Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Организатор и художественный руководитель: [a3815478] -------------------------------------- The ethnosphere project brings together outstanding musicians, composers, and folklorists whose work is connected with the ethnic culture of the peoples of Russia. This is not just a Union of famous creative personalities, but a rapidly developing cultural movement that aims to attract the attention of professional musicians, creative youth and all those who care about the fate of Russian culture to the problem of preserving and developing the Russian tradition in new forms of modern music. The genre palette of the project "ethnosphere" is extremely diverse: from acoustic solo instruments, bells and old Russian choral singing to jazz, fusion, pop and electronic compositions. The composition of virtuoso musicians performing within the project is no less diverse.

Search | Add | 3 | Ernie Goodson | Ernie Goodson (1910-1995) was a highly regarded jazz clarinetist and saxophonist known for his exceptional talent and contributions to the world of Dixieland jazz. Born in 1910, he began his musical journey as a self-taught musician, with his first performance in the Pit Orchestra of the Tampa Theatre at the age of 17. In 1930, he moved to Miami, where he became an integral part of the local music scene. Over the years, he played at various iconic venues, including the Olympia Theatre (now the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts), Flagler Gardens, Biscayne Dog Track, and numerous Miami Beach hotels. Ernie Goodson's career took a significant turn in the late 1940s when he joined the Preacher Rollo Dixieland Band, a band that gained recognition in the music industry. After the band's breakup in 1960, he continued to perform, collaborating with prominent bandleaders like Ted Lewis, Dick Stabile (for the Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis Television Show), and Skitch Henderson (on Steve Allen's Tonight Show). In 1968, Goodson embarked on a fruitful musical partnership with trumpeter Don Goldie. They played together at jazz festivals across the country, recorded eight albums, and their collaboration lasted until 1992. Ernie Goodson's music was not just about skill; he had a unique way of connecting with people. Described as "witty and charming" by his daughter Teresa Matthews, his warm and engaging personality left a lasting impression on those who had the pleasure of meeting him. Beyond his musical prowess, Goodson had a way of making people feel good and radiated positivity. Throughout his life, Ernie Goodson left an indelible mark on the world of Dixieland jazz, enriching the genre with his talent, versatility, and a knack for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere through his music and personality.

Search | Add | 3 | The Aire Valley Singers | The Aire Valley Singers were founded by David Bryan, in 1970 and continued to flourish under his leadership and inspired conducting for more than 30 years. David was ably assisted by Doreen Anderson, who later took over as Musical Director. Originally about 16 voices, the choir’s numbers have now doubled, but it remains a chamber choir, singing mainly “a cappella” music and occasionally pieces accompanied by organ or a small orchestra. The choir’s repertoire ranges from the Renaissance to the present day, and from the serious to lighter arrangements of popular music. Over the years the choir has performed in various countries, including visits to Germany, Belgium, Holland, Norway, France, Italy, Spain, Wales and the U.S.A. Honours they have received include a first prize at the Rencontres Internationales de Chant Choral at Tours in the Loire Valley, and an award for the Best Chamber Choir at the Royal Albert Hall. They were twice runners-up in the BBC’s “Let the Peoples Sing” competition. Each season the choir adopts a charity and have raised thousands of pounds. They have appeared on radio and television at home and abroad and have produced a number of recordings. Now directed by Barbara Bancroft, the choir continues to provide pleasure for audiences and to maintain the highest standards in choral music. The choir has a number of talented instrumentalists as well as solo singers, with organ, harp, flute and piano often to be heard at concerts. (c) Aire Valley Singers

Search | Add | 3 | The InTime Quintet | The InTime Quintet specializes in performing music in the style of tango nuevo created by Astor Piazzolla. The quintet consists of Henrik Perelló violin, Markku Lindeman accordion, Tuomas Turriago piano, Jorma Salmela guitar and Petri Mäkiharju bass. The musicians continue to carry on the live performance of Piazzolla's quintet music in a self-righteous manner, bringing it to its own temperament, which may not be quite normal in the Nordic countries. In 1994, InTime Quintet came to the attention of the music world by winning the first international Astor Piazzolla competition in Italy. and has since recorded 5 CDs of this music (ALBA). In addition to concerts in Finland, the band has performed in Sweden, Estonia, Denmark, Russia, France, Argentina, Japan, Emirates and Germany and has received an enthusiastic reception in concerts and jazz clubs as well as in chamber music, folk and avant-garde festivals. Finnish contemporary composers such as Kalevi Aho, Hannu Pohjannoro, Ilari Laakso, and Leonid Bashmakov have commissioned works for the quintet, with a viewpoint extending from the traditional style to the avant-garde. InTime Quintet also collaborates with dance artists such as La Camorra (Mobita-Dansco), Kaari Martin and Tommi Kitti. The InTime Quintet repertoire now also includes finnish well known songs adapted to the tango nuevo spirit. In 2015 the quintet released the record "Kotimaiset Tangoklassikot" featuring the singer Jari Pekkinen.

Search | Add | 3 | Some Guy Named Robb | Robb McCormick | Some Guy Named Robb AKA singer songwriter Robb McCormick is a native to Arkansas and Colorado. He has headlined festivals and opened up for acts as diverse as John Fogarty (Creedence Clearwater Revival) to Sister Hazel and the Bellamy Brothers. As well as sharing the bill with Steve Poltz (Jewel) & Glenn Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket) among others. Growing up he was inspired by lyrically and musically rich songwriters like Paul Simon, John Denver, and Neil Diamond. In his teenage years he found alternative rock music through bands like The Cure, Depeche Mode, and The Replacements. His music is an amalgamation of all these influences, as well as Reggae, Punk, Soul, and Blues. His love for music is matched only by his high regard for lyricism. He has spent his life writing and performing music, full time professionally since he was a teenager. He’s performed thousands of shows, to hundreds of thousands of people, nationally and internationally. In his own words: “The best shows are when I get to connect with the audience. When they are with me and I’m with them and we get to share a special moment together. Most musicians will tell you we perform music to make connections. That’s me. The best room is one who has come to have fun, to surrender to the evening and see where it may take us. From tears to laughter. From clapping hands to singing along with me. I live for those musical moments.” Robb has recently been on tour across the ocean in the United Kingdom, in England and France, as well as touring from coast to coast in America. Taking a moment to stop in Memphis and recording his album, "The Folkster" at the world famous Sun Studios with Grammy winning producer Matt Ross-Spang.(Jason Isbell/Brandi Carlisle/Sean Rowe/Chris Isaak/Margo Price) Robb has toured both nationally and internationally to critical acclaim, with his very own bluesy, indie folk-rock sound music and unique blend of eclectic and often surprising covers. He has written well over a thousand songs, played over 7000 shows, released and sold 9 original albums and played to hundreds of thousands of people.
