Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Project: Patchwork | The Debüt of the Project: Patchwork of Drummer [a7494317], formerly member of the Cover-Band Groovefabrik, is [r8910491] (2015). He got support from different German musicians, for example Kalle Wallner (RPWL, Blind Ego), Marek Arnold (Toxic Smile, Seven Steps To The Green Door, Cyril, United Progressive Fraternity, Flaming Row, Damanek), Martin Schnella (Flaming Row, Mau & Schnella) and many more. The songs were generated over a period of 8 years and mixed by 3 producers in 3 different studios. The result are a combination of wide variation Neo progressive music, straightforward and classic rock, sometimes with slight metal elements. In addition, [m1578521] (2018) follow the same rules. Again a nice and contemporary release made by a collective of experienced musicians. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Gina Haley | Linda Georgina Haley | Linda Georgina (Gina) Haley (born April 23, 1975, in Mexico) is an American singer-songwriter. Haley is the youngest child of rock and roll pioneer Bill Haley from his marriage to his last wife, Martha; she grew up in Harlingen, and she was only five years old when her father died in 1981. At 18 years old, she left home and set out to find her musical identity, which landed her in Houston. She is classically trained on piano and an accomplished self-taught guitarist and songwriter. During the mid-1990s, she left Houston and moved to Los Angeles.[3] She managed to catch the eye of producer Michael Sembello, and worked closely with him writing, recording, and arranging tracks which appeared in television and movies. Gina also worked closely with songwriter Richard Rudolph, and published songs through Music Sales Group. Her first self-titled album was released in Japan in 1999 Heat Wave. During these years in Los Angeles, she sang with the world music group called The Bridge, whose members included Edu Falcao, Daniel Jobim, Paulinho Da Costa, Vincent Colaiuta, and Michael Sembello. Gina later formed her own group, the Gina Haley Band, and continues to work in the musical field in her home state of Texas. On July 6, 2005, she performed with her father's old band, The Comets at the Viper Room in West Hollywood as part of 50th-anniversary celebrations of her father's famous song "Rock Around the Clock" reaching the number-one position on American sales charts, as well as what would have been Bill Haley's 80th birthday. In June 2008, the Gina Haley Band performed at the Bill Haley induction to the South Texas Music Walk of Fame in Corpus Christi, Texas. Other inductees included Chelo Silva, Pat Grogan, Joe Gallardo, Max Stalling, and The Reverend Horton Heat. Meeting Jim Heath (Reverend Horton Heat) was an important event in Gina's life. Jim had not intended to perform at the induction ceremony, as his band had not traveled with him, but decided to dedicate a Bill Haley song to Gina, a song that inspired him to become a musician. That song was "Rock the Joint". After years of contemplating making a rockabilly album, Gina had finally decided that it was time to carry on her father's legacy. A year later she sang "Rock the Joint" with Reverend Horton Heat at a concert in Dallas, Texas. She continues to perform in Texas with the Gina Haley Band, in her original alternative country sound. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Stephen Merriman | Stephen Rich Merriman | I play jazz piano, and I compose music—mostly jazz: set pieces, and compositions that can work as stand-alone offerings, and also serve as vehicles for jazz improvisation and exploration. I was called to piano at age 7, nearly seven decades ago now. The keyboard, and the universe contained within it, have been my true, most constant friends and companions throughout this lifetime. Originally, playing the piano was a means to preserve my sanity during childhood—to express and offload emotions that dared not be put into words in an abusive, ignorant, addictions-ridden household. Knowledge about harmony and musical composition, and the desire to develop improvisational proficiency, took root. They accompanied me, developing at their own, unhurried pace as I grew older and encountered the challenges of how to live in the world and be comfortable in my own skin. In any setting where I play, I always “come to play.” Sometimes I play quite well; other times I play not so well. Regardless of what kind of day I'm having, I always play to "express," rather than to "entertain." Although my compositional gifts are my stronger suit and have come more naturally to me, I still love and appreciate my playing skills equally, and I’m grateful to have both capabilities. Here’s what I can promise you, should you choose to wade into my compositions and my playing: There is no hustle, no hype, no slick promotion, no cheap charisma nor pandering, no cult of personality, no cultivating the folklore of the “suffering artist” or exulting in a self-indulgent, eccentric lifestyle, no bragging rights, no sense of being in competition with anything, or anyone. There is only the movement of soul from one moment to the next, ever sampling the richness of the palate of Creation—daring, at the insistence of the Muse, to transform some of Its wonders (from all directions) into musical expression. Creating, via composing, playing set pieces, or “hanging out” on—risking—the unforeseen, high-wire surprises (both + and -) of jazz improvisation and exploration, is daunting: sometimes joyous, sometimes fun, sometimes exhilarating, often exhausting, sometimes heart-wrenching, sometimes serene, and everything in between. Whatever the experience that, in any given moment, finds itself revealed—either through a composition or within an improvised chorus (or both)—the music, and the motivation behind it, are soul-based. In their conception and presentation, they are pure. |

| Search | Add | 4 | 33blackLP | Mark T. Davis (Omenya) and Allan Zane (WYRM, Solumenata, Le Scrambled Debutante etc.) | 33blackLP is the project brainchild of Mark Davis (Omenya). He is joined by Allan Zane (WYRM, Solumenata, Le Scrambled Debutante, etc.). Davis’s and Zane’s styles are similar, yet unique enough to augment each other’s work in a manner that is truly sublime. 33blackLP set out to amalgamate and mutate musical genres without adhering to any particular one of them. This strategy is employed in order to lend an element of surprise to every release. The music should speak for itself. Davis and Zane insist on this concept to the extent that every release (and every track on every release) will be represented by progressive Roman numerals as titles. Visually, 33blackLP will engage in “aesthetic open dialogues”—as abstract imagery can complement music without imposing concepts upon it in the way that song titles can. 33blackLP draw influence from every area of life—without implying suggestions or answers. These influences are myriad. These influences are stylistically-blended into a refined hedonism (sometimes even sadomasochistic in its expression) that is the very essence that is the project. |

Dorien loves cats and flying saucers; he is also interested in some esoteric disciplines, such as oracle cards, astrology and dowsing. "Egyptian Sands" is his first digital album: released on January 2018 by the discographic label Pleyad Studios, it is dedicated to the tradition of belly dance. Dorien is the composer and the rapper; he was inspired by ethnic music, particularly by the typical melodies of North African countries. This album is also dedicated to the mysteries of Ancient Egypt, such as Pyramids, the Sphinx, Bastet the Cat Goddess... but the greater mystery of all is that of alien traces over or under the sands! | |

Such is the story of the creation of High Red. Hailing from the heartlands of both the United States and Norway, the combined members of the High Red are on a mission to spread their musical message to audiences the world over. With nothing short of awe-inspiring live performances, High Red will embark on a musical journey right in front of your eyes and ears. And all you have to do is witness. With countless appearances sharing the stage with world-class touring acts (Robben Ford, Michael Landau, Kirk Fletcher, etc) in Scandinavia, Europe, and the USA, it was only a matter of time before Jon, Per, Iver, and Adam were to embark on their own musical endeavor - as High Red. Drawing inspiration from heavy study and upbringing in gospel-infused soul music and playing the blues everywhere from Los Angeles to Stockholm, these boys create a genre-splitting version of urban sleek and rural grit. With Adam Douglas' vocal prowess and avant-garde guitar playing, Per Øystein Erstad's command of the bass, Jon Reidar Furulund's relentless groove behind the drum kit, Iver Olav Erstad's mastery of the Hammond Organ, Clavinet, Rhodes, and piano - High Red has a message for you… Are you ready to listen? Musicians: Adam Douglas, Iver Olav Erstad, Per Øystein Erstad, Markus Lillehaug Johnsen and Jon Reidar Furulund |

| Search | Add | 4 | Rosborough | Glenn Rosborough | Glenn Rosborough is a singer songwriter from Derry, Northern Ireland. In a city steeped in music and performance he grew up in a household full of records that became his influences. “I started my musical life from a very early age, teaching myself guitar at the age of ten and writing songs from the year after. Growing up in a musical household, with childhood heroes such as Tom Waits, Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel, becoming a musician was not a destined path but as realistic a career as becoming a lawyer, plumber or doctor. My parents made sure of that.” Rosborough cut his teeth in the vibrant music scene in Derry, playing regular shows at Bennigan's and the Warehouse which allowed him to try new songs on an audience full of writers and performers. This cultural hub served him well, allowing him to cultivate and refine an album’s worth of songs that attracted the attention of Ignition Records to whom he signed in 2017. This year Glenn has been on tour both as a headline artist and supporting some great acts including The DMAs, Mew and Seafret throughout the UK and Europe. He has also appeared at festivals such as the Great Escape and Community Festival, showcasing new songs whilst building a great live reputation and loyal following. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Colin J. Boyd | Colin J. Boyd (1891-1975) Cape Breton Fiddler Colin J. Boyd was born in West Lakevale, Antigonish Country, Nova Scotia on January 1, 1891. He took a great interest in the violin at age three and would listen intently to his uncle Hughie MacGillivary. When Hughie died his fiddle was given to Colin who was then twelve years old. He was kept busy playing for concerts, dances and weddings. The economy in Nova Scotia hit a slump and in 1909 Colin went to work in Ontario. Then he spent from 1911 to 1916 working in Boston where he studied violin and learned to read music. It was during this time he composed his most famous fiddle tune "The Little Burnt Potato". Colin was the first Nova Scotian in the old time or country field to make commercial recordings. He first recorded in Montreal for Brunswick on March 19, 1932. He also recorded 78's on the Columbia and Celtic labels. He last recorded an LP in 1963 at the age of 72. His old 78's were re-issued on LP in 1979. Though Colin has ten children, none of them have taken up the fiddle. Although Colin did not make a lot of money on music, he got much enjoyment from playing and entertaining. His home was always open to anyone wanting to hear a tune and he never refused to play. He passed away June 17, 1975 at the age of 84. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Nicholas J. Michalak | I, Nicholas J. Michalak, created RavensFilm Productions in Spring, 2004 as a serious statement that filmmaking would be my life's passion. What began as a focus on comedic shorts eventually veered toward more dramatic and noir style narratives born from my evolving fandom of the work of Chicago born filmmaker Michael Mann. Thief was the first, but it was Collateral that solidified my deadset interest in the crime genre. Hitmen, criminals, syndicates, lawmen, private detectives, and vigilantes have all become common subject matter since then. Other influences upon my work include John Carpenter, Ridley Scott, Christopher Nolan, Robert Rodriguez, Quentin Tarantino, Clive Barker, Russell Mulcahy, and Kevin Smith, just to name a few. These influences have driven my creativity far, but the desire is always there to branch out into other genres. RavensFilm Productions is aided by an array of highly talented actors and filmmakers across Chicagoland. My closest and most trusted collaborator is Cinematographer, Videographer, and SteadiCam Operator Eric Woltman of Voltage Visual Studios and Steadi Zephyr. His expertise, technical knowledge, and artistic eye have benefitted my endeavors greatly, and the favor has been returned many times. Beyond a great collaborator, he is a valued friend, and that is the relationship I like to spark with everyone I work with. RavensFilm Productions also has a long standing and ever expanding collaboration with Chicago heavy metal band HEMI. Numerous music videos have been produced for the band by me, I have designed their entire official web site, shoot nearly all of their live shows since April of 2011, and in 2012, I recorded, produced, edited, and mixed their first live album, The Chosen Ones: Live in the Fire, along with designing all of the interior artwork for the CD release. The friendship with the band has officially made me the fifth member of the band. As of 2011, RavensFilm Productions is a registered Service Mark in the State of Illinois. That only further legitimizes RavensFilm Productions in my eyes, and the expansion to offering a variety of video production and web design services aimed at the burgeoning artist has broken the possibilites wide open for what RavensFilm Productions can grow into becoming. The future is starting to develop more and more with the release of Dead Of Night on Special Edition DVD, the impending completion of The Fixer on the horizon, and several promising scripts in development. The year of 2013 brought high definition finally into the grasp of RavensFilm Productions, and several new YouTube video series were launched including Forever Cinematic video movie reviews and the Leftover Junk series where I feature abandoned, alternate, or unreleased footage from my projects that need a little context. The future holds many exciting opportunities and possibilites for everything I hope to do with RavensFilm Productions. | |
