Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 8 | Street Barrel Organ | A barrel organ (also called roller organ or crank organ) is a mechanical musical instrument consisting of bellows and one or more ranks of pipes housed in a case, usually of wood, and often highly decorated. The basic principle is the same as a traditional pipe organ, but rather than being played by an organist, the barrel organ is activated either by a person turning a crank, or by clockwork driven by weights or springs. The pieces of music are encoded onto wooden barrels (or cylinders), which are analogous to the keyboard of the traditional pipe organ. A person (or in some cases, a trained animal) which plays a barrel organ is known as an organ grinder. These organs were sometimes called Street Barrel Organs due to their portability and were often heard in various locations. Jacinto Joaquín Oliveros Gavilán was born on September 11 in 1945, in Cayo Hueso (Havana), after studying flute at the conservatory García Caturla debuting as a professional with the orchestra Sensación conducted by the mythic Rolando Valdés, where Abelardo Barroso sung, passing by Melodías del 40, and later with the genius Pedro Justiz (Peruchín Jr.) In 1973 he decided to change his way, and became a member of the Combo de Senen Suárez, but Joaquin is an ambitious man and he continued his career on the orchestra Jorrín and the orchestra of Pancho Bravo where he stayed just about of one year, attracted by the Latin –Jazz, he accepted the proposal of Emiliano Salazar, he also accompanied on his jazzistic period to Frank Emilio, Bobby Carcasés and Chucho Valdés, among other celebrities. | Search | Add | 8 | The Knowe O'Deil Band | The Knowe O'Deil Band hail from Orkney. its members had been playing for many years in ub sessions in and around Orkney before forming the group more than 10 years ago. Since this time the band has seen many talented Orcadian members come and go. There is a good tradition of music in Orkney, although there seem to be more tunes than songs. Very little of it has been heard outside Orkneny itself. There is an Orkney folk festival every year, held in the town of Stromness in May, and occasionally ceilidhs are held throughout the county. All members of the band are self taught Most of the tunes are Orcadian tradition, some of them are from famous native fiddlers. Remarkably enough, this is the first revivalist LP of folk music on the Orkneys. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | Tristan Eaton | Born in L.A. in 1978, Tristan Eaton started pursuing street art as a teenager, painting everything from billboards to dumpsters in the urban landscapes of the cities where he lived, be it London, Detroit, or New York. He designed his first toy for Fisher-Price at 18 years old and soon became a driving force in the world of designer toys. Eaton's work for Kidrobot, including the famous Dunny and Munny art toys, helped him achieve international renown and an ever-growing fan base. After forming his Creative Agency Thunderdog Studios in New York City in 2004, Eaton became a leader in the advertising and commercial-art spheres, and is regularly commissioned by a roster of clients that includes Nike, Versace, and even Barack Obama. These days, Eaton is one of the most prominent street artists working today. Eaton’s large scale mural work features a meticulous, visual collage of pop imagery mixed with his unique personal style, all executed with freehand spray paint on a colossal scale. Eaton now focuses on his Fine Art and large-scale mural work full-time, which can be found in dozens of cities across the globe from Paris to Shanghai. Eaton’s work can also be seen in the Museum of Modern Art's (MoMA) permanent collection. | |

At his center for natural healing and Chinese medicine, Bernd Gauly felt at an early stage how touching rhythms, sounds and melodies are, how they relax and go to people in special ways. | Search | Add | 8 | Jon Alkalay | Growing up in Brazil and later moving to Austin, TX, exposed me to so many different influences.... but it all started at home, my dad was a classical music aficionado and wonderful baritone and my mom, who immigrated from Portugal, continues singing Fados beautifully. Besides these huge influences, I grew up listening to different Latin, American and European pop, rock and EDM, which is all reflected in the music I make. But my main inspiration are the 80s synthpop bands such as Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Duran Duran... I moved to the US in 2000 in the midst of the music industry collapsing due to all piracy and internet, which ended up forcing me to take a new direction in life. After many years in the corporate world, I decided it was time to let my music come out and live my dream. By the way, that is what my first single is about, Putting Myself First! | |

| Search | Add | 8 | John William Burrows | John William Burrows was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He loved the piano and took to playing before he was school-age, around the age of four. His mother was a pianist and recognized the talent of her young son, nurturing that talent all the way through John's high school years. John Burrows served his country during the Korean conflict. He was not shipped to Korea but instead was sent to post World War Two Germany where he served as a chaplain's assistant. While serving, he had the opportunity to apply his musical skills, and began to explore the keyboard. Returning stateside, he was accepted at the Crane School of Music at Potsdam, New York. As an applied piano student of James Ball, John received the coveted Senior Recital Award with graduation. A career of teaching music in public schools in the state of New York was followed by a period of self exploration and travel abroad and across the United States and Canada. A romantic man, John Burrows loved the music of the great European composers of the 19th century Romantic period. One of his favorite journeys was tracing the life of Chopin. John prided himself on his athletic ability and well as his dedication to his beloved instrument. His daily routine included long distance running, tennis, golf, ice hockey, hiking or skiing. This was always preceded by two hours of practice that included his favorite Russian exercises and running scales and arpeggios up and down the keyboard. Afternoons and evenings, Mr. Burrows was back at the piano, either performing or working out his pieces. Mr. Burrows passed away in November of 2012. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | Tekscape | Michael McCrum, Aidan Fusco | Michael McCrum and Aidan Fusco aka "Tekscape" first met at their local record store in Northern Ireland during the mid nineties. Instantly both guys realised that they shared the same passion for electronic music, in particular the rave scene of that time, encompassing all genres from house through to hardcore and everything in-between. The live recordings from local events such as Hellraiser & Vengeance, which were held in the now infamous Ulster Hall in Belfast during the early to mid-nineties exposed both guys to a diverse range of sounds. International DJ's such as Carl Cox, Lenny Dee and Pablo Gargano who were playing alongside local legends such as DJ Binman and Judge Dredd were delivering the most upfront trance, techno, hardcore, jungle & drum n bass releases of that time. The guys credit their diversity as both DJ's and Producers to their exposure to such a wide range of styles within electronic music from a very early age. The "Tekscape" project was born during 2019, with a series of releases to-date under labels such as Gabberhead, Mokum and D-Force Techno. Individually, with 20 years of experience behind them across many aspects of the rave scene including DJ'ing, Event Promotion and even working in local record stores, the guys intend to take the "Tekscape" project as far as it can possibly go. |

The first few albums were recorded completely using 4-Track and external cassettte machines, and in a very rudamentary fashion, using a couple of synths and drum machines. The recordings were done straight onto tape, without any signal processing, giving the material a raw sound. | Search | Add | 8 | Eddy Akridge | Eddy Akridge | Courage and determination helped earn Eddy Akridge his fourth world bareback riding championship. The cowboy, born Jan. 8, 1929, in Pampa, Texas, had rolled to three consecutive world titles in the early 1950s before suffering a potentially career-ending knee injury. Ignoring his doctors’ advice to quit rodeo, he went on to have his best season ever. Akridge later reinjured his knee and was forced to retire. At the same time, he gave up his seat as bareback riding director on the PRCA Board of Directors. He wore a heavy brace for two years. But in 1959, Akridge decided to pursue a fourth world title. He retired the brace, endured the pain, and in 1961 captured his fourth world title. World championships: 4 (1953-55, 1961) Born January 8, 1929 in Pampa, Texas Died July 25, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada |

| Search | Add | 8 | Nils Ahlroth | Nils Erik Ahlrot | Swedish actor, comedian and revue artist, born April 19, 1920 in Skivarp, Skåne, died June 24, 1991 in Staffanstorp, Skåne. He started out as a carpenter and performed at the beginning of his career as the unicycle-riding peasant comedian Skånska Nisse. He joined the choir at the Hippodromteatern in Malmö in 1938, was engaged at the Malmö City Theatre from 1944 to 1950, and in 1952 formed his own traveling revue company, which he toured with until 1978. Several of his revue numbers are documented on gramophone records and are still played on the radio. One of the best-known Ahlroth numbers is the couplet Skall skall icke skall. A recurring character in Ahlroth's revues was the cunning soldier Frisk. A confusion sketch and a lady imitation performed by Ahlroth himself were also among the obligatory features. During a period in the 1980s, Ahlroth was engaged at the Sagoteatern in Sölvesborg. He became popular for his role as a property manager in the TV series N.P. Möller, property manager, which was broadcast in several episodes from 1972 to 1980. For that role, he received the Expressen newspaper's award for best TV actor in 1973. Ahlroth also made several film roles, including as an impoverished tenant in [a552058]'s Den enfaldige mördaren in 1982. He made his last appearance in a New Year's revue together with Swedish actor, comedian and revue artist, [a7693334] in Kristianstad in 1990. |
