Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Loose Helmet | Hailing from the heart of Houston, TX, Loose Helmet burst onto the scene in 2022 with a fierce DIY spirit and a sound that refuses to fit neatly into any one box. Formed in the same year, they released their raucous demo, quickly followed by their self-titled album in 2023, cementing their place in the underground punk scene. Self-proclaimed “punk rock idiots,” the band blends the raw, rebellious energy of punk with the experimental edge of post-punk, art-punk, and an ambitious reach toward Avant-punk territory. With each live show, Victor Martinez (vocals/guitar) channels a larger-than-life persona, his voice dripping with expression and exaggeration that draws you in and demands your attention. When Victor slips on his tiny black sunglasses, you know the show is about to explode into pure chaos. The band’s sound is as unique as its members. Victor's angular guitar work navigates between the dissonant melodies of Sonic Youth and the twangy intricacies of The Ventures. Behind the kit, Nate Glenn delivers a drumming performance that is a machine-like force; once the rhythm starts, it doesn't stop. His relentless energy drives the band forward, propelling the music with intensity. Holding it all together is Chase Wagner on bass, who lays down a heavy, groove-laden foundation that ties every sound together with perfect precision, accentuating the unique interplay between the guitar and drums. Rounding out the sonic landscape is Rex Von Pohl on keys, whose otherworldly tones could have easily been lifted from the halls of the USS Enterprise itself, adding a futuristic, almost eerie vibe to the band’s sound. Their music feels like it could soundtrack a '60s surf movie—except in this version, the characters are devoured by sharks while the band plays on, fearless and unstoppable. A Loose Helmet performance isn’t just a show—it’s an experience. Their energy is infectious, their sound is thrilling, and their wild unpredictability keeps you on your toes. If you’re looking for an unfiltered, high-octane live show full of punk rock madness, don’t miss the chance to see Loose Helmet—they’re not just a band, they’re an event. | |

Vego fronted his own band as well as playing drums in the alternative rock group Sister Psychic from around 1991 to 1994. He worked on [m=1466813] and [m=629381], before leaving, somewhere presumably in 95' or 96' as being replaced or not involved as much with Sister Psychic In 2021, to mourn his still very affecting loss, there was a bandcamp put up, showing off a re-release of [r=26850992]. It was an album release completed just months before he took his life. This is where [a=Andy Davenhall] would pick up after his songs in 2000-2002, for his tribute band to Sister Psychic & Vego, [a=The Lawnmowers (4)]. Ryan suffered from Crohn's disease, alcoholism and depression. He lost his courageous battle with his demons in March 2000. Born on November 17, 1967 and died in Seattle on March 20, 2000, age 32, by 2023, he would be 53. Rest in Peace, Ryan Vego. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Skarate KID | Skarate KID were formed in Tel Aviv, Israel, in early 2015. The agenda was, and still is, to make people happy and to spread the good vibes all around. Musically speaking, the style is Ska blended with Reggae, Rock, Gypsy music and Middle Eastern music. Going with the flow of the Ska tradition, Skarate KID's songs are all about romance and freedom. The diverse Skarate ship sails between all Ska countries and periods: From the deep roots in Jamaica, inspired by the good old times in the UK and festivities of South America and Eastern Europe, not forgetting a sip of Bourbon in the US. and a few good sips of Arak back home… The Skarate KIDs bring their own unique twist and serve up the Middle Eastern Ska style. Each of the band members comes from a different background, and each one brings his own unique vibes and style into the mix. Together, like the good friends they are, like mighty morphing Power Rangers, they form an unstoppable Megazord. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Warcupid | Warcupid was born as a long-distance project between southern and southeastern Brazil, driven by friendship and a shared urge to play raw, dirty crust — no filters, no trends. The idea came together between Renan Terrotten and Juliano (Disarm, original member of the project), rooted in the punk-hardcore scene where some members have been active since the late 1980s. Now with a active lineup, Warcupid is: Renan Terrotten – vocals Julio – guitar Rodrigo Alemão – guitar Eduardo – bass Leandro – drums With backgrounds in bands like Gritos de Alerta, Estado Terminal, Unidos pelo Ódio, Living in Hell, R.E.D., Warkrust, and Catholic Killer, the members of Warcupid carry decades of DIY shows, tours, labels and resistance. The sound is a blast of D-beat, crust, and aggressive punk, influenced by bands like Discharge, Doom, Anti-Cimex, and Disclose, yet shaped by their our own identity — urgent, raw, and confrontational. In it for life, not fashion. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Fall, The Rise | The Fall, The Rise are 4 friends from Birmingham. They also played rock music. Together they peddled their tuneful, hard- edged wares for over 5 years (2007-2012). The bands goal was a simple one: Write music they enjoy playing. This invariably lead to songs dealing in quiet/loud dynamics, powerhouse drumming, fluid basslines, intricate guitar work and lyrics dealing with the human condition | |
