Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 8 | George Peter Kinyonga | Tanzanian song-writer, singer and guitarist. Most famous as co-founder of [a1379606] with his brother [a2706972]. Born in Tanga, Tanzania in 1950 ( the exact date is unknown but George usually stated February 22nd). He and his brother joined [a1969311] in Tanga in 1966. In 1970/1971 the brothers moved to Arusha, Tanzania, and formed [a4223221] (with their brother [a6986145] and others). Late in 1971 the band relocated to Kenya and changed their name to [a1379606]. He stayed with the group when most of the members left to form [a3599429] but then in 1980, disagreements with his brother led to George leaving and starting his own band [a2672920] (named after a 1970s dance rhythm). The split proved short-lived and George rejoined [a1379606] within a year. George did, however, keep the "Orchestre Jobiso" name to record his own songs outside of the main group. He died of tuberculosis on December 24th 1992 in Nairobi, Kenya, aged 42. | |

Influenced by iconic acts like Depeche Mode, Radiohead, The Hives, and Viagra Boys, WETLOOK crafted its unique Space Indie-Rock sound. Heavy, dirty guitar riffs merge with classical instruments, creating an atmospheric experience that’s equal parts dystopian and energetic. Their work is also shaped by retro-futuristic architecture and the proximity to former communist countries, reflecting a world both familiar and otherworldly. WETLOOK's mission is to inspire others to forge their own path, setting something free with each track they write. The Frame is their first Mars Alliance release, first single of the Mannequin Dance EP, coming up in 2025

| Search | Add | 8 | Cavan Grogan | Cavan John Grogan | Cavan Grogan (February 18, 1949 – February 15, 2020) was a UK rockabilly singer. Crazy Cavan and the Rhythm Rockers (also known as Cavan & The Rhythm Rockers, Crazy Cavan "N" The Rhythm Rockers, Crazy Cavan & The Rhythm Rockers) are a Teddy Boy band from South Wales. The band formed in 1970, and has still been actively touring and recording. The band appeared in the 1980 film Blue Suede Shoes which detailed the revival of 1950s rock 'n' roll music scene at the time. The first incarnation of the band was formed in 1964 by Cavan Grogan (vocals), Lyndon Needs (lead guitar) and Terry Walley (rhythm guitar) under the name "Count Dracula and the Vampires". In 1968, joined by Brian Thomas (piano) and Don Kinsella (bass), they took the name "The Sundogs" which they borrowed from Alan Freed who was known as "Moondog" and combined it with their taste for Sun Records, a label which they used to buy at that time. Then in 1970, with the addition of Mike Coffey (drums), they took the name "Crazy Cavan 'n' the Rhythm Rockers", a name which has endured. In 1973, the band formed its own record label, Crazy Rhythm Records (named after their own description of their music) and released their debut single, "Teddy Boy Boogie" (backed with "Bop Little Baby"). In 1975 they released their first album Crazy Rhythm on the Dutch Rockhouse label. In 1976, they signed with Charly Records in the UK, and released their second album, Rockability. |

| Search | Add | 8 | Sublimatus | Ontario, Canada based experimental rock trio which was formed in the late 80s. Sublimatus has been a transformational concept used by Zena Hagerty and Walter G. Peter as a creative principle for over 20 years. On its own, as a concept in the collective unconscious Sublimatus crosses the bounds of the physical, psychological and spiritual worlds. In the physical world, the term from chemistry to sublimate: “is to change a solid to a gas and back to a solid.” When used in psychology it denotes the act of using base instincts and energy in a productive/inspirational manner. For example a young bully takes up playing the guitar. Two of the most obvious usages of Sublimatus in the English language are the words subliminal and sublime. To sublimate is used in Alchemy, “an ancient form of mysticism”, as part of a process, which is intended to cause “individuation.” The process works on the premise that the individual is incomplete, but can become complete through a series of conscious mystical acts. With this in mind Zena, Walter have used Sublimatus as a watch word behind a multi-media arts center, a free form sound unit, posters and billboards, multi-media art installations, a sponsor of a bicycle team, a countless number of HAPPENINGS in the tradition of “Dada and being in the moment”. Sublimatus has run on the intent to cause the audience and artist to question ones motives/actions. | |

[b]Appearance history:[/b] Formally, the Choral School was founded in 1944 (at first it was called the Music and Choral School, since 1945 - the Choir School, since 1954 - named after M. I. Glinka). However, since it was originally part of the State Academic Singing Choir of St. Petersburg, it has long roots. The choir comes from the Choir of Sovereign Singers, founded in the 15th century in Moscow and transferred in 1703 to St. Petersburg (the choir received the name "Capella" at the end of the 18th century). At some point in the composition of the choir, originally male, there were juvenile singers - boys. Since 1955 the School and its boys' choir have been an independent organization. | Search | Add | 8 | Eugene "Luigi" Louis | Eugene Louis Faccuito | American jazz dancer, choreographer, teacher, and innovator who created the jazz exercise technique (March 20, 1925 – April 7, 2015). The Luigi Warm Up Technique is a training program that promotes body alignment, balance, core strength, and "feeling from the inside". It is also used for rehabilitation. This method became the world's first standard technique for teaching jazz and musical theater dance. Faccuito developed the technique, which consists of a series of ballet-based exercises, for his rehabilitation after suffering paralyzing injuries in a car accident at the age of 21. He couldn't stop dancing, so he first learned to regain control of his body by what he uses as a cornerstone of his technique – namely, to "lengthen and stretch the body without strain" and "put the good side into the bad side". He then focused on a way "to stabilize himself – as if he were pressing down on an invisible (dance) barre". He went on to have a successful dance career and became a world-renowned jazz teacher. |

W 2016 roku zadebiutowali krążkiem „Discobolus”, a w marcu ubiegłego roku wyruszyli w trasę, by promować drugą płytę - „Orell”. Latem zespół zagrał na największych polskich festiwalach, m.in. Open'erFestival, Audioriver, Kraków Live Festival, OFF Festival.

| Search | Add | 8 | Dave Zupkovich | Dave Zupkovich | Popular American tamburitza player and band leader (b. January 5, 1920 Campbell, Ohio, USA - d. August 6, 1963) Dave studied violin at the early age of seven and soon after learned to play the banjo, guitar, and his trademark, the bugarija. At age 17 he joined the popular Yugoslav Serenaders of Cleveland, Ohio and did radio work with them on station WTAM in Cleveland. Always the organizer, Dave went to Detroit and formed a group which toured the eastern part of this country. Along came World War II, and Dave gave up his musical career to serve 39 months with the 13th and 82nd Airborne Divisions in the European theater of operations. His love for music compelled him to continue his music after the war, and he became a widely-known recording artist with Balkan Records, Continental, and RCA Victor. The big hits for Dave were Leti Leti, Charm of Your Beautiful Dark Eyes, Whistler's Polka, and many others. After a successful six-month nationwide tour and many other tours in the Midwest, Dave became recognized as the 'King of Tamburitza'. With the increased popularity of television, he got on the bandwagon and shortly became a known TV personality on many international programs. Fans from all over the country enjoyed seeing and hearing the singing and playing of the memorable Dave Zupkovich. During his musical years, Dave was fortunate to have the support of the best musicians and friends one could have, including Steve Pavlekovich, Tony and Steve Burich, Mirko Kolesar, Martin Kapugi, Johnny Krilcich, Tony and Lou Markulin, Joe Matasic, George Skrbina, Pete Radakovich, Joe Marmilich, and Julius Peskan. A tribute to a great artist whose name and music will live on and on, in a legendary sense. |

That band was later renamed as Orquesta Crazy Boys (Crazy Boys Orchestra), and in the early 30s, they started recording for the spanish branch of Odeón. After the spanish Civil War (1936 - 1939), Martín dropped his first surname "Lizcano" to avoid being connected to his brother Fernando Lizcano de la Rosa (captain of the catalonian squadrons ie. Mossos d'esquadra during Franco's military uprising and shot by the Catalonian government after joining the Falangist side), and recorded again for the Spanish branch of Odeón during the 40s as leader of his own band (then known as Martín De La Rosa's Orchestra) that featured Antonio Vidal Ricart as vocalist & guitarist among other sidemen.

Edmundo Delgado (guitar and voice), Andrés Da Ros (guitar and voice), Simón Ames (guitar) and Jorge Vásquez (drums). In 1970, were influenced by their favourite groups and they began to compose their own songs. in 1973 they believed the moment arrived to record a disc. The chosen label was Mag, because there worked as a sound engineer a friend of theirs: Saúl Cornejo (Laghonia, We All Together, etc.). Possibly seeing the great quality of the material brought by Grupo Amigos, Saúl decided to contribute with his contribution on keyboards and added his brother Manuel Cornejo on drums. |
