Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Sud X.T. | SUD X.T.’s first incarnation was formed in 1980 in Palermo with founding members Vortex, Aldo Ammirata, and Maurizio Adrizzone. SUD X.T.’s early sound reflected the heavy influence of French drum machine-punk pioneers Metal Urbain, as they fused the rock’n’roll rhythm of their drum machine with a pulsating bass and double guitar attack, rounded out by the group’s nihilistic/futuristic lyrics. In 1985, after the band took a few years hiatus, Vortex restarted SUD X.T. with all new right-wing politics, all new members, and a more straight-forward, oi!-influenced sound that reflected his idealistic jump to ultra-nationalism.

Search | Add | 3 | The 59 Sound | Possibly you are facing one of more interesting profiles of the current spanish scene. The 59 Sound is a quintet based in Málaga (Spain), formed by Vic de Wee on vocals, dutch from Utrech and “Man Made Ivory” (grunge band from Utrech) former lead singer; Mateo brothers: Juan Antonio, Jorge y José Manuel (guitarists and bass player hardened in bands such as Monster -REM covers-, Hondonero, etc.; and Aurelio Tello as drummer from Madrid. They debuted in 2016 on the spanish recording scene with a Cd called “Instinto”, but a couple of years ago with the addition of Vic as vocalist and Aurelio on drums, they decided to close the previous stage and they started the project virtually from scratch. They changed their language to English and they locked themselves in the rehearsal room to shape their first songs, difficult to label, circling around an alternative rock, which it can sounds bright or dark, direct or progressive, with a powerful and solid rhythm section accompanied by precise guitars and which highlights Vic de Wee´s vocal range. After recording the "Miles Away" EP in 2020, they now return in 2022 with the "SCARS" EP, a new CD with 5 songs of their own composition, started at the Moby Dick Studios in Malaga and finished in Holland at the Barn in the Meadow Studios, Benschop, where they went to record the voices and the making the mixes with the production of Jordi Langelaan, direct technician of bands like Within Temptation or kensington.

As a live-performance artist & multi-instrumentalist he plays violin, piano, and his greatest love – guitar. At age of five Frano held his first solo classical guitar concert at the Music Academy of Zagreb. Frano has won several international competitions in music theory and classical guitar. So far he has performed more than three hundred times at various events, concerts, festivals, TV shows and radio broadcasts, and organized and participated in charity projects. At age of eight he finished elementary & middle music school with excellent success and honors. He was probably the youngest in the world to perform Vivaldi’s Chamber Concerto in D-major RV93 at that age. Also, that was the time he performed first time with his greatest hero – Mr. Tommy Emmanuel, CGP. Their first joint performance occurred in the biggest Croatian national concert hall Vatroslav Lisinski in Zagreb (Croatia), after which they appeared in the concert hall Brucknerhaus in Linz (Austria), Teatro Rossetti in Trieste (Italy) and Philharmonie am Gasteig in Münich (Germany). Later they did many more shows together and Frano as special guest joined Mr. Emmanuel German tour 2016/2017. where they toured across Germany, Switzerland and Luxembourg. At his 10th birthday, Frano had a huge honor to be a part of a guitar orchestra and play with the famous Los Angeles Guitar Quartet (LAGQ: William Bill Kanengiser, John Dearman, Matthew Greif & Scott Tennant), performing Shingo Fujii’s “Shiki: Seasons of Japan”, in Nürtingen (Germany). At age of ten, Frano published his first release as a solo guitarist called “It’s a Secret”, featuring his original compositions. So far Frano already played with, toured or being opening act for international music super-stars such as 2Cellos, Al di Meola, Tommy Emmanuel, John Scofield, Kiefer Sutherland, Manfred Mann, Kaki King, Corrado Rustici & Zucchero, Canned Heat, Ten Years After, Mother’s Finest, Ian Paice and many more. As youngest member of national composer’s society, Frano won “Rudolf and Margita Matz” award for extraordinary talented young composers. One of the highest honors Frano received is original “Yellow Mouse” guitar given to him by Tommy Emmanuel CGP during Chet Atkins Appreciation Society Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, 2018. Year before Frano played Scotty Moore’s (Elvis Presley’s lead guitarist) guitar at the convention’s final evening concert. At age of fourteen, Frano was graduated from music high school – theoretical department, performed his original “Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra” with Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, and continues to develop as a composer and arranger while performing worldwide. |

Has an unpolished amateur glow – you could easily imagine these folks leading the Catholic collegiates in song at a Newman club in the late ‘60s. Titles like ‘We Have His Spirit In Our Hearts’, ‘Lord, We Touch You Today’, ‘Do We Really Try?’, ‘Lord, We Make This Your World’ and ‘Won’t You Come Away?’ are all presented with simple acoustic guitar backing, alternating solo singing with unison vocals. All songs composed by Rev. Shawn Tracy, O.S.A." (The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott). The group released three albums, The 10:15 (1968), Making Tracks (1972) and Songs of the Father (1974). They came from Bronx, New York.

Formed in 2016 on the basis of a trio, Off The Yard is a folk with great punk influences such as Nofx or The Matchup. After a first EP released in the same time entitled "We say don't care but we do", the band played several dates in the Lyon area. The original trio then becomes a duo: two voices, two guitars, efficient and catchy. From this new stage was born the album "Empty Spot" at the end of 2017, for new compositions to be tasted that do not deny their origins.

Search | Add | 3 | Aleksandr Shuniborov | Aleksandr Shuniborov | Shuniborov and music are inseparably connected since childhood. Playing his parents' tapes and vinyl collections on repeat, he would beg with tears to turn Yury Antonov's 'Moonlight way' on. And then he would break into a dance absorbing the rhythm and dynamics of the piece. ABBA, Boney-M, Michael Jackson, the Army of Lovers, the Beatles and other wonderful records were unfolding for him as he was growing up. Aleks's dad worked as a truck driver and he went on trips far abroad. You may guess how lucky Aleks was to have access to the world of music. This changed his life significantly. The 90's were not the easiest time for Belarus, just as for any other post Soviet country. And he was the one with Pringles, and records from the mysterious abroad. Dad kept buying all the new musical stuff to brighten his long way home. But as soon as he reached home all the tapes found their place on Aleks's shelves. Shuniborov's first DJ experience happened at the age of 14. He practised at house parties after school where school mates were getting addicted to apparently not only music. The school graduation party was a great event at his teen age. Then until his 23 he was continually looking for his own ways of self-expressiin in electronic music. He began to understand rather clearly what he wanted and needed for his favourite activity. Nothing was possible without equipment, skills of making textures, mixing them and producing. 'Music is my best friend, the beloved wife and child. There're no unpleasant sounds, no bad music. My greatest fear is to lose the ability of comprehending sounds, to stop feeling the bit of dynamics, to forget how to mix sounds and enjoy them. That sound like the end of me and for me. ' Shuniborov keeps his mind open. Experimenting, searching for' incorrect' mixes, state-of-the-art dynamics of the tapes filled with complex combinations are born in his studio. Aleks has preserved his internal child not setting boundaries to his freedom at the same time. |

Search | Add | 3 | John Tkacik | John Tkacik (born April 15, 1961 in Worcester, MA) was an experimental artist, writer, and musician best known as the bass player for the American skatecore band Crash Course. A pioneer and singular influence in the New England underground music scene, Tkacik (pronounced kay-sick) was the bass player of several early hardcore punk bands, including Pig Iron in 1983, and Crash Course in 1984 on Cape Cod, MA. Briefly sponsored by Zorlac/Airwalk, the band was promoted by a local skateboard shop who funded the recording of their 27-track debut. The band played frequently for years, touring in a borrowed school bus or their renovated 1960s ambulance, including epics shows with The Freeze, The F.U.s, Beefeater, Gang Green, Lost Prophets, Verbal Assault, The Outpatients, Th’Inbred, Vicious Circle, Toxic Reasons, Seizure, Strange Flesh, The Loud Ones, and many others at classic N.E. punk venues like The Channel, The Living Room, The Rat, Lupo’s, Club Rocket, the Cage, Anthrax, and Laconia Bike Week. Crash Course released three cassettes on guitarist John Santos’ Hellcore/Landlubber Records: “Pilgrimage to Hell” 1995, “The End” 1986, and “Live” in 1991, selling most via mail order through reviews and ads in zines like Maximum Rock n Roll and Suburban Voice. The Whore Moans catalog is comprised of a series of five cassette releases, plus an interim album titled Psychedelia Vapor Christ or P.V.C. During a prolific 10 year creative outburst, Tkacik wrote and recorded hundreds of songs in a broad range of styles, and played many shows, including a regular slot at Providence art space AS220 in the late 80s. He independently published their music in a cassette series recorded and produced with drummer David Silver, with hand-painted labels created after nightly band practice, and was creator the fanzine “American Defense of Justice”, printing and distributing several issues with reviews and interviews of regional punk bands and art by underground alternative artists. His writing turned toward political folk music during the 1990s, under multiple band names including Beautiful Child and Rack. In the early-90s, Tkacik came out as transgender and gender fluid, at times changing her name to Jana, continuing to write acoustic guitar music and working at a San Francisco clinic as an activist and advocate for HIV patients in need to medical marijuana before it was legalized. In 1993-94, Tkacik reunited with Pig Iron members John and Pete Santos (Antibodies) and returned to playing bass for the punk rock band Glass Cross, which sadly was never released. An avid traveller, Tkacik spent time between Cape Cod, Boston, Los Angeles, and New Mexico and spent a number of years in San Francisco. She died suddenly in S.F., CA on Saturday, October 29, 2005. Tkacik is survived by family members in MA and many friends and fans in the area.

Keith Beck’s Zigman Bird fearlessly switches between a full-piece rock’n’roll band and an exciting acoustic act, mixing catchy hooks, melodies and lyrics. The name Zigman Bird came to me while I was sitting on the toilet. There was a junkyard by my house and the owner, Sigman Byrd, used to shoot kids with a salt gun if they wandered onto his property. He got a few of us but I survived and got a band name out of it.

Search | Add | 3 | ABADDON. | Mylo Messiket | "ABADDON." to clarify, this is a different artist, unrelated to the earlier metal band "Abaddon" This ABADDON. introduced itself to the public, January 1st, 2014A.D. in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a dark tribal track, "Mother(War Call)" This became officially released on "Messiket Liturgy Vol. 1" on November 20th, 2014, along with Vol. 2. Midway 2014, the genre ABADDON. refers to as "Ritualistik Textures" evolved into a small unique record label, also based in Minneapolis, in which the Messiket Liturgy series has been released on.(RT001-RT002) This uneasy energy ABADDON. portrays, has become more defined and rooted over the course of the albums. Since the series consists of a wide variety of genres & bpm, most loosely fall under heavy-bass experimental. Majority of the tracks are instrumental, but seems to use vintage vocals from 1950's & 60's television anthropology series such as, Rod Serling's Night Gallery, The Twilight Zone, One Step Beyond, ect. Since 2015 ABADDON. has been previewing "MLV3; Aspects of Death(AoD)" --the longest of the three albums-- which is said to be released 6/16/2015A.D. If it follows the other two volumes it will be released on Ritualistik Textures as (RT003), but until further notice this is unconfirmed. Messiket Liturgy Vol. 1 was pressed to a single dubplate with full artwork in South London. This later became the album art for Vol. 2. While MLV1 & MLV3;AoD have each their own cover/sleeve art. Along with each track on MLV3;AoD, features individual clip art. A Deluxe Edition of The Messiket Liturgy Collecktion, Including three to four unreleased tracks has also been mentioned, but also currently unconfirmed. To find more info on upcoming releases & more follow the official ABADDON. on Soundcloud @ http://soundcloud.com/abbadon-3 All booking & contact for ABADDON. is via Ritualistik Textures @ http://facebook.com/Ritualistik.Textures |
