Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Mordum Terrorist | "Ever felt at peace with the clanging sound throbbing against your head? The music fades away to senseless, monotonous pandemonium. You risk going deaf, but you only live this life once despite having just a single pair of ears. You decide to allow a few more minutes of this mayhem and then you decide to surrender. Inspiration suddenly seems more important than preserving sanctity or sanity. Rationalization flies into dead oblivion as you are born again; in the same body, but with a different mind. They called rock 'the music of the devil', little realizing that all humans are inherently Satanic as they are divine. The same people that loved wars, manipulation and all that jazz! Maybe they were right; but in being right they neglected their deep yearning for chaos. The kind that appears to be premeditated and synchronized and is still beyond control. The love for chaos is a necessity. Without chaos, we tend to undermine the need for its less-conceited better half - peace. Yet chaos remains the evil twin, the neglected sheep(I have issues with the term 'black sheep'), like Cain, the cursed one. Again, Cain existed so that Able would be favoured. I don't love chaos. I merely respect it."

Search | Add | 4 | Katia Rocha | Katia Cunha Rocha | Kátia Rocha a brazilian instrumentist, composer and interpret, a more than 10-year-on-the-road artist. A peaceful born under Taurus woman, but a stage-energetic swing musician, Kátia has always had a very eclectic taste for music that ranges from Billie Holliday to “Gonzaguinha “, from “Milton Nascimento” to Jethro Tull. She started her studies on transversal flute during the times she coursed Physical Education in college and when she headed for Rio, she also studied singing, sax, acoustic guitar and musical harmony. Her history with the sax had already begun some years ago, when she got the instrument from her father, and that soon enough seemed awkward and the lady decided to sell it. Barely did she know that the sax would become her main musical instrument at the beginning of her career. In the 80’s, she took part in some bands as “Jogo de Cintura”, on a partnership with Ricco Duarte and as “Confusion Jazz Co.” – dedicated to instrumental music. The experience of The Confusion band was registered on a album that was released in 1992. In 1996, she decided to fly solo with her álbum “Kátia Rocha”, with musical arrangement by Leandro Braga and participations of Zé Renato and Elisa Lucinda, her co-writer for the song Espírito Santinho, one of the 10 songs in the album, which talks about the beauties of their homeland and has become one of the dearest songs for hometowners. The release of this album took place in Carlos Gomes Theatre, in Vitória, with the musical group Boca Livre, and also in Mistura Fina and cultural place for entertainment Sérgio Porto, in Rio de Janeiro, and on with a tour throughout the northwest part of the country, in the Pixinguinha Project with long-time singer João Nogueria, who passed away some years ago. |

Search | Add | 4 | HRPS | HRPS is a Norwegian band with roots in alternative punk, but with elements of scandirock, garage rock, heavy blues rock and desert rock. The band is known for energetic and over the top live shows. The frontman has been compared with GG Allin and Hank Von Hell, amongst others, because of his uncompromising and sometimes over the top appearance. Search | Add | 4 | Free Advertizement | Free Advertizement was an early brainchild of Korn Wall Us aka Matthew Wallace. Originally started to create remixes and learn production techniques, Free Advertizement soon began writing new original material. Later joined by Pete Za, the song "Pizza Mafia" was written and garnered some attention through DIY marketing and minor radio play on KMYZ's Home Groan radio show. After some time of inactivity, Pete Za was removed from the project and Korn Wall Us began collaborating with JdubC and Patrick Ward on a new album titled "Music Maker". The project was officially abandoned in 2009 when work began on new musical endeavors.

Search | Add | 4 | Dominic Margiotti | Dominic Margiotti | Dominic Margiotti is a recording artist from the U.S.. In 2011 he teamed up with co-writer Marc Abram to relesea their debut album, "The Pearly Gate Parade," which received glowing reviews from the indie community and found heavy rotation on non-comm and college radio. In 2016 the duo released "Always Everything," a mid/upbeat EP of innovative pop-rock songs. Their most recent 2022 Single, "My Kobayashi Maru" is a gritty, fast-paced song with garage-rock/punk undertones. Fans of the Star Trek series will immediately recognize the track's name, which refers to a test given to its ship's captains... but in pop-culture, has since become synonymous with a "no-win scenario." Margiotti is an ASCAP member and currently writes and records music for tv, movies and video-games. |

Search | Add | 4 | The Swamp Salad | Dave Donovan began his career in NZ playing alongside Mike Perjanik in several popular local acts before moving to Sydney in the late 60's. As an in demand session guitarist during the 70's he played with the cream of Australia's entertainment world including John Farnham, Don Lane and Marty Rhone. He appeared on more than 200 albums and played on over 8000 commercial jingles. In 1971 he stepped out on his own cutting the album On The Country Line as Swamp Salad, putting together prolific sessionmen plus vocalist Christine Barnett. This may well have been intended as a country/rock cash-in, however, the final result was nothing of the kind. Covers of ‘Witchita Lineman’ and ‘Ode To Billy Joe’ fit the ‘country’ tag well enough, but much of the rest is bluesy underground rock jamming covered in fuzz guitar and owing a heavy debt to Jimi Hendrix. The album is known with two different covers: one with a black-and-white band photograph and the other with a much more attractive full-colour psychedelic painting.

Search | Add | 4 | Cori Brewster | Cori Brewster was born and raised in Banff, the Rocky Mountain resort town in Alberta, where the Brewster family has resided for over 120 years. She began singing with her mom and sisters on Rocky Mountain trail rides. Like all young women do, Cori left home to experience life outside this small town, carrying with her that profound `sense of place’ wherever she went. Brewster entered Red Deer College to study Physical Education but after graduating from University of Alberta, with a Bachelor of Physical Education, the pull of music was tugging at her soul. Cori moved to Winnipeg to begin her journey, recording her first singles that began her foray into country music. Several of Cori’s singles achieved chart topping success. In 1994, Cori hit the ground running with the release of `One More Mountain’. With appearances at the Calgary Stampede, The Tommy Hunter Show, Merritt Country Festival,Whistler Roots Festival and many hours on the road, `One More Mountain’ was a hit. With a successful tour of Germany, an official showcase at SXSW and a nomination for female artist of the year by the Alberta Recording Industry recognition as a singer songwriter solidified. The response for her video’s, `Spin on a Red Brick Floor’ and `Good as Gone’ was great, both achieved high rotation on CMT and Country Beat. Cori’s commitment to the music industry was cemented. `Buffalo Street’ Cori’s 4th CD reflect her continuing commitment to the craft of songwriting and attention to detail that so effectively evokes a time, a sense of place, a character and of course a range of emotion. `Buffalo Street’ is a collection of beautiful stories inspired by the rich history of the Canadian Rockies and its people. Songs cover a diverse range of subjects and characters from the personal to the historical and from the genealogical to geographical. [excerpts from http://coribrewster.com/bio.pdf]

Search | Add | 4 | Southern Kartel | Southern Kartel is a group from Pine Bluff, AR. It consists of Smoke, Black Trump, K.O. and C-Rupt. As The World Goes Round is their debut album and it was released in 2001 on Black Trump Entertainment. Production on the album is smoothly done by Trump and Ace. The beats are a perfect example of southern fried funk at its finest. They contain various melodies mixed with jamming hooks and solid bass lines. The lyrics are excellent as well. All four members unquestionably shine on the mic. Their rhymes are deeply rooted and certainly eclectic. Guest appearances are made by Hawk of the Screwed Up Click, Playa Fly, Mo-Preme of Thug Life, Ronnie Spencer and Bobby Baller. Overall the record is a representation of timeless quality music. It is highly under rated and it does not get the credit it deserves. The group later separated over creative differences and this ended up being their only album. Members Smoke, Trump and K.O. have also released some solo albums as well
