Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Electric Forgiveness | While recording keyboard tracks for the band Third of Never, The Who keyboardist John “Rabbit” Bundrick began a collaboration with Third of Never guitarist Jon Dawson. Jeremy Morris of Pilgrim’s Journey and Celestial City fame adds some guitar. The resulting material is nothing like Third of Never or The Who. What it is like is Porcupine Tree’s Voyage 34, flowing spacey instrumental tracks where progressive rock meets electronica, with similar found vocals from an old record about LSD or something. Call it Voyage 34A, another great trip. The song titles provide clues to their inspirations. Sara Bell: vocals John "Rabbit" Bundrick: keyboards, vocals Jon Dawson: Korg synthesizer, guitar, low drums/bass Michael Kelly: bass Steve Potak: keyboards, mellotron Kurt Reil: drums

Search | Add | 3 | Silence Betrayed | Silence Betrayed was a dynamic independent rock band from southern California. Known for their heavy riffs and explosive stage presence, the foursome intermittently toured the southwestern US from 2007-2012 booking gigs with groups like Nonpoint, Soil, Kitty, 36 Crazyfists, and Straight Line Stitch. After nearly six years of writing, recording, and touring, Silence Betrayed had reached maturity. With noticeable influences ranging from Alice in Chains to Drowning Pool, their sound had been described as brutal, melodic, and memorable - all qualities that the band proudly endorsed. The music, look, and live show emitting from this band rivaled that of the era's most popular hard rock acts. Their songs were memorable, stage presence superior, and performances unforgettable.

Search | Add | 3 | Airhead DC | Vishal Narang | Vishal Narang has pursued music through his entire young adulthood, but his first proper band came about after moving to New York to study art history at NYU. Through a mutual friend, Narang met Greta Kline (of Frankie Cosmos) and the two quickly decided to start playing music together after noticing their similar sense of humor and mutual enthusiasm about each other’s songwriting. After deciding on the name Milk Ghost, Narang and Kline began practicing regularly, creating Beat Happening inspired arrangements to Narang’s anecdotal songs about friends. Building on that experience, Narang started Nirvanus, a solo electronic project inspired by the many noise and house records he found through the Greenwich Village record store, Other Music, like Black Dice and Smallville Records releases. Through Nirvanus, Narang introduced himself to new equipment and recording techniques, incorporating samples, live instruments, and heavy use of effects together for the first time. After graduating college Narang decided to move across the country to Los Angeles, where Nirvanus eventually caught the attention of the budding indie label, Danger Collective Records, before returning to the East Coast and reinventing himself once again as Airhead DC. |

Search | Add | 3 | Quarter Mile Combo | The first full-length cd of Californian rock’n’roll band ¼ Mile Combo was released last year. The guys started the band in 2004, but the lineup (as it is now) became complete two years later, when Nettie Hammar, the lead singer, joined the band. So three years of proper work and here they are: 12 self-penned tracks, played, arranged and recorded in very good quality. Responsible for writing songs are drummer Gary Daly and bass player Todd Jenkins. The lyrics maybe a little bit too serious for “silly” rockabilly. Musically everything is in a good balance. Not too loud, not too noisy, though nothing extraordinary either. Good backing vocals, brilliant addition to strong main female vocal. I wish that Quarter Mile Combo had at least one duet song! The style… Well, American, I guess. Blend of rock’n’roll (most of it), country (slightly) and solid rockin’ sound (psychobilly influence?). In one word - that's what lots of Americans calls “rockabilly” nowadays. “Motels, Gas and Beer”. I like when bands not just pick up the name of the song, but make their own “interpritation” of their creation… it gives extra excitement to find out “why exactly this name?”. In this case I think the band united in it not only list of the songs, but also added their name to it. Travelling, energy, drinking – in other words, rock’n’roll on the road. And, in fact, it does really sound like that! In addition (or better say, conclusion) I want to say that while I was listening to this cd, I had all the time funny feeling. Sometimes I thought “oh, it sounds good, but so boring”. And sometimes, it came like that “wow! Amazing job, I wish we could have more cd’s like that!”. So it would be very interesting to hear your opinion too! Submitted by: kitti. Publication date - 13 January 2010 Copyrights: Rockabilly Bash

Search | Add | 3 | Persian Gulf | 80's agitprop rock band from Philadelphia. The three-piece group was aggressive, political, smart and danceable. In the early '80s, you could stumble into a basement party in your finer Tallahassee student ghetto and find Persian Gulf set up in the corner by the bar. Persian Gulf packed up and headed off to Philadelphia just in time to watch the police burn down a city block in an attempt to eradicate a radical group called MOVE. Persian Gulf kept moving and eventually ended up in New York City. Persian Gulf always got raves from critics. The Village Voice and Robert Christgau spilled much ink in its praises of the band's albums ("Persian Gulf: The Movie" and "Changing the Weather") "Conscious rather than correct, without a hint of hard-cores parracidal/mysogynistic hysteria, this eight-song EP [Changing the Weather] is constricted and expansive, sour and ebullient all at once. Hal Shows understands his own anarchic/apocalyptic impulses, and his Lennonesque rhythm guitar provides the extra momentum he needs to stay on top of things." --Robert Christgau, Village Voice, 1984.

Search | Add | 3 | Arcane Saints | Arcane Saints | "Arcane Saints are one of the most exciting new rock bands to come out of Australia since Silverchair, Electric Mary, Midnight Oil, and INXS. Their latest EP, “In the Shade of The Juniper” continues the Aussie legacy of musically diverse, hard hitting rock and roll." - Brian McKinny, Senior Editor at Music Insider Magazine (USA) Arcane Saints is an Australian hard rock band formed by singer/guitarist Michael John. Born in the United Kingdom, Michael grew up in New Zealand before moving to Melbourne, Australia in search of a bigger rock music scene. After some line up changes Michael “Sheep” Gooding, who had recently relocated to Melbourne from the outback town of Darwin, joined the band as lead guitarist. Den Murray was then recruited on drums. Like Michael and Sheep, Den had also only recently moved to Melbourne, having moved from Sydney. Bassist Rory Wale, who is the only local Melbourne member, then completed the line up. Arcane Saints set out on a relentless touring schedule of Australia, Canada, China and New Zealand, releasing a single which gained the attention of Grammy Award winning producer Toby Wright (Metallica, Alice in Chains, Kiss, Korn.) Toby invited them to his home town of Nashville, USA to record their debut album Turning the Tide. Toby was a close friend of Layne Staley, late singer of Alice in Chains and delighted Michael by allowing him to use the custom made microphone Layne had used for the chart topping Alice in Chains EP “Jar of Flies.” Peter Keys, pianist from the legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd, made a guest appearance on the album. The momentum continued with Arcane Saints receiving rave reviews for their performance at Australia’s prestigious Big Day Out Festival, headlined by Pearl Jam. Following a highly successful USA radio campaign, they were invited to join multi platinum selling rockers Trapt for a five week USA tour. The tour, which included a spot at Gig It Festival, headlined by Sevendust, was a massive success resulting in thousands of new fans for Arcane Saints. Whilst touring Arcane Saints noticed the audiences really connected with their new songs and decided to hit the studio again. With highly regarded Aussie producer Scott Horscroft (Silverchair, Birds of Tokyo) at the helm, they recorded a new EP entitled "In the Shade of the Juniper". "In the Shade of the Juniper" boasts some of the heaviest songs the band has recorded as well as some more pop rock tracks. Arcane Saints consider it to be their best work to date. Search | Add | 3 | Speekrcreep | Royce Grayer | SPEEKRCREEP (Producer/DJ) Location: Windsor,CA/Detroit,MI Born in Windsor, Ontario Canada Oct.7,1987.Real name Royce Grayer and was raised in both places techno music originated from (Detroit,Michigan & Windsor,Ontario). These cities share a border between each other, which exposed him to the early pioneers of the electronic music scene at a real young age ,so he is no stranger to the electronic music scene or DJ world .After visiting many raves and holding his very own breakdancing battles with friends at many different location across windsor, and one that was hugely known as the UnderGround and many other random locations in the late 90's and early 2000's. Since then he has been partly active in the scene until about 2006 Royce aka Speekrcreep started producing his very own original music and actively dj-jing through out the city of windsor and during that time ,he has gain a lot of experience in producing and releasing many original tracks,Remix's & Dj sets under many different alter-ego's,experimenting with every style from Break Beats,hip-hop,Dubstep,Drumstep,DnB to Electro House and yes, even Break-Core which many aurn't to famiiar with. 2006 to 2013 Royce was introduced to the online world and since then he's managed to gain a lot of respect worldwide & support in his local club scene, helping organize many free events & club nights with the main goal of supporting his local scene ,to playing live shows at art galleries, fundraiser, nightclubs,University radio, etc or just to have a good time, with the joy of letting people hear his unique style of music he has produced over the years. He was also a dj for Windsor cities biggest audio, visual procution & event Lighting design companie ( www.marzmedia.ca ) playing events attended by the cities mayor and many other high ranking executives from around the world. Also playing a fundraiser event for Hospice, which is a foundation to help sick children and families in need and with all that,he was still able to juggle an on going dj residency at one of Windsor Cities finest Restaurant & Lounge's ( Panache Ultra Lounge ) He has also dj-ed many events hosted by Windsor Eats ( www.windsoreats.com ) Royce aka Speekrcreep also was a promoter for Windsor cities only world class nightclub for almost a year ( www.boomboomroom.ca ),later on feeling he needed more then just his local scene to do the trick and get his name out there,He decided to start booking shows across the bridge to neighbouring city Detroit.MI and other parts of Michigan&Ohio were the electronic music scene is thriving & well. With the help of communication he was able to get shows with one Detroit's biggest dubstep/EDM music promoters under one of his alter-ego's named Dstruct.O ( dstructo.blogspot.ca ) making friends with a lot of Detroit's most respected promoters and djs in the game, whom he continues to connect with to this day. All that and he doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. In 2008 Royce started pushing his own electronic music label "Subbbace Records"(www.subbbacerecords.com) under the name Dstruct.O due to the fact other label's never seemed interested in his work,so he decided to start his own to push releases produced by him and other artists alike, with the main goal of building a successful and respected music label & to help other artists who are in it for the love of making music and not the money.. Royce has opened shows for many respected Producers & Dj’s in the game,to name a few like J.Rabbit,TerraBad,OriginalSin,Osborne,MattClarke,MikeHuckaby,Kero,AnnieHall,D-Sisive,Etc.Most DJ’s choose to play on laptops & midi controllers these days, but Royce aka Speekrcreep prefers sticking with the traditional cd's and pioneer cdjs + mix, Due to its standard use in every nightclub and he's just that good on them, always creating new , unique and seamless mixes only djs with great ears, years of experience and knowledge could achieve.Their is no auto beat matching and pre mixes in his sets. Look out for the name because he's been gaining more and more support everyday . 2014 and Beyond Royce aka Speekrcreep has currently started looking towards the future and totally switched directions, due to the ongoing saturation and watering down of the electronic music scene,he has decided to start a whole new label named Trebaltek Records which is a new up and coming underground electronic dance music label run by a small team of professional producer / dj's from the Windsor,Ontario & Detroit,Michigan area.Specialize in music releases on vinyl / digital and other various formats. Search | Add | 3 | Zangers Van Sint Frans, Venray | Zangers van St. Frans | It was in 1959 that an originally Hague teacher (Mr. Wim Buys) was approached by a also Hague priest. The priest had recently come to Venray (NL) and soon discovered that the Paterskerk had no choir. Wim Buys was asked to settle in Venray to set up a boys' choir. He did not hesitate for a moment; the Singers of St. Frans, named after the Venrayse Franciscan Fathers, was born. The Paterskerk would become their home base. In the past sixties, the choir has seen many highlights: concert tours through Europe (including Rome, Krakow, Berlin, Moscow and Barcelona) and the U.S. The choir joined the international federation Pueri Cantores, where mr. Wim Buys has been international president for quite some time. From a boys 'choir that celebrated Mass in the Paterskerk, the choir grew into a successful men's and boys' choir (for some years even a mixed choir) that received concert invitations from inside and outside Europe. Moreover, the choir has been the start of a musical career and / or study at the conservatory for a number of singers. At the moment the choir consists of about 40 members, varying in age from 7 to 38 years. Unfortunately, Wim Buys will no longer be celebrating the 60th anniversary. After his death, co-conductor Vincent Las from Oss took over the baton and the gavel was handed over to Jos Valks. At present (2020) the choir consists of about 30 members, ranging in age from 8 to 44 years old. The musical direction is in the hands of conductor Geert Verhallen. All members also receive vocal training every Tuesday from vocal teacher Janine Heuts. |

Search | Add | 3 | Totalitarian Musical Sect | The most interesting project of a new wave of modern St. Petersburg's musical scene. Describing the style of this collective's music is extremely complex. Musicians call it «a new Russian primitivism ». Music includes the features of rock, jazz and improvising music. The most influential names are German krautrock band CAN, ART ENSEMBLE OF CHICAGO and SUN RA. The group is a derivate from « Z ensemble », in which many Petersburg's musicians have played. Despite of a rather long history their first official release was only in 2002 by the company "HOR records". TMS is the constant participant of festivals of avant-garde art. The leader of the TMS, Dmitriy Kahovskiy, has played with all considerable musicians in St. Petersburg. At the festival SKIF-6 he performed in a duet with the legendary American guitar player Eugene Chadbourne, on SKIF-7 he played with unique Dutch drummer Han Bennink. Music by Kahovskiy and TMS will be used in some cinematographic projects («It is difficult to be God», А.German). Musicians of TMS also played in many other projects: Vitaliy Kucherov in Union of Commercial Avantgarde & Nado Podumat'; Alexey Stavizkiy in solo-project "Musicproduct"; Ilia Belorukov in DaDaZu & Miro; Maxim Pozin in DaDaZu & Bimka.
