Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Jan Leef | Very little documentation exists on Jan Leef´s life and career. “Jan Leef” is probably a stage name he used when he privately released his one and only LP “We Will Survive” in 1972 on Gypsy Sound, a label established to the occasion. Very few copies were released (estimated to 200, “Rare Danish Records 1958 - 1977 - Inspiration and Priceguide” by Jan Rørbæk) and they never came out in regular record stores. Most of the copies were probably given away to friends and family members. His music is described as downer loner folk-psychedelica and some even compares Jan Leef with contempoary Nick Drake. No records are available on the web about any live events where Leef has performed his songs from 1972. “We Will Survive” has never been repressed although Jan Leef has been approached recently by interested people. According to rumors “Jan Leef” is still an active composer, but details are blurred and unconfirmed leaving the same mysterious aura around this unique artist who, maybe accidentally, made a little rough diamond unknovn to even hard core folk connoisseurs. Recent sale of his record came as high as to 800€, which is remarkably given the fact that Jan Leef is still unknown to the vast mayority of the folk community as no copies of his LP are available. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Joseph Eid | Since the release of his Human LP, Folk-Pop artist Joseph Eid has been garnering considerable buzz. He has been featured in American Songwriter Magazine's “Best New Music” column and was recently named as one of the 100 Hottest Live Unsigned Artists by Music Connection Magazine. His song “It's Only Love” will be in a new Independent film starring Sharon Stone called “All I Wish.” His latest EP, Watch It Fall, was released in Spring 2017. No Depression music journal called it “mesmerizing, mind blowing and empowering.” Joseph has been writing poetry and dreaming of a career in the arts as long as he can remember. He grew up in the suburbs of New York. Raised in a strict and traditional home, the arts were only supported as a hobby and never as a career. During his college years, Eid studied psychology and pre-med. After his first semester at med school, his dream got too big to hold and Eid made the bold choice of dropping out to move to New York City to pursue music. While in New York, Joseph Eid picked up a guitar, joined a band, and the songs poured out of him like rain. His journey then led to Los Angeles where he started playing regularly at open mic nights and showcases. Shortly after, he began working with world-renowned guitarist/songwriter, David Lamar, honing his songwriting at weekly showcases at the Stone Bar. This lead him to write over 30 new songs as well as record a debut EP, Cardiac Output, followed by a full-length LP, Human. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | TON_ | TON is a studio experiment from Berlin placing and designing noise, diverse rhythms plus a wide range of sounds in sonically rooms. The project discusses the changing of connotation, meaning, expression and perception through re-contextualization, staging and alienation of a note, a sound, a sequence or a genre. Thus and inspired by the city they live in, TON creates an uncanny, sometimes monotone, sometimes complex environment. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Corey Mathew Hart | “Corey Mathew Hart is one of the Midwest’s most gifted songwriters” — The Isthmus From the time Corey Mathew Hart started singing at a young age, his voice has amazed audiences. “The human voice is such wonderfully complex instrument. So often, words can fail to portray the whole meaning or idea you are trying to get across, but in song you can convey more emotion and add more depth and dimension to the written word,” says Hart. And he does just that with a voice and songs that earned Hart two MAMAs (Madison Area Music Association awards) in 2011, one for best male vocalist and the other for best Folk/Americana album. Most recently, Corey won the Overture Rising Stars competition in 2014 and has been selected as a finalist in the 2015 NewSong songwriting competition. His latest project, Lost Lakes, is turning heads both locally and nationally. | |

Ever since the Summer of 2010, the band came to a sudden halt when original drummer, Nick Jannuzzio moved away. However, the band recently acquired drummer, Dan Gagnon (ex. Internal Fear) in the Winter of 2010. With the acquisition of Dan, the band is now progressing dramatically and is now able to play shows again. From Newark, DE | |

| Search | Add | 2 | فاطمة تيحيحيت | Fatima Moujahid | Fatima Tihihit Moujahid, whose real name is Fatima Moujahid, as her name suggests, is from the Haha region in the western High Atlas. She started singing professionally in the early 1970s. We met that she was married several times by her father very young and in spite of herself. She ends up divorcing to join the troop of Raïs Jamaâ El Hamidi then of Raïs Lhaj Mohamed Demsiri before forming her own troop. For the fourth time she got married, this time giving up the life of an artist. She recorded her first album with the song "Ur gigh a Baba Tamuzunt", Fatima Tihihit Moujahid begins by reproaching her father for treating her like something that is bartered. His protest is aimed in particular at the way in which he sees their report. She reminds him of his true nature as a human being that requires a different kind of relationship. Ignorance of the true nature of beings can have dramatic consequences. The constantly threatened woman (ittawhuwwal) and whose only fate is humiliation (tadallit), heartbreak (attan) and dread (lhuf), lives a hell described minutely by the singer. Raïssa Fatima Tihihit Moujahid, the most popular of Souss owes her success to great old songs like "Arka Yalla lmaswak", "Lhob D Lhawa", "Ah Alitchin", "Ayamarg", "Walbaz Ouriga Asmoun". |

| Search | Add | 2 | Brianne Curran | is an improvising violinist from Sydney, Australia currently living in Berlin (since 2015). Having played the instrument since the age of 3, she has a background in numerous musical fields but her focus is on improvised music and its tangeants. Relationship between artist, environment and audience is of major interest in her approach to music making and its developments. Also of interest is how to break the box of ‘the violinist’. From 2004 she lived in the ACT and then the Blue Mountains in NSW. During this time she focused herself out in the Australian bush often in isolation, exploring ways to express and connect with the surrounding landscape, the moment, and space through music. She returned to her home town to complete her Bachelor Degree in Music (performance) as a scholarship holder in 2008 (ANU/AIM). Back in Sydney, Brianne got in touch with projects such as the Splinter Orchestra and the Nownow festival, initiatives founded by double bassist Clayton Thomas. For 6 years she was band leader and manager of world/jazz quintet Takadimi founded in 2009. The band toured extensively throughout NSW and the East Coast of Australia, and released their debut album New Common Sense through MGM in 2011. The group gained widespread recognition throughout Australia via the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and numerous other radio stations and press around the country, such as national newspaper The Australian. Brianne’s teachers have been Mr Yasuki Nakamura, Janet Davies, Jane Brownlee, Chris Duncan, Shi Yuan Jur, Shaykh Ibrahim Al Ansari, Adrian Keating, and Greg Coffin. Within Australia, she has performed at numerous festivals including the Melbourne International Jazz Festival (VIC), National Folk Festival Australia (ACT), Woodford Folk Festival (QLD), Illawarra Folk Festival (TAS), Cygnet Folk Festival (TAS), Peak Festival (NSW snowfields), and most recently with musicians such as Clayton Thomas, Mary Rapp, and also Alex Nowitz and Sophia Brous at the Nownow Festival in Sydney (NSW) last year. Being only a newcomer on the Europe scene, she has already toured numerous times through Poland and Germany (Berlin, Leipzig). Currently she performs regularly with the Krakow Improvisers Orchestra, and also with numerous musicians in different combinations in the Berlin improvised scene. | |

After teaching herself piano and beginning to compose her own songs, Rhatigan attracted a manager and a publisher, and continued to try to pin down a record deal through the late '80s; when a friend played her tape for executives at Imago, her career was launched. Rhatigan chose Fred Maher to produce To Hell with Love, her bluesy 1992 debut that included guest appearances from the likes of keyboardist Bernie Worrell and singer/songwriter Matthew Sweet (who played bass). However, Imago folded shortly after the album's release, and her career stalled. Four years later, Rhatigan resurfaced with the LP Late Developer. In 1998 she released the EP Big Stick on her own Cushy Productions imprint. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Gong Expresso | Gong Expresso was the latest branch of the massive [a=Gong] family tree, formed in 2018 as the reunion of core members of HR3 (Hansford Rowe's trio) with two former members of [a=Pierre Moerlen's Gong] (of whom Rowe was also a founding member). Their one-off album 'Decadence' was recorded in Paris, and was initially planned as the second album of HR3, with participation of Hansford's old compatriots from France, François Causse and Benoît Moerlen. This near re-iteration of the Pierre Moerlen's Gong rhythm section (Hansford, François and Benoît) finally resulted in this new band christened after the title of the album [m27835] in which they all played together for the first time in 1977. | |
