Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 8 | Tony Dalardo | Antonio Lardera | Tony Dalardo (also known as Tony Dallara) was born on June 30 1936 and is an Italian singer, actor and television personality. He was born at Campobasso in southern Italy, but grew up in Milan. After working as barman and clerk, he began his musical career in the band Rocky Mountains (the future group I Campioni); his singing style was inspired, in particular, by American singers such as Frankie Laine and Tony Williams. In 1957, he signed a contract as singer with the Italian label Music, where he was working as delivery man. His first single "Come prima", although refused for admission to the Sanremo Festival, was published in December 1957 and sold 300,000 copies, becoming the biggest selling single in Italy up to that point. In 1960 Dallara won the Sanremo Music Festival and the Canzonissima competition with the song "Romantica"; the following year he won again Canzonissima with the song "Bambina bambina". |

This sparked his interest for creating the EP: "It's 3AM At Wawa Again" which released on YouTube and Soundcloud in early 2023. His latest release: "Themes For A Dying Mall" showcases a theme of nostalgia, with the theme of a local mall falling victim to time.

| Search | Add | 8 | Master Ibrahim | Master Ibrahim (1915-1980) | Master Ibrahim (1915-1980) started learning the clarinet at the age of 11. A prolific musician, Ibrahim (often also spelt as Ebrahim), seems to have been equally at home as a Hindustani classical musician (he recorded both for AIR and HMV) and as a film musician. Unlike many of his contemporaries in the film orchestras, his name was well-known amongst the general public because HMV also released many records of his instrumental versions of popular film songs. Searching on the Internet, I came across an extract from a dissertation paper by a New York-based clarinetist Shanti Raval titled 'The Adaptation of the Clarinet to Hindustani Music: The Playing Style of Master Ebrahim'. In her paper, Raval claims that Master Ebrahim 'remains to this day, the only Indian clarinetist to play on the Boehm system.' The Boehm clarinet, Raval explains, is used by 'the majority of Western classical musicians.... Master Ebrahim, however, was able to convey many of the inflections of Hindustani music on a Boehm clarinet.' Another admirer of Master Ibrahim was the young Ruskin Bond: "I was also fond of the clarinet (turj) playing of an Indian musician, Master Ibrahim, and I had some of his recordings which transported me back to the streets and bazaars of small-town India. Light, lilting and tuneful, I preferred this sort of flute music to the warblings of the more popular songsters." |

| Search | Add | 8 | Patricia Scot | Charlotte Anne Shealy | American vocalist, born 23 October 1931. At 17, she began singing with various groups in and around Milwaukee; she went on a country-wide tour with the Tommy Reed Band, a group out of Chicago. After the tour, she returned to Milwaukee, she sang in clubs around Wisconsin for a while, changing her name to Patricia Scot. She moved to Chicago, and one of her first breaks came when acclaimed tenor saxophonist [a262140] invited her to sing with his band in Toronto. Soon after this, Patricia signed her first recording contract with [l627117], and later with [l8511]. She also sang at a popular jazz club called the Steamliner, which was known for it's guest artists who included Bill Evans, on leave from the army on weekends, and Anita O'Day. Scot was approached by CBS Talent Director [a5306092] to join WBBM, where she sang on a morning radio show for several months. This led to her five-year stint with the hit TV show "In Town Tonight". TV Guide awarded Scot "Best Female Singer" for 1955. In 1957, she met and married Mike Nichols, moving to New York City. It was while in NY she met [a97480] which led to the recording of her album [m1033126]. Pat continued on the hotel and club circuit until 1970, when she put the music scene on the backburner after meeting and marrying, hotel manager Jim Dickerson. They were invited to a White House party hosted by President Nixon. Pat spent the next 20-years working in the Banking industry, and on her retirement fell into piano tuning when she was unable to get a tuner for her piano. Since then she has tuned pianos professionally, and following the death of her husband, in 1997, decided to get back into performing. In 1999 she met Trumpeter Jack Yorton and together they formed a quartet, "Prime Time", they married in 2000 and continued to play in the Central Florida region until 2008 including a brief stint with a local big band "The Golden Era", based in Sebring, FL. |

Internationally represented on labels in Germany, United States, Italy & Russia, their sound is as multifarious as spread over the world. Something that is obvious considering their strong believe in creating the right mood for every party is what counts most. Although 2020 made a halt to playing live, they bundled their energy with Jorginho Joao to create their label and musical outlet „Dance Petrol Records“ to give home to various styles of house music. Apart from forming their idea of house music on their own label, they are already looking forwarding to ending 2020 with a bang, their first vinyl release on Mango Sounds! While they already released on well known labels like Plastik People, Soulbrain Records as well as Igor Gonyas Sundries and Lisztomania Records, their so far most successfull belter was released on HDSNs NBAST. “Disco Dolly” climbed up to Traxsource top 6 deephouse charts and stayed in top10 for 3 weeks. |

Romark was a fascinating hypno-therapist and in 1971 he allegedly hypnotised an audience of smokers and 1000 of them gave up smoking. Among some of his more colourful encounters is the curse he reputedly placed on the Crystal Palace football team and an attempt to hypnotise Muhummad Ali into losing to Yorkshire boxer Richard Dunn in 1976. He is reputedly the first man to "die'" on stage by hanging for nearly four minutes before bringing himself to life again. He holds five records in the Guiness Book of Records for the longest-running one-man show. Romark is also infamous for attempting to prove his psychic powers by driving a car blindfolded which resulted in a collision with a police car. He was also an actor, appearing in Mannix (1967), Flip (1970) and The Merv Griffin Show (1962). Romark died of a stroke in December 1982 in Torbay, Devon, England, not long after being released from prison where he served a 4 and a half month stretch for embezzling cash from his mother while she was ill in hospital. |

Soon after, Will joined forces with producer/songwriter & multi-instrumentalist, Steven Martinez to record and produce them using techniques he acquired through past recordings he did with Will & drummer Daniel Jurado's previous band, Fine Minds, as well as Steven's recording project, The Ambient Light (who Jurado also drummed for). | Search | Add | 8 | Вера Духовская | Вера Иосифовна Духовская | Vera Dukhovskaya (1903—1982) is a Russian chamber singer, lyric-coloratura soprano. In 1923, Vera Dukhovskaya graduated from the Moscow Philharmonic School (later transformed into GITIS = [l605813]) in vocal class and then arrived in Petrograd, where, on the advice of Anatoly Lunacharsky = [a2719818], she began performing in an ensemble with pianist Mikhail Bikhter. From November 1924 to January 1931, in the Small Philharmonic Hall (it was then located in the current Beethoven Foyer of the [l731129]), musicians gave seven concerts with perfectly arranged programs: these were Russian romances - from [url=https://www.discogs.com/ru/artist/835128-Mikhail-Ivanovich-Glinka]Glinka[/url] to [url=https://www.discogs.com/ru/artist/115469-Igor-Stravinsky]Stravinsky[/url], "The Musical Creativity of a Russian Woman", where the vocal lyrics by Elizaveta Kochubey = [a2717156], Anna Esipova = [a4043009], Lyubov Strikher = [a16123287], Valentina Ramm, Yulia Veisberg, "The Origins of the French Romance" - from the 13th century to the songs of the French Revolution, were performed. In 1936, Vera Dukhovskaya returned to Moscow, became a soloist of the All-Union Touring and Concert Association, but did not lose contact with the Leningrad Philharmonic. In the winter of 1937, from the Philharmonic Concert Bureau, she gives two solo concerts in the Chapel, accompanied by the Moscow pianist Vladimir Donato = [a13900306] (real name Natan Shulman = [a4048018], 1906-1983), who received his pseudonym under funny circumstances from Sergei Yesenin = [a812245] himself. But Vera Dukhovskaya gives her first and only solo concert in the Great Hall in March 1938, accompanied by Sofia Davydova = [a7454475]. Her performance with the Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by [a833033] will also be single: on November 12, 1938, she will perform Alexandrov's "Children's Songs". Dukhovskaya will appear on the stage of the Great Hall several more times in combined, more often daytime, concerts for the target audience with the Soviet repertoire. The performer of the piano part is not listed in these programs. But, most likely, it was Sofya Davydova: in February 1941, Vera Dukhovskaya will take part in the anniversary program dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the pianist's artistic activity, to her accompaniment in October 1939 she will give a solo concert from Tchaikovsky's romances in the Glazunov Conservatory Hall ( at that time it was one of the chamber venues of the Philharmonic), on April 27, 1943, they will perform together in Novosibirsk, where the Philharmonic was evacuated during the war. In the same place, in February 1943, Dukhovskaya's solo concert with pianist Pavel Valdgardt = [a5027805] will take place. After the war, Vera Dukhovskaya did not come to Leningrad with concerts. In 1948, she left her concert career and until 1957 taught at the Musical College. |

The members of the band originated from the West Indies hence their acquaintanceship with the typical Surinamese and Caribbean (melodic) instruments: the steelpans on which traditional songs and party music was played. Originally they exclusively used these traditional steel drums along with percussion instruments. The band stayed active till the end of the Seventies.

| Search | Add | 8 | Jesse Waldman | Jesse Waldman | One of Jesse Waldman’s most cherished possessions is a cassette of his grandmother singing the Yiddish folk song Papirosen to his mother. A remnant, like the abandoned guitar discovered in his parent’s basement, that drove his rock ‘n roll dreams out of the suburban sprawl of Thornhill, Ontario, and into the bars of downtown Toronto. A journey cross-country led him to mountains, ocean, and into the arms of Vancouver's Commercial Drive music scene. Now his home of over twenty years, the West Coast continues to inspire his lush imagery, sublime melodies, and outstanding technique. Influenced by folk and blues pioneers Townes Van Zandt, Taj Mahal, and Neil Young, Jesse has toured Canada, Western US, and the UK, performing everywhere from local pubs to soft-seat theaters, appearing at major festivals including Vancouver's Folk and International Jazz Fests. Mansion Full of Ghosts is Jesse's highly anticipated solo debut, an exploration of the city's vast duality, a backdrop of beauty mirrored by a fierce underbelly, and a need to keep a light on in the dark. |

| Search | Add | 8 | A Good Rogering | Alternative heavy rock band from Austin, Texas, fronted by Skunk Manhattan. A Good Rogering fuses the heavy-hitting rock of bands like Megadeth, Black Label Society, and Mastodon with the dynamic prowess and eclecticism of those such as Faith No More, Type O Negative, and Clutch. With the release of their debut album Long Overdue in 2010, AGR unloaded a hard, heavy, and uninhibited brand of eclectic rock into the back alleys of the Live Music Capital of the World. Led by vocalist/guitarist Skunk Manhattan, the quartet-turned-trio released their follow-up album Lifeblood in 2013. With the departure of founding member and bassist Aric “Chef” Wright in 2015, the band took a brief hiatus until reforming as a quintet in 2016 and subsequently released This Is Death Metal in 2017. The acoustic-driven introspective “Out of Reach” was released in 2018 followed by the funk-inspired “Mr. Peanut” in 2019. Their latest studio album Systematic Paralysis was released on April 22, 2022. | Search | Add | 8 | Joy Peck | Adapted from the Age's obituary: Joy Peck (9 Oct 1928 - 3 Feb 2008) was one of Australia's more notable naive painters. The daughter of a craftsman, she was born in Ballarat but grew up with her sisters Val and Bernice in Warrnambool. As a child she suffered from allergies, which kept her away from school: this left her with a sense of the fragility of life, but also with a great love of it. She sang in public, danced, and later gave memorable parties. But her great love soon became painting. Peck was trained by Sir William Dargie at the National Gallery School, and her canvases soon abounded in strong colours, mists, and children and child-like faces. The critic Phillip Adams once observed: "Joy appears to live in a world without war, aggression or cruelty, where affection would be as luxuriant as foliage, where the very light would be infused with love." If earlier in life her painting had been partly in denial, as she aged it was more in a spirit of rebuttal. Peck was concerned about the injustices of the world — perhaps more so after visiting the ruins of a village in France that the Nazis had vengefully destroyed, killing everybody in it. Sometimes the darker element crept into her painting: there is a swirling, elemental terror evident in her Loch Ard series, in which she painted the famous shipwreck. And for someone so much at home in the fantastic, her portraits could be surprisingly gritty. Peck exhibited from 1960 until 1997 in Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane as well as in a number of Melbourne galleries, including Realities, Manyung, and the South Yarra and Eltham galleries. Significantly, she was asked to submit work for the 1978 Biennale in Limoges. This French city, where she lived for some months, is the world centre for enamelling, a craft much more developed in the francophone world than elsewhere. Later she exhibited at another enamellists' biennale in Quebec. Lively and colourful, Peck is associated with two bohemian moments — Eltham in the 1950s and '60s, and Fitzroy from the 1970s to the '90s. In Eltham, she and her husband, Hal, were part of a circle that included Tim and Betty Burstall, Clifton Pugh and other artists. Barry Humphries had a walk-on part. Down the hill lived John and Inga Clendinnen. Many people found their way to the Pecks' ample, mud-brick house; among them was a young schoolboy, Phillip Adams. Peck was an early encourager, and he remained a lifelong friend. For the last 25 years of her life, Peck set up her easel on a cast-iron balcony overlooking Moor Street, Fitzroy. In her long dresses, picture hat and flashes of purple and green, she was often seen on the arm of her son Marcus, going out for coffee. She died of died from cancer at St Vincent's Hospital at the age of 79. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | Lloyd Francis | Saxon Sound System was started in 1976 in Lewisham, South East london by Dennis Rowe, Lloyd Saxon aka Muscle Head. Originally called Imperial Rockers they changed the name to Saxon in 1978. By the early 80's due in no small part to their highly talented MC's and singers such as Tippa Irie, Smiley Culture, Peter King, Papa Levi, Maxi Priest, Daddy Colonel and Sandy they were the most popular Sound System in the UK. The selectors on the sound were Muscle Head, Trevor Sax, Mini Muscle, Henry Prento and Micky Boops. In 1984 the soundsystem started the UK Bubblers label in co-operation with Greensleeves and released over 30 12" singles and two albums over the next four years. In 1993 they formed their own Saxon label and released over 70 12" singles. With the decline in the popularity of live MC's on a sound in the early 90's Saxon stepped back from the limelight and to a certain extent have struggled to maintain their position in the top echelon of Sound Systems since this time. However they continue to operate and have a regular spot at the Notting Hill Carnival each August. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | Les Bof! | After years as a musical enemy number one of the town council of Marseilles, Laurent Mombel estimated that his talents were ignored and wrongfully punished. In exile in the United Kingdom, Laurent, put himself about to find the musicians of Garage that were most endowed within their neighbourhoods - unfortunately they all were occupied and thus decided to make do with a few old tearaways met in the wild regions of Scotland - Thus Les BOF! were formed and after that, a series of concerts left them in the not very enviable situation of premier garage rockers of French language in Great Britain. ‘BOF!’ literally translates as ..don’t care!' or ..not interested!' but do not see there a group for which one would not have to be interested, but rather a group universally rejected by the established order - a situation, we are sure, you all know too well and with which you can only sympathize. Les BOF! play regularly not only in the dull cellars and dusty cafes of Edinburgh and its neighbourhoods but also abroad - try to see them whether they come in your city - or better, invite them to play in your own living room - it will not cost you the eyes teeth – Vive Les BOF! Laurent Mombel- vox Angus McPake- guitar Colin Morris - bass Ross Fairbairn - drums | |

The name of the band means in ancient shipibo language someone who is connected with his/her heart and to the heart of the universe, and from that connection s/he is transmitting. With its songs it transmits movement and allows us to travel to inner worlds. That which is transmitting reaches people and transforms them. This concept carries great responsibility and is our highest aspiration. That is why this project is based on ancestral knowledge of Peru as a source of knowledge that connects us with the origin. And that origin is symbol of integration. |

The reason for this was an escalated argument with his girlfriend at the time, because she cheated on him during his concert in Rijeka . Minno became violent during the argument and inflicted several stab wounds on her. After taking her to a local clinic in Tuzla , he turned himself in to the police in Munich , despite the fact that there was no charge or warrant for his arrest. The song Ne troši suze na mene , which turned out to be one of his most successful songs along with Na dan il' dva , was recorded again in 2000 by his producer Halid Muslimović.To date, Minno's version, despite its originality, has almost fallen into oblivion, and the interpretation, by the more popular Halid Muslimovic, has become much more widespread and popular. The album Ti si me izdala was released by its producer Halid Muslimovic in 2000 while Minno was in prison. The album was recorded and completed before his arrest. |

| Search | Add | 8 | The Phantom Broadcast | Phantom aims to create music that pushes the boundaries of Indie and Post Rock with the influence of Folk, Jazz, Classical, and even Metal tendencies. The results yield dynamic instrumentation where creativity and emotion are paramount in the composition of each song. Aiming to construct an architectural sonic space, the five collaborate on storytelling and presentation. Having released 3 full lengths and 2 eps, the band has grown, mutated, amputated, and grown some more with each recording. After almost 2 years of writing and recording, The Phantom Broadcast released Antiquities 11/1/19. The record’s themes explored on the double EP, now a full length, deal with the challenges of maintaining good mental health, the anxiety coupled with living and thriving in a large city like Chicago, and hardships of the mundane. Thanks to an incredible amount of support via Kickstarter, the record was pressed to vinyl and is available in all online streaming platforms, at shows, and in record stores throughout Chicago. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | m.michele | Meghan Adams | m.michele grew up in lithonia, ga with a voracious appetite for literature and an oversized imagination, but didn't start writing until she turned ten years old. m.michele began experimenting with short stories and novels, many of which will never be published, but it wasn't until she was introduced to the poetry of nikki giovanni did she find her calling. from that moment on, she was never too far from a notebook and a pen. blessed with the gift of imagery and courageous honesty, she honed her craft over the years but kept her pieces mostly to herself. she performed at an occasional open mic night, but never aspired to publish or produce her poetry until she discovered artists like floetry, j.ivy, and shihan and began to realize that she was not the only one who lived for spoken word. through a series of fortunate events, she linked up with STACE at fly company music group and began recording her poetry for the first time in 2010. her work can now be found on itunes and she takes pride and pleasure in speaking at scheduled performances and open mic nights. m.michele has a story to tell. it is comprised of a myriad of emotions and revelations, of mistakes and lessons, of tragedy and joy. her story is how her soul sings. to tell it is how she breathes. |

Frontman-Shaman of the same Young Gods, Franz Treichler produces and mixes the duo's debut album. If a balearic sun rose in deep space, Sunisit would certainly be the soundtrack. In the early Eighties, Cesare invented techno-rock sampling with the Young Gods, where he played the funkier side of the dark splendor of the band. At the dawn of the Nineties, POL emerges from the swiss scene of electronic body music, dancing accompanied by pounding post-industrial apocalyptic visions.
