Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 16 | Garra Blanca | Garra Blanca (White Claw) is the title given to a barra brava that was created in Chile by the supporters of Santiago based football club Colo-Colo. It is one of the three largest and most important barras bravas in the country, the other beings Universidad de Chile's Los de Abajo (those from below) and Universidad Catolica "Los Cruzados" ("The Cruzaders"). In early 1986 a youth movement gave rise among the various supporters of Colo-Colo imitating the Hooligans. Amid the military regime of Augusto Pinochet, marginalized members of Chilean society decided to unite and form a voice of identity.[1][2] Over the years the group has been associated with widescale violence. Fighting with security personnel, the Chilean national police, and other team barra bravas is a common occurrence. Garra Blanca leaders are reported to have an unofficial relationship with Blanco y Negro, the corporate entity that is in charge of Colo-Colo. The board of directors deny such an alliance and have only stated that the barra brava is recognized for stadium safety reasons. | |

| Search | Add | 16 | E23 | Brian K. Comerford | Best-known for being co-founder of Colorado's longest-running electronic music radio program, Electronic Air on KGNU-FM [kgnu.org], E23 (Brian K. Comerford) has established a sonic-art track record for being a "music worker". His output, as both a DJ and producer, adheres to what he identifies as "illclectronic", often equally informed by electronic dance styles as well as esoteric sound sculptures. Where Electronic Air has largely been an outlet for more conventional electronic dance music and sub-genres, E23's solo and collaborative audio productions have historically tended toward syncopated glitches, droning ambience and art house sound installations. His interest in electronic music began at an early age (the 1976 release of "Sequencer" by Synergy was highly influential, as was the 1968 recording of "Switched-On Bach" by Walter Carlos), and he procured his first synthesizer and electronic drum kit in 1983, coinciding with the standardization of MIDI technology. Beginning original electronic music compositions at the age of 12, he has continued to cultivate sounds primarily in the experimental and underground fringes of electronic music ever since. Citing Throbbing Gristle, Coil, and Psychic TV as major influences, his original works tend to veer between noise, atmospheric, and beat-infused, utilizing numerous samples. He was also a producer in the first wave of Internet Radio. Having co-founded RadioValve.com in the mid-1990s, E23 helped spread the evolution of electronic music and rave culture both on the Web and FM airwaves. He began DJing "Metamorphosis Radio" in 1989 on WPSA-FM at Paul Smith's College, New York, and continued FM broadcast in Texas during 1991-1993 where he also emerged as a club and rave DJ. Relocating to Colorado in 1993 while continuing that work, E23 also began producing a variety of radio programs at KGNU-FM the following year, as well as teaming with Pirate Sound System. The majority of that crew eventuated into the core production team that co-founded KGNU's Electronic Air in 1995, where E23 remained the sole original founding member for over two and a half decades. He additionally co-produces the leadership and technology podcast, >Lead.exe_, and periodically live streams on Twitch. E23 has performed across the state, the nation, and internationally as both a DJ and live producer. He archives many of his mixes on Mixcloud, and selected original tracks on Soundcloud and YouTube. He typically records under his E23 moniker, reserving an alias, Scat, for Hardcore Techno and Dark Ambient productions. Both individually and with long-time collaborator devslashnull, he has produced several collaborative works with lyricist/poet Chris Mosdell (YMO, among many others). He is a member of the "folktop" outfit, OVNI. |

His choral book, "Crusade Choir Vol 1" sold over 500,000 copies in twenty-two years. His instrumental books were also very popular. Many denominational hymnals include his various songs. At nineteen he composed "Each Step I Take", which has been recorded by hundreds of artists in many languages, including Slim Whitman and George Beverly Shea. While participating in evangelistic crusades in South Korea in 1981, he discovered the song to be a favorite among Christians there. It is loved and sung around the world. His song "What A Glad Reunion Day" is in the 20th Century Fox 1998 movie "The Thin Red Line". Elmo and his wife, Marcia, traveled over 30 years in church music evangelism, going into all fifty states and various denominations. Having become an ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) member in 1957, he was honored at a Dove Awards banquet at the Nashville office for being a 40-year member back in 1997. He receives annual awards from ASCAP for outstanding work in the gospel music field. Mercer was church pianist for Park Avenue Baptist Church in Nashville for over 38 years. He still resides in Nashville today and is now leading music from the keyboard at Scottsboro Baptist Church. |

| Search | Add | 16 | J.M. Valle | Jose Valle, Jose Manuel Valle, H/M, The Homeboy Mad, Thee Midas Touch, | Executive Producer, Songwriter, Publisher, Graphic Designer, Promoter, Writer of [l1244578]. J.M. Valle grew up in East Side San Jo (California), just blocks away from historic King and Story Roads. Mr. Valle’s grandfather came to the United States under the Bracero program, a government program that helped fill farmworker labor while a majority of Americans were serving in World War II. Mr. Valle’s parents were both farmworkers who moved to San José in the late 1970’s during the height of San José’s low-rider capital to work on the computer assembly line. While Mr. Valle’s parents were chasing the American Dream, Mr. Valle endured a flawed education system, police harassment and brutality, and everyday survival of the barrio. J.M. Valle founded the Souleros Ball in 2009, which undeniably was the first public event where Rare Oldies (Soul Harmony/Low-rider Oldies) record collectors gathered to spin their prized collection in front of a live audience. The Souleros Ball indirectly embarked on an entire movement and market encompassing Oldies vinyl nights, old school cholo artwork, and contemporary recordings of the Rare Low-rider Oldies sound. Although the Souleros Ball showcased live performances since its inception, the Souleros Ball became a game changer in 2011, after a live performance by Myron and E of Timmion Records (Finland, Europe). This event constructed a bridge between contemporary recording artists and the Raza. At Mr. Valle's request, Myron and E performed a cover of The Exit's "Under the Street Lamp", which later led to a record contract with Stones Throw Records. During the same year, Wax Poetics Magazine released a cover story of the growing Chicano Rare Oldies scene which featured Mr. Valle and his contributions to the movement. In 2015, J.M. Valle wrote and directed the screenplay for the The Jack Moves "Joyride" (Wax Poetics) music video. The music video depicted la Chicanada with cameos of OG Dave (Barrio Brawler), Victor Barrera (Duke of Earl Movie), Roberto Hernandez (SF Lowrider Council), and Big Serg (The Principal). Filmed in San José, San Francisco's Mission District and Oakland, the video is also dedicated to Sonny Madrid, founder of Low Rider Magazine and Teen Angel, both of which had their break in San Jo, and passed during the same year. After trial and error, J.M. Valle formed Thee Baby Cuffs made up of Joe Narvaez, Gilberto Rodriguez and Dave Herrera and began his songwriting and producing career. In 2017, Mr. Valle self released a rendition of Larry Sanders’ “Where Did Peace Go” backed by The M-Tet (Bay Area). Mr. Valle re-worked the lyrics to describe the plight of Raza and re-titled Larry Sanders’ protest song to “Where Did Our Pride Go”. Digital formats and streams were released during anti-presidential inauguration protests nationwide when Trump took the White House. A 45 release followed during the same year on Cinco de Mayo. The following year in 2018, Mr. Valle wrote a song titled, “My My My Baby” about his early relationship with his wife, getting married and having a family, yet challenged by family members who naturally wanted to shield their baby girl. “My My My Baby” was recorded as a demo which never came to surface at Chris Lujan's (Lugnut Brand Records) studio bedroom. Cold Diamond and Mink (Stylart, a subsidiary of Timmion Records) cut an uptempo version which gave both Mr. Valle's songwriting and his group, Thee Baby Cuffs an international platform. In 2019, J.M. Valle released a reissue of Suenos “Baby I Love You” with the Spanish version as the B-Side for the first time on 45. J.M. Valle previously reached out to band leader Frank Lizarraga to perform at the Souleros Ball in 2013 in the band’s hometown in Sacramento, Ca.. Suenos “Baby I Love You” was originally pressed in 1982 as a single on San Jose’s Luna Records with a Spanish version released on their album the following year. The Spanish version never cut as a single and the sought after English version never made an album release making this reissue unique. Aside from Mr. Valle’s music career, he also wrote for Street Low Magazine making two cover stories, one of which being R&B Bay Area artist, Davina. Mr. Valle also broke the Souleros Ball in an article he wrote in Street Low Magazine which had Benjamin Bratt starring in the La Mission movie as its cover story. Mr. Valle also wrote for Teen Angel Magazine including its cover story of tattoo artists Pistolero Viejo which was also the last issue to print. J.M. Valle has also curated various art shows featuring art from prison and local artists. Lastly J.M. is known for his work in the community including prison reform, prisoner’s human rights, working with youth, historic preservation and mural advocacy. |

| Search | Add | 16 | Lenny McKinnon | Lenny (William, Leonard, Len) McKinnon was the man behind several record labels from the Reading, PA area that existed during the 1960s, all sharing the same address at 411 Gordon St. He often receives Writing, Arrangement and Production credits on the various releases from these labels. His name appears on other Reading and Philadelphia-area releases as late as the early 1980s. McKinnon's name appears in Record World directories published in the 1960s and 1970s, listed as a Record Manufacturer, Tape Manufacturer and Duplicator, Distributor, (McKinnon Record Dist. Co.) Rack Jobber ( McKinnon Record's Dist.), One Stop (United, Dept 1-A) and Personal Manager (Hit Artist's Management, Performing Artist's Representation). These businesses also share the 411 Gordon St. address, and share a phone number with a (215) area code. A PO Box in area code 19601 is sometimes given. Similar listings and attributions are found in the July 8, 1967 issue of Cashbox. In the August 31, 1968, Section 2 issue of Billboard, under the entry for Slide, Beulah F. Coad is listed as the label's General Manager. A "Coad" was a co-writer of the songs found on the release [r15763214] In the September 22, 1973 issue of Billboard Buyer's Guide, McKinnon is listed as the owner of the following labels: McKinnon, Center City, Hit Kingdom, Holy Cross, Margie, Movieland, Reading, Slide, Tammy, Alabam, Manna, Backstage, Bluegrassive, Cypress Garden, Emarage, Johnny Reb., Middletown, Ohiophone, Orange Grove, Otisville, Super Soul Shonograms, Surface, Topside, Tridelta, and Virginian. A publishing company, [l=Slide Music Pub. Co.] (ASCAP), is listed as well, along with a host of affiliates. McKinnon is listed in the July 7, 1979 issue of Billboard as the owner of McKinnon Pictures/Rec Co. The label manager is listed as Phyllis Gray. The most extensive mentions of McKinnon can be found online in the blog posts of an unknown man from New Jersey (possibly Mark Wayne Mohr), who writes in rambling style across several Wordpress/Blogger blogs including Morianity Foundation, Mountainpen, The Epitome of Harassment, RATS, TATS, & PLAYING REAL FOOTBALL, To Whom It May Concern From The Head Morian, Morianity Bible For Millenium Three, etc. While the veracity and lucidity of these posts is questionable, the blogger may have been a contemporary of McKinnon and a recording artist/musician in the Berks County/Philadelphia/New Jersey area. These posts portray McKinnon in a negative light. Two blog links with search results for "McKinnon" are included in the Sites section. | |

| Search | Add | 16 | Dolly Kay | Dora Kirschenbaum | Dolly Kay (12 June 1900? – 26 August 1982) was an American vaudeville singer who recorded in the 1920s and was one of the first white singers to incorporate blues songs into her repertoire, most notably "Hard-Hearted Hannah". Details of her life are obscure. She was probably born Dora Kirschenbaum in New York City in 1900. She lived with her parents in Westchester, New York, and worked as a stenographer. According to a Los Angeles Times article in 1923, she was so inspired by seeing a vaudeville performance a few years previously that she introduced herself to an agent, who auditioned her and immediately hired her. She began performing as a singer on the Orpheum Circuit, with pianist Phil Phillips, who remained her accompanist for at least the next twenty years. She was described by one reviewer as "one of the better hot type vocalists... a distinctive singer of her day". She recorded for Columbia Records between 1921 and 1924. Her first recording, "Cry Baby Blues", was made in New York in October 1921, and the following year she had commercial success with "You've Got To See Mama Ev'ry Night (Or You Can't See Mama At All)", which she recorded with Frank Westphal and his Orchestra. Her biggest success came with "Hard-Hearted Hannah", which she was one of the first singers to record, in 1924. She also recorded several other blues songs from Tin Pan Alley songwriters, including "Wabash Blues" (1921), "Sweet Man O' Mine" (1922) and "It Takes A Good Woman (To Keep A Good Man At Home)" (1926). Her later recordings were released on the Harmony label — a subsidiary of Columbia — and finally, in 1928, by Vocalion Records. She also used the pseudonyms Margaret White to record for Lincoln Records, and Sally Freeman on Harmony, and recorded as a member of two vocal groups, the University Six and the Georgians, led by trumpeter Frank Guarente. She continued to perform in vaudeville and cabaret, in Chicago and elsewhere, in the 1930s and 1940s. In 1942, Billboard reported of a performance in Chicago that she was "long a favorite in local spots... Dolly Kay (with Phil Phillips at the piano) is of the old stock and sells tunes with the force of a veteran...". Her last known performance was in Los Angeles in 1965, when she appeared in a variety show to honor the 40-year career of theatre and movie star Fifi D'Orsay. She died in Los Angeles in 1982, at which time she was also known as Dolly Riccio. |

Playing drums, bass, guitar, and Keyboards, D still considers himself to be a simple singer & songwriter. Music production has been a recent addition to his portfolio and one he has quickly taken to. He has been working to help other up and coming acts, and ‘delivering the goods’ for already established artists. This website will be the central hub of all things related to the evolution of artist D M Kruger. |

| Search | Add | 16 | Pete Cassell | Born 27 August 1917 Cobb Country (Georgia). Died 29 July 1954 Inducted into the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame (1984). Member of the WSB Barn Dance and WWVA Original Jamboree. "The King of the Hillbillies" Considering the quality of Pete Cassell’s music, he could have been among the top names in country music had not certain circumstances conspired against him. As it was, he was an extremely popular radio artist, with an impressive reputation at WSB Atlanta and WWVA Wheeling from the late 1930s to the late 40s. Blind since infancy, he died at the early age of 37, leaving a small but powerful group of recordings that he made for Decca, Mercury, and the Majestic labels. His vocal style—which influenced several other country artists including Eddy Arnold—could be described as achingly soulful, but that doesn’t do full justice to a man who definitely had a way with a poignant song. | |
