Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Meanwhile she pedaled through the sonatas of Beethoven on the piano and the music of Cole Porter as a vocalist. | Search | Add | 2 | Mannequin Porn | Bio on former label site: Formed by current and past Betty's Trash (Muffy, King James, Lady A, & Aunt Jackie) members in 2000, Mannequin Porn set out on their voyage to annoy the world with their etiquette of fashionable electro-rock goodness. Armed with keyboards, lipstick and a bad attitude, Mannequin Porn broke out onto the NYC electro rock scene ready to conquer all. In 2001 they delivered to the world the "One Plus One" EP! This instant basement make-out party classic offered commentary on almost every sub-culture and blunt verbal attacks on anyone who had angered Muffy or Aunt Jackie! Musically it offered an unique brand of electro-rock mixing punk, industrial, & gothic music over old school hip hop beats! Later that year Muffy and Aunt Jackie had a falling out and Muffy was kicked out of the band. So Jackie decided to give MP a makeover and she changed her name to "Veronica Void". In addition King James (who wrote all the music on "One Plus One") decided to step down as the MP songwriter to focus more on Betty's Trash. That left "Veronica" with all the vocal and songwriting responsibilities! The result was 2002's "Color By Numbers" EP which had a lackluster response from the press and MP fans. Shortly after the release of their second EP, Mannequin Porn was dropped from Princezz Ov Power and eventually broke up.

| Search | Add | 2 | Robopimp | In the year 2187 a renegade starship of robot rebels found its way into a time gate back to present day as their only way to escape persecution from unintelligent life forms. Trapped in our present time, but free of persecution, the band of robots spends their time making music to communicate with friendly beings in neighboring galaxies. The adventures of Robopimp can be told by many media formats and languages. The dangerous duo that makes Robopimp, David Rodriguez and Luis Diaz, met in the summer of 2001. The two immediately became friends and found many similarities in their personalities and musical ideas. Working together and making music was natural to them. Many songs were composed by the two before the comical name “Robopimp” was ever coined. Their way of working together is very effective. David works as the composer element, a slave to music pounding out new tracks and ideas everyday. Luis is the DJ/producer element, taking what David started and expanding upon that. Together they go many directions with their music, not really dedicated to any specific genre. They have many unique production techniques in both the analog and digital realms. Currently the Canary Islander-Luis, and the American-David, are celebrating their third release of the year. The group hopes to follow up with a tour of their one of a kind live performance. | |

We produce music for meditation, yoga, relaxation and binaural beats. We also produce concept albums with electronic music as well as experimental and danceable music. Numerous productions have been created under various project names in the last almost 30 years. The musical spectrum ranges across almost all genres. In order to implement various productions, three completely independent studio concepts have been set up in recent years, which enable the working methods of the last 60 years. There is an analogue studio in which the 60s and 70s are shown. Another working environment is for the 80's and 90's where digital synths and MIDI played a big role. The third concept is dedicated to the 2000s and is designed for purely virtual working methods. The whole orchestra in the laptop.

| Search | Add | 2 | Василий Семёнович Гроссман | Wassili Semjonowitsch Grossman | Vasily Semyonovich Grossman (Russian: Васи́лий Семёнович Гро́ссман; 12 December (29 November, Julian calendar) 1905 – 14 September 1964) was a Soviet writer and journalist. Born to a Jewish family in Ukraine, then part of the Russian Empire, Grossman trained as a chemical engineer at Moscow State University, earning the nickname Vasya-khimik ("Vasya the Chemist") because of his diligence as a student. Upon graduation he took a job in Stalino (now Donetsk) in the Donets Basin. In the 1930s he changed careers and began writing full-time, publishing a number of short stories and several novels. At the outbreak of the Second World War, he was engaged as a war correspondent by the Red Army newspaper Krasnaya Zvezda; he wrote first-hand accounts of the battles of Moscow, Stalingrad, Kursk, and Berlin. Grossman's eyewitness reports of a Nazi extermination camp, following the discovery of Treblinka, were among the earliest accounts of a Nazi death camp by a reporter. There is some dispute over the extent of the state repression Grossman endured after the war. While he was never arrested, his two major literary works (Life and Fate and Everything Flows) were censored by the Khrushchev government as unacceptably anti-Soviet. At the time of Grossman's death from stomach cancer in 1964, these books remained unreleased. Hidden copies were eventually smuggled out of the Soviet Union by a network of dissidents, including Andrei Sakharov and Vladimir Voinovich, and first published in the West in 1980, before appearing in the Soviet Union in 1988. |

| Search | Add | 2 | NordOst | The story of NordOst is long and short at the same time. Delen and Narco:Tixx being the producer masterminds oft the Double Breakz Soundsystem (DBS) established more than 10 years ago were responsible from the producer side together with Marcel Best for all releases made under this alias. Their first release in 2010, the 4 track „Rising E.P“ on Global Ritmico Breaks, a sister label oft he well known Label global Ritmico hosted by David Phillips was well respected by the german drum and bass scene. Collaborations with Marcel Best under the same alias resulted in the two-track release „Wormhunters/Earth on fire“ on the same label and the Remix of „Flesh and Sin“ by A virtual friend on Mouvance Records. They both took a two-year break while Narco:Tixx was still hosting the residency of the legendary Soulfire Sessions Nights Germany. In 2013 they released the two track EP World will change/OMFG on the well renowned Soulbros. Records label under the auspices of German Liquid Drum and Bass Don Rowpieces. While the Soulfire Night was slowly breaking down Narco:Tixx split up with his former Partner DJ Riddler and reunited with Delen in 2015 to form NordOst. Both coming from different directions they decided to spread their already diverse style of drum and bass music to a wider angel including new genres like bass music, footwork and wonky style. A complete new studio was built up from the ground and they invested quite a lot into new gear and software setting the technical basics for their new productions. Beeing in the studio for quite a while they started a collab with ReDraft und HP.Ritch from the Depth Range crew, an up and coming crew with releases on Terabyte Records and Vandal Records. Together they released the tune „Am I right“ on Vandal Records, which got heavy rotation by the likes of Ivy Lab, alex Perez and others. It also got featured on the best of Vandal compilation by the end of 2016 and on two best of beatport compilations. For 2017 an EP in the halftime/wonky genre is planned and a release of a 4 Track EP on the Soulbros recordings is already under way. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Art Ramasasa | Known as the "Blind Master of Waray-Waray Songs". Artist info: The handicapped who excel in their chosen careers never cease to amaze me. One whom I’ve personally met is Art Ramasasa, hailed the Blind Master of Waray Music. I remember following Papa’s lead, one dark evening, as we walked to Mr. Ramasasa’s simple yet functional house in Christina Heights. Mr. Ramasasa, at first sight, was the big guy, who, had I never been told, I would’ve taken for a normal person. He was wearing sunglasses and holding a stick to help him walk around. He spoke loudly. And if I remember well, he played his organ for us, at the request of my father, who, at that time, was doubtful if my sister and I really believed his heroic stories of the blind musician. The typical visitor, I only looked around, hardly speaking a word. Mr. Ramasasa’s daughter and only child Arlet—she must’ve noticed my sister and I’s silence—kindly invited us to her room, and there she let us hear her sing. Her voice was angelic though she denied it saying she only inherited it from her father. To be blind and yet able to play the organ like a pro, I thought, was awesome enough already. But to also have a sweet daughter who would follow your footsteps, I was envious of the blessings God has bestowed upon Mr. Ramasasa and his family. I had little knowledge of Mr. Ramasasa’s past back then. Later I realized Papa’s stories of the musician’s past, no matter how heroic they sounded, somehow were still injustices to the musician—maybe because Papa deliberately missed a few important details. Arturo Pajarilla Ramasasa is his real name. He was born on Borongan, Eastern Samar, the same as famous TV host Boy Abunda. Mr. Ramasasa was already eight when the bad eye defect hit him. He was already musically inclined before that though. By the age of 18, he had honed his skills enough to be able work for Aquarius Records. Back when he was a teenager, he was part of a popular band, performing in different occasions at different parts of their town. Soon he decided to leave the group and start his very own one-man band. He played all roles—organist, guitarist (left-handed), vocalist, lyricist, composer, arranger and recording artist. Truly, he is multi-talented. Mr. Ramasasa managed to record his music, mostly his own versions of traditional music in Eastern Visayas. Most loved were his Curacha and La Jota, having danceable tempos. These made him almost rival to Joseph Uy, who, before Ramasasa, almost monopolized the Waray music industry. Unlike Joseph Uy, however, whose music is serious, Mr. Ramasasa’s is humorous. Papa compares his style to Yoyoy Villame’s and Max Surban’s in Cebu. To date, Mr. Ramasasa has recorded over twenty albums and has made it to international recognition. He is also a pastor now, preaching behind the pulpit and leading the music ministry. He offered his house as a place of worship. His daughter is now a confident professional singer. Despite his disability, Mr. Ramasasa never grew bitter; instead, he learned to accept his condition and made it enough reason to strive harder. Due to his persistence, he has made himself better and more capable than most normal people. Art Ramasasa is just another one living proof that disabilities should not be taken as hindrances to success. I’m sure there are many more handicapped talents like him who are just waiting to be discovered. Hopefully, Mr. Ramasasa will be inspiration not only to them, but also to the normal people, all the more to the normal people. With bass man Giles they started playing the free festival circuit. When Rob and Giles went off on their own journey, Steve Higgins formed a new line-up with bass man Subs and drummer Richard Lanchester. They were joined by Eric on electric viola and later by Shanks on congas. The band continued to play the free festivals. In 1981, Rob returned on drums with Twink and Maz on synths and this was the start of Karmakanix. In 2001 Steve was introduced to Mike Howlett through producer John Leckie, and after a jam at Mike’s birthday party, House of Thandoy emerged, they were later joined by drummer Eddy Sayer, and made one album which features Theo Travis on flute and sax. In 2003 Steve Cassidy started playing drums with the band. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | AMA Jazz | Russian free jazz quartet (AMA Jazz stands for Association of Musicians of Avant-Garde), whose manner of performance naturally bring to mind the more famous Ganelin Trio, the USSR best-known contribution to Free Jazz. AMA has much in common with Ganelin. Their music (much of it not influenced by American jazz) is quite original, it is an amalgam of various trends of contemporary classical forms, indigenous folk music, and jazz. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Calligraphist | Calligraphist formerly known as Wordsmith is a young prospering underground hip-hop artist, described by some as a wonder kid, being given the gift of top notch lyricism. He is mostly recognizable for the usage of metaphors, similes, comparisons and his uttermost grotesque violent punchlines, considered by many as some of the best in rap history. Having started rapping at the age of 8, Calligraphist has managed to study and truly embrace the culture of hip-hop, understanding and appreciating its roots, founding fathers and customs. In the course of his path, he has collaborated with worldwide known emcees across the globe including acknowledged hip-hop legends & true heads. At the very beginning Calligraphist's notable delivery and impudent attitude expressed through his lyrics were occasionally compared to some of the best lyricists in the genre. | |
