Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Luc Miles | Luc Miles | Luc Miles have always had a particular approach with music. During his adolescence he has been attracted by afro, hip-hop and R&B music, from the great classics to the new releases. Luc had a constant musical learning and growing up he contradictorily started to approach to the electronic music world. Going often to different clubs, he quickly understood that he was intensely attracted by a total discordant musical style, comparing to his past trends. Seduced by the club culture and by the dark and hypnotic sounds of the minimal music, Luc tried to learn different techniques in order to produce his music. His experience of producer started as a hobby during the last years of high school. His real first EP "La Patineta" was published in 2009 on Alex Young's label, Kraft Records. From that year Luc started to publish numerous tracks on labels like Gomma, Malatoid, Society 3.0, Apt. International and Natural Rhythm. During the years were born also important collaborations with artists like Lucio Malatoid, Alex Piccini, Wigbert, Ian Pooley, Matt Star, Horatio and some of his tracks were played by djs of the caliber of Mendo, Ellen Alien, Josh Wink, Markus Homm, Martin Eyerer, Roger Sanchez and many others. Meticulous and perfectionist, in studio Luc selects ethnic and sensual melodies, trying to filter them in the ethics of the house and techno music. Congas, maracas and researched cymbals steadily nourish, with a cheerful and lively rhythm, the full-bodied and powerful bass line. The main suction is to bind and mix the electronic with the warm sounds of jazz and world music. Talking about his dj sets, Luc doesn't subscribe himself to a main genre, but includes all the various branches of the house and techno music. The approach with every dance floor, with a more or less numerous public, is to create a warm, harmonious and festive groove through an instinctive and well-balanced selection of LPs. |

--- Gyrðir Elíasson (born 4 April 1961) is an author and translator in Iceland. Gyrðir was born in Reykjavík, but was raised in Sauðarkrókur, a small town in the northern part of the country. He graduated from the Fjölbrautarskóli Nordurlands Vestra in Saudárkrókur in 1982. While trying various academic options at universities of education, he began writing poetry. His first book, a collection of poetry titled Svarthvít axlabönd (Black-and-White Suspenders), was published in 1983. He also began translating works into Icelandic, considering it the duty of Icelandic writers to give a hand in translations. Among his translations are four works by Richard Brautigan. He also has an interest in works about the indigenous peoples of the Americas. Gyrðir has written ten volumes of poetry and five books of prose. His style is called "highly personal" among other things. |

He first started with a local band, which he sang covers by his American country Influences such as Alan Jackson, George Strait, George Jones, Mark Chestnut, Randy Travis, etc. After realizing the importance of his traditional Acadian roots, he founded a French group called Zarico with whom he recorded two albums, which led to perform at the Country Rocks the Hill Concert, opening for Sugarland, Alan Jackson and Brooks and Dunn. Five albums later, the Acadian Singer Songwriter is still on the rise, as he is among the top best-sellers at his distributor. He was very fortunate that all three French albums were awarded Album of the Year at the Canadian Francophone Country Music Awards in 2011, 2013 and 2016. In 2013, LeBlanc realized another one of his dreams as he recorded his first English LP in one of Nashville, TN’s finest studios, The Tracking Room. Influences, his first cover album, was also awarded “Album of the Year” at the Music NB Awards ceremony. His latest album 20 which commemorates with his 20 years as a singer, recently won Album of the Year and Singer-Songwriter of the Year at the Canadian Francophone Country Music Awards . The album, which also includes a bonus DVD, was also nominated at ADISQ and Music NB Awards. His single Moi-itou Mojito became the most downloaded French song on iTunes Canada last April after it was discovered in one of Montreal’s famous radio talk show Puisqu’il faut se lever hosted by Paul Arcand on 98.5fm, This incredible buzz created a lot of interest from media, which led to radio interviews, TV interviews and journal / magazine articles. With all this wonderful media attention, LeBlanc was recognized at the end of the year as he made the top 5 cultural event in New Brunswick. Search | Add | 4 | Katia Rocha | Katia Cunha Rocha | Kátia Rocha a brazilian instrumentist, composer and interpret, a more than 10-year-on-the-road artist. A peaceful born under Taurus woman, but a stage-energetic swing musician, Kátia has always had a very eclectic taste for music that ranges from Billie Holliday to “Gonzaguinha “, from “Milton Nascimento” to Jethro Tull. She started her studies on transversal flute during the times she coursed Physical Education in college and when she headed for Rio, she also studied singing, sax, acoustic guitar and musical harmony. Her history with the sax had already begun some years ago, when she got the instrument from her father, and that soon enough seemed awkward and the lady decided to sell it. Barely did she know that the sax would become her main musical instrument at the beginning of her career. In the 80’s, she took part in some bands as “Jogo de Cintura”, on a partnership with Ricco Duarte and as “Confusion Jazz Co.” – dedicated to instrumental music. The experience of The Confusion band was registered on a album that was released in 1992. In 1996, she decided to fly solo with her álbum “Kátia Rocha”, with musical arrangement by Leandro Braga and participations of Zé Renato and Elisa Lucinda, her co-writer for the song Espírito Santinho, one of the 10 songs in the album, which talks about the beauties of their homeland and has become one of the dearest songs for hometowners. The release of this album took place in Carlos Gomes Theatre, in Vitória, with the musical group Boca Livre, and also in Mistura Fina and cultural place for entertainment Sérgio Porto, in Rio de Janeiro, and on with a tour throughout the northwest part of the country, in the Pixinguinha Project with long-time singer João Nogueria, who passed away some years ago. |
