Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Bad Luck Inc. | In 1986, Bad Luck inc. was started in Ferndale, Michigan, USA. Rick Nelson and Paul Whittaker, childhood friends, got together to put Paul’s music and Rick’s words together. Things were on there way, although there were different members that would come and go. After all the changes, the solid line up was formed of Paul Whittaker- vocals/guitar, Rick Nelson- bass/vocals, and Bob Branum- drums/vocals. These guys were the heart of Bad Luck. The band liked to play “raw-edge” style music. It was loud and rowdy, punk music– from originals to covers. Bad Luck actually recorded four albums and a few videos, as well. The band played at all the clubs/venues in the city and had quite a large fan base. The fans never knew what to expect. The shows sometimes had smoke machines, strobe/laser lights, mirrors/guitars smashed, it was never uneventful. The band stayed together until 1997. The members drifted apart into doing their own interests.

Search | Add | 2 | H. E. Erwin Walther | Heinrich Ernst Erwin Walther | H. E. Erwin Walther was born in 1920 in Amberg in the Upper Palatinate. His father, Ernst Walther (a student of Joseph Rheinberger, excellent pianist, a decade-long church organist and longtime choir director), taught his son from his early youth to the piano, harmonica, music history and composition. Erwin played piano with four, violin with eight, viola with thirteen and Waldhorn with sixteen years. After the Abitur, he was admitted to the State Conservatory in Würzburg with his own violinsonate in the master class of Prof. Zilcher. At the same time, he studied musicology at Oskar Kaul, counterpoint with Hans Schindler and in the Nebenfach Viola with Karl Bender, and as a guest speaker, philosophy, German studies and medicine. After the examination (1941) Walther was conscripted. As early as 1943, after a serious injury, he was released and sent to Bayreuth for the student's guidance by way of a compulsory service obligation for wounded academics. In addition to his studies and beginnings as a composer, Erwin Walther worked as a practicing musician. Already during his studies, he belonged as a violinist, a. The Hemlock Quartet and the Sturm Quartet in Nuremberg. The press called him a "pianist of rank" in 1949. As such, he taught studiocrites in the years 1949 to 1951, in which he used the art of (almost forgotten) improvisation. For the studios founded by Gerd Winkler in Amberg in 1950, he wrote stage music for numerous performances (among others works by Sartre, Cocteau, Brecht, etc.) as a "house composer". He was a co-founder of the Amberger Jazzclub, and since 1960 he had received numerous assignments for television films and radio productions. The stylistic and generic variety of his extensive work makes him a difficult artist. Freedom and independence determined his life as well as his work. With the literature, he has devoted himself to his life composition. H. E. Erwin Walther died in 1995 in Amberg. |

Search | Add | 2 | Holland Garcia | Holland was born on June 14, 1947 in Oakland, California. In his childhood he moved with his family to Carmel where he became a life-long resident. From an early age Holland was drawn to the arts. His natural ability, imagination, and passion for music guided him his entire life. As a young man he graduated from the Toronto Royal Conservatory of Music and began composing and teaching music. He taught piano for many years at the Robert Louis Stevenson School in Pebble Beach. Besides his talent as a musician Holland was also an accomplished author writing under the name Gene Andrade, and an artist skilled in many mediums. He was a generous individual who loved being in nature and was passionate about educating his students about the beauty of music. "I'm a lifelong seeker of truth and wisdom. For many years I studied with a famous spiritual teacher who glorified yoga and meditation. When I realized that I was out of touch with my feelings, I then studied with a teacher who glorified emotions. Feeling bored after a few years, I then studied with a teacher who glorified the mind. Awakening to the reality that all are equal and that nobody should be followed, I finally went my own way. Now I follow my own heart and look within for the light to guide me on my path."

Search | Add | 2 | DJ Boronas | George Boronas | Boronas begun his dj career during the mid 90's in Thessaloniki, Greece. Early influences came from his parents record collection. Some piano and guitar lessons where enough to make him realize his love for music and made him want to be a part of all that. A few years later George started to collect vinyl which ignited his passion to use these records to create a mood in a club. Soon after, at the age of 16, he got the chance to start his dj career as he started playing his first parties. At the time George was mixing break beat, jungle and intelligent drum n' bass Style. Soon he changed his musical taste and moved into deep house, house, tech-house and techno with influences that came from USA's 90's house and techno scene, as well as house from the UK. George had residencies in various clubs in his hometown of Thessaloniki and was also organising nights with Pale Penguin. Together they planned parties hosting guest DJs, live musicians and local heroes who supported the events with live instruments like sax, guitars, keyboards and percussion. Until now he has played alongside artists like Wareika, Loco Dice, Martin Buttrich, Aril Brikha. |

Search | Add | 2 | Elekid | Jerry Greco III | Since the age of 14, in Chicago (1997), Elekid has turned DJing into a science, mastering the art, and becoming a household name, placing him among some of the top DJs in the harder styles of electronic music in North America. Not limiting himself to just one or two styles, Elekid's wide variety and unique approach to mixing is what makes his sets memorable and loved by many. His methods of engineering sets and being able to execute with extraordinary accuracy is what has made him a sought after DJ. Elekid's breakout from the Midwest happened in 2002, and he hasn't looked back since. Playing from coast to coast, in almost every major city, and on many radio shows and podcasts, Elekid has left crowds demanding more. In 2004, Elekid started his "Summer Vacation" series, showcasing all that he's capable of, with each one being unique, themed, and entertaining from start to finish. Every year brings a new and different Summer Vacation. One year might be Frenchcore, another Happy Hardcore, or Jumpstyle, another Breaks. These mixes are a part of a vast collection of mix compilations Elekid has released since 1997, which can all be downloaded from his Soundcloud. In 2005, Elekid took it to the next level and began producing, starting with Hard House. In the years since, Elekid has had several releases and remixes, most notably, "Tekno Drugs", on several different labels. More recently, he has been a heavy backer for Frenchcore in America, and has been pushing the Frenchcore sound. If it's hard, it's Elekid. |
