Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Ida Andersson Band | IAB | IAB started out in 2013 as a one night band celebrating the women of the blues. But they loved playing together so they continued throughout 2013. Original songs started to emerge and the funky bluesy kind of "IAB Sound" started to take shape. 2016 saw the release of their first album "Funk 'n' Blues”. Recorded in Fårösund, by David Stiby. In 2018 they released "IAB TVÅ” recorded in Capstan Studios, Stockholm again with David Stiby. The album featured guest appearances from blues celebs Lisa Lystam and Ida Bang. The 25th of May gig at Joda in Visby was recorded for a live album. The album was recorded by Fredrik Larsson and mixed summer 2019 by Martin "Konie" Ehrencrona (of Viagra Boys fame) and released August 20th (streaming only). In spring/summer of 2020 writing sessions for ”Fyra” started. The album was – as with all previous releases – recorded live. All basic instrumental tracks on the 17th of October 2020. And a few retakes the 18th. The vocal tracks on a session a few weeks later. The album was recorded and mixed in Studio Massarve by Peter Otberg and mastered by Linus Larsson. Fyra was released in April 2021 as streaming only. Finally in January 2023 a vinyl LP version was released. Form the original 2013 line-up singer Ida Andersson Jupiter, drummer Johan Larsson, bass player Edvin ”Räkan” Holm and guitarist Christopher-Robin ”Garbo” Maurin are still with the band. In 2016 they were joined by singer and Rhodes player Linn Klintberg. (Text from Spotify.) |

| Search | Add | 3 | ODIOSORDO | HC/Black Metal from Vicenza (Italy) ODIOSORDO came to life by an idea of Marco and Paolo (bass and drums with Demontain) during the early months of 2016. The aim since the very beginning focused on creating something extreme, able to move over what the due early band has been capable of achieving until then with its previous incarnations. The mix comes to develop in a HC/BlackMetal hybrid where Matteo offers his vocals, eviscerating personal experiences in lyrics. Music and words are here merged in a hateful and corrosive blend. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | A. F. Thaviu | Tevye Feiman | American conductor (1876-1945) based in Chicago. Alexander Francis Thaviu was director of an early 20th century concert band that was described as “International” or a “world famed Russian band.” Indeed, many of his recordings from the late 1910s were marketed to Czech, Italian, Polish, and Swedish audiences, but others were military marches and patriotic (American) tunes. “Thaviu” was born Tevye Feiman to Abraham and Rachel Feiman in Zvenigorodka, a town south of Kiev, Ukraine in 1876. The family, which included six children, emigrated to the United States around 1890, and by the 1900s had settled in Canton, OH. Within a few years, Thaviu, a cornet player, found himself in Chicago leading a popular band and “company of Russian singers and dancers,” and became prominent on the Chautauqua Circuit, a kind of ‘adult education’ alternative to vaudeville, popular in the first half of the 20th century. At the time, a newspaper described Thaviu as “that little bundle of nerves, energy and genius.” His son, Samuel Thaviu, was born in Chicago, and became an acclaimed violinist, concert master and music professor at Northwestern University. In the early 1920s, the family returned to Canton for a few years, where Samuel passed his early high school years, and a newspaper referred to Tevye as “Prof. Thaviu Feiman.” Samuel eventually became concertmaster of the Pittsburgh Symphony, and in November of 1945, A. F. Thaviu passed away while visiting his son there. Thaviu and his wife, Ida, are buried in Canton. |
| Search | Add | 3 | Sundown and/or Last Stand | Sundown and/or Last Stand (SAOLS) is the electro-acoustic construct of Melbourne based composer and producer Adam Hunt and best known for their vibrant acoustics and engaging performances. Formed in 2003, SAOLS is a musical shape shifter whose form melds and transforms from the individual to the ensemble, from modest to ostentatious. Hunt's works blend musical mediums in a framework that is driven by an interest in the rhythmic and aesthetic precision of electronic music, the melodic composition of classical music and the pure raw energy of punk. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Holy Ghost Church Choir | Church choir from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The choir was organized early in the twentieth century during the pastorate of the late Reverend Aloysius Fretz. Father Fretz's love of music and his adherence to the best liturgical traditions inspired the choir in its beginning years. His successor, the late Monsignor Scott A. Fasig also took a keen interest in the choir. In 1933, faced with the task of finding a replacement for an organist and choir master, Monsignor Fasig turned to the youth of the Parish, in whom he was most interested. He selected [a=Francis L. Mies], a twenty-two year old protege of the first organist and choir master, Mr. Henry Rohs. Under the direction of Mr. Mies the choir expanded from a membership of twelve to forty-five. World War II left the choir with few young singers, but at the war's conclusion the choir was revitalized. The repertoire included liturgical music with Latin Masses by Perosi, Carnevali, Bach, and Stahle. English and German hymns and motets became the music characteristic of the Holy Ghost of the forties. In 1946, St. Bernard's R.C. Beneficial Society invited the Chorus to be the nucleus of the "Samaritan Glee Club." The purpose of this secular group was to entertain at social and civic functions. The Glee Club demonstrated its versatility in their renditions of light classicals by Beethoven and selections from operettas by Romberg and Friml. Other choices include American marches, patriotic tunes, rolling sea chanties, medleys of barbershop quartet music, Negro spirituals, and novelty songs. In 1961, Reverend Reginald S. Billinger, D.D. was named pastor of Holy Ghost Church. Father Billinger provided the choir with the same inspiration for "God's Glorification" as did his predecessors. The choir implemented the changes in the liturgy approved by the Second Vatican Council, and can be heard singing English Masses and other selections of English liturgical music. The choir was honored by being the first Lay Choir to sing a High Mass at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. The choir is the nucleus of the original Pageant Chorus which furnished the background music for the Lenten Pageant, "Behold the Man of Bethlehem," a production of Catholic Pageants, Inc. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Blackguy | Blackguy spent his youth in the streets of north side Omaha. The St. Joseph, Missouri born rapper moved to Omaha, Nebraska at the age of eight. In 1991, he ran into producer L-Mac-N and has been dropping rhymes over hot hip-hop instrumentals, honing his clever lyrics and street knowledge over whatever style of beat thrown his way. Blackguy is a veteran rapper who established a name for himself in 1997 as member of the group Full Clip. The debut album entitled “Stuck In The Game” (distributed by ichiban) became an underground classic and Blackguy was an immediate standout. His distinctive style, articulate delivery and his humorous but hard-hitting wordplay has always set him apart. Even now he is one of the most under-rated MC’s in the Midwest region. His current independent album “Think About It” is being released by StatusOne Recordings through Black Smack Records; a label founded by Blackguy and long time friend and producer L-Mac-N. In 1998 Full Clip’s second release “Late Night”, hit the underground market but unfortunately Ichiban; the company responsible for the groups distribution, filed for bankruptcy. Just one year later Blackguy made the decision to release a compilation album with Shonuff Records entitled “Back Stage Pass” followed up with his first solo album “All About Me”. As Blackguy’s entrepreneurial spirit continues to thrive Black Smack Records will release remixed versions of all Blackguy’s independent label work as well as more albums and compilations from Omaha’s finest. | |
