Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | 'Sisterly Wanking | Founded as a duo by Shird Leopart and Ella Excèntrica in October 2009, 'Sisterly Wanking hurts the lines between the Prog, Leftfield and Musique Concrète genres. The pair has kept the project into an ameurist practice to avoid the obvious "cult-like following" program. Citing Stockhausen, Dome, The Residents & Throbbing Gristle as influences, 'Sisterly Wanking injects a dadaist mind into pieces otherwise doomed to loneliness, creating an interesting mix of post and proto but bright all inside. The music initially appears rather unbalanced, but finally reveals fully bashed-out tracks that are genuinely untouchable. | |

Tsilavina Ralaindimby, “Rain'tsi” or “Tsitsi” for close friends left to join the firmament at dawn on February 26, 2018. A great man, “Rain'tsi” always was, as much for his greatness of soul doubled of simplicity and her charisma as well as for her achievements in the socio-cultural, artistic and political fields, because Tsilavina Ralaindimby was a trained radio journalist, honing her skills within the Radio Cooperation Office ([l57784]) in France, from 1967 to 1969, responsible for communications for the Island Games in 1990, Minister of Communication in 1993 and Director of Communications for the Presidency of the Republic of Madagascar in 2014. Close to the popular class, he punctuates the twists and turns of society alongside of the [a3663613] troupe, for whom he became the main lyricist. Other great musical discoveries followed, such as the famous “Sivy Mahasaky” troupe for which he contributed to the formation, or [a500239], [a4356806], [a914067] and many others. In the same vein, he also composed for [a3750902] and remained a close collaborator of the [a914061] group for a long time. Many big names in the artistic, journalistic and even political world consider him their mentor, their friend, their big brother, to name only [a454538] or [a14146792] who recognize his passion, his creativity and also his perfectionism.

Born in New Jersey into a family of artists and musicians, Neff earned a BA degree from San Diego State University, and was raved about in the San Diego Reader as “head and shoulders above the Eno clones in his sophisticated use of harmonics, rhythms and synth voicing. His music is adventurous and lively ...Neff is a true improvisor and a reflexive expert at reacting to himself on tape. This one-man interactivity is compelling.”

| Search | Add | 3 | Mou Brasil | In the 2000s, Mou created the group “ Bahia Black ”, which stood out for its pioneering spirit in the concept of instrumental creation based on Afro-Bahian rhythms. Through compositional and experimental research based on the rhythms of candomblé, Mou was able to combine his work with an authorial value and explore its essence as an improviser. That same year, he spent four months in Hong Kong, where he played with Angelita Lee, Tady Lo and Eugene Pao . Mou started his contact with music from an early age in the environment of the BRASIL family , a traditional family of musicians from Bahia. Studied with Samuel Mota, Nicola Stilo and Hélio Delmiro at the age of 17, he already traced his professional life playing in the Jazz Carmo Quarteto group . Later he played in Cozinha Baiana and Raposa Velha , important groups of experimental instrumental music of the time. Later he participated in the still active Grupo Garagem for about five years, with which he recorded two albums and performed in Los Angeles and toured all over Brazil, with the participation of musicians such as Leo Gandelman and Heraldo do Monte . In search of a universalist sound, Mou Brasil traveled to different countries and lived in different cities. In 1990, he moved to Switzerland , where he lived for a year and played with Steve Thorton and pianist Jeff Gardner . The partnership with Jeff earned him the invitation to record his first solo album in 1992, on the French label Musidisc. Released in Paris, where the artist lived on occasion, The CD " Esperança " is essentially authorial and has the participation of musicians such as Jacques Morelenbaum, Sizão Machado, Jeff Gardner, Carlos Bala, Don Chacal, Fernando Moraes, Sizinho, Villa Lobos Quartet , Jorginho Gomes, Luiz Brasil and Marcos Lobo. The launch show took place at EuroDisney and was attended by Nelson Veras. In 1995, he moved to New York, where he lived for a year and played with Stefano Belmondo, Paulo Braga and Joannes Weiis Miller. Mou Brasil played with important names of instrumental music such as Marcio Montarroyos, Arthur Maia, Heraldo do Monte, Nivaldo Ornelas, Nelson Ayres, Steve Thorton, Jurim Moreira, Sidinho Moreira, Alain Jean Marie, Lula Nascimento and Anunciação. He accompanied important artists from the Brazilian scene. He played with Caetano Veloso on the tour of the album “ Fina Estampa ”, in a trio formed together with cellist Jacques Morelenbaum and percussionist Mingo Araújo (Spain and Italy). He accompanied Gal Costa for four years , alternating tours of the show “ Chico e Caetano ” and DVD “Acoustic” all over Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, United States, Spain, Israel, Japan and Portugal. With Virginia Rodrigues he was in Australia, Malaysia and the United States as the show “Sol Negro”. His discography includes participations withJoão Donato, Vinícius Cantuária, Gal Costa, Mauro Refosco, Arthur Maia, Jeff Gardner and Jussara Silveira, Tamanduá Group (Switzerland). Due to his long professional career, he has been invited to teach improvisation courses and workshops at Catholic Universities and Music Schools . Five years ago he created his quartet and has performed in important projects such as Segundas Musicais, Mercado Cultural and in shows alongside artists like Larry Corryel and Stanley Jordan , as well as directing works by artists from the independent scene. | |
