Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026

Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

He and his wife Dee Drennon, split off from her family's Branson revue (The Presley Mountain Music Jamboree) and started their own venue in the early 1970s, the Crossroads Auditorium in Nixa, Missouri, near Springfield. A few years later, in 1975 they pulled up stakes again and moved to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, where they opened a 900-seat venue called the Pine Mountain Jamboree. The Drennons ran Pine Mountain as a family business for over thirty years, eventually selling it to a fellow Bransonite, Mike Bishop, in 2006.

After a short break to refresh our creative batteries, Skitzafit is ready for round 2. With sharpened skills, new material and comfort ability for the stage that is unmatched. This 4 piece beast from the mid-west will devour it's listeners and pummel them into submission, leaving no trace of doubt in anyone's mind who they are and what they've come to do. The sound is raw, the message is clear...

Search Add 3 Yakima Jera Coldwave/minimal artist Dark Wave flows to End Wave Yakima Jera is a duo from Regensburg and Munich that produces synth rhythms and dance beats with vocals and guitar. Founded in 2022, the music can be attributed to a mixture of synth-pop, dark-wave, and electronic music with a touch of 80ies sound. Fascinated by the beauty of nature, the aesthetics of city darkness, the Bavarian Forest at night and the great emotions of people interactions, a cinematic music construct is built. A mélange of the joy of Joy Division, the poems of Patti Smith, the bleakness of Black Metal and the guitar sounds of 80s and 90s pop/punk influences the danceable dynamic sound of desire and reality.
