Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 5 | Hipless | Hipless is Jerusalem based producer, composer, and bass player Avner Cohen. Hipless is into Jazz and experimental music and was a member of some great bands in the Israel music scene. While studying Music Production & Sound Engineering at Catalyst Institute for Creative Arts & Technology at the renowned Funkhaus in Berlin he caught the techno bug in the cities filthiest clubs. “Jazz is the mother of techno”, says Avner Cohen. So, no wonder, he is waiting like everyone else for the return of the club scene. Until then, he stays cool, draws, enjoys a beer, and collaborates with musicians around the globe.

Search | Add | 5 | ZimNovich | Ilya Zimnovich & Milla Zimnovich | ZimNovich are a record production duo, composed of siblings Ilya Zimnovich and Milla Zimnovich. They started their first music experiments in the late 1990s with IBM PC and music trackers, following psychedelic trance tunes of X-Dream and Astral Projection, and then rave and breakbeat tunes of the Prodigy and the Chemical Brothers. About 7 singles were locally released during their first collaboration, the Miracle. One of the singles, entitled "Stella", was licensed to Paragon Software Group for their Palm PDA computer game. The other single "Thunder" was an experiment of electronica dark wave and alternative rock. The song was very famous locally in their hometown and was performed live at local festivals. Then, following success of Incognito, De-Phazz, LTJ Bukem, and Miguel Migs they switched to making lounge and acid jazz music. The Ez Presso band was born. They performed their 8 singles at Sensomusic 2006 lounge music festival. In 2014 they returned back to an electronic roots. Now they have finally found their very own distinctive sound with ZimNovich. Their current genre is a mixture of New Beat, Techno, Electroclash and Neo EBM. They also work in different styles like Synth-pop, Alternative Rock, Trap, Hip-Hop, Industrial, Dark Wave, IDM, EDM and Dubstep. |

In 1994, it released an album called "We Came to Make Joy", which was a great success mainly due to the song "Zingerla", the Hebrew words of which were written by Sharit Barness based on a gypsy tune by Burda Novkovic. "Zingerla" became a big hit in Israel and following the The Psagot Band it was recorded by other artists including Enrico Macias, who recorded it in French for his performances in Israel that year... Search | Add | 5 | Ritmos Tropicosmos | Ritmos Tropicosmos is a seven-piece psychedelic cumbia group, from Oakland, California. They began as a studio project by founding members Jake Rodriguez (órgano) and Bobby Ganush (bass) in October, 2018. Soon after, they enlisted percussionists Jules Anastasia (congas) and Güira Güero (timbales, guacharaca) with Da'vid Garcia on vocals to record the Halloween themed "Tumba de la Momia". In 2019, they augmented the band by adding a full line up, consisting of Eli Reyes on vocals and synthesizers, Lesli Rodriguez on güira and vocals, Danny Ceseña on guitar and part-time member Ivan Flores on caja. Later that year, they released their debut 45 on Discos Más, consisting of two songs: "Tumba de la Momia" and "Beso de Muerte". Ritmos Tropicosmos continues with a heavy emphasis on tropical waveforms and psychedelic sounds. Their inspiration is the sum of their seven minds - meeting at the intersection of multiple timelines. A crossroads of electricity and molten earth, somewhere within the traditional rhythms of the past and the futuristic textures of The Now.

Search | Add | 5 | Gáspár Kornél | Kornél Gáspár | Gáspár Kornél is one of the Hungary’s most precious hidden gems. In the early 90's he released a lot of raw trashy dadaistic cassette tapes. Musically it occupies a space between new wave, electro and industrial. The lyrics, mostly in Hungarian, evoke a poignant and mysterious combination of poetic descriptions of the post-socialist reality, unmistakably dystopic images of the future that are sweetened by an almost folksy humour of a bygone era. This in itself would already win - his projects like [a=Új Látásmód Fúzió], [a=Nosztalgia Direktíva] etc a considerable chapter in the history books of the Hungarian electronic music scene. What makes this baritone voice absolutely inimitable though is the fact that the songs are delivered with a wonderfully charming avant-garde showmanship that is both surprising and self-evident at the same time. |

Search | Add | 5 | Overthought | Overthought is an electro/acoustic Rock duo from Pavullo nel Frignano, near Modena. Born in October 2016 the band is formed by Michele Magnani (voice, guitar) and Przemek Werbik (bass). Their musical references range from Ben Howard, to Stu Larsen and Passenger (among the others), but these young musicians’ background goes back to the 90s, to the Seattle grunge scene. This reflects directly on their instrumental and compositional approach. The straightforward songwriting and guitar playing -which lets the bass free to explore- give birth to an easy-listening, yet detailed sound. In 2020 they publish their self-titled album, recorded at All Right Riserva studio, produced by Achille Caifa for Yoloco Music inc. and published by All Right Riserva Recordz.

Search | Add | 5 | Morticia's Chair | Cleveland-based band Morticia’s Chair evolved out of a series of musical experiments hosted by vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Mark Kae as he was casting about for a new avenue of musical expression following the breakup of the band Screwtractor. Originally conceived as a fluid vehicle for his diverse artistic tastes and talents, Morticia’s Chair eventually coalesced into its current lineup, featuring Kae, drummer Michael J. Graehling who played with bands like Whatts Gnu, and The Bad Checks, and bassist Frank Prpic, also of Center for Rock Research and formerly with bands such as Nameless Desire, the Tools and ADM, in which he also played with Mark Kae. During the four years that Screwtractor was together, recording for MCA and touring the country with their powerful, dramatic music that blended metal, gothic and industrial influences, Kae was also developing a personal musical vision. When Screwtractor broke up in 1995, Kae started to work on that vision in his practice space, adding and subtracting other musicians based on their ability to relate what he was trying to do.

Search | Add | 5 | Stephanie Staples | Stephanie Staples has spent half her life captivating audiences with her rich, dynamic, and soothing voice. Passionate and expressive, Stephanie has the keen ability to connect with a wide variety of audiences. Her strong stage presence and down to earth nature enables her to communicate, entertain, and inspire. Stephanie has been involved in music ever since she was a little girl, first participating in musical theatre and studying vocal performance under the direction of three different vocal coaches. She began singing professionally at age thirteen, appearing at music festivals, conferences, churches and other venues. A gifted songwriter, Stephanie has recorded six self-produced albums. The first, Breathe on Me—an easy-listening acoustic album with soul-searching lyrics—was released in 2001 and again in 2003 to include two additional songs. Her second project, Face to Face was released in 2006, and Journey Home followed in 2007. Over the years, Stephanie has been privileged to work with (and learn from) some of the best musicians in the business, including Grammy Award-winning guitarist Bill Hatcher (Henry Mancini, Luciano Pavarotti), Mike Pachelli, and Ronnie Ciago. Hatcher has been a consistent contributor on all six of Stephanie’s projects, including her latest release, Interlude. Each of Stephanie’s albums has a unique sound but all portray the same quality: genuineness. Over the years many listeners have commented that her albums are “soothing” and “an experience.” This quality can’t be faked—Stephanie has faced the darkness, having passed through suffering and hard times, and she pours the full depth of her experiences into her music, taking the listener on a journey with her through the dark times—yet always in the presence of true peace and redemption. Sing Over Me (2010), is an eclectic album, with each song having a distinct flavor, prominently featuring Latin, organic, and classical elements along with creative percussion and strings (cello, violin, upright bass). This diversity of sound centers upon a single theme—that of learning to accept life’s uncertainties and discovering peace. In 2013 Stephanie released a Christmas record, Emmanuel. Stephanie has traveled across the United States and all the way to China to share her music. Her long list of credits include festivals, retreats, universities, schools (elementary, middle, and high schools), churches, conferences, campus ministries, multiple centers for disadvantaged youth/inner city ministries, military bases, and shelters for the homeless. She has performed before 20,000 at New Zealand’s Parachute Music Festival, joining Third Day’s Mac Powell for a powerful rendition of the duet, “God of Wonders,” has made many trips to Brooklyn, New York to minister at Teen Challenge, an organization founded by David Wilkerson to help the addicted, and has opened for a variety of artists including Third Day, Tammy Trent, Newsong, and Jaci Valasquez. Her passion to encourage and bring light and joy to people has been a motivating force in continuing her musical journey for over a decade. Stephanie currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, Erik Rostad, daughter Scotlyn Naomi, and two fur children, Java and Edward.

Search | Add | 5 | Kim Wickes | The last thing Kim Wickes saw with her own eyes was the flash of a bomb. Born in 1947 to a poor family in Korea, she was only 3 years old when Communist forces in the north began attacking their fellow Koreans in the south in 1950. When the first bomber roared over the family’s village in rural South Korea, Kim’s father told the family to lie flat on the ground and cover their faces. But Kim looked up just as a bomb exploded, and after that day, she could only see shadows and faint outlines. Read more at Billy Graham clink link below.

Search | Add | 5 | JANUZART | Arjan Vergeer | Arjan Vergeer aka JANUZART is an artist from his hometown Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Most of his friends and family call him Januz, which is how the name “ JANUZART” came about. From an early age, Arjan has always loved to draw, which naturally led to his desire to learn to paint professionally. He started with traditional painting with acrylic and oil colours and graduated from the art school De Willem De Kooning Academy in 2001. Since then he has worked with many clients, mainly doing t-shirt designs, illustrations, Album artwork, murals, party decorations, tattoo designs, landscapes, character designs, album covers, posters and much more. His style is versatile, but always contains recognisable “ JANUZART elements” such as ornaments, bright colours and psychedelic patterns. His art is also very detailed and unique. In 2001, he won two design competitions that took him twice to the land of the rising sun, Japan. He travelled with a delegation to celebrate 400 years of trade relations between Japan and the Netherlands. Japan felt like home and he is keen to return there one day. Since then, Arjan has been heavily inspired by Japanese manga and pop culture, robots and mech art. |
