Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Evil Farm Children | Taking their name from a synopsis of the B-grade, horror flick, Blood on Satan’s Claw, EVIL FARM CHILDREN is a raw and raunchy trio from Canada’s capital with a reputation for intense stage shows. Their sound is real rock’n’roll, with a roots-rock flavour. The band can easily do a rocking surf instrumental with the fervor of Dick Dale, and, in a heartbeat, shift gears to roll right into a rockin’ rockabilly rave up, or a Stooges influenced, feedback infused, pounding rock’n’roll song. Formed in the summer of 2005, this trio was regularly playing many of Ottawa’s live music venues, as well as traveling to play various clubs in Toronto, Montreal, London, Hamilton, Peterborough, and several other towns in Southern Ontario. They performed at the 2008 Ottawa Blues Festival, one of the most popular music festivals in North America. Their original material, as captured in their recordings (see below) matters most, but for their live shows, the band likes to have fun by whipping out some heavily “Evil-ized” versions of songs by the likes of Max Webster, Dick Dale, Black Sabbath, Tom Waits, Deke Dickerson, Link Wray, The Cramps, and The Runaways. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Blackwall Hitch | Hardcore band from Milwaukee/West Bend, WI. Active in the early 2000's. Band members include: Vocals: Jeff Winkowski Guitar: Andy Freeburg Bass: Trevor Broskowski Drums: Eric Gorecki Vocals (post 7"): [a2482688] Blackwall Hitch was a hardcore band started by Andy Freeburg and myself (Jeff Winkowski) shortly after 9/11, while I was putting the finishing touches on “What Do we have to do” (A Violent Femmes Tribute), and folding my music magazine, Actionman. Andy and I were really longing to get back into a primal hardcore band and be very serious about the production of the records and prolific in our frequency of playing out. We also were keenly aware of the sound we wanted, now in our mid twenties. The move at the time was the Cave-In faux prog. stuff which I liked but it did not fit the urgency of the music we were trying to manifest. Thus, we auditioned a handful of technically proficient drummers and bass players and wished them well. Enter two kids: Eric Gorecki and Trevor “snake” Broskowski. They were younger than us and just as no frills, yet had the chops to play fast and hard and the desire to practice religiously. Trevor gave us the name of our band and of our seven inch ( “Milwaukee Burning”) and Eric gave us four takes for four songs in our recording session, no mistakes after doing thirteen shows with us in just a two months. We recorded on 1/4 inch tape at Eugene III’s studio ( The Etiquette). We were all really pleased with the grit and the quality at once that both the tape and Eugene’s supervision provided. The night we did the back up vocals we invited a youth crew. Jeremy Ampe and the Laval Blessing guys were in attendance as were some really young punk rockers who were hanging out on Brady Street. Lighting started striking nearby and the tape machine began to hiss. The equipment was not easy to replace nor was it cheap. We called it a night and did the backups the next day by ourselves. The record turned out great and after two seasons more of shows I moved to Chicago. I gave my blessing on our buddy Dan from [a6148530] (Thrash and Burn) to take over on vocals. We were all friends. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Schismatique Destruction | Schismatique Destruction were a french trio who was active from 1996 to 2000. The band was formed by three people who were making some noisy minimal dark wave songs. Lyrics are very dark and deeply depressed with a lot of black humour. Members were Guillaume and Smoothy, the singer and the keyboardist both previously in Le M, a New Wave duo and Monsieur Jean-Pierre on guitar who also do music under the alias Kalachnikov since the early 90s. Monsieur Jean-Pierre and GM met during a training session for unemployed artists. The band follow a concept called the Blitz : The music is principally improvised when lyrics are written in a very short time. It's a concept already used by GM and Smoothy when they were drawing together and in their previous band. They released only one tape in 1997 distributed by KAP, the Kalachnikov tape label at the time and songs in a compilation "At home with you" also by KAP. They've split two times. At the end the project SD become Section Morne who follows an other dogma. The sound of Section Morne is really repetitive with heavy bass and guitars riff and deep lyrics. The band definitely stop in 2001. A repress of the first album, digitaly remastered was done by Fougère Cassette in november 2013. The second one was never released it was issued by Fougère cassette in late 2014. | |

DJ Mora, grew up in Marrakech, city where the worldwide cultures mix with the Moroccan traditions giving it a worldwide single character. In 1991, Mr Mora obtains his Bachelor diploma and 10 years afterwards, he obtains his PhD in environmental sciences. Since he was a youngster, Mr Mora listened to all kinds of music, from classical ones to the darkest passing through the Blues, Jazz, R'n'B, Pop, Funky, Rap, Hip Hop, Arabic. His passion for music pushes him to organize and plays in parties where he could bewith his friends, and it is there that he discovers his talent of being a producer. To make his friends feel the tracks differently, Mora, still amateur DJ, acquired a computer, dating from prehistory and some audio softwares to be able to compile his tracks. And there, it happens! The desire for producing his own tracks took possession of Mora. Y2K! An era where things are moving fastly, new technologies are developed and EDM takes seat among the music of rising generation. Thus Mr Mora falls in love with EDM. Being of nature independent, he wants to be identified with a kind of music which shows at the same time his origins and involves them in this new era where we live. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Cde. Chinx Chingaira | Dick Chingaira | Chinx is a short name for Chingaira. He was born in Rusape on September 27, 1955. He was married to Catherine Mazuru who died in 1996. Chingaira attended Chigora Primary School in the Makoni District of Rusape. His interest in music began when his primary school headmaster, Martin Dhlamini, encouraged him to sing and to join the school choir. On completion of secondary school, Chingaira got a place to study medicine overseas but he failed to acquire travel documents and the whole plan failed to materialise. Then in 1974 he worked at an engineering plant in Msasa, in Harare. At the end of 1975, Chinx joined the Second Chimurenga war in Mozambique. As much as he was a fighter his love for music made him a full-time organiser of theZimbabwe African National Union Patriotic Front(ZANU-PF) People’s Choir. The choir that was formed was called Takawira in honour of the late nationalistLeopold Takawira. Takawira Choir became just but one of many other choirs which boosted freedom fighters’ morale during the war. Chinx had joined the guerrillas with the sole aim of liberating Zimbabwe but found himself being the leader of the Takawira choir which in no time changed its name to the Zimbabwe African National Liberation Army (ZANLA) Choir, which acted as a morale booster for the fighting cadres when Comrade Mhere Yaraira who led the group was transferred. Chinx's musical skills were later realised at independence in 1980 when he returned to Zimbabwe. He soon teamed up with Bennie Miller and Keith Farquharson to record his early chimurenga hits “Ngorimba”, “Zvikomborero” and “Nerudo”. The band soon developed to include Don Gumbo of Ilanga and more hits were recorded between 1982 and 1987. Chinx pursued a multitude of career options. Shortly after leaving Ilanga he pursued a solo career. He has also acted in films (1996’s Flame), as well as writing the score for the 1989 South African documentary Limpopo Line. After a short stint with Ilanga he moved on to team up with Mazana Movement Bandand then later with Mazana Black Spirits. His hit song entitled "Vanhu Vose VemuAfrica" translated "People of Africa" captures the essence of humanity and unity in the face of injustice and unfairness. Its last line-up included musicians Bruno GI Joe (vocals), João “PX” Pinaud (guitar and vocals), Lucas Benevides (guitar ), Maurício Machado (drums) and Ricardo Sá (bass and vocals), with Ricardo being the only remaining member of the original line-up. In 1999, Bendis played for the first time in another state, at the 4th Edition of the Goiânia Noise Festival. After that, he also played in São Paulo, Curitiba and Minas Gerais. In September 2001, the band entered the studio and recorded five songs from the EP “A Primeira Vez é Inesquecível” (2002), when bassist Ricardo became the official composer. At the end of the same year, the band Bendis made its second performance in São Paulo, including a debut at Hangar 110, a mandatory stage in the country's rock scene. He also began to frequent websites, magazines and newspapers. Still in 2001, guitarist Lucas joined the band to improve the rare solos in the middle of SKA's chords. In 2003, Bendis played in cities such as Araruama, Petrópolis and Rio Bonito. He also participated in a four-show tour in the interior of São Paulo and, in 2004, played at Bar do Blues, São Gonçalo; Bunker – RJ; Jet Club da Barra – RJ and in Araruama. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Charley Hager | CASHBOX: Charley Hager has been consistently cracking the Top 100 national country music chart with his releases, on the L'il Bill Records label, during 1988. Now, here's the amazing aspect of Charley's rise to country music prominence, in his , own words..."I never sang through a microphone in my life, until about six months ago!" As of this writing date, Charley's latest single, "Candy Kisses," is #82 on the charts. Friends, that's not too darned bad for a guy who just started! In fact, that's not too bad for someone who has been around for a long time. Charley's wife. Ethylene, is his most ardent fan and works very, very hard in his support. She was '.the one who made Charley do I something with his first love...country music. So, Charley (from Clovis, New Mexico) made "contact with Tommy Dee (his Nashville producer) and Tommy was immediately impressed with the honesty and believably in Charley's voice. They are now working on Charley's first album, which is scheduled for release in early January. They have released two singles, both charting in the Top "100. And, I had the pleasure of listening to Charley's next, soon-to-be-released single, "Men With .Broken Hearts". It is a beautiful country recitation of the old Hank Williams, Sr. song. Not since the late Red Sovine have I heard a recitation of this quality. You see, Charley makes no pretense about the fact that Hank Williams, Sr. has always been his hero. He says, "Hank wrote songs that were so simple and, yet, so true. He had a magic way of appealing to the people and driving his musical messages home." Charley Hager is not a pretentious man in any way. He is a true country performer. I agree with Tommy Dee...his sincere approach is new and refreshing in a traditional style. Some people might describe Charley Hager as recording material that is 'dated' in today's country market place. Those people know neither Charley Hager nor country music! Charley and Ethylene can add one more pure country fan to his admirers.. .me!" Joe Henderson ----- Charley was also known as "The High Plains Drifter" | |
