Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 6 | DJ Black Negro | DJ Black Negro is a white guy, born and brought up in a rural part of eastern belgium. DJ Black Negro was first introduced to music with the mainstream hardcore tekno he was listening to during the party in belgium clubs every week end. DJ Black Negro then was introduced to free party with friends but failed in being accept by the scene because of his taste which were considered too "clubbing" by the travelers... DJ Black Negro is no original guy. Black Negro got no ambition. Actually, DJ Black Negro will die listening & producing all his life only one musical genre - maybe the most up tied of all - the "thunder dome" techno. DJ Black Negro thinks artists shouldn't possess copyrights, DJ Black Negro is unemployed and needs samples to create because of a lack of machines he can't buy. In the turn of the millennium, two records were conceived when they began to release their independent albums in the hopes of getting a publishing deal for the studio band they affectionately call “Little Days”. In 2008, Jorgen joined Gov’t Mule, but in between a busy touring schedule these last several years, they have found time to rekindle Little Days and continue working on new song ideas. Jorgen and Mini have put together a collection of songs for the studio project called Pop & Tacos coming out spring in 2019. These recordings hold a familiar retro sound-perhaps it’s a missing tape reel found in a vault circa 1978 paying homage to bands like ABBA, Pink Floyd and 10cc, yet undeniably unique while Little Days beckons the listener to simply dive in and enjoy their own ride. The duo have their own hybrid recording studio called Roger’s Boat using both the digital platform as well as a 24-track analog machine in the making of Pop & Tacos. Their new release brings their collective affinity to the music they grew up loving to listen to. In January of 2019 Little Days was asked to perform at Gov’t Mule's annual Island Exodus in Jamaica coinciding with guest hosting their own show on SiriusXM JamOn’s “Roll your own” where they invited The Heartbreaker’s drummer Steve Ferrone and touched on how they ended up getting fellow Heartbreaker guitarist Mike Campbell to record for one of Little Days’ tracks. A few years back, Jorgen started another project called Nerve Bundle with Toto’s guitarist Steve Lukather who also recorded guitar on 2 songs for Pop & Tacos, one of which also has Warren Haynes of Gov’t Mule playing slide guitar. Needless to say, the making of Pop & Tacos has been an extraordinary experience for these two lost kids of the 60’s & 70’s... |

Search | Add | 6 | Pain Runs Deep | Pain Runs Deep did really start in late 90s, recorded a decent MCD, gigged a bit and went into a long hiatus to be back among the living in 2008. Refreshed, rejuvanted and reinforced they delivered bunch of quality shows, crushing all over the place, getting enormous feedback from the crowd who turned out to be totally new generation of hardcore kids with few of those who stage dove to their songs when they were around for the first time. Show after show, the excitment grew and many kids travelled from all over the country to enjoy their wild stage performance along with the message shouted loud. What seemed to be one time "let's get together and have some fun at shows" type of thing made them go record few new tunes to encapsulate the energy they drawn from the shows and express their current state of mind - musically and lyrically. Heavier than ever, highly structured, yet groovy hard hitting riffs, backed by furious vocals is what they created. What they've loved listening to hardcore for their lives, they simply poured into their music - from Cro-Mags through Burn, Conviction and Leeway to Burn It Down. Lyrically - still critical look at this world we live in, screaming for balance, harmony and reason. Not an average hardcore band that you can safely pigeonhole. Not the book you can judge by its cover or just by flicking through the pages. You need to look carefully at this baby and read between the lines. - Pat B | |

Search | Add | 6 | Tommy Navarro | Luther Navarro Walker | Luther Navarro Walker was born January 12, 1940 in Manhattan, New York to Luther Martin Walker and Irelene Walker. Luther married Clarencia Mae Flynn on April 5, 1959. They had four daughters and one son. Luther and Clarencia also adopted another daughter Denise and brought her into their large family. Luther‘s thirst for music came from his mother who played the piano for the African Methodist Church in Columbia, South Carolina and then in New York. Luther’s voice was one that could bring you to tears. He was singing in the chorus church and was so small, the robe dragged on the floor as he sang “Ave Maria” as a young man for 12 years. He moved to Williams Avenue in Springfield Gardens from Morning Side Avenue in Manhattan. It was there that he met Clarencia Flynn, who was 14 years old at the time and he was 12 years old. Luther had a singing group called the Dealers. Everyone at that time was into “Dowop.” You could hear it on every street corner, but Luther’s voice always stood out. Luther was always headed for Broadway, always trying to get a contract. Luther went into the Air Force January 16, 1957. He was classified as a Metal Worker. When he was discharged he got married. He then went on to pursue his music again. In 1960 Luther put out an album. He appeared at the Rat Fink Room, the Galaxy Supper Club in Queens, New York, the Lamp Lighter and the El Carrib Country Club. In 1963, under the singing name “Tommy Navarro,” Luther recorded “I Cried My Life Away,” with De Jac Records. This record became #18 on the “Top 100” song list nationally. He then worked with the Ruddy Williams Trio. In 1968, he joined the world famous Joe Boatner’s Ink Spots, with whom he received encore after encore whenever he sang lead. As a solo artist, he sang at the Moulin Rouge, the Show place of the Stars, August 23-24, 1968 and again November 1-2, 1968. He sang at the Flagship in Union, New Jersey as a Star with Mary Rooney and Linda Terri. Luther sang at the Palisades Amusement Park under the Disc Jockey, Bruce Morrow of WABC. He sang at the Baby Grand in New York City on January 25, 1969 with his own trio “The Navarro Trio” and at the Velvet Room in Bellmore, New York for six weeks. In 1969, he sang at the Baby Grand in Brooklyn, New York as well as the Steer Inn. He sang at the Pocamount Lodge in Bushkill, Pennsylvania as well as the McAllister Rose Room in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. |

He started to create music in 2008, after an excellent drummer career in Music Accademy. Every SOLARIS album are full of “key sounds” for the people's consciousness. Solaris says " the 432 Hz frequency sound is used to open the listeners minds and have a positively melodic music, but simultaneously psychedelic !" Rhythmically, Solaris music is highly imaginative, exploiting beat patterns and at the same times, using a variety of amazing tones to create a lovely music groove. His work is also encroaches on the world of ambient music, many tracks on his albums are slowly evolving soundscapes concerned with and with no sense of negative energy. He can create each type of music with a special personal style. Actually Solaris works on many different kinds of music: (for example): 432 Hz, Psy-Progressive, House-ProgresSive, Ambient/chill Out, Elektro, Intelligent D&B and much others..
