Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Zanderman | Zanderman are a band of classic rock ‘n’ roll sensibilities with a contemporary twist. Their music is both emotive and uplifting combining soaring vocals with campfire melodies. Zanderman arose out of the ashes of the band ‘Addict’ in January 2000. After recording a radically different second album in New Orleans in summer ’99, working with Malcolm Burns and Emmy Lou Harris, Addict dissolved into a new musical direction and freedom and Zanderman was born. Along with a new bass player came a renewed sense of creative liberation. Drawing on influences as varied as Neil Young, the Beatles, The Byrds, Beck and REM six months were spent writing as the band dynamic evolved. The philosophy at the heart of the band is as important as the music; "collectively we are positive, optimistic people and we want to communicate this through our music. We want to unite people, to inspire them". Zanderman are: Mark Aston – Vocals Nikolaj Juel – Guitar Bastian Juel – Bass Luke Bullen – Drums | |

Search | Add | 2 | Sunni Nash | Sunny Nash | Sunny Nash began a music career at age 15 when she met Houston’s KYOK radio celebrity and media personality, George Nelson, who presented her a scholarship for winning the Miss Texas High Contest in 1965; she was a sophomore in high school. For her talent competition, she sang a medley of the 1964 R&B hit, ”Every Little Bit Hurts,” and the 1954 jazz standard, “Misty.” During the summer of 1966, George Nelson booked Nash to sing jazz and blues live on KYOK broadcasts with the Conrad Johnson Orchestra at the El Dorado Ballroom and Ray Barnett's Cinder Club with John Roberts and the Hurricanes. Nash shared Houston stages with blued-eyed soul singer, Roy Head, and R&B teen group, Archie Bell & the Drells. After she graduated high school in 1967, KTSA radio celebrity, Ricci Ware, arranged for Nash to audition for Abe Epstein Enterprises in San Antonio as a studio musician, background vocalist and recording artist. In 1968, Abe Epstein released Nash's country blues recording, “I Am Nothing Without You,” written by Ricky "Güero Polkas" Davila, then a songwriter for Epstein Studios and also a DJ at San Antonio's KEDA Radio Jalapeno, the nation's only conjunto radio station. Dubbed “Miss Soulsational” by Epstein, Nash was a Gulf Coast sensation from Texas to Florida singing a mix of blues, country and Tejano music. Nash went back to Houston in 1969 and got studio work writing, arranging and laying tracks, and singing in local nightclubs, and performing on ABC's "Dialing for Dollars," accompanied on piano by Paul Schmidtt. In 1972, Brunswick Records signed Nash as a studio musician, songwriter and recording artist. With Curtis Mayfield’s Super Fly soundtrack trio, headed by drummer, Quinton Joseph, Nash co-wrote and recorded “The 3rd Movement,” which now has a new generation of worldwide cult followers of old-school deep funk. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1977, Nash was a vocalist, keyboardist, percussionist and dancer with Johnny Nash’s 1978 “I Can See Clearly Now” tour of the British Isles. Nash worked with Odell Brown, Marvin Gaye’s music director and songwriting partner of “Let’s Get It On.” In 1990, Nash wrote, produced and scored a University of Texas film, “We Have Something To Say,” nominated for a Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award. The film’s theme song won Nash a People’s Choice Nomination for Best Song for a Sammy Davis Songwriting Award. Currently, Nash is producing a catalogue of her original, previously unpublished songs, some arranged by Terry Battle, including "Nothing Really Wrong," now on SoundCloud |

Search | Add | 2 | One Inch Men | Mario Bree, Gerben van der Aa, Harold Aling, Rob van Breugel, Jarno van Osch | One Inch Men are five guys from Tilburg (The Netherlands) producing stoner-metal. They started out in 2002 as a triplet, now evolved to a 5 piece heavy band. Their main sources of inspiration are the groovy sounds and musical impact of bands like Kyuss and Karma to Burn. Hence the name of the band, ‘One Inch Men’, which has been inspired by the Kyuss’ song One Inch Man. Contrary to what one might expect from the band’s name, One Inch Men’s music has evolved into a mix of heavy stoner-rock mixed with an increasingly manifest metal edge. Their grooving riffs are interlaced with the sound of bands like Alice in Chains and Velvet Revolver. Impact guaranteed, live as well as in the studio! Line-Up: Vocals - Mario Bree Guitar - Gerben van der Aa Guitar - Harold Aling Bass - Rob van Breugel Drums - Jarno van Osch |
