Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Spacedays | Spacedays are a rock band from Singapore. Founded in 2009, their compositions bear close associations to the late 1960s psychedelic music subcultures. Audiences have also drawn close parallels to American garage rock bands. Although, their sonic affinities lie with music subcultures abroad, lyrically, Rahmat "Mamat" Suliman (vocals/keyboards/guitar) writes about daily experiences and relationships in the urban confines of Singapore. “Some days we just need some space to observe and to reflect,” he muses. Having released the debut psychedelic garage rock LP, Is It In The Circle?, as a two-piece alongside co-founder and long time collaborator, Shakir "Shaks" Samat (drums) in January 2013, Mamat roped in Zaki Shariff (keyboards) and Mohamed Hanis (bass) to expand their repertoire and explore their self-proclaimed “psychedelic groove rock” genre characterized by a guitar-driven sonic space complemented by the added textures of the “cosmic” upper registers of the keyboards. The band released Moondust, the band's second EP, in February 2014 as part of a collaboration project with Lomography Blue Hour Sessions, The Rockstar Collective (RSC), graphic designer Djohan Hanapi and visual projection artist Wu Jun Han. The EP was launched to a crowded Home Club audience on 21 Feb 2014.

Search | Add | 3 | Leikfélag MH | Leikfélag MH | This production of The Rocky Horror Show was put on by a group of college students at Menntaskólinn við Hamrahlíð ("MH") in Reykjavík, Iceland in 1991. The entirety of the album is in Icelandic, translated by Veturliði Guðnason. Four years later another production would be put on in Reykjavík, this time by a professional theatre company at Flugfélagið Loftur Theatre. Almost all of the same translations would be used though, with the singular exception of "Laugardagskvöld" (Hot Patootie) which was completely reimagined as an ode to death metal instead. The 1991 version is more traditional, with Eddie playing his "saxófónninn" and really loving that "rokk og ról". The 1995 Icelandic cast put out a cast album also. Search | Add | 3 | 6head_Slug | Gregg Paternoster | 6head_slug is a Melbourne based hard techno DJ/Producer/Promoter and label owner, who has been bringing his own unique blend of hard and funky beats to Melbourne’s dance floors over the past 9 years. The beat of the drum and his love for music has driven him from a young age, although It wasn’t until 2004 when he brought a set of turntables and his first few records, did he realise it was what he wanted to do with his life. Since then he has been refining his sound, and pushing forward in the hope of inspiring others, preaching that ‘you don’t need to change who you are to fit in to this world…’ In June of 2008 he started: “No sleep till bedtime…” A series of parties catering for the harder styles of dance music, which has since played host to some of Melbourne’s best local talent, and special guest DJ’s. 2014 see’s 6head_slug more focused than ever, as he looks forward to the coming year ahead and all that it brings! |

Search | Add | 3 | Stephanie Brickey | Saint Louis, Missouri Stephanie Brickey: vocals. acoustic guitar, national guitar. Dave Brickey: bass and backing vocals. Gary Hunt: electric guitars, mandolin, dobro. Jack Petracek: drums. Successfully mixing modern folk lyricism with straight-ahead pop/rock arrangements and an Americana sensibility, Stephanie Brickey has come up with a distinct sound of her own. She calls on her diverse musical influences to embellish the traditional folk song and to keep the crowd moving with timeless, stand-out rock performances. Brickey has the ability to grind out a crowd-pleasing, high-octane rocker and then follow it with an irresistible lullaby so hauntingly beautiful it may leave you in tears. Brickey’s vocals complement the songs in a way that seems to accentuate the instrumental accompaniment rather than overshadow it, with a voice that’s somewhere between Margo Timmins and Linda Thompson. Brickey has been highly visible on the St. Louis music scene for some time performing as solo artist, as a member of SLIM (along with Lynn Reif and Mary Alice Wood) and as the frontperson for A Room Away. Stephanie Brickey’s sound is infectious and unique. Her songs are timeless, smart and alluring.

Search | Add | 3 | Mister Drey | Born and raised in the outskirts of Bologna (Granarolo), Mr. Drey was, (and it's a pity when this is not remembered), an enfant prodige of the teen punk scene (with No Hope) and with the ska/reggae/high school rocksteady (Urka, Explanation of Palmas). The notoriety of these bands brought him no lucky occasions nor any good. Gradually isolating himself from the musical scenes of the time (due to continuous inevitable and urgent approaches to the revolutionary theory), he became uninterested in the musical production until the fortuitous listening (on night-time local radio stations) to avantguarde sounds, appreciated especially for their hypnotic power. This led him to the first autonomous composition experiments, resulting in various half hour simil-ambient composition cassetes of which no one will ever know anything about. One of these is another young granarolese outsider, Mattia (now the owner of Niggaville), with whom home recordings are started to pass the time, and which will introduce him to one of the first formations of SLP, period which he practically doesn't remember at all. After having again disappeared due to trying to live as Theodore Kaczynski, he accidentally resumes touch with SLP and begins rehearsing with them at the XM24 test room. There will also be a parallel and brief (but magical) intermission with Dadatzara Kamagauna ( together with the already known Mattia and with Davide, the current SLP bass player). SLP will move ever so fast towards the making of Studio Album, which will see him engaged behind the skins. But a little after this seminal recording, he again slowly disappears (together with Derek Dick Decio) to try to live as William Burroughs. Discouraged and semi-isolated he again begins working on his own material and discovers the use of the laptop and of Audacity, which will bring him to sporadic and expected imitations of Christian Fennesz. Resuming touch with SLP he doesn't fortify his position in the band rather an alliance on higher theoretical positions almost never openly expressed. He no longer plays with SLP but he collaborates and his on friendly terms with them. He produces Derek Dick Decio's first disc and is part of Achievements. He likes melody, the beautiful one (or the stretched one) and only operates in this view. He would like to be like Fennesz and Tarentel together, but at the end he makes music only to learn how to better use the softwares and to be able to delete the pieces when he no longer likes them, that is after little time.
