Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Bert Van Vorselen | Contestant and one of the winners of Dutch television program "Moppentoppers". The idea behind the show is comparable to the later concept of "The Voice Of...", with the difference that in "Moppentoppers", regular people don't sing, but have to tell jokes before a jury and if they were good enough, they could become a winner or, as the title goes, a "Moppentopper". Finalists had to be able to entertain a live audience more or less like a stand up comedian. Performs on the release [r8760271].

Search | Add | 3 | Frozen Silk | Band info (Info state 11|2020) FROZEN SILK - that's hot and powerful power rock from Bremerhaven, which is its personal genre defined in a thrilling mixture of catchy pop elements and grooving heavy hard rock! This impressive stylistic variety is supported by the characteristic voice of the front woman Sharon Wynne, who captures the full range of deep emotions with her expressive singing, from pure energy and willpower to deep melancholic abysses, brought to life. Biography: FROZEN SILK was founded in 1997 under the name "SILK" in Bremerhaven and was able to convince its audience and critics with numerous performances in its debut year. After the band won the renowned "Live in Bremen" music contest in 1999, they presented their highly acclaimed debut album "Power" the very next year, which was released under the now extended band name "SILK 99" on the Superrock-Records label and subsequently pre- sented live on a nationwide promotion tour. After more than 100 equally successful and ex- hausting performances, the band members decided in 2006 to go their separate ways and pursue their own projects. Fortunately, this decision was already revised in 2011, so that a new chapter of the band was opened under the name FROZEN SILK with only slightly changed original line-up. Since 2011 FROZEN SILK has been a constant guest on regional and nationwide stages and has made a more than good name for itself as a rousing live act. The band not forgets to transmit their musical power to the audience again and again, but also to demonstrate their qualities to critics, editors and presenters. Since 2018, the four musicians of FROZEN SILK have also been retreating into the studio again and again to work on material for a new album in parallel to their live activities. The re- lease of "Back to life" is scheduled for spring 2021. Search | Add | 3 | Elstow | Elstow formed in 2012 after playing Peats Ridge Festival (Australia) on the back of a few rough demos. The songwriting duo Jared Shaw and Chel Browne expanded to five members by 2014 and released their debut EP AS THE SUN FALLS, a low-fi psych folk offering drawing on the melodic psychedelia of the late 60s. Described as "a psychedelic romance", it preceded the single EVIL DREAMS, which blended their hazy 60s vibe with a 90s neopsychedelic sound, with crisp tambourines, dreamy vocals and self-indulgent lyrics. Moving forward, Shaw took the role of sole songwriter and spent the better part of 2015-16 crafting their debut LP PLANETS AWAY, to be released in December. Further evolving Elstow's palette, the album merges 90s neopsychedelia with a distinctly 70s sound, drawing on modern influences like The Flaming Lips and Jim James, as well as taking inspiration from yesteryear heroes spanning the likes of Jefferson Airplane and George Harrison to Marvin Gaye. Shaw admits being infatuated with the science fiction of John Wyndham when writing Elstow’s new record, discovering new imagery to express his own ideas and thoughts. The sun and moon feature prominently throughout the work, tying together the different parts into a coherent whole. The resulting album is awash with vivid synths, warm guitars and bright commanding vocals, with Browne providing signature vocal harmonies in all the right places. Driven by hypnotic drum and bass grooves, PLANETS AWAY is rhythmically-driven space-infused psych pop, that will confound and surprise listeners as it evolves with each listen. Co-produced by Darragh Nolan (Sacred Animals) of Asta Kalapa Studios (Ireland), and mastered by Andrew Davenport at Edgeworth Studios (NZ), PLANETS AWAY is to be released Dec 1st.

He comes from years of touring as a founding member and saxophone player for the successful soul rock band, [a=Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds]. And has been an active sideman and bandleader in the NYC music scene for multiple projects. One who sees the world with red eyes often views life through tainted lenses. A person with red eyes comes from a place of hate, shame, and prejudice. Contrarily, a person with yellow eyes chooses to be idealistic, and is often naïve, oblivious to the realities of the world we live in today . Through eyes of orange color he sees not only the pain but, also the joy in his own soul and in the soul of every person. His state of mind is even-keeled, body in a state of equilibrium. Enjoying the highs of life, but also living & knowing the lows. Whether we call it balance, ying-yang, homeostasis, living in moderation, or being centered, to have EyeColorOrange is our ultimate goal.

Search | Add | 3 | Luis Groove | Luis Díaz Ferrero | With some renowned tracks and remixes on labels like his very own Lowpitch and Overall Music, and with a career that dates back to the 90’s in Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. Luis Groove surely is one of the rising artists in the spanish underground music scene. Whether it's because of his role as Label Manager on his own digital imprint Lowpitch for the last 4 years, where important artists of the new electronic music spanish wave like Hanfry Martinez, Javier Carballo or Julian Perez had their very first releases on the market. Or because of his U Wanna Escape? party hosted in clubs like Sankeys Ibiza with guests of the like of Sonja Moonear, Maayan Nidam, Alex Picone or Binh. He has shared the booth with every top artist on the scene and his sets have been heard from all around Europe at clubs and festivals like Altavoz Festival, Tag Club (Venice), Chalet, MFG Club (Berlin), Cirque Paradis (Paris), The Ditch (London), La Ruche (Laussane), Goa @ Fabrik, Weekend, Charada (Madrid), Velvet, Heaven (Gran Canaria), Miniclub, Friends, Foc in Festival (Valencia), Sonar Off, Life Parade (Barcelona) and now based in Ibiza at the most of the clubs and events around the island like Ushuaia Beach Club, Space, Pacha, Destino, Booom or Privilege. All this, leaving behind important residences last years like Sankeys, Plan Be, El Ayoun in Ibiza or Club 7 Madrid. And in Tenerife being part of the most biggest events like Eolica Festival, Magma Meeting or Sunblast Festival playing almost at every edition and warming up the dancefloor for people like Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola or Luciano. His very first residence was with just 18 years old at the Club-Afterhours BB+ Tenerife, where he left a deep mark in the whole scene, after ten years (1999-2009) in front of the saturday night and sunday morning sessions. With an experience and a musical background that only years can give, his sets guarantee quality, class and know-how. The energy and charisma he transmits to the dancefloor in every set is reinforced by his style, always versatile and chameleonic, oscilating between raw deep house, tech funk or dub techno, with a high doses of breaks and filtered disco. Passionate and romantic about the good old analog sound, vinyl records and everything old school related, Luis holds the groove in a perfect balance between modern and classic, effective and sofisticated. Something that he want to show in a new project with his partner in crime Fran Cabello for this upcoming new year 2014 landing a new “only vinyl” record label. With future releases of Luis Groove as a new alias “Ferrero” and colaborations of artists like Alex Picone or Julian Perez. |

He is known for his humour, popular sermons, and for his outspoken stance against music, restrictions on polygamy, and injustice and oppression in the Muslim world. The peak of his fame was in the late 70ies / early 80ies when his friday sermons would be attended by crowds of 10000. He was a vocal critic of the Egyptian government. and was arrrested several times (1965 and 1981). He was boycotted by the official media under the Anwar Sadat regime (1970–1981), but cassette tapes of his sermons were widely distributed all over Egypt and the Arab world. He was released by Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in 1982 under the condition that he end his career as a public activist, but his cassette tapes continued to be widely available thereafter. |

Search | Add | 3 | Jason Lee Ward | Jason Lee Ward is a London-based DJ/Producer, born in Islington, North London. Jason spent his childhood surrounded by 70s Jazz Funk, Soul and Disco Music. His interest in music led to Jason spending the 90s scanning through London’s legendary pirate radio stations and inevitably discovering and becoming captivated by classic house and US garage. Along with music, Jason had a promising early career in professional football and came inches away from a full-time career. In spite of that, his passion for music flourished and he decided to refocus his prospects into carving a career in music. From 2009, Jason became a regular DJ on the London underground house scene and successfully built a solid reputation with party-goers and fellow DJs alike. However, in 2013 Jason decided to take a step back from life as a DJ to develop his understanding and skills as a music producer. Jason achieved his first professional qualification in 2015 after graduating from Islington Music Workshop with a Higher National Diploma in Music Technology. To date, Jason has released music on labels such as, Madhouse Records, i! Records, Salted Music, Purple Music and Solid Ground Recordings.

Whether punk or rap, with his former colleagues M. Aurich and A. These influences can be found at its current productions and guess deep down in the history of the producer. Since a few years, you can also listen live to the sound and enjoy the night. Search | Add | 3 | Ends. | The musical landscape of Los Angeles is as diverse as its people. It’s a constant clash of scenes and cultures and influences, overlapping and melting together to form new, unique formations. Brought up on ‘80s punk and hardcore, ‘90s rap, and the melodic soundscapes of shoegaze, ENDS. fuses these influences with the modern sounds of witch house, trip hop, and more to create their own unique style of hip hop/trap. Trae Malone and Chris Wolford have manifested their creativity through art and music, specifically in punk and hardcore. From booking their own shows to creating their artwork in-house to grinding out tours, the DIY ethos of punk and early hip hop has shaped their approach not only to music but also their everyday lives. Malone has spent much of his professional life in the PR and artist management side of music. Wolford is a graphic designer, artist and co-founder of Los Angeles-based art collective/brand, Dethkills. Together, the pair has taken the lessons of Rollins and Dre and challenged the expectations of what hip hop should sound like by injecting the dangerous and unexpected.
