Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Sounds of Triumph was a non-profit organization that produced Christian concerts and radio programs, one of which was produced for Toronto Teen Challenge. Offices and studios were located in the now demolished Evangelistic Centre at Yonge and York Mills in Toronto; the same Pentecostal Holiness Church that hosted a concert for Mark Heard. The radio show aired on WDCX 99.5 FM an American radio station broadcasting from Buffalo, New York. Center Sound Productions was the predecessor to Sounds of Triumph. Sounds of Triumph was also a newspaper published as an adjunct to Gord Driver's Jesus-rock radio program. Sounds of Triumph was set up as a non-profit organization that produced Christian concerts and radio programs, one of which was produced for Toronto Teen Challenge. Offices and studios were located in the now demolished Evangelistic Centre at Yonge and York Mills in Toronto In January, 1980, Daniel Amos and Randy Stonehill wrapped up part of the Amos n'Randy Tour in a Toronto concert, sponsored by Sounds of Triumph. The event captured the attention of the local press and two television stations ("The New Music" a MuchMusic production and unknown) have produced features on Contemporary Christian music. At the end of the concert, StreetLevel's Phil Mangano arrived with Larry Norman in tow, and Larry was coaxed on stage for a song with the band.(Source: CCM Magazine January 1980 and danielamos.com) | |

Search | Add | 2 | Lauren Heintz | Lauren Nicole Heintz | Summerfield, Florida Award-winning singer/songwriter, and Gatorbone Recording Artist, Lauren Heintz, has quite a story to tell. She swam in volcanic calderas, water-skied gator-infested rivers, repaired U-2 spy planes near the Yellow Sea while in the USAF, and worked in the dot-com tech wars of Silicon Valley. Yet, what excites her most is stepping onto stages and playing her music. Lauren's musical roots were planted at the jam sessions of her Chicago-area childhood home. She grew up listening to her mother and father playing & singing their favorite country & western tunes. Her musical influences range from such greats as Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Jim Croce, Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver, and the Beatles. And she cites friend, mentor, and finger-style maestro, Jack Williams, for inspiring her to take her own finger-picking to higher levels and to also take her show on the road. Lauren has two albums to her credit. Her sophomore music project, Where I Belong, debuted on global folk radio as the #12 album. And her first album, Feels Like a Miracle, promptly sold out after being released and helping to establish her as a standout in the Florida folk scene. If her life was a novel, the songs on her two albums are the plot points of her story, the twists and turns of an edge walker. These albums capture many aspects of her search for survival and a sense of place and purpose. Lauren graduated from Eustis High School, Florida and immediately joined the USAF, then later received her Bachelors of Science in Computer Science (University of Maryland), then spent the next fifteen years as a Software Engineer before outing herself as a musician. Today, she lives in Central Florida. |
