Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | De Confidence | Anthony McCarthy. | AKA Anthony & De Confidence. De Confidence is an art collective founded p by West Cork artist Anthony McCarthy ca 1987. Membership of the collective has over the years included: Dan Hallissey (AKA Crafty Dan) (keyboards), Giordai Ua Laoghaire (ex Nun Attax, Microdisney, Soon, etc) (guitar), Liam Murphy (Black Velvet Band) (guitars, keyboards), Barry Nolan (AKA Son of Lir) (keyboards), Liam Shanahan (keyboards), Arty Lorrigan (drums, percussion), and female singers Tara Woolridge, Lara Ewusoho and Neasa de Bearoid (Hidden Fears). Anthony lists the Virgin Prunes, Ivor Cutler and Yello among his influences. His vocals are like spoken word performances. An earlier project named Anthony & The Alcoholics was abandoned after the "Music For Suffering Ducks" project (circa 1984) and the Kuckoo single (1985). De Confidence rarely played outside Cork. The live show reputedly includes music, mime, spoken word, projected images, light effects, etc, i.e. a multi-media approach. There are also several videos. In 1988 they did a 3 city tour under the name Anthony & De Confidence which included Triskel Arts Center, Cork, the Irish Film Institute in Dublin and Covent Garden Community Centre in London. This tour was organised and promoted in the hope of stirring record company interest in the band but nothing concrete came of it apart from one unsatisfactory offer. Another notable performance was at the Pacific Circle Music Convention in Sydney, Australia in 1997. Anthony is still active and has released quite a body of work over 20+ years on his own Kings Union imprint, and two self-published books (Maymount Books), but with zero distribution to speak of these items are very difficult to get hold of. More details can be found on his myspace page -- see external links below. Anthony's books to date are "Driving My Car" (2001) and "The Rise and Fall of Billy the Blob" (2005), both published by MayMount. |

Ensimmäiset koeluontoiset treenit pidettiin Narrimarssin treenikämpällä Pihlajistossa, jonne uuden kokoonpanon saanut Lumiraja pian muutti. Samalla kämpällä treenasivat noihin aikoihin myös pientä paikallista suosiota saaneet Public Reaction When Communism Comes, Little Mary Mix-Up, The Innerspacemen ja Poverty Stinks. Uudistunut Lumiraja (Caiju Rönnholm - laulu, Asmo Hammer - kitara, Tomi Nuotio - basso, Heikki Hämeri - viulu, Timmo Ravea - rummut) teki ahkerasti keikkoja Helsingin klubeissa, jolloin se herätti myös vasta toimintansa aloittaneen Tonal Recordsin mielenkiinnon. Kesällä 1988 äänitettiin esikoissinkku "Käy kansa/Laiskiainen, joka ilmestyi loppuvuodesta. Tällöin Lumiraja sai kutsun Radio Cityyn Kimmo Helistön haastatteluun. Samoihin aikoihin tehtiin bändistä myös ensimmäinen juttu Rumbaan, jota varten Jouko Lehtola otti bändistä promo-kuvia. Seuraava sinkku "Mari Toukokuu/Etäistä" julkaistiin vuoden 1989 aikana, joka soi mm. Ylen ja Radio Cityn ohjelmissa. Bändissä tapahtui kuitenkin taas miehistövaihdoksia: kitaristi Asmo hammer lopetti, ja tilalle tuli mm. Nauwon Sudet-bändissä soittanut Timo Forss. Tällä kokoonpanolla äänitettiin talvella 90/91 Equaliz-studiossa Töölössä Kimmo Helistön tuottama "Kosto/Vaahtera"-7", joka jäi Lumirajan viimeiseksi julkaisuksi. Bändi lopetti toimintansa syksyllä 1991. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Current b-lectric | Benas Buivydas | The Current b-lectric is the main sound project of Benas Buivydas (a.k.a. b-), a sound explorer from Lithuania. The project consists of various experiments with modular synths, tape loops, noise boxes, field recordings, mangled samples, and whatnot. Despite the ever-changing experimental nature of the sounds, there is an underlying feeling of darkness and melancholy. Despite the occasionally appearing rhythms the music is trying to evoke a dreamlike state; its recordings feature ambient loops, detached monologue samples, various field recordings, etc. One thread connecting all recordings is the use of various body parameters (like heartbeat pulse or breath) to automate part of the recording process: opening/closing of filters, filling in additional percussion elements, panning in the stereo field, or controlling the volume of some particular part. This feature makes the artist himself part of the electrical current, hence the name Current b-lectric. |

He is a tall, well-built, red-haired grandson of his famous detective grandfather, Major Pronin. He appears to be highly skilled with firearms, swordsmanship, and hand-to-hand combat. His superhuman reflexes allow him to dodge high-speed projectiles like bullets, while his body is able to withstand the vacuum of space by using only a gas mask for breathing. He also shows remarkable talents in gambling, playing the accordion, and ballet. He is married to a chubby-cheeked housewife, and is completely faithful to her.

| Search | Add | 4 | Khanada | Khanada is the solo project of Andy K. Smith, former frontman for the Post Punk band, Peeling Grey. After a three year absence from the local music scene, Andy Smith returns with new material. Khanada is a continuation of the direction of his former project, while breaking new ground and creating a sound of its own. This effort will feature not only the results of time spent alone, but also collaborations from across the spectrum. As opposed to committing to album releases from previous endeavors, Khanada is a singles based project. New songs will be released regularly, sometimes weeks after their completion. One of the goals of this project is to bring the listener closer to the point of inspiration of songwriting. Album releases are great, but they can be a long and drawn out process. Over time, from the initial spark to mastering, certain elements of a song can change. Hence, a singles schedule may retain some more of that genesis. That's just one of the things that will set Khanada apart from the past | |

As a kid for him it was a bunch of years to search and discover through the gigantic records collection some of the most fantastic and rare masterpiece of these decades. Nowadays these memories bring back a new kind of creation for him. Music lover, DJ, producer Joel is active in the electronic music genre for more than 15 years. All has begun with The Badgers back in 2002 with two second hand Technics turntables. He was party manager of big electronic music festivals in the east of France and after that he started to produce some dark techno / minimal tracks with his best friend as The Badgers. After numerous music productions during more than 10 years in the dark techno / minimal branch with the Badgers (Creepy Finger Rec, Plankton Repellent, Momentum League, Killing Machine Rec. and many more) Joel decides to make a solo project to explore the another creative side of his personality, deeper and funkier. “Nasty Preacher” is the new born of this choice. “Nasty” was how some people portrayed the music his influences. “Preacher” is a nod to James Brown. There is only one objective, to create a good workout for your hips… Style: Electronic Musics Town: Stuttgart Labels: Groove Division, Alien Abduction, Momentum League, Absolutely Dark Records, Restore Music, Complex Textures, Select Case… Artists: Dan Gessulli, M.I.T., Technicalissues, Bredes Fernando, Damolh33, Nino Blink, Terry Whyte, Magda, Marc Houle, Dominik Eulberg, Red Robin, Heinrich & Hirtenfellner, Siopis… and so many others Influences: P-Funk, Disco, Classical Music, Progressiv Rock, New Wave, Synth Pop, Soul, Rhythm and Blues, Jazz… Indeed the type of music is not so important. | Search | Add | 4 | Mikiel Abela | Mikiel Abela (1920 - 1991) was a Maltese folk singer. Mikiel Abela l-Bambinu was born in Żejtun on the 16th of August 1920. He was brought up and lived in his father’s farmhouse that is located between Il-Qajjenza and Marsaxlokk. He was famous for his makkjetti and for his folk ballads. Amongst his most famous are Id-Destin ta' Pawlu l-Bies, Il-Fenech Inviżibbli, about Ċikku Fenech Ta' Vanġiela, who in June 1963 was on the run for three months, being sought all over Malta by the police for the murder of Ċikku Vella and L-Ingliż li ġie Miekul mill-Ħuta fil-Bajja ta' San Tumas, a ballad about Jack Smedley, an Englishman eaten by a great white shark in St. Thomas Bay on 20 July 1956. Most of Abela's ballads were published as chapbooks and he remains, with Żeppi Spagnol Il-Kelba one of the most prolific. Perhaps the most biographical work was the his ballad Il-Firda Eterna (Eternal Parting) written in honour of his wife Ġużeppa, who passed away three days after their daughter's marriage. Three thousand people flocked to visit her corpse at home prior to her burial. Abela also featured on vinyl with his sister-in-law Maria Abela tal-Bambinu, including the popular It-tgħajjira. Ballad writing requires intensive research and fieldwork. If the story revolved about a serious crime that was to be resolved by a jury, Abela would attend all the court sessions to observe the occurrences and be precise in his writings. Twenty of Bambinu's ballads were published in Cassar's 1988 biography entitled Il-Bambinu: għana u poeżija, that was published by Sensiela Kotba Soċjalisti. Recalled for his open commitment to the Partit Laburista, he is refered to as Il-Għannej tal-Partit (The party's folksinger). Abela was proud of his hometown, and its reputation of being the mecca for Maltese folksinging. He sung thus: Trid idur sebat irħula Biex forsi ssib għannej Iż-Żejtun jitwieled tifel, Joħroġ jgħanni jekk jibqa' ħaj! You have to go through seven villages To perhaps come across a folksinger In Żejtun a boy is born, He comes out singing if stays alive! The premise that a good folksinger needs to use his sense of wit to challenge authority was perhaps never as exemplified then when Mikiel Abela Il-Bambinu addressed the Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi, during a night of Maltese talent at the Manoel Theatre in the late Seventies. Enthusiasts still remember his improvised verses: Sur Gaddafi tħobb lil Malta Jien miż-Żejtun bil-mixi ġejt Nitolbok biex tagħdirna U fittex raħsilna ż-żejt Mr. Gaddafi, You love Malta I have walked all the way from Żejtun To implore you to empathize with us Spare no time in reducing the price of your petroleum. He performed amongst the Maltese communities in Australia, Canada and in London, and as a guest in Germany and Italy. Aged thirty, he was committed about emigrating for good to Australia and on the ship that had sailed from Malta with one thousand migrants, Abela claims that three hundred were from Żejtun. During the time he spent in Australia he suffered economic hardship and returned to Malta. Back in Malta he became the famous folk singer that he was. Abela passed away on the 10th of February 1991. One of the most famous balladeers in the history of għana. His grand daughter married the noted Mikiel Cutajar Is-Superstar. His cousin was improvised verse folk singer Żeppi Abela l-Fenka.

After most of the artist were either incarcerated or killed, Cane decided to Drop his first solo mix tape “Product Of the Street” Hosted By DJ J3, with gritty lyrics dropped methodically over harsh sounding 808 drums and neck snapping rhythms, Cane demanded the attention and respect of his peers in the business, landing him features with Platinum selling artist, FIELD MOB, GUCCI MANE, PLIES and more. After working his mix tape via the streets, Cane went back into the studio and emerged with the Real Nigga Radio Follow-Up “PRODUCT OF THE STREETS 2 THE RE-UP” Hosted By The Legendary “Bigga Rankin”. The streets unofficial General Gave Cane the Co-sign that he needed to takeover Mixtapes and Venues all over the state of Florida.
