One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

A nivel internacional, el "Grup de danses El Forcat" ha desempeñado una función importante, representar nuestra tierra por numerosos países, siendo los europeos los más visitados y en los que más se ha solicitado nuestra colaboración, entre ellos: Francia, República Checa, República Eslovaca, Portugal y Bulgaria. En cuanto a la experiencia en televisión es diversa: grabación de bailes de procesión con motivo del Día de la Comunidad para diferentes canales privados , actuación en diferentes programas de CANAL 9 Televisión Valenciana, muestra de bailes regionales para VALENCIA TeVe, actuación desde la Plaza del Pilar en Zaragoza para TVE, etc.. Otro apartado dentro de la investigación, es el dedicado a las canciones, músicas y bailes, haciendo trabajos de recuperación, enseñanza y difusión de las composiciones casi desaparecidas. También cabe destacar nuestra labor de difusión de los trabajos de investigación mediante conferencias, recopilación de indumentaria original tradicional valenciana en distintas exposiciones y muestras; y grabación en soporte magnético de música y canciones populares. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Verell Pennington"VP" Ferguson, Jr. and his sister Betty Ferguson Allen. His is survived by his wife Micki Ferguson,his son James Smith Ferguson, Jr and his wife, Victoria Fisher Ferguson andtheir two children, Jack Fisher Ferguson and Max Pennington Ferguson. Son Robert Alexander Ferguson. Stepchildren, Travis and Shana Childress and Robert and Sunshyne Pothier. His is also survived by two step grandchildren Lorelei Pothier and Carter James Pothier. There will be a celebration of his life later when it is safe to do so.He graduated from S.S. Lee High School in 1953. He earned his B.A.degree from the University of Mississippi in 1956. He entered the teaching profession by taking a position as Director of Bands, Pontotoc Mississippi High School in 1957 followed by his position as Band Director at Marks Mississippi High School 1958-1960 and H.V. Cooper High School Band in Vicksburg, Mississippi1961-1963. He received his Master of Music Degree in 1965 and his Doctor of Music Education in 1966. From 1966 - 1970 Jim was the Director of Bands and Full Professor at The University of Mississippi. Then he became the Director of Bands and Full Professor at the University of Alabama from 1971through1983. After retiring from band directing, Jim started Datron Software Services in Birmingham, Alabama. In 1992he moved to New Orleans, Louisiana with Micki and their blended family and obtained his Master of Social Work degree.When the family moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1996, Jim worked as an Oracle DBA and Data Analyst, before retiring once again in 2011 to enjoy nature and create musical projects. Jim remained an ardent student of all subjects for his lifetime. In the weeks preceding his death he had decided he was going to learn to play piano like Dr. John. He was doing very well on the piece, "Just a Closer Walk with Thee."In his childhood he played daily on the Toby Tubby and the Luxapalila Creeks near Columbus. He was a dedicated teacher, pilot, a sailor, and a wonderful father, friend and life companion.When he retired in 2011 he began in earnest his devotion to his beloved backyard bluebirds and his puppies. He often said he wanted to talk to the animals like Tarzan did. Gracie and Lucy listened devotedly to every word he said. I believe the bluebirds were listening in his backyard. Initially the band was supposed to be a side project, but they quickly realized their potential and jam sessions turned into a full-fledged band. Daniel Johnson (formerly of Guinness Clarke’s Wine) and Matt “Beevare” Jeffrey (formerly of Lifter) formed the band. The band quickly captured the attention of Derek Maynard who joined the band almost immediately adding his electrifying abrasive vocal tone to the bands already talented roster. The band then sought after a second guitarist in an effort to create Iron Maiden like guitar styling. Joe Baer (formerly of Born For Eternity) was the man for the job. The band was then rounded out with Adam Adkins (formerly of Born For Eternity) he brought not only bass playing to the table, but his voice also, supplying the contrasting clean vocals and backup vocals throughout what has become the bands signature sound. In September of 2007, Let The Guilt Hang released their debut album ‘The Unspeakable’. Opening for bands like Byzantine, As I Lay Dying, The Haunted, All That Remains, Trivium, and August Burns Red the band had quickly made a name for themselves around the region. The band has just recently released their latest album ‘In Tongues’ which was recorded at Domicile Studio in Cross Lanes, WV and was produced by Eric Hayne (The Corinthian, Isla Sorna, Profligation). - Fist, Metal Nexus. The band had split with rhythm guitarist Joe Baer some time after "The Unspeakable" was released and was replaced by Aaron Casey who is credited for certain work on not only "The Unspeakable," but also "In Tongues." He played with the band for an extended amount of time between the two albums playing live as well as writing music, but exited the band before most of the writing was completed for "In Tongues." Tyler Lowe then took the rhythm guitar position and is credited for most rhythm guitar sections on the new album, but shortly after In Tongues was released Tyler had also left the band after just a small stint of live shows. Cody Frye was next to step up to the position who is the band's current rhythm guitarist completing the current lineup of the band. The band has yet to release new material under the current lineup. | |

Some good fun Punk Rock tunes followed, and in less than four months we had managed to get together an albums worth of 12 songs!! Our first 6 track EP, Punk for Life, was recorded at the end of 2016 in true DIY style and is available from the band. We have a bit of variety in our locker so hopefully there's something for everyone in the set!?!?! Also, we have more songs in the pipeline, and it's really nice to have the pleasure & option of moving the songs around to suit every situation!! We had our first gig @Frog & Fiddle in Cheltenham Glos. Saturday 24th September 2016 with lots more gigs now played supporting, amongst others, UK Subs, The Lurkers, Subhumans, DeRellas, Hands Off Gretel, and Reno Divorce from the States. We've also played a number of festivals in 2017 including Bash the Bishop, Degeneration, Juzbcuz, No More Heroes, and Rebellion. Many more gigs in the pipeline and we'll put flyers for all those and more up on here as soon as we can!! We'll have merchandise at all gigs too, so keep your eyes open for that and a new album in the pipeline. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Reversio | What could the Lithuanian birbynė / reed-pipe (an original Lithuanian woodwind instrument) and Renaissance and Baroque music of Western Europe have in common? The answer lies in this specially composed chamber music ensemble Reversio (founded by Darius Klišys in 2004) which features birbynė players accompanied by organ/harpsichord and viola da gamba. The idea behind the ensemble - to play early European music using authentic Lithuanian instruments - became their mark of originality: the expressive and contrasting sounds of the birbynė are surprisingly similar to early wind instruments such as the cornett, recorder, oboe, and chalumeau. Performing the early music, the birbynė reveals nuances and colours unheard, highlights the flexibility of compositions, and offers a new look at the early music as well as other musical genres, be it classical or contemporary. Musicians of the Reversio ensemble change according to the programmes, from three to seven musicians playing together. The main repertoire of the ensembles covers those written in the 16th and 17th centuries in Lithuanian and Polish territories. There is also a strong focus on early Italian Baroque. |
