December 6, 1998. Search | Add | 4 | Johnny Aladdin | John B. Alagna | Johnny Aladdin b. Nov. 27, 1914, Monessen, PA, d. Jan. 14, 1987, Hilton Head Island, SC. Johnny started playing the piano at age five. About 1930, at age 16, Johnny auditioned in Pittsburgh for the Chicago based Husk O'Hare band. He toured with them for four years as the featured pianist and arranger. He also composed many of the band's songs. He attended school on the road, returning home just long enough to finish high school. Later, he also made time to attend Chicago's American Conservatory of Music. After the O'Hare band broke up, he went to work with the Larry Funk Orchestra, out of Cleveland, OH, for three and a half years. There, he worked with music newcomers Vaughn Monroe and Helen O'Connell. Over the years he also worked with the such Bands as The Al Trace Band, about 1946-47 (where Al gave him the "Aladdin" moniker), The Gray Gordon Orchestra, and 'The Eric Langer Orchestra', about 1948-1950. While the piano was his primary instrument, he was also accomplished at: Trumpet, Trombone and Baritone horn. He studied with concert pianist, Professor Leo Ornstein of Philadelphia and he earned a music teaching degree under Ornstein's tutelage. During World War 2, he was a Master Sergeant attached to the 94th Army Ground Forces, then stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. There he organized (as the pianist) a six piece band that toured for three years, with Dick Powell as the movie-star singer, entertaining the troops. This little Army band, called "The Cracker Dust Six", won top honors in a nationwide contest being judged by none other than Benny Goodman. After the war, he formed his own New York based 17 piece Big Band known as the "Johnny Aladdin's Society Band". Among the well known clubs and hotels of the East Coast area they played were the Drake Hotel, the Aquarium, The Mt. Washington, Coney Island, and Umbriago's. When the band went on tour, it often included Chicago hotels such as the Blackstone, the La Salle, and the Ambassador. The band played a 32 week return engagement at the Bismarck Hotel. Starting in the late 1950's, with the ending of the Big Band era, he switched his focus from Big Band and Swing music to smaller trios of Piano, Upright Bass, and Drums playing dinner and dancing music (with a strong leaning toward Broadway Show tunes), at the big hotels in Nassau, Bahamas and all over South Florida. Johnny cut two L.P. records and two 45's during his career. While mainly recalled today as a band leader, he was also a fine song composer. Later, he also wrote commercial Jingles. He was a true gentlemen in every respect, and a musician who was second-to-none. Johnny was 73 when he died. He's buried at the Veterans National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC. |

By the time the project was complete, he had linked up with the earliest form of PX Music, notably DJ Replay and producer Akia, to release the album as the first project through the soon-to-be label. Since then, he has played every city in Ireland, building a reputation for raucous shows. He has since self-produced another album titled "superscumbagmode" to notoriety across the country. GavinDaVinci has been in the lists for top Irish artists from passionweiss, Nialler9 and District Magazine, and also won a fan-based vote for Best Music Video of the Year (2019) through new trend Squick. 2020 has seen him release another self-produced EP titled "Please, don't listen to my shit if you love me". Production credits include; Post Punk Podge, Hazey Haze and Murli. "What differentiates DaVinci and his crew from this current class of rappers is their steadfast commitment to re-imagining ‘90’s street rap through a contemporary working-class Irish lens. It’s like Griselda Records minus the gangster realism and the black American perspective—neo-noir dispatches from forgotten parts of modern Ireland where brawling, drug-fueled binges, unrequited love, and treacherous betrayals are an everyday thing. Just don’t ask them how to cook crack." - Passion Weiss "Plenty of filthy bass-lines, eerie samples, and scumbag based lyricism" - District Magazine “Transcending genres and tearing up the rule book when it comes to writing a hip hop album” – Prima Volta “DaVinci displays a flare for the self aware, penning from a perspective that oozes understanding and maturity” – Nialler9 “Brusque accented rap” – Notion Magazine "A madcap performer who shreds Hiberno-English into bloodstained, zany rap, DaVinci is the group’s ODB, but somehow also its RZA. His refreshingly strange songs show why, and how, the unvarnished rural Irish accent can work in rap." - VICE

Search | Add | 4 | Ninefin9ers | Ninefin9ers➈ is undoubtedly loopy in his love of electrotastic music. Once the serious quatschmaker was the owner of a bar in Berlin-Neukölln, in whose famous-infamous non-official techno-basement all kinds of crazy events took place. Mercifully, the company went bankrupt in 2019 and he finally got the space to focus on his true passion: making music instead of (drinking) drinks. So it’s no surprise that he keeps surprising with a special, imaginative sound. Influences from hip hop, classical music, jazz and wherever they come from do not make it easy to assign his tonal output to a well-known category of electronic music. It ranges from deep, dark minimal techno to groovy acid tech house. On stage he only performs live. Absurd and/or funny passages are then to be expected, but also maybe not, you simply cannot know beforehand. Either way, with ingredients like love, fun and truthfulness, he creates peppery-spicy, energetically forward-floating vibes that gets the audiences' hearts and legs pounding.
