Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Osmosaïc | Trained by Mario Landry and Viviane Lamy Osmosaïc group was founded in 2002. The name of the training evokes both the chemistry that occurs between Mario and Viviane, who share the composition, voices and guitars and the diversity of their musical influences. In 2004, after a fruitful creative period, the two singer-authors are launching a debut album, Un, produced, directed and recorded in their home studio. This first album, which includes songs in English, signed Mario, and French, written by Viviane, enabling them to lay the foundation for their unique style distinguished by the prominence given to vocal harmonies, through poetry texts and by tinged melodies of medieval accents, Gregorian and Arabists. In spring 2005, the Osmosaïc duo began performing in the show after having expanded their repertoire of several new pieces. They will later nearly 200 performances in pubs, festivals and theaters across Quebec. The reaction of spectators and media who discover them is very positive. Gradually Osmosaïc is building a network of loyal fans bewitched by the richness of their repertoire and originality of their approach. In June 2007, obtaining a grant from the MRC de Roussillon Regional Cultural Fund allows them to design a staging with François Racine for a show they presented in March 2008 at the Vanier Cultural Centre of Châteauguay. In September 2008, a new collection of new songs in their wallet, members of Osmosaïc are ready to record a new album. They then approached the director François Lalonde (DobaCaracol, Lhasa de Sela, Tomas Jensen, Jean Leloup, Marco Calliari), who agrees to arrange and carry out their second album, an eponymous. Released in May 2009, the album features 11 rooms Osmosaïc the highly poetic texts inspired by nature and mestizo folk music of Latin accents, country, rock and Celtic. Refined and inventive arrangements are biased to the strings and percussion, adding subtle textures to the compositions which combines tradition and modernity. renowned musicians, including Yves Lambert and Mario Légaré, have collaborated to drive. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Hedda Gabler | Hedda Gabler is the name of a Dutch 1980s rock-noir band. Hedda Gabler's main original recorded works were self-released on vinyl: Scratching F.U.C.K on the Windshield (Vuurland-009, 1985) Mudhoney (Skeltone-001, 1987) House of Mourning (Luftmensch-001, 1990). The band Hedda Gabler received critical acclaim, notably the Dutch music journalist [a=Swie Tio] rated the band's output highly in his annual Top Ten lists, and the BBC DJ [a=John Peel] frequently featured the earlier Hedda Gabler tracks on his radio shows. Despite of this, the self-released albums were only sold in minor quantities, and have become collectors items. From the latter album House of Mourning the song 'Eating the Lion' (as a non-distributed single and a videoclip played on MTV) became a minor cult hit. In 2001 the band released their first CD compilation, entitled Layers (xtinct-001). | |

| Search | Add | 4 | TRANCITIV | TRANCITIV was founded in 1995 by Mike (vocals & keyboards) and Uschi (vocals & guitar) with the aim to combine Viennese dialect and Viennese attitude to life with groovy reggae vibes. The band released their first album "Es is Zeit" in 2009. This was followed by "TRANCITIV" (2012) and "Roots" (2014). The name TRANCITIV is meant to indicate both a potential achievement of a trance-like state through music and the fundamentally positive vibes the band spreads through their music. The profound and partly socially critical lyrics, which are written by Mike, let the need for more "togetherness" in love and respect be felt. Trancitive music should give people hope, but at the same time give them joy and above all motivate them to dance! | |
