Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Prince Qwela | Herbert Qwela Schwamborn | Prince Qwela a.k.a [a=Qwela tha Brainchild] is a pioneering Zimbabwean hip-hop MC, born December 8th, 1973 in Mbare, Harare, Zimbabwe to a German father and a Zimbabwean mother. In 1985 he formed the first hip-hop group in Zimbabwe as [a=Lethal Language] together with Terrie Mahati a.k.a Tel-A-Ryme. In 1989 the two were even featured in The Source Magazine in the U.S. at the height of the Afrocentric movement in hip-hop. In 1992, Qwela joined forces with fellow rapper Tony Chihota a.k.a Chief, producer Keith Farquharson and singer/songstress Chiwoniso Maraire to form the group known as A Positive Existence Allowing Cultural Expression Of Ebony or [a=A Peace Of Ebony] for short. Together they released the now classic album 'From the Native Tongue' on [l=Teal Trutone Music] in South Africa. The group were also featured in the 1993 motion picture film 'More Time' which was filmed in Harare. The group went on to tour Southern Africa including a show in Madagascar. The group parted after the tour with Qwela teaming up with another MC, Tendayi Viki a.k.a [a=Akibuhlan] to form the group known as [a=Kataklizim]. In 1994, he relocated to Johannesburg, South Africa, where he worked as a TV host on Channel O as well as hosting M-Net's Shell Road to Fame show. Qwela helped to mold the infrastructure in the early post-Apartheid years of hip-hop in Johannesburg, together with Chief and [a=Laygwan Sharkie] before relocating once more, this time to New York City in 1998 where he developed the persona [a=Metaphysics]. In 2014 he independently released the album 'Mudzimu' on [l=Gandanga Music] as Prince Qwela paying homeage to his musical roots in Zimbabwe and South Africa. |

Search | Add | 2 | 3° Below | Band from Oakland, CA formed in the mid 90's. They released a few records and by the time 2000 dawned, guitarist Randy Markham had been diagnosed with a severe eye condition that was slowly spiraling into blindness and the band began to lose steam, having never really taken a break over their long career. So with one last show in San Francisco, 3°Below called it quits.

Search | Add | 2 | Red Treasure | Collin Daniels and Gabriel Rivero formed the core of Red Treasure in late 2015 in Los Angeles, with Daniels on vocals and guitar and Rivero on drums. Specialising in melodic, riff-centric power punk, the group's sound gives a definite nod to 90's alternative bands like Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana, along with a healthy dash of 80's-era Metallica hard rock. These elements come together on their debut 5-track EP, "The Hothouse Trip." In the studio, the band teamed up with Engineer/Co-Producer Spencer Guerra, and Rivero performed double-duty on bass and drums. For this first recording, the group also got crucial contributions from Daniels' college pal Corey Landis, of Corey Landis & The Attacks, on piano and backup vocals on the song "Only Human." Genre Alternative Rock Band Members Collin Daniels, Gabriel Rivero Home Town Los Angeles, CA, United States About Red Treasure creates melodic, riff-centric power punk, giving a definite nod to 90’s alternative bands like Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana, along with a healthy dash of 80’s-era Metallica hard rock. Biography Singer/Guitarist Collin Daniels had founded two bands in New York City, only to watch both dissolve as other members dropped out. Undeterred, he moved his whole life to Los Angeles for a fresh start. Native Angelino and multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Rivero had high hopes for the LA-based outfit he was playing lead guitar in. One day he found himself suddenly band-less in the wake of the lead singer’s unexpected departure. Through different, circuitous circumstances that now look a lot like fate, in 2015 they both ended up working at a call center for a large bank. Conversation between cubicles about common interests soon led to the first rehearsal of Red Treasure. The band began performing around LA in 2016, and their first EP, “The Hothouse Trip,” is set for release in June 2015. Current Location Los Angeles, CA, United States

Search | Add | 2 | European Syndrome | Hans en Rudi Brussee started with this band in 1982. Antoinette, the girlfriend of Rudi did the vocals. Hans played guitar and vocals, Rudi played keyboards and synthesizer (Moog Prodigy) and programmed the drums (Roland 606) and played the bass wich he put on a cassette so they can play live. After 2 years they wanted a bass player so Bert van der Mark was invited to play. Than a drummer came (Pieter) and also a new vocalist. This was Liesbeth esselink who later became Solex. They played around in Leiden and Mike the Leeuw became a big fan of them. So when Liesbeth left the band they asked Mike to play with them. The drummer also left so they decided to play with a new drumcomputer, the Roland TR 707. This was the birth of Immortal.

Search | Add | 2 | Vledder | Vledder is a regional language band from the surroundings of the Dutch village of Oploo. The pop / rock band was formed in 2002 from some members of O.E.F. ("Oploos Eerste Philharmonic"), which had stopped shortly before. Vledder's repertoire consists of pop and rock songs that are always sung in the local Oploose dialect. Tex-Mex and German schlagers are also sometimes played, also in the local dialect. In 2002 the farewell concert of O.E.F. place and some members decided to make a musical restart. During a performance in Oploo in 2006, the band met the sisters Marian and Bianca Cornelissen. They attended many rehearsals and eventually both joined the band. In 2003, 2008, 2009 and 2010 the band participated in the Dialectpop festival, but did not win the title "Best dialectact". In December 2002 the live album "Minse" was recorded. The second album, entitled Spektakels!, is also filled with live recordings.

Search | Add | 2 | Skelecorps | From the minds of two rabid fans and collectors, comes the most unique musical parody you are likely to ever hear. Based on the now cult classic 80's cartoon "He Man and The Masters Of The Universe" For The Fans By The Fans LLC proudly presents "SKELECORPS" In another dimension on a planet called Eternia. The Supreme Overlord Of Evil, Skeletor and his elite forces have suffered yet another humiliating defeat at the hands of He-Man and The Masters. Finally accepting they cant defeat him head on. Skeletor & Evil Lyn plot to search other dimensions for strong but weak minded soldiers to do his bidding and help him conquer Eternia. Through Evil Lyn's crystal ball they witness a metal concert and people violently smashing each other over mere music. He then decides that using the humans primal reaction to music along with hypnotic magic and brainwashing he will crush He-Man and King Randor by sheer numbers and force, But not even Skeletor could fathom the stomache curling brutality of the human condition and what follows is a tale of action packed campy dark comedy and madness.
