Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | KUT Goldcard | Katsuyuki Hosoda | Japanese House DJ/producer from Tokyo. Kut started out in Tokyo spinning parties around 1989. Soon he purchased his first sampler and began making tracks on his own in the early 90's. Shortly thereafter, he quit DJing in favor of production. From 1994-1998 he spent time in various US cities. He absorbed the vibes and techniques there from many US studios including NY's D&D Studios. After coming back to Japan, Kut dropped out of production for a few years. This didn't last long as the music called him back. [l=Elephanthaus]/[l=Real Estate Records] owner [a=Tim Baker] discovered Kut and signed him for 3 EP's. Unlike many Japanese artists, Kut soon aimed to focus on the international game. New York's [l=4th Floor Records] quickly signed him for "Kut Presents Hot for Love". These disco flavored cuts quickly found their way into playlists, charts and record bags of many DJ's all over the world. At the same time, Kut started focusing on Europe and was immediately picked up for several EP's and put on remix duty on such labels as [l=Bush] (UK) and [l=Oxyd Records] (Italy). Delving headfirst in a new direction (Techno and Tech-House) Kut's remix for [a=DJ Kruze]'s "Let Me In" on [l=Bush] ended up on [a=Carl Cox]'s Live 2nd Session – Area 2, Detroit. His 2003 R.I.C.H. EP on the US's biggest Tech-House label [l=Big Chief] rocked clubs internationally and was bagged and charted by a myriad of high profile DJ's over the world. In 2004, [a=Seishi Ono] & [a=Kut Goldcard]'s Plug 1 EP was cained by hundreds of DJ's including [a=Carl Cox]. 2005 saw remixes on [l=Toolroom Trax] (UK) and [l=Brickhouse] (Germany). Recently he was signed to United Nation of House on [l=C2 Records (UK) / CR2 Records (UK)]. |

Search | Add | 4 | Furio Sollazzi | Furio Sollazzi | Italian musician, composer and polyedric artist. Born 7/7/1950, he played in many bands as a drummer from 1966 to 1973. In 1973 he decided to retire from professional music scene, devoting himself to architecture, though he kept his interest in music as a hobby. Since then he's been director and conductor of many radio shows, promoter of several music-related events and author of some books about the history of Italian music. He wrote some fiction books too. From 1993 he plays with a Beatles tribute band, Back To The Beates, with whom he published versions of their unreleased and unfinished tracks, together with a live album including songs never played live by the "Fab Four" in their shows. |

Search | Add | 4 | The Swamp Salad | Dave Donovan began his career in NZ playing alongside Mike Perjanik in several popular local acts before moving to Sydney in the late 60's. As an in demand session guitarist during the 70's he played with the cream of Australia's entertainment world including John Farnham, Don Lane and Marty Rhone. He appeared on more than 200 albums and played on over 8000 commercial jingles. In 1971 he stepped out on his own cutting the album On The Country Line as Swamp Salad, putting together prolific sessionmen plus vocalist Christine Barnett. This may well have been intended as a country/rock cash-in, however, the final result was nothing of the kind. Covers of ‘Witchita Lineman’ and ‘Ode To Billy Joe’ fit the ‘country’ tag well enough, but much of the rest is bluesy underground rock jamming covered in fuzz guitar and owing a heavy debt to Jimi Hendrix. The album is known with two different covers: one with a black-and-white band photograph and the other with a much more attractive full-colour psychedelic painting.

Search | Add | 4 | Too Much For The White Man | Irish Reggae band from Tuam in County Galway who formed in 1985 and disbanded in the early 90s. The idea of the group came together when band members were living in London. While in the UK capital, the band started playing with Jamaican musicans. This gave rise to their interest in reggae. Leo Moran only remained with the group for a short time as he left in 1986 to form [a=The Saw Doctors]. They returned to Tuam in 1987. They derived their name from a rough translation of a Spanish phrase. Band member, John Brogan, had just returned home from the Canary Islands where the heat there was described as being 'Too Much For The Whiteman'. Put Your Mind At Ease reached Number 28 in Ireland on the 13th of October 1988 where it stayed for one week. They also contributed the track 'Try A Little Harder' to the soundtrack of 'The Courier', a film featuring Gabriel Byrne and Patrick Bergin. Too Much For The Whiteman split in the early 90s. However, they reformed on the 22nd of August 2015 to perform live at the SugarBeat Festival in Tuam Stadium. On the 29th of April 2017 they played live again at The Brogue Bar, Tuam in honour of their late bass player [a=Dermot Holian] aka Der who had lost his battle with cancer on the 18th of July 2015. The proceeds of that gig went towards Galway Hospice. Line up: Martin 'Mouse' McHugh - Vocals Mike Ivory - Guitar Axel Grude - Keyboards Dermot Holian - Bass Gerry McHugh - Percussion Alan Flynn - Drums Danny Kelly - Trombone John Brogan - Drums

Vin had a breezy approach to hip-hop, rapping about girls and parents with a likable, profanity-free personality. After signing to Starway in 1990, he cut The Show Must Go On with producer Charles "Poogie" Bell. The record made little impact, and Vin dropped out of the hip-hop scene soon after.

Search | Add | 4 | King-Kill/33° | Combining disorienting visuals, conspiracy mumbo-jumbo, and tautly-wound electric/eccentric rock, King-Kill/33* was absolutely one of the most exciting and intriguing groups of the Atlanta indie rock scene peak of the early '90s. Forming in the summer of 1990 in the "King-Kill house", (the band) took it's name from a James Shelby Downard essay published by Adam Parfrey in his book Apocalypse Culture. "The essay is about the Kennedy assassination" bassist Donna Smith explained in an interview with Mouth magazine shortly after the group's formation. "It has a lot of numerological and Masonic symbolism. King-Kill/33* was a plot to kill the divine king, which was seen as the only Catholic and non-Mason President in some time," to which vocalist Mitch Foy, who suggested the name added, "The essays are fascinating, there's plenty of mind food in it, but it's not something we promote. We're not anti-Mason, we're not pro-Mason. It's a starting point to play around with." King-Kill/33* released a handful of singles and compilation appearances in their three years, but they truthfully had to be experienced live to be fully appreciated. More effectively than any other local group at the time, and usually more effectively than any visual-oriented group anywhere, King-Kill utilized an armory of films, slides, strobes, transparencies, and other sorts of visual overload, projected against and behind them as they played. Add to this Foy's affinity for provoking performance art and costumes (his most memorable outfit involved crude stilts made from "blocks of wood two feet high, with some old sneakers bolted into the top of 'em", on which he would teeter above the crowd and his band mates), and King-Kill/33* was an act not soon forgotten. -Jeff Clark (Stomp and Stammer)

Search | Add | 4 | Israel Fichman | Israel Fichman | Israel Fichman, was and still known because of a special small underground record shop in Bat-Yam called "Gingi Records" (which was originally started as a photography shop). In the early 90's, Trance and Techno music couldn't be found around Israel, expect 3 shops (2 other were in Tel Aviv), which brought this kind of stuff. The whole Israeli Trance scene was actually started in these places, where DJ's who came to get the usual 12" for their sets, could get these new sounds, which could be heard elsewhere. In fact, the first Israeli Trance compilation - "Trance Mix" was released on his home label called BMI, later changed to Melodia. Israel "Gingi" Fichman has passed away in November 2010 because of cardiac arrest. Hebrew: ישראל פיכמן |

Search | Add | 4 | Fulc | FULC | FULC was an alternative/nu-metal/industrial rock band from Leeds, UK, formed in Scunthorpe, UK. Formed in November 2000 FULC demo "Void" (2001) landed the band offers of recording contracts from 3 independent labels. Instead the band signed to Stunted Records and Management who sent FULC on a 15 date tour in February/March 2002 to start building a fanbase. By July 2002 FULC were recording “The Fallen” EP at Sawmills Studios in Cornwall, following in the footsteps of Muse, Oasis, Supergrass etc. Released on September 9th 2002 on Stunted Records, FULC embarked on a 35 date promotional tour from July to Sept. 2002, and a further 20 date tour from Oct. to Dec. 2002. The EP received excellent reviews, the most impact being a live review in Kerrang and a full page Kerrang “Rising” feature in 26th Oct. 02 issue. Never ones to stand still FULC returned to Sawmills in Jan 03 to record their debut album “Biting Insomnia” . The album was released on June 23rd 2003 on Stunted Records, with a 50 date promotional tour set up to coincide with the release. With a KKKK review in Kerrang, Metal Hammer, Powerplay magazines etc all passed comment on the quality of FULC’s songwriting. FULC hit the road again in winter 2003 for a further 20 date promotional tour, their most successful yet. Featured on BBC Radio 1 One Music FULC were no.1 in the “Lock Up” chart for 6 months and playlisted on Radio One in July 2003. FULC were personally selected by Mary Anne Hobbs to perform at a Radio One Rock Show event in Leeds in June 2003. Mike Davies ( R1 DJ ) described FULC song “Nest” as :- “Fantastic, Fulc have got subtlety down to a fine art,”Nest” rocks in all the right places without thrusting itself in your face. This is both melodic and bowel shakingly heavy and will have rock fans creaming themselves to catch them perform live “ FULC supported Vendetta Red, Span, Agnostic Front, Skindred, Fony, Vacant Stare, Spear of Destiny, Kinesis, Martin Grech and others. Tours were sponsored by Jagermeister alongside The Darkness, Violent Delight and This Girl. FULC headlined the second stage at the 2003 Bloodstock Festival in Derby, alongside Saxon and Paradise Lost on the main stage. Two further 15 date UK tours took place in 2004. Recording their final album at The Chapel in South Thoresby in Oct 2004, this was followed by tours of Germany and the UK in 2005 to promote their second album "Embrace.Destroy" which received much critical acclaim in the UK and Germany. Shortly after the release of Embrace.Destroy in May 2005 personal circumstances led to a hiatus which the band never recovered from. Lineup: Duane Walker - lead vocals, guitar Rik Clay - lead guitar, backing vocals Kris Kilmore - bass Mark Cooke - drums |

The music of this musician has distinctive quality sound, melodies and rigidity are present in it, which is typical of the style of Minimal Techno, which in its turn is aimed at associative perception. In 2018 (11 years later) the album “New Account 2” was released, the composition of which took more than six months.
