Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Make room!”). [EN] Soylent Green Project proposes a live musical experience that goes up or audiences through different imaxinary planes thanks to the atmosphere that creates two themes in each one. Pure energy gives distortion of a rock song with a two-sixty airs, to a dark and intoxicating blues; dunha progressive fish that harmonizes the telluric history of Chicxulub, ao they are futuristic of Little Tokio; A powerful, heavy riff that sings a Brontosaurus to a swing-tinged groove in honor of Panxea. Get hooked, of course, with precise and precious solos from each of two members, especially the great Galician guitarist Óscar Insua "Jumpin". A different instrumental proposal. Unha proposta, instrumental, diferente. |

Search | Add | 3 | Roger Henrard | 10 février 1900, Paris / 26 juin 1975, Croissy-sur-Seine.

Search | Add | 3 | Sacripolitical | Sacripolitical (1983 – 1993; 2019 - present) is a punk rock band from Marin County, CA. The name Sarcipolitical is a reference to the band members’ attitude toward politics. Just as a person who is sacrilegious is irreverent toward the sacred, Sacripolitical plays songs, like “Peace: Under our Supervision,” “The Nihilist Void,” and “Napalm Baby” that are politically and philosophically irreverent. During the 1980s, Sacripolitical played parties, underground shows in warehouses, in barns, and on the bill with other bands like Ludoviko Technique, The Pukes, Complete Disorder, Fang, Frightwig, and Camper Van Beethoven. In Marin they played at The Sleeping Lady, The Flashback, The Novato Theater, and The Warehouse. In San Francisco, they performed at the 6th St. Rendevous, Club Chameleon, Club Foot, and other venues. Some shows ended in philosophical conversation; some ended in near riots! They made a lot of friends, a lot of enemies, and had a lot of fun. In 2019, Sacripolitical reunited, playing parties and shows at College of Marin and The Makeout Room before the pandemic hit. They have used their shelter-in-place time to record new songs that are sure to annoy a whole new generation of listeners.

Search | Add | 3 | Ludwig Wittbrodt | The Duo Ludwig Wittbrodt, that‘s Emily Wittbrodt on cello and Edis Ludwig on laptop and drums. The two develop a thicket of sounds and melodies that absorbs us in a completely unpretentious way and fills us with associations and warmth. Sometimes in the jungle, sometimes under water in the desert, we are reminded of the achievements of both Krautrock and Neue Musik, of early electronic music as well as Drone and Ambient. At first glance, Emily and Edis seem to be an unequal couple. She has an academic background as a cellist, he is self-taught with his main instrument being computer and programming. She is active in Free Jazz, he drums with the rock band Düsseldorf Düsterboys. On the other hand, both have been active in the Free Improv scene in the German Rhine-Ruhr region for years - for example in ensembles such as The Dorf or Hilde (Emily) and Nasssau or Transport (Edis).

Search | Add | 3 | Jackie Storrar | Jackie Storrar was raised in Kirkcaldy just outside Edinburgh and attended the same school as Gordon Brown, the last labour prime minister. Music was always her first love which was to take her to perform in over 80 countries worldwide, from the early days at school and in church to Country festivals, cruise ships and theatre shows. Jackie quickly became a media person after being given the chance to present her Country Girl show on Dundee's Radio Tay, the first female Country jock on the station. This led to other media work and the chance to be the breakfast jock on Island Sound Radio in Malta. This soon encompassed tv work and eventually to her performing live all over the Island. Jackie all this time maintained her songwriting skills which led to her becoming a premier presenter on CMR Nashville from 2009 to 2011. Meeting her husband to be on a cruise ship she married Steve Theibault in 2003 and a great musical partnership was born. It was only in recent years that Jackie’s health has caused her to stop performing.

Search | Add | 3 | جرمانوس شحادة | Metropolitan Germanos (Shehadi) of Zahle and Baalbek was a hierarch of the Church of Antioch who attempted to become the successor to Bishop Raphael of Brooklyn as leader of the Syro-Antiochian parishes in North America after the saint's death. Met Germanos had come to America in 1910s as a visitor, raising funds for an agricultural school in his archdiocese in what is today Lebanon. Metropolitan Germanos Shehadi of Zahle was a diocesan bishop in the Lebanon area of Syria in the second decade of the twentieth century who, before Bishop Raphael died in 1915, came to the United States of America to raise funds for an agricultural school in his own diocese of Zahle. Zahle is a mostly Christian area in today's Lebanon with primarily an agricultural economy. After St. Raphael's death, Metr. Germanos remained in America and campaigned to become his successor as the leader of the Syro-Antiochian parishes in America, claiming to be the representative of the Patriarch of Antioch. Those who wanted to be under the jurisdiction of the Church of Antioch formed parishes under Metr. Germanos, and he eventually formed his own rogue diocese in 1916 This group became the basis of the later split in the Syro-Antiochian mission. Metr. Germanos remained in America despite many orders from the Antiochian synod in Damascus calling on him to return to shepherd his own diocese of Zahle. Much of Germanos' success amongst the Syro-Antiochians was based not only on his fine singing voice and great charisma, but also because he was well known and related to many clergy and parishioners from the Zahle region. As a result, many of the parishes that followed Germanos eventually became part of the Antiochian Archdiocese of Toledo, Ohio under Metr. Samuel David, who also was from Zahle. In 1919, Metr. Germanos also supported the establishment of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada by acting as their temporary bishop at the UOCC sobor of November 27, 1919. Metr. Germanos finally returned to his own diocese in, then, Syria in 1933. April 7, 1934, Metropolitan Germanos Shehadi died in Beirut.

Search | Add | 3 | The City Squires | Parma, Ohio 1965-70. The City Squires were a long lasting and very popular band in the Cleveland and northern Ohio band scene, releasing three 45s. The band was started by junior high students Jim Brickner (13 years old) on guitar and Roland Solomon (12 years old) in 1963. The original band, named the Jaguars after the car, included Jim, Roland, and Tom Sitzler (drums). Tom Kent (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) joined the band a few weeks later, and when Sitzler left soon after, Tom brought in Dale Zack on drums. Dale and Tom were from Middleburg Heights while Jim and Roland were from Parma. in the fall of '66 the City Squires disbanded for a few months. Roland Solomon left the band and Greg Burnett from the Canterburys was brought in to replace him. Jim Brickner and Greg Burnett organized a new City Squires by hooking up with another Parma band, the Set LTD, and from that group Jerry Colvin (keyboards) and Gus D'Angelo (bass) joined, along with Bill McCracken (from the Canterburys) on drums. In the new City Squires, Greg emerged as their lead singer, sax player, trumpet player, and front man. In the summer of '68 Jim Brickner had a brief argument with a couple members, apparently over a PA system, and left for a few weeks. During this time the band performed as "Pye Jones and the 28th Day Ragtime Band" with Greg Burnett adopting the stage name "Pye Jones" (to this day he's not sure where that came from).

Search | Add | 3 | Rouge Brulé | The band/project Rouge Brulé can be defined as experimental, avant garde free form jazz and minimal cosmic psychedelia. Rouge Brulé tries to push the boundaries and explores new scapes, incorporating granular techniques and improvisation. Free form with no set structure or pre-determined chord progressions, allowing for complete creative freedom. This is Minimal cosmic music with simple, repetitive rhythms and patterns, relying on a stripped-down instrumentation. They incorporates elements of space and synthetic sounds, creating a surreal, otherworldly experience. Infused with elements of psychedelia and incorporating trippy soundscapes and mind-challenging textures. This is repetition with subtle changes and synthetic drones. These become a mass of sound, motion and vibration.

Search | Add | 3 | Lanz End | Lanz End (sometimes stylized Lanz-End) was formed in 1988 in Akron, Ohio. By 1989 they had built a large local following by playing many shows alongside some of the more highly-regarded local acts like Andromeda, Autumn's Ruin, Sacred Heart, Real Steel, and Beyon Devon. By the end of Summer 1989 they were headlining their own shows and co-headlining several of the weekly "Original Heavy Metal Night"s at the Akron Agora with Andromeda, Autumns Ruin and others. They also received extensive coverage within Cleveland's web of Heavy Metal based local and college radio shows, with a live version of "Too Soon Forgotten" receiving significant airplay and the band appearing for interviews and having their show schedules announced. Perhaps the most important shows that that covered them were Bill Peters "Metal on Metal" and (now well-known music photographer) Joe Kleon's "Metalmorphosis", with Metalmorphosis even doing a live broadcast of an entire Lanz End/Andromeda co-headliner at the Akron Agora. Kleon began working closely with the band on several levels and in 1990 they released their debut cassette "Secrets" on Kleon's Metalmorphosis Productions. By 1990 they were playing exclusively headlining shows, usually between 14 to 17 songs each, and they began drawing national attention, including earning the interest of Metal Blade Records. In late 1991 however, they parted ways with brothers Derek Lashua and Brett Lashua (known for his precise drumming as "The Foundation"). They soon formed a Hard Rock band with ex-Montez founder Dan Montez called Fashion Police, which was active until Montez's murder in 1995. After a year-and-a-half hiatus, and recruiting new members Duane Davis (having just left (Shadowplay) and Phil Wise, Lanz End returned to the live circuit, and began playing with national acts (their live return itself was at a co-headliner with Dream Theater). During this time they began the recording of their debut full-length "Tales Untold", which (had it been finished) likely may have been released by Metal Blade). Unfortunately problems within the band caused them to split up before it ever was completed, and in 1993 they disbanded for good. The Lashua brothers currently play in an 80's Hard Rock/Heavy Metal tribute band called 1988 alongside Legion founder Dave Belanger.
