Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025

Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Singlewave Rodrigo Navarrete Singlewave—the musical alias of Rodrigo Navarrete—has been crafting his sonic identity since 2009. Deeply influenced by the vibrant pop sounds of the '90s and '00s, his music blends nostalgia with modern production techniques, creating a unique fusion of electronic, dance-pop, house, and club beats. Drawing inspiration from the iconic melodies of his youth, Singlewave channels the energy of those formative years into his work. His productions embody a balance between classic and contemporary, combining sleek, modern electronic textures with the infectious rhythms and hooks of pop’s golden eras. Over the years, Singlewave's ability to blend genres has opened doors for collaborations with artists and bands that shaped his musical upbringing. Notably, he has worked alongside legendary acts like Ace of Base, an experience that marked a full-circle moment in his career, linking his childhood inspirations with his current artistic evolution. With over a decade of production experience under his belt, Singlewave continues to explore new creative horizons, delivering high-energy, emotionally resonant tracks that are just as suited for personal listening as they are for the dance floor.

Steve 9 years old played guitar and Joanne (Joan) 6 years old did comedy and sang with her father. For about ten years, they performed on the Côte Nord and in the Gaspé Peninsula. There was even a fan club. In Montreal they obtained contracts and worked for Mr. Richer, Mr. Tremble and Mr. Grimaldi's wife, who at the time owned a theatre agency. It was from 1984 that the family stopped performing in shows. Mr. Vincent continued alone or with one of his daughters, performing in telethons and volunteering time to help the sick and disabled.

Search Add 2 Utagawa Hiroshige II 二代目 歌川広重 Hiroshige II (二代目 歌川広重 Ni-daime Utagawa Hiroshige, 1826 – 17 September 1869) was a Japanese designer of ukiyo-e art. He inherited the name Hiroshige II following the death in 1858 of his master Hiroshige, whose daughter he married. In 1865 he moved from Edo to Yokohama in 1865 after dissolving his marriage and began using the name Kisai Risshō (喜斎立祥; alternate pronunciation: Ryūshō). His work so resembles that of his master that scholars have often confused them.

Search Add 2 Red Treasure Collin Daniels and Gabriel Rivero formed the core of Red Treasure in late 2015 in Los Angeles, with Daniels on vocals and guitar and Rivero on drums. Specialising in melodic, riff-centric power punk, the group's sound gives a definite nod to 90's alternative bands like Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana, along with a healthy dash of 80's-era Metallica hard rock. These elements come together on their debut 5-track EP, "The Hothouse Trip." In the studio, the band teamed up with Engineer/Co-Producer Spencer Guerra, and Rivero performed double-duty on bass and drums. For this first recording, the group also got crucial contributions from Daniels' college pal Corey Landis, of Corey Landis & The Attacks, on piano and backup vocals on the song "Only Human." Genre Alternative Rock Band Members Collin Daniels, Gabriel Rivero Home Town Los Angeles, CA, United States About Red Treasure creates melodic, riff-centric power punk, giving a definite nod to 90’s alternative bands like Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana, along with a healthy dash of 80’s-era Metallica hard rock. Biography Singer/Guitarist Collin Daniels had founded two bands in New York City, only to watch both dissolve as other members dropped out. Undeterred, he moved his whole life to Los Angeles for a fresh start. Native Angelino and multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Rivero had high hopes for the LA-based outfit he was playing lead guitar in. One day he found himself suddenly band-less in the wake of the lead singer’s unexpected departure. Through different, circuitous circumstances that now look a lot like fate, in 2015 they both ended up working at a call center for a large bank. Conversation between cubicles about common interests soon led to the first rehearsal of Red Treasure. The band began performing around LA in 2016, and their first EP, “The Hothouse Trip,” is set for release in June 2015. Current Location Los Angeles, CA, United States
