Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 13 | Susanne Löwenhard | Solveig Leiditz | Swedish songwriter and musician, born 1922, died February 4, 2004. Maiden name Solveig Leiditz, daughter of Swedish/Norwegian visual artist Ingegerd Risberg-Leiditz, who also designed some of her record sleeves. Artist name Solveig Löwenhard and later Susanne Löwenhard - since it was easier to pronounce. She was known for songs such as "Kåk i Haga", "Ragnarök" and "Saltstoden", as well as for her children's songs. She managed to make five LPs, of which three for the adult audience and two for children. The children's songs also found their way into the "Klapp och Klang" records, which sold gold and thus gave the songs a very wide distribution. She was also known for her translations from Norwegian, of songs such as "Vi ska inte sova bort sommarnatten" and much more. In addition to her own records, she was active in Visans Vänner in Gothenburg, participating in their compilation album from the 60s (which also collected artists such as Evert Taube and Alf Hambe) and was herself one of the forces behind a later collection in the 70s. her nephew Ingemar Ragnemalm performed with her a couple of times on certain stages in Gothenburg, but around the turn of the millennium she definitely stopped singing. In her last years she lived in Vegahemmet in Gothenburg where she was cared for. Decades of anorexia finally took their toll. Her husband Percy Löwenhard (magician and pianist ”Mr Percy”) had already died a number of years before her. |

Search | Add | 13 | Dawn Riding | Oakland, California While songwriter Sarah Rose Janko was growing up waiting tables & watching blues and rock & roll bands in her Dad’s west coast bar, Jasmyn Wong was learning to drum to Riot grrrl records & dancing her way through the underground SF goth scene, and Hall McCann was in the Northeast practicing harmonies to old country classics & sneaking out of the house. They each went on to live in different cities, find friends & temporary homes, travel long distances for love, learn about heartbreak, and eventually land in Oakland, CA, where the tough, lonesome sound of Dawn Riding was born. Though they grew up in separate realities, the ladies of Dawn Riding were all raised by the unapologetic, inclusive, gritty culture of the underground. It’s one of the only ways to explain how they’re a tough-as-nails country-folk trio who are indisputably more punk rock than Americana, and more southern gothic than country. Together they invoke the dark honesty of Lucinda Williams, the close harmonies of the Everly Brothers, and the hypnotic, dreamy overtones of Mazzy Star – a formidable soundtrack to long nights of slow dancing, and true stories of unknown legends. They make music for their friends, their lovers, and the unyielding spirit of the underdog. | |

Search | Add | 13 | Charlie Aldrich | Charles Aldrich | Born June, 3 1918. They called him "Walkin' Talkin'" Charlie Aldrich. He was a native of Ogawam, Oklahoma, a suburb about 25 miles from Bradley, Oklahoma. He came by that nickname rather naturally, felt everyone was his neighbor and was constantly 'walkin' and talkin' with anyone he'd meet. He was six foot two, smiling blue-green eyed, light brown haired and was talented as an emcee, guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and known for his sincertiy towards the public. Charlie worked hard to get his first guitar. He got it by milking enough cows on his mother's farm during the 1932 depression to buy a $3.98 guitar. His mother was his first teacher. And hard work and music stayed with him during those early years growing up. Later, he'd pick cotton all day long for 15 cents and then drive 30 miles to a country theater to see a Gene Autry movie, his first inspiration. Around 1946, Charlie got his honorable discharge from the Navy. From there he went to work as an assistant salesman for a dry goods chain store, where he got promoted quickly to head salesman. For about three years, Charlie had a band in Oklahoma and broadcasted over the CBS network with a show called "Oklahoma Roundup". Then, he went out west to California where he started working with Spade Cooley, the western swing king. Then, he became part of Cliffie Stone's Hometown Jamboree group that broadcast over KXLA and KLAC-TV out of El Monte, California. He also worked with T. Texas Tyler and Tony Martin a various points at that time, too. But along came 1951 and his popularity soared. He came out with a tune called "Walkin' The Guitar Strings" and it became his curtain call. That got him his own show on KTTV and was said to be getting over 200,000 pieces of mail a year. His songs were being published by the famed Acuff-Rose company and also the Tannen Music Company. He had three radio programs, five days a week on top of his daily television show. And if that didn't keep him busy enough, he owned and operated a music studio in Burbank, California. If he had any time left, he did personal appearances. He had a horse that may have been part of his personal appearances. It was called Ranger and was said to be a hit with the kids. Ranger could do 45 various types of stunts. And had had a quarter million kids climb on his back during a two year period. And he kept adding to his musical skills while he was in California. He got a degree for classical guitar music form the Los Angeles Conservatory of Music |

In 1967 they recorded their first LP, this formation lasted eleven years, and released nine LPs, with great successes and several dances throughout Brazil. Around 1977, Adelar left the group, where Ilseu Prusch joined, accompanying Itajaíba for a few years. In 1981, the last LP was recorded, with Itajaíba Mattana and Rivadávia Barreto, also featuring Itajaíba's brother, Ubirajara Mattana. Around 2006, Itajaíba met Willian Ponttes, who began studying and performing alongside Itajaíba, forming again "Os Cobras do Teclado", until mid-2018. In 2019, Itajaíba passed the name "Os Cobras do Teclado", to Willian Ponttes, who in addition to being a student and fellow dancer, is the master's son at heart, for 13 years together.
