Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Exchange of sound bits and points of view resulted in a common project early 2009. The concept was strangely clear from the beginning. The order was to reflect topics like flickering televisions, urban traffic pollution, disaffection, humdrum in everyday life, resulting in despair and a bit of confidence. Without being pathetic. It was no question how the music should sound. A hail to the past combined with a glimpse into the future, dominated by the situation of today. The time is Traffic A.M.

| Search | Add | 6 | GeroMetal | GeroMetaL | GeroMetal was a Serbian heavy metal band from Novi Sad.The band was formed by a former Griva member Josip Sabo (guitar) and a well-known comic book artist Bane Kerac (drums). The band started their activity in 1992, when Sabo and Kerac were joined by a former Albatorosi member Predrag "Peđa" Moldvaji (bass guitar). Initially, the band performed covers by Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Free, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and others, but with humorous Serbian language lyrics. These songs were released in 1993 on the album Der Rauch Am Wasser (German for "Smoke on the Water"). In 1996, the band was joined by vocalist Dušan Uvalić "Francuz", a former vocalist for the bands Annathema and Crash. This lineup recorded new songs, released during the same year on the album Cat Claw, named after the comic book superhero of the same name created by Kerac. In 1998, after a number of concerts across Vojvodina, Uvalić left GeroMetal to join the reformed Annathema, and two members of the band Kraj, Viktor Moldvaji (Predrag Moldvaji's son, guitar) and Nenad Petković (the bass guitarist in Kraj, on keyboards in GeroMetal), joined the band. Until the end of their career the band performed occasionally only, performing mostly in Novi Sad. In 2000, the band disbanded. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Martín Galarza | José Martin Galarza Arce | José Martin Galarza Arce began in rap music starting in 1984, due to the fact that he traveled to Puerto Rico at that time. In this country he learned break dancing and rap. In 1989 he returned to Ecuador, after having completed his studies in sound engineering and music production at Institute of audio research-New York. In this year he obtained a record contract thanks to the help of Troy Alvarado "Bassist of the group Tranzas" and he released his first recordings on the album, "Asfalto Caliente" and "Guacharnaco", but it is with the song that followed them singles, the rap ballad titled "Tres Notas" with which marks the beginning of rap in Ecuador. The songs such as "Vago Soy", "Sangre Latina" and the song that released the fame to AU-D, "Tres Notas". "Tres Notas" sold more than 180,000 copies in less than a year, a record number for an Ecuadorian soloist at that time (source: IFESA) and received countless awards such as the Huancavilca Award as Song of the Year and marked the beginning of rap in Ecuador . The video remained in the most popular ranking of the time, that of the TV show "El Show de Bernard" (Ecuavisa) for 7 weeks as # 1. Already in 1992 he edits "Rebel Without Pause", disc of 4 subjects where he temporarily leaves aside the rap ballad and writes about more social themes, as well as expresses his concerns about an increasingly superficial world as in the song "Solo Entre Tanta Gente "and" Chicos de la Cuadra ", however, this album does not match the success of the previous one, which is why he decides to return to the line that he released with the song" Cuando Me Quieras ", written and performed together with the composer and singer of the band "Tranzas" Douglas Bastidas in 1994, managing to place this song among the most played songs of that year. In 1996 he decided to perfect that pop rap sound he had achieved and experimented by re-versioning the song of the lojano singer-songwriter Edison León Celi (Edhisson), "Un Amor Así"; also decides to integrate a female voice, the singer from Guayaquil Maria Gabriela Flor. In this CD of 9 songs I would also highlight the ballad "Solo Tu Amor". This CD, released independently, gets Double Gold Record (Source: Society of Authors and Composers of Ecuador-SAYCE) and places these two songs in the number one of the season 1996. In the 97 license this same album under the title of " Rebel Without Pause "to the BMG label, being the year of its internationalization, where it has the opportunity to transmit its music and triumph in part of South America. |

The meeting with Ivan Graziani, at the end of the 1970s, made him realize he was creating his own identity, trying not to imitate other more famous singers. Collaborating with his friend Lanfranco Perini, he then began to write songs. On the occasion of a concert by Francesco De Gregori in Città di Castello, he met the Roman songwriter and proposed him a tape with his own songs. The tape reached Vincenzo Micocci who soon called him to Rome to record the first 7": "Stella". It was 1984. In the following years Franco Verini alternated his own recording activity with production activities with the compilation "Il Vecchio vestito di Nuovo" for the Globo label. At the end of the 1980s, with Marcello Marini, he set up a show called "Canzoni Italiane", with a history of the Italian song during the 1900s, toured in Argentina and in many European countries. He's still active today.

| Search | Add | 6 | Fishy Friends | Named after a toy set for babies, five guys from the Winschoten area in The Netherlands are writing their own songs in the style of Nirvana, The Posies, Teenage Fanclub and Smashing Pumpkins starting from 1993. After playing a few gigs the boys recorded the first album entitled “Starring Netty” which sees the light of day in May 1994, More shows are there and they make it till the popcontest of Groningen called “Pop=Prima Prijs” in 1995. Unfortunately they end up not winning the prize. In 1996 recordings began for the second one called “Hurray!”. The music has become more solid and is more furious but still melodic with nice vocal harmonies. A few shows are played but due to lack of success the members started to focus on other bands and projects. In 1998 it all ended. The songs stick to your head immediately and are still not outdated. In 2019 they came together again and old songs were played but also new songs are written. On stage again on the 5th of May 2022 after so many years. A new album is recorded. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Charivari Trio | The Charivari Trio was established in 1986 and initially played a broad repertory of folk music. Gradually, the trio developed a special preference for gipsy and Latin American music. Between 1989 and 1995, the trio formed the heart of tango orchestra Nachtschade and klezmer group Kalarash. Since 1992, various composers such as Joop van Erven, Dolf de Kinkelder, Michiel Braam, and Joep Everts, were commissioned to write new repertory. The trio organizes the yearly Charivarifestival with concerts and workshops for amateur musicians. After ten years of Charivari, a selection of their repertory appeared on the CD Romance de Barrio. Subsequently, Hora Sentimental was delivered, a collage of traditional and new Eastern European music. The CD ¡ABRE! consists of a mixture of Latin American and gipsy music. The Charivari Trio took part in several theater productions, such as Ethisch Reveil, after a text by Dirkje Kuik, with theater group InDependance (1986) , Liefdesportretten, with music by Andries van Rossem and with De Plaats (1998), and GILGAMESH, with actor Frank Groothof and with Stichting Vrije Val (2002-2003). | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Lyn La Salle | Lyndon J. LaSalle | 'Takin’ Life Easy b/w Randee Ramjet’ was originally recorded at Dove Studios in Minneapolis Minnesota. The A&R guy who had arranged the horns had a nervous breakdown and stole the master tape and we couldn’t find him or the tape for nine months. When we finally found the guy and the tape we had it pressed under our own label, it was called Hy Nibble and had a picture of a giraffe on it. Some disc jockey friends of mine really liked the songs and sent a copy to A&M records in Hollywood. I was really surprised to get a call from Larry Alpert, Herbs brother, and he asked me if I wanted to have the songs on A&M. We actually made money on the Hy Nibble label and paid back our recording costs. A&M never paid me any royalties although the record was really big in the mid-west and played on the radio from New York to San Diego. There are some other weird things that happened in those days too – after all it was the 60s. Later joined [a=Daybreak (51)]. Lyn died on september 29th, 2016 in Minnesota from health issues. |

| Search | Add | 6 | The Saltire Music Group | The Saltire Music Group was a Scottish chamber music ensemble based in Edinburgh and co-founded in 1950 by composer and violinist [a=Isobel Dunlop] (1901—1975) and German opera conductor [a=Hans Oppenheim] (1892—1965). In 1951, the collective was expanded by a vocal quartet, [a=The Saltire Singers]. The project began under The Saltire Society auspices, a community established in 1936 to disseminate the country's cultural heritage ("saltire" in the name stands for the St. Andrew's Cross, a national symbol on the Flag of Scotland). Isobel Dunlop joined the Saltire Society circa 1948 after serving as the [l=Scottish Arts Council]'s Assistant National Officer for five years. She soon decided to organize an early music ensemble, and the Society invited a notable opera conductor of Jewish origins, Hans Oppenheim, who has lived in Great Britain since 1934, fleeting Nazi persecution in his homeland Germany. Following the debut concert series in late 1950 at Gladstone's Land, a 17th-century house in Edinburgh's Old Town and the Saltire Society's headquarters, the Saltire Music Group embarked on the second season. The ensemble featured professional and amateur musicians and performed a broad repertoire, from old English songs to new works commissioned by contemporary Scottish composers, plus vocal and instrumental pieces by Isobel Dunlop. They regularly participated in the [l=Edinburgh Festival] and produced several albums on [l=Columbia]. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Aaron Deponce | Aaron Hilliard | Singer, Songwriter & Entertainer, Aaron Deponce, is making his presence felt in the music industry with his smooth, sultry voice and high energy-packed performances. DePonce is a gifted, innovative, and influential music figure who started singing at the age of 5 in Indianapolis, Indiana. At age 16, his singing talents soon became obvious to industry heavy hitters, Darryl Simmons, Kenneth "Baby Face "Edmonds, and Antonio "L.A. "Reid. In 1992, they quickly signed him to Laface Records as a member of the R&B group, "A FEW GOOD MEN". The group first appeared on The LaFace Family Christmas album in 1993 singing their very own rendition of "Silver Bells", which still to date is played in heavy rotation, getting us in the Christmas spirit each and every year. The group's debut album, "Take a Dip", featured two successful singles 'Tonite' and 'Have I Never.' The Babyface produced, 'Have I Never', was the group's biggest success, reaching #32 on the R&B charts and #76 on the Hot 100. The Dallas Austin produced, 'Tonite', managed to reach #44 on the R&B charts. Unfortunately, due to front office reconstruction at the record label, their project didn't receive the necessary support it needed. In 1997 the group disbanded, and in 1999 DePonce signed to an independent recording label, Imperium Records, in Miami, Florida. His solo debut album, "From My Window", which spawned the songs "Just The Way You Are", and "Tight-Tight", opened his eyes to all the benefits of controlling his vision and reaping the many rewards of doing so. After a successful solo debut, DePonce decided to take his career in his own hands and create NEW MERGE, Inc., which released the labels first album, "Devotion", in 2005. Aaron Deponce then realized that by using the power of internet sales with networks such as MySpace & CD Baby, he could connect with distribution companies in other countries. His music began to reach audiences as far as Japan, Europe and Africa. In 2007, while in Atlanta, Georgia working with other recording artists signed to Usher Raymond's manager, J.Pat, he gained the attention of Terrence"T-Low"Brown & Robert"RL"Huggar, both members of the Multi Platinum R&B Trio "NEXT". With the third member no longer a part of the group, DePonce was given the opportunity to fill that void. Touring and eventually recording with "NEXT", he never stopped perfecting his craft as a solo artist. Because of his driven personality, and his strong desire to succeed, he wasted no time in recording his new album, "HEREAFTER", set to be released Aug 18, 2011. His resume of career achievements not only includes singing, songwriting, and production, but he also possesses extensive knowledge and experience in sales, marketing and promotions. Aaron Deponce's wide variety of talents and gifts has enabled him to reinvent himself and stay relevant in today's music industry. |

In his childhood Jon was diagnosed with schizophrenia and later on with Borderline Personality Disorder. He developed and invented a Mini-Tunes music genre. All his songs are short between 1-2 minutes and composed in a such way that they could be placed in a different order in a playlist and sound nonstop as a Megamix. All his tracks start commonly with a hit or crash and end up with a riser, uplifter or a drum fill, so in loop they sound as infinite tracks. Mr. Gleur writes and mixes in different music styles such as Trip-Hop, Drum 'n' Bass, Big Beat, Chillout, Lo-fi and others. The purpose of composing short and diverse songs is that he can't tolerate mentally repetitive patterns and uniform mood. Jon Gleur is a free-spirited and epochal person who likes to experiment. As an example he doesn't name his songs the way artists usually do. He uses either click-bate names or the names people might get attracted by. Same story with his appearance and album covers. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Caverna delle Rose | Led by AimA Lichtblau and Diego Cinquegrana – accompanied by flautist Laura Manescalchi and baritone and percussionist Evor Ameisie (Camerata Mediolanense) – Caverna delle Rose presents itself as a liminal musical project, situated between abstraction, research and reinterpretation: a sonic bridge connecting ancient practices and contemporary sensibilities. Rooted in the contemplation of nature, traditional wisdom and the perennial principles that have traversed and will always traverse emerged civilizations, Caverna delle Rose translates into musical language those fundamental themes that René Guénon identified as the invariant core of the primordial Tradition: the distance between the contingent and the eternal – the essential –, cosmological symbolism and the search for lost unity. From the laws governing natural cycles to the reinterpretation of ancient wisdom texts, the compositions explore the mysteries of creation, life, death and the depths of human interiority. The conception of music as a "mystical" journey emphasizes the centrality of ecstatic experience, realized through a modal alchemy that weaves together heterogeneous sounds and instruments: voice, winds, strings, percussion, electronic sounds and natural noises, in a synthesis that evokes the harmony of opposites well-known to the hermetic tradition. | |
