Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Manuel JdEM | Emanuele Misurina | Manuel JdEM was born in Pinerolo (Italy) on 27 th October 1986 and since his first years he showed a great interest in music and a natural feeling with it. When he was 10 years old he began to study music: piano and then clarinet. When he was 15 he bought his first vinyl. His talent was imminent and he had no problem in acquiring mixing skills and, in a few time, he began to spin his dj set, that was a 360° dance/club set, in several clubs. In 2004, he decided to leave House music selections and he devoted himself to Hardstyle music. In this year, he won a djing competition, which was organized at Guell Disco in S. Secondo di Pinerolo (Italy). In the beginning of 2005, Fusion staff was born: a staff, who organizes parties on Sunday afternoon at “Le Cinemà” Disco, in Roletto (TO - it), where he's still resident dj and Booking Manager. In 2005 he became part of Parhasar Staff, so he worked at Altavista (ex Cellophane) in Rimini, Domina in Toirano (SV), GOA in Avigliana (TO), DUE in Cigliano (VC), at Sundance Festival in Biella, Ultimo Impero Discotempio in Magliano Alpi (CN), Vogue Disco in Castelsardo (SS), L'Acropol in Paris - France and The Emporium in Coalville Leicestershire UK. Manuel is also the founder, with DJ Vortex, of Hardforum ( www.hardforum.org ), born in the beginning of 2005, which is a very important meeting point for Italian hardstylers. It creates a direct link between the audience and dj/producers. In 2005 Manuel JdEM has his “musical birth” and he spins his dj set on the best dance floors in north Italy . His live sets are appreciated for variety and musical selection concerning Hardstyle, Italian Style, Hardtrance and Jumpstyle. In his dj sets you can listen also to his personal tracks, which he produces in his personal music studio. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Mindrips | Active band from December 19th 2010 - July 3rd 2015 Danny Thompson - Guitar, Vocals Casey Hoeft - Bass, Backing vocals Oliver Bock - Drums This group from Boise, ID was active for just under five years and put out one lone proper release along with three live recordings and a demo tape. The band formed in December of 2010 and was a two-piece until May 27th 2013 when Casey Hoeft joined the band. The band put out two live albums, Live at the Red Room, and Three Live Shows (which included everything on the Red Room release) in 2013. In early 2015 the band put out the Mah EP and embarked on their first tour through Idaho, Nevada, California, Oregon and Washington alongside Revolt Revolt. Danny Thompson and Casey Hoeft went on to form Fyberz in the coming years to follow the end of Mindrips. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Wendy Darling Blackwood | Wendy Farrell-Pastore | Wendy "Darling" Blackwood is an album cover artist / photographer and backing vocalist most notably for the band Edison's Children & the solo albums of Edison's Children's Rick Armstrong, the Son of Neil Armstrong. Wendy is famed for her dark vivid imagery featured not just on the band's album covers but in the accompanying 20 page haunting "lyrics & images booklets" that appear in every one of Edison's Children's full length albums, with each song, section or excerpt of the concept album, having its own personal "album cover" to give listeners a visual cue to what they should see in their mind's eye while listening to the music. Her stage name Wendy Darling Blackwood is a combination of being given the moniker "Wendy Darling" in honor of his song Neverland by the band Marillion in the liner notes of Marillion's album "Sounds That Can't Be Made" under Steve Hogarth's credits: "h would like to thank "Eric Pastore (Blackwood) and Wendy Darling". It is the first time that her new stage name "Wendy Darling" appears in any publication. The last name of Blackwood came in credit to her husband Eric Blackwood lead singer and lead guitarist of Edison's Children whom she married in 2000. Wendy has created all of the interior artwork, CD plate and album covers for every one of Edison's Children's 8 releases (4 full length albums, 2 EP's, 1 Making of CD, 1 Vinyl Release) and all 3 of Rick Armstrong (Son of Neil Armstrong/Bassist-Guitarist-Keyboardist for Edison's Children) as well as doing backing vocals for Edison's Children's, "Where Were You" / "Where Were You" (Jakko's King Crimson Mix) / "Seventh Sign" / "Seventh Sign (Single Edit)" on the Edison's Children albums "The Final Breath Before November" and "Somewhere Between Here and There". Wendy is co-author of the "coffee table book" 500 Ballparks for Thunder Bay Publishing in 2 Editions in which Wendy personally photographed 500 baseball parks around the world. Wendy has also worked as a Property Technician, Set Dresser and Picture Car driver on the Movies "I Am Legend (starring Will Smith", "Loving Leah", "Law & Order: Criminal Intent", "Law & Order: SVU" and "The Backup Plan (starring Jennifer "JLo" Lopez). |

| Search | Add | 4 | Dryland Family Band | Dryland | Formed in 2014 of the best of pals, Dryland is not a myth. Through catchy, driving riffs riding a cloud of crunch, Dryland will guide the listener along a journey to populate the sun in a distant plane once inhabited by the Crab People, now ruled by the Moss Lord. Dryland exists somewhere in the space between Motörhead, Nick Cave, Red Fang, Danzig, and of course, Black Sabbath. Your mom will probably like them despite not liking "that kind of music." They released their first album, Self-Titled, in 2017 and are currently recording a new EP with producer+engineer Matt Bayles. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Williwaw | wm. whitmer | A williwaw is a violent squall, and also a sonic malestrom produced by the two hands, two feet, four strings, and many forms of amplification under the direction of Wm. McAllister Whitmer. Whitmer was born a polydactyl in the former screw capital of the world, and currently resides in the former shipbuilding capital of the world. Between screws and ships, Whitmer began mitigating the spectrotemporal constraints of the ’ukulele with the stochastic and bombastic properties of amplification under the stage name of williwaw. More than a quarter century later, williwaw continues to provide this most particular blend of amplified 'ukulele mayhem to all the stalwarts hep to its machinations. On numerous occasions, williwaw has also played sonic foil to silent reels o' film, and plays nice with others in the sandlot. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Ediktos Juveniles | Ediktos Juveniles, band from Posadas, Misiones, Argentina that moved between rock garage, hc and punx go go…. It started back in '95, at the end of that year. They met in the rock music scene of Posadas, which began to take shape around the year 92. By that year there were already many bands and a fairly large audience. Mali and Seko had known each other since ‘94 because they played together in a band called Necrology, a band whose music was very different from Ediktos . Javo and Misfit were part of those people who are always in shows and wanting to do things. They had a band that did not last long called Odio Extremo, and the four met each other precisely at concerts and as part of the same movement of people who liked rock and music with social content. With the passing of the years and many beautiful experiences in shows and rehearsals, they gave shape to what was their first album in April 1999, entitled "EDIKTOS JUVENILES, un banda posadeña que se movía entre el rock garage, el hc y el punx go go… . The doors were opened to them with outside gangs and it was possible to meet the gang in other places that crossed the borders of our province. They played in Buenos Aires on two occasions with the Boom Boom Kid, the first in La Trastienda for more than 1,000 people and the second on a mini tour that included three dates. Also in Mar del Plata, the interior of the province and in other provinces such as Corrientes, and even Paraguay, both in Encarnación (city opposite Pdas.) And in Asunción. In 2001, Ediktos underwent a change of member and joined the Carmelo guitar that came from playing in other bands (Basura S.A .. more precisely) | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Bogdan Tașcău | Marian Bogdan Tașcău | Romanian singer, composer, producer born in 1978 He attended the keyboard section of People's Art School in Bucharest and he is a graduated actor. At present, he attends the classes of the Faculty of Communication and Public Relations (SNSPA) as a second year student, but he is obviously mainly focused on music. Both as a singer and as a manager or composer as well, Bogdan was lucky, finding the right solution to changing a song, a band or a musical project into a success. In 1995, together with one of his best friends, Sorin, Bogdan initiated one of the first dance bands in Romania - MB&C. In 1996, MB&C released the first album of dance music in Romania (only one side of the tape, together with Isteria on the other side), Romanian Jungle and a year later he would participate in one of the most popular musical events of that period, Radio Contact Galas. The band released 3 albums between 1995 and 2000 and after that, Bogdan made his option for a solo career, under the name of Dl Problemă ("Mr. Problem"). A very successful period followed again for Bogdan, who released, in the years 2001-2004, 3 albums. As a composer and manager, he collaborated with important voices of Romanian musical stage, like [a553972] or [a646610], and he is the composer and manager of the band [a1917648], already at its third album. In 2006, Bogdan's composition activity was awarded with the Prize for Artistic Excellence offered by the Foundation [a918339] in Mamaia Festival, in the creation section, with the song Muza mea (“My Muse”), interpreted by his two good collaborators and friends, Andrei and Kamara ([a1917648] components). In 2000 he founded [l504492] Currently he relaunched his career with new project ''Free DeeJays'' together with Rareș Varniote. |
