Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Make room!”). [EN] Soylent Green Project proposes a live musical experience that goes up or audiences through different imaxinary planes thanks to the atmosphere that creates two themes in each one. Pure energy gives distortion of a rock song with a two-sixty airs, to a dark and intoxicating blues; dunha progressive fish that harmonizes the telluric history of Chicxulub, ao they are futuristic of Little Tokio; A powerful, heavy riff that sings a Brontosaurus to a swing-tinged groove in honor of Panxea. Get hooked, of course, with precise and precious solos from each of two members, especially the great Galician guitarist Óscar Insua "Jumpin". A different instrumental proposal. Unha proposta, instrumental, diferente. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Adem Jaffers | Adem Jaffers | VJ and multimedia artist from Australia. With a background in B&W photography, Adem was first introduced to video art during the production of the music videos by MaxQ ("Monday By Satellite") and Third Eye ("Real Thing" and "Pray"). This inspiration made Adem pursue experimental digital art himself. Initially via an Amiga-500 computer, then video-feedback. He expanded his video art repertoire to incorporate intelligent lighting, laser and lego robotics. Fusing these mediums into dynamic illuminated projection design. Other incidental offshoot mediums included recycled material sculpture, print design & t-shirts. A culmination of years of experimentation in these various mediums informed the creation of the iSOtope144 vj performance map using the UT game engine. Adem has performed at television studios, galleries, and rave and party spaces. In the late nineties he also ventured into 3D animation for commercial art in its various forms. Besides VJ Mandala since 1998 he previously used the aliases "Nuero" ('88-'91) and "Tekno Mandala" ('91-'98). |

| Search | Add | 3 | Politicize | Farid Ahmed | Philadelphia is a place known for many things pertaining to the history of America. As of recent years entertainment has been a huge part of the cities identity making characters like “Rocky” a household name recognized on a worldwide level. It doesn’t stop with film, as music is also implanted deep into the cities roots. Enter the Philadelphia known to a young man named Farid Ahmed who is very proud to be of Pakistani and Indian decent. Farid had a nice life at home, was loved by his family greatly. School however was another story. “I was loved at home but was tortured at school. Sunday night was always the worst because I knew I had to go to school the next morning.” During his senior year in high school, Farid began to educate himself on the history of the Muslim world. Having traveled the globe from Pakistan to India, France, England, Mexico, Spain, Scotland, the Caribbean, Canada, Italy and many other locations, Farid learned about how unfortunately the differences between us that should unite seemed to divide more often than not. It was this realization along with his own experiences led him to create what is now known as an up and coming rap warrior, Politicize. Previously performing under the name Political Assasin, Farid has only been at it for a few years accomplishing more than what many have taken entire careers to do. Some of his highlights include: “Performing in front of large crowds, working with the likes of: Gillie Da Kid, Hush, Spice-1, having his music featured on several compilations and mixtapes including We Run The Streets mixtapes and being featured on the cover alongside Philly native Beani Sigel. His track “Restless” featuring Gillie Da kid was also featured on the We Run the Streets: Gillie Da Kid addition mixtape. His track “Drinkin on the Limca” was remixed and became the highest played song on the 770 Nin-Jah Lions 12 Tribes Street Vibes Mixtape which beat out re-mixes of songs by: Insane Clown Posse and Bizzy Bone to name a few. He also had a meeting with Thomas Lytle, VP of promotions at Def Jam Recordings.” Politicize was invited to perform at the 2012 Gathering of the Juggalos. Apart from his love for music and producing his own songs, he has also been successful as a graphic designer creating banners for Ryan Dawson’s website called Anti-Neocons. Apart from Assasin’s ability to write creatively in his music, he has also written editorials for Sports websites such as Sports Kings and Bleacher Report being and avid fan and practitioner of boxing for many years. He has also ventured outside of the US to promote his music being on Radio Fm Karachi in Pakistan with RJ Ali Anwar were he recorded a track in his native language Urdu for the show. Those are just a few of the many accomplishments of the short career that Politicize has already been blessed to have. His catalog thus far includes 3 mixtapes and one prolific album “Built from Struggle” received much press which included a 4.5 rating in Iconic rap publication Murder Dog Magazine. The album is currently sold on cd universe, iTunes, amazon, and cdbaby. The same publication also interviewed him as well as Down Magazine out of Washington State. At a time when Political rap is not well received because of the watered down mainstream monopoly, Farid has been able to capture an audience with his brand of reality-based rap which is sure to strike a nerve with anyone who has been through any kind of struggle. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Easy Morph | Born in Rouen, Normandy, the duo Easy Morph used to make people dance in clubs before they were even allowed to get in. Together since the age of 12, the duo experienced some emulation among themselves which led them to explore the genres of electronic music, and especially techno. The logical consequence was the creation of the duo a few years later in order to exploit this connection, at first for dj sets and then for production. In their sets as in their production, they like to hear the rolling sub and the kick on time, a powerful and compelling binary techno punctuated by dark soundscapes, sometimes melancholic accompanied by saturated synths brushing against acidity. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | nonE_PT | Nuno Santos | Born and raised in Portugal, since he was young, nonE started using the universe of music as one of his favorite playgrounds. His sister had a huge collection of vinyl records and CD albums, and having access to her music triggered something in him to understand and enjoy music. In his teenager years, he found himself in the universe of rap music and he embraced the urban tribe of hip-hop culture. His world opened to electronic music with “Spastik” from “Plastikman” (aka Sir Richie Hawtin). This was the record that make him want to find out more about electronic music. Since then, djing and music production was just a matter of time. He took his first steps into djing and music production in 2005. After moving to Copenhagen, in 2013, the electronic music universe is still part of his lifestyle. nonE has a special taste for the beauty of melodies and the melancholic shades of inner self emotions attached to techno and house music. Owner and founder of Kohomoop Records, he started to release his own music in 2019. [b]nonE_PT[/b] |

| Search | Add | 3 | Hellhumm | Hellhumm is a band formed by Sergio Torroba, a musician with extensive experience in other bands, along with actor Ignacio Ysasi, who was later joined by Javier Calvo. Their music falls within the realm of EBM, dark electronica, and melancholic, nostalgic synthpop, achieving a perfect fusion. A few years after their formation, the band released their first album, "Random Damage Industry," a collection of 11 songs that explore human relationships as something as addictive as it is pernicious. The album was very well received in various countries, especially in Germany, where the first edition sold out, prompting the release of a second. To promote the album, the band toured with the legendary German band And One (Sturm Promotions) in Madrid in December 2018. Their energetic concerts leave no one indifferent. Currently, the band is already working on their new album. HELLHUMM: Ignacio Ysasi: Singer, composer, lyrics. Sergio Torroba: Composer, synthesizers, drummer. Javier Calvo: Programming, composer, keyboardist. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Urs Boeschenstein | Swiss musician, songwriter and teacher, born 1935. Lives now in Italy, Rancone at the Lago Maggiore. About his musical career in his own words: The earliest recordings date back to 1964 and 1966 when I did my first TV show (together with [a3130597]). Our first program was called "STRAMPEDEMI". Its titlesong is a "Lanzknechtlied" - a song of the Swiss mercenary soldiers that fought for the pope in Italy in the 16th century. From 1966-1972 I was a program editor at RADIO ZÜRICH, the Zürich Studio of the SWISS RADIO CORPORATION. From 1972-1979 I wrote and composed my own songs. I was a "Liedermacher", a songmaker. I performed in small theatres all over Europe, in Switzerland, Germany, France and England. I also recorded some of my songs for Radio and Television. In 1979 I started to play medieval instruments: hurdy-gurdy, bagpipes, threehole pipes, rebec, fiddle, citern, mandora, tambourin. I tried to revive songs and music of the minstrels, troubadours and minnesingers of the 13th century. In 2000, at the age of 65years, I had to stop playing concerts. | |

At the age of 19, Roma auditioned and was hired by the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, one of the world's best orchestras, under the direction, at that time, of the famous Eugene Mravinsky. After playing there for many years, Roma became the Principal Double Bass in the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra. In 1980, Roma, together with his family, left the Soviet Union and came to live in the USA. | Search | Add | 3 | HUMANITIES | Toronto art-damaged hardcore. Exploring some of the strange terrain in this world of techno-alienation, HUMANITIES' debut EP focuses on our all too familiar, yet strange relationships with things like social media and communicative labour, and our dependence on various technologies and institutions in sharing our experiences with others in the world. The imagery and themes are related to our collective efforts — and failures — at communication and community. It opens with the driving post-hardcore sound of “Century of the Selfie,” a bitter meditation on the false promises of social media and connectivity, and then moves through the claustrophobia of “Come Outside” formed from varying strands of punk and hardcore. The dystopic visions of work and leisure in “Belly Full of Fear” combine with noisy, dense guitars that shine with a dissonant melody. The EP concludes with the somewhat more optimistic, yet crushing dirge rock of “Your Dreams are My Dreams,” a song that finds a certain communicative and creative possibility in that apparently most solitary, and unproductive, activity: dreaming. Through dreams we find a shared energy that runs deeply into the individual, seeping into it and pushing out beyond it, into others and to the world. | Search | Add | 3 | BeyonDévon | Over the years and in throughout the bands many logos the band has stylized their name as BeyonDévon, Beyon Dévon, and Beyon Devon. The most common variation (used on the "A Step Beyon" demo, their 1991 T-shirts, and multiple band logos) is the one-word version, BeyonDévon. Formed in 1988, originally as a cover band. But by early 1989 they had begun writing their own original songs, the first being "Endless Journey" and "Tripsis". Soon after this though, they split with drummer Keith Porter, singer Brian Miller, and guitarist John Stafford. After this they assembled a new lineup and dropped all cover songs, going all-original. The new lineup, fronted by former-Breaker/Blue Steel/Emperor singer Steve Russell, broke out into the Cleveland Metal scene with constant live shows, quickly expanding on the already sizeable following built by the early lineup. They played frequently with Autumn's Ruin, Lanz End, Andromeda, Medalyon, Mercury, Vatican, New Régime, Bison, Donatello and many more. They also played with numerous national acts such as Vicious Rumors, Manowar, Blue Oyster Cult, The Godz, and more. During this time they released their debut demo, "A Step Beyon", in 1990 which has since become extremely rare. Soon after the release of the demo, however, they began to take their music in a much more Progressive direction, citing influences such as "No Exit" era Fates Warning, Crimson Glory, early Queensrÿche, etc. They independently recorded 5 of these new songs on 8-tracks, creating a second demo, and planning to record these, in addition to two others in studio to record their debut album, whose title had not been decided yet. The album would have included the 5 demo songs, "Never the Same", "Live to Die" "Revelations", "Way of the World", "Edens Fall" and others, as well as "One Way Love" and "Angel". While in the studio in 1991, however, BeyonDévon disbanded and the album was never completed, the songs that were finished remain unreleased. Steve Russell and Christopher Michael went on to co-found the Scorpions tribute band Lovedrive in 1991, which Russell recently re-activated, while Steve went on to Theater of Madness and Chris rejoined Keith Porter in Shadowplay. Brian Miller went on to sing for Amon-Ra and Prodigy. Chris later rejoined John Stafford in Twist of Fate. Dave and Rick Rasicci, Brian Berisford, and John Stafford would also go onto play in Moments of Brilliance, before and David and John continued together in the multi-genre-spanning Groove/Nu-metal/Hard Rock/Alternative/Grunge band Thirteen in the 2000s. | |
