Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

He founded and managed [l937337], a label that operated primarily between 1976 and 1978 that issued a range of Zambian popular music, including Zamrock, Kalindula, and Zairean rumba. The label functioned in part as a promotional extension of Ndhlovu’s furniture company, Chris Furniture Ltd., which he continued to operate into the early 1990s. Through Chris Editions, Ndhlovu released recordings by artists such as [a2526617] / [a2526617], [a1009664], [a4764121], and [a7963765], contributing to Zambia’s evolving musical landscape during the 1970s. | Search | Add | 10 | Los Pibes Trujillo | Ecuatorian brothers Marco Oswaldo, Luis Enrique and Juan Ernesto Trujillo Echanique are better well known for their Christmas Carols album as "Los Pibes Trujillo". The artistic name of the group (Pibes Trujillo) was inherited from one first intent that formed their father with a close relative. Their artistic beginnings were given at "Pablo Julián Gutiérrez" school, in "America" neighborhood of Quito downtown. Their musical leap gave them from the school to the Perpetual Socorro Church in the same neighborhood, the church organist encouraged them to sing Christmas Carols. They were announced in some radio shows in Quito (Radio Tarqui), as well as in broadcast of other radio stations such as Radio Democracia (Quito), Radio Cristal (Guayaquil), Emisora El Prado (Riobamba) and even in the "Julio César Hidalgo" coliseum in Quito. They become known by Segundo Bautista, a non-seer artist that performs keyboards and guitar with whom they recorded a tape demo for send it to Mr. José Domingo Feraud Guzmán (founder of J. D. Feraud Guzman Recordings) in Guayaquil city, they recorded in 1961 a Long Play album in which were included 10 Christmas Carols tracks, also recorded 5 mini discs of 45 RPM. Their only and unique album printed and titled "Dulce Jesus Mio" becomes a classic Christmas Carols in Ecuador that practically has been immortalized into the whole Ecuatorian music. Unfortunately the Trujillo brothers in their childhood didn't had the professional support to continue their career, according to themselves they had too much regret with an uncle of them that was their "manager", this man was acting without scruple (because they were orphans of father and mother), exploited them in such a way that they did not perceive any money gain, yet being the main stars of the spectacle.

In those days he was paid eight pounds per recording (i.e. two songs) In 1957/58 his guitar band was on tour in Burkina Faso (then called Upper Volta) where he met the Congolese band the Bantus Africana – who invited T.O. and his three musicians to Zaire where they played highlife numbers for the Bantus who were fascinated by this music but could not play it. The Bantus in turn taught the Ghanaians to play local lingala rumbas, chachacha’s, meringues, pachanga and boleros T.O. also met Franco the leader of Zaire’s top band O.K. and so changed the name of his Ampoumah’s guitar band to ‘T.O. Jazz’. When T.O. Jazz returned to Ghana in 1961 they introduced the chachacha to the country. Back in Ghana he set the newly named T.O. Jazz band that specialized in highlifes and Akan renditions of the rumba. It was with this band that T.O. recorded in 1968 the hit song ‘Aware Bone Asu Manim Ase’ (Bad Marriage Has Disgraced Me) that was released as a 45 RPM on the Phillips label. For this T.O. (together with Victor Uwaifo of Nigeria) was awarded in 1970 the first Phillips West African Golden Discs – and went to record a total of 127 songs. So by the mid 70’s T.O. Jazz was a household name in Ghana. In 1996 T.O. began teaching ‘palmwine highlife’ at the Music Department of the University of Ghana, where he also played and sang with John Collins' Local Dimension Band. T.O died after a short illness in 2001. |

| Search | Add | 10 | Rye Town's Creatures | Rye Town's Creatures (sometimes referred to as Rye Town Coven and abbreviated to RTC) are a gothic rap, rap metal and horrorcore group originally from UK, England and consisted primarily of Memorex and Wes Cooper (though usually under their alter-ego's Ajax and Wayne InSane), but has since changed line-up several times, and is no longer a strictly an English only group. The band was formed on the 06/06/06 and that fact was often used in their albums marketing. They released several EP's and a few LP's in their time being active, and went through many changes when one of their later band members who joined in 2008, SirT, died from suicide in 2010. They released their final album in 2012, "Return To Rye", which was like a six year anniversary album and featured re-imaginings of their most classic tracks. It was around this time that Taurean J joined the group but no recording was ever completed. Since then, the RTC have been on and off active up until 2016 when they tried to reform with a new lineup of Memorex, HatchetHead, Taurean J and Juztin Sane, but it fell through. In late 2022, they reformed. Currently consisting of Memorex and Taurean J they released the first new RTC single in 10 years on the 17th October 2022 "Water Tower High" and will be releasing a new album "Banquet Of Witches" (TBC). | |

"De Grote" Gavioli Organ is an 89-key G4 scale mechanical organ built circa 1906 by the renowned French manufacturer Gavioli et Cie at their German factory in Waldkirch, Baden-Württemberg. Often cited among the finest historical Draaiorgels ("Barrel organs") in the Netherlands, it's one of the few extant Gaviolis in its unmodified state. In 1963, De Grote Gavioli was exported to the UK, stirring controversy among Dutch collectors and preservationists. Since 1996, the Gavioli organ has been owned by Nigel Myers (b. 1965) and his family in York, England. One of the recent sources that outlined a detailed history of this unique instrument was a January 2005 article in Carousel Organ, Issue No. 22, "A Pilgrimage to the Kring van Draaiorgelvrienden's (KDV) 50th Anniversary." Originally, the 89-key organ was ordered by German showman Carl Patty in Dresden. In the 1920s, he sold the instrument to a prolific Dutch proprietor of amusement parks and fairgrounds, Reinhard Dirks, who set the instrument at his Luna Park in Rotterdam. Under his ownership, the Gavioli was refurbished and extended by renowned organ maker [a=Carl Frei] (1884—1967), an ex-Gavioli employee. As the park closed during the Second World War, the organ was safely stored away in a warehouse. After WWII, two collectors from Delft, Henri Bank (1911—1964) and Theo van Zutphen (1914—2000), purchased the Gavioli for preservation. They approached the town of Haarlem and proposed to adopt the historical instrument as a municipal organ; however, the plan was rejected. Eventually, J. Waerts with his son, M. Waerts, a family of collectors from Zaandam, purchased the Gavioli and sent it to Amsterdam for restoration by a renowned barrel organ maker, [a=Gijs Perlee] (1901—1991). Working with his two sons, G. Perlee meticulously restored the organ to pristine original condition and repainted the iconic façade in a period manner. After that, Gavioli acquired its nickname, De Grote ("The Great"). The Waerts family extensively toured De Grote Gavioli across Holland, as well as in Fontainebleau, France, and Bremen, Germany. In 1960, a critically acclaimed [r=3733714] LP featuring the organ came out on [l=Capitol Records], recorded in Holland and distributed worldwide. In 1963, "De Grote" Gavioli surprisingly appeared on the open market, advertised in a British newspaper World's Fair (dedicated to the traveling fairground industry). With the assistance of Derrick Londrigan (d. 2014) from Manchester, one of the first secretaries of the Fair Organ Preservation Society, the unique Gavioli was purchased by Arthur Mason, owner of "A.B. Mason" car repairs shop in Burnham Market, Norfolk (still in business today, as "Burnham Motors Garage Ltd."). Dutch collectors and preservationists heavily criticized the sale and even attempted to lobby the Dutch government to intervene and stop the loss of "national cultural heritage." Despite these attempts, De Grote Gavioli left the country. Throughout the "A.B. Mason era" (easily recognizable by the branded pedestal), the Gavioli was regularly showcased at numerous events and fairs. More records were produced featuring De Grote, such as [r=32213973] LP 1978 on UK specialty label [l=CJMO]. Shortly before Arthur Mason died, the organ was sold to the Bygone Heritage Village in Fleggburgh, serving as one of the main attractions at the theme park. In July 1996, De Grote Gavioli once again went for sale, purchased by its current owner, Nigel Myers in York. Following extensive three-year restorations by [l=AC Pilmer Automatic Music (Leasing) Ltd.], including a new purpose-built display case, "The Great" Gavioli first appeared in public in 1999. Since then, the organ has participated in multiple events, including the Great Dorset Steam Fair.

| Search | Add | 10 | Svida | Swedish Techno/House producer duo formed in 2011. Svida is the result of a chance meeting during a legendary club night in Stockholm more than ten years ago. From that point on a friendship was born, but it wasn’t until a year ago that the duo decided to start creating music together. With influences ranging from the early days of soul to the outskirts of electronica it might be hard to predict where this duo will are heading and what Svida will be all about. What is certain though is that they are trying to fill in the missing gaps between jacking house and bouncy techno. Individually they search for that special groove which drives the duo together and makes them a perfect match. Martin Halinowski and Calle Dernulf have different skills but share the same passion for the common good; bringing great grooves to all mankind! | |
