Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Dorotabou | どろたぼう (Dorotabou) | Aburadako and The Stalin inspired Japanese punk band from Kobe, consisted of [a=Laukaus] and [a=Kruw] members. Active from 2004 to 2006. Dorotabou was formed while Laukaus was still active. The band members operated their own label [l=生存不能 レコード] (Seizon Funo Records). "Dorotabou "Kyomu no kukan" MCDR - The first track starts you off on a march reminiscent of the hard punk of The Stalin and the second track doesn't relent, but turns the march to high gear with the only break the chants of "ASA! HIRU! BAN!!" with a high-pitched scream reminiscent of Yokai from Laukaus/Kruw on their recent recordings. By "Niku" (not a Stalin cover) the listener gets a chance to slow down and shuffle their feet a bit into the fourth track, a downward spiral into madness, only broken by shouted-out gang vocals. Picture a Japanese Igyy Pop with his throng of devoted fans pumping their fists and working themselves into a frenzy by the end of the song - that's how this one goes. After five tracks of solid hard punk, you're treated to an Aburadako cover ("Erusaremu no kutsujyoku") that's done quite well. This one is recommended for fans of Aburadako, The Stalin, SS, and other classic Japanese bands before Gism took over and turned punk on its ear." (by Terminal Boredom) |

Dirty Old Town invites you into his world of americana and alternative country with personal songs about curiosity, lost love, unmanageable uncertainty and believing in a better tomorrow. His new album Beauty and Truth draws on inspiration from songwriters such as Ryan Adams, Bob Dylan & Neil Young, as opposed to the dirty and dusty expression from his own debutalbum. |

If it's not done there then it's during his night shift at a nearby roadside hotel. What is most noticeable about Tired Moth's outsider-style is the mysterious tones it takes through the combination of field recordings, lo-fi drum patterns, and fuzzy ambient guitar drones. It's all of that and more to create an outsider-art perspective on what could easily be an eerie score to any David Lynch production. |

This, together with [a=Los Caliope] (with María Elvira as singer [a=Elvira (13)]) were the pioneers in València in terms of student amateur youth music. In the first stage the group consisted of: [a=Juan Roberto González], piano; [a=Francisco Almarche] (Paco), as drums and vibraphone; [a=José Luis Berenguer], as clarinet and sax; [a=Cesar Penadés Camps], as lead guitar and vocals; [a=Salvador Prades] (Soro), as violin and double bass. In 1963 they were signed by the [l=Zafiro] label, which released their first album at the end of the same year with versions of hits such as 'L'Ecole Est Finie' by the French [a=Sheila (5)] or 'Let's Dance' by [a=Chris Montez]. A series of performances and interventions on different stations took them until the beginning of 1965, the date on which they released their second and last EP, also distributed in the form of two singles, a format that was already being imposed on a massive scale by then. Four songs under the recent rhythm called 'surf' and with titles like 'Drink Surf' or 'The Best Remedy'. After a while they became known as "Quinteto 8 Menos Quarto". Once again and as usual, the fulfillment of the military service ruined the continuity of the group. Grupo formado en los años 60 en València y valencianos todos sus componentes. Search | Add | 4 | Briars Frome | "Briars Frome"……. A small village in deepest Norfolk….nothing exceptional about it, just a few houses, a pub, the parish church….and the grand old Manor house “Briars Court” watching over it all…..nothing exceptional…..but for one thing…..it disappeared. …or rather, it was forgotten…no one went there and no one came from there. All memory of it in the surrounding villages began to fade and talk of it stopped, after a while it did not even appear on any signposts or maps of the area. All of this began in 1965, shortly after Ray and Ron Verne bought and moved into Briars Court. The Verne Brothers were a rock and roll sensation and with their new found wealth they decided to buy a country house where they could record and party and enjoy all the things that being a rock and roll star in the 60’s could bring… ….but The Verne Brothers are also forgotten… Now the road that once led to and from the village is overgrown, hidden, and the few cars that pass that way drive by unaware of what lies just beyond the heavy, dark treeline…. …..however, if you stand in the right place, at the right time, through the trees you can see the crumbling chimney stacks of the old Manor house and hear the dull sound of the old Church bell carried on the wind…..as the crows circle overhead….. ....people started to notice strange radio sounds and interference hidden at the extreme ranges of the dial...only heard in certain areas and at certain times unaware how close they were to the forgotten village...and unaware of the eyes watching and the hands reaching...

During this time, the Contemporània has developed a totally innovative way of making music (...). The live performances are characterised by the approach of a very diverse and heterogeneous public, from the children who are afraid of confetti, mothers and fathers, sardana lovers, the curious... Without a doubt, the Contemporània's "Sardaxou" leaves no one indifferent. "Sardaxou" is to make the sardana a party. Members and collaborators of the Contemporània take the best-known musical scores, arrange them to the rhythm and tempo characteristic of the sardana and perform them with the most unique instruments in the country." For example, there are Sardana-versions of well-known film music or the Radetzky March. *) A cobla is a Sardanes orchestra, consisting of 11 people with 10 wind instruments and one bass. Since the 1980s female musicians are also allowed in the coblas. Sardana (pl. Sardanes) is a Catalan musical genre typical of Catalan culture and danced in circle.

Search | Add | 4 | Manuel JdEM | Emanuele Misurina | Manuel JdEM was born in Pinerolo (Italy) on 27 th October 1986 and since his first years he showed a great interest in music and a natural feeling with it. When he was 10 years old he began to study music: piano and then clarinet. When he was 15 he bought his first vinyl. His talent was imminent and he had no problem in acquiring mixing skills and, in a few time, he began to spin his dj set, that was a 360° dance/club set, in several clubs. In 2004, he decided to leave House music selections and he devoted himself to Hardstyle music. In this year, he won a djing competition, which was organized at Guell Disco in S. Secondo di Pinerolo (Italy). In the beginning of 2005, Fusion staff was born: a staff, who organizes parties on Sunday afternoon at “Le Cinemà” Disco, in Roletto (TO - it), where he's still resident dj and Booking Manager. In 2005 he became part of Parhasar Staff, so he worked at Altavista (ex Cellophane) in Rimini, Domina in Toirano (SV), GOA in Avigliana (TO), DUE in Cigliano (VC), at Sundance Festival in Biella, Ultimo Impero Discotempio in Magliano Alpi (CN), Vogue Disco in Castelsardo (SS), L'Acropol in Paris - France and The Emporium in Coalville Leicestershire UK. Manuel is also the founder, with DJ Vortex, of Hardforum ( www.hardforum.org ), born in the beginning of 2005, which is a very important meeting point for Italian hardstylers. It creates a direct link between the audience and dj/producers. In 2005 Manuel JdEM has his “musical birth” and he spins his dj set on the best dance floors in north Italy . His live sets are appreciated for variety and musical selection concerning Hardstyle, Italian Style, Hardtrance and Jumpstyle. In his dj sets you can listen also to his personal tracks, which he produces in his personal music studio. |
