Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | ZimNovich | Ilya Zimnovich & Milla Zimnovich | ZimNovich are a record production duo, composed of siblings Ilya Zimnovich and Milla Zimnovich. They started their first music experiments in the late 1990s with IBM PC and music trackers, following psychedelic trance tunes of X-Dream and Astral Projection, and then rave and breakbeat tunes of the Prodigy and the Chemical Brothers. About 7 singles were locally released during their first collaboration, the Miracle. One of the singles, entitled "Stella", was licensed to Paragon Software Group for their Palm PDA computer game. The other single "Thunder" was an experiment of electronica dark wave and alternative rock. The song was very famous locally in their hometown and was performed live at local festivals. Then, following success of Incognito, De-Phazz, LTJ Bukem, and Miguel Migs they switched to making lounge and acid jazz music. The Ez Presso band was born. They performed their 8 singles at Sensomusic 2006 lounge music festival. In 2014 they returned back to an electronic roots. Now they have finally found their very own distinctive sound with ZimNovich. Their current genre is a mixture of New Beat, Techno, Electroclash and Neo EBM. They also work in different styles like Synth-pop, Alternative Rock, Trap, Hip-Hop, Industrial, Dark Wave, IDM, EDM and Dubstep. |

Born in 1947 to a poor family in Korea, she was only 3 years old when Communist forces in the north began attacking their fellow Koreans in the south in 1950. When the first bomber roared over the family’s village in rural South Korea, Kim’s father told the family to lie flat on the ground and cover their faces. But Kim looked up just as a bomb exploded, and after that day, she could only see shadows and faint outlines. Read more at Billy Graham clink link below. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Lars Ekengren | Örnsköldsvik, Sweden With a voice that maneuvers effortlessly from a heartrending intimacy to a matter-of-life-and-death roar, Lars Ekengren challenges the very best at delivering a song in a way that leaves no one untouched. Native of Örnsköldsvik, a small town on the coast of northern Sweden, Ekengren grew up to the sound of Ronnie James Dio coming from a cassette player and his father playing jazz trumpet in the basement. Though an engineer by trade, music has been the common thread in Ekengren’s life. In the late 00’s he started performing with original songs, often colored by his five-year stay in the US in the early decade. Following the state win in a song contest hosted by Swedish radio in 2013, his entry song ”153 More Days” got a fair share of airtime and the growing of a fan base slowly started. In 2015 came his debut release, the live-feel EP ”Dirt”, which was well received and served as a stepping stone for landing opening gigs for acts such as Drew Holcomb, Uncle Lucius and The Thousand Dollar Playboys. Ekengren’s debut album ”Monsters” (2018) is a gracefully arranged and well produced collection of songs that certainly brings more to mind than a middle-aged engineer from a small town in the north of Sweden. Blurring the lines between pop, rock and alt-country, ”Monsters” showcases Ekengren’s acute sense for an infectious melody, his powerful lyrical imagery, and – much thanks to his vocals – a persistent energy that this genre of music is not spoiled with. Reflecting on ”Monsters”, Ekengren says: ”It has taken my entire life to write this album – both literally and figuratively. It’s a collection of songs that echoes of fear, pain, happiness, sorrow, love, memories, hopelessness, confusion, resignation, hope, anxiety, alienation … well, pretty much everything and anything that fits into one’s existence. Despite it being my first album – it’s my legacy, of some sort.”. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Stephanie Staples | Stephanie Staples has spent half her life captivating audiences with her rich, dynamic, and soothing voice. Passionate and expressive, Stephanie has the keen ability to connect with a wide variety of audiences. Her strong stage presence and down to earth nature enables her to communicate, entertain, and inspire. Stephanie has been involved in music ever since she was a little girl, first participating in musical theatre and studying vocal performance under the direction of three different vocal coaches. She began singing professionally at age thirteen, appearing at music festivals, conferences, churches and other venues. A gifted songwriter, Stephanie has recorded six self-produced albums. The first, Breathe on Me—an easy-listening acoustic album with soul-searching lyrics—was released in 2001 and again in 2003 to include two additional songs. Her second project, Face to Face was released in 2006, and Journey Home followed in 2007. Over the years, Stephanie has been privileged to work with (and learn from) some of the best musicians in the business, including Grammy Award-winning guitarist Bill Hatcher (Henry Mancini, Luciano Pavarotti), Mike Pachelli, and Ronnie Ciago. Hatcher has been a consistent contributor on all six of Stephanie’s projects, including her latest release, Interlude. Each of Stephanie’s albums has a unique sound but all portray the same quality: genuineness. Over the years many listeners have commented that her albums are “soothing” and “an experience.” This quality can’t be faked—Stephanie has faced the darkness, having passed through suffering and hard times, and she pours the full depth of her experiences into her music, taking the listener on a journey with her through the dark times—yet always in the presence of true peace and redemption. Sing Over Me (2010), is an eclectic album, with each song having a distinct flavor, prominently featuring Latin, organic, and classical elements along with creative percussion and strings (cello, violin, upright bass). This diversity of sound centers upon a single theme—that of learning to accept life’s uncertainties and discovering peace. In 2013 Stephanie released a Christmas record, Emmanuel. Stephanie has traveled across the United States and all the way to China to share her music. Her long list of credits include festivals, retreats, universities, schools (elementary, middle, and high schools), churches, conferences, campus ministries, multiple centers for disadvantaged youth/inner city ministries, military bases, and shelters for the homeless. She has performed before 20,000 at New Zealand’s Parachute Music Festival, joining Third Day’s Mac Powell for a powerful rendition of the duet, “God of Wonders,” has made many trips to Brooklyn, New York to minister at Teen Challenge, an organization founded by David Wilkerson to help the addicted, and has opened for a variety of artists including Third Day, Tammy Trent, Newsong, and Jaci Valasquez. Her passion to encourage and bring light and joy to people has been a motivating force in continuing her musical journey for over a decade. Stephanie currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, Erik Rostad, daughter Scotlyn Naomi, and two fur children, Java and Edward. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Bud Petal | Eran Asoulin | Bud Petal is the stage name of musician Eran Asoulin, who with his band has now released 4 albums. His music has been described as “cerebral art-folk”, “a true outsider, a freak-folk wunderkind”. He was “discovered” when his self-produced first album was pulled from the trash at a local radio station. A self-taught musician from The Levant, he spent his teenage years immersed in the bohemian/DIY art scene of Newtown, Sydney. His music collides Mediterranean 70s/80s folk pop (Lucio Battisti, Nada Malanima, Aviv Geffen), the Middle Eastern/Arabic music of his childhood (Marcel Khalife, Oum Khaltoum) and from the West: early Joan Baez and elements of free jazz. His voice is a glorious, glissading din with stuttering vibrato. Lyrically you’ll find an oddly surreal, socialist-humanist world with strands of Emile Zola, A. B. Yehoshua, Yaakov Shavtai, Andre Breton, Noam Chomsky, Naomi Klein, and John Pilger. As well as receiving airplay in radio stations all over Australia, in Berlin, in Paris, and in the United States, Bud Petal has curated and featured in shows at the Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide Fringe Festivals. |
