Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 10 | Neanox | The project called "Neanox", was another creation of Anton Komanov, guitarist and founder of the band "Skolopendrra". Idea to record atmospheric and with beautiful music came from Anton in summer 2012. From June to October of this year have been recorded four tracks for the debut demo, called "Vacuum". Party of all instruments to him were recorded on "N.E.A studio". In the recording a demo and participated bandmate Denis Trubin after working on drums and participated in the writing of one of tracks. Music of the project is atmospheric and melancholic post-rock with elements of ambient and post-metal. Worth noting and the fact that "Neanox" may be perceived as a soundtrack to any film ever. Acoustic fingering roulades, filled with sadness, some keyboards and atmospheric, drawn-party solo guitar - music, forcing to close eyes and carry away the consciousness away... Neanox: Anton Komanov (guitar, bass, composer) Denis Trubin (drums) Date of formation: June 2012

Search | Add | 10 | Professor Moses Hadas | Although he was known as a quiet, even shy man, Moses Hadas made his presence felt at the College as a prolific scholar and as one of the College's truly great teachers. A classicist by training, he began teaching as an instructor in the General Honors course in 1925, and except for brief service in the Office of Strategic Services during World War II, he stayed at Columbia for the rest of his career, remaining one of the College's most sought-after teachers until his death in 1966. Born in Atlanta, Hadas received his bachelor's degree from Emory University in 1922, and came to Columbia to do advanced work in Greek and Latin literature. Even as his own academic accomplishments mounted, Hadas continued to embrace undergraduate education. After teaching General Honors, he taught the Colloquium on Important Books; he was one of the original teachers of Humanities A and continued to teach it for years. It was said of Hadas that he "always had enough time to discuss anything of humane interest with the demanding young." Early on Hadas won recognition as a gifted scholar, not only of Greek and Latin, but also of Hebrew and Arabic. A colleague once remarked that Hadas knew most classical authors "as if he had just met them at a faculty meeting." Among his distinguished books on classical culture were A History of Greek Literature (1950) and Humanism: The Greek Ideal and Its Survival (1960); he translated Greek, Latin, and Hebrew texts; and he edited many other volumes.

Search | Add | 10 | Somnus Corp | Beto Rodriguez, Gabriel Sordo, Jorge Lopez | Somnus Corp were formed in 2000 in Guadalajara Mexico and was driven by the solid and deep friendship of Beto Rodriguez, Gabriel Sordo and Jorge Lopez. They started to make a noise in the underground scene of Guadalajara for the remixes they did for local bands like "Sussie 4" and "Telefunka". They also became known for their live performances and reworks by their live alter ego's "Oceano 303", "Forward" and "Jorge". Beto Rodriguez has more than 13 years experience in DJ residencies in almost every major night club in guadalajara where he has been an essential component in promoting house music into the city. Jorge Lopez, with half of his life in the late 80's playing in new wave & new romantic bands, got the house music bug when he finally discovered the other side of music, house music. Gabriel with just 6 years as a DJ has already become one of the best 5 DJ's in his genre around Mexico, with residencies all over the country with Moshic and Randall Jones. He has already shared the decks with some of the biggest names in the business such as Sander Kleinenberg, Sasha, John Digweed, Danny Howells, Chris Fortier, Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, Nick Warren, Jimmy Van M, Steve Porter and Lee Burridge to name a few. Their music has been regularly supported and charted by the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren , Sander Kleinenberg, Kosmas Epsilon , Chris Salt , Moshic and Derek Howell. |

Search | Add | 10 | Michael Moxham | Michael Moxham | Born on July 25, 1978 in Cooperstown, NY, Michael Moxham was musically inclined for the very beginning. As a small child, he would spend hours in front of his parents’ 8 track or turntables, fiddling with the dials on the car radio, or enjoying his favorite toy, the Fisher Price record player. As time passed this passion only grew, and while the equipment evolved, the essence remained the same. By 17, Saint Michael was known as one of the DC area’s premier up and coming junglists and played weekly at events up and down the East Coast. He soon became interested in scratching/turntablism and SaintMic/ST/MiC was born, blessing the microphone with lyricism, while still remaining firmly ensconced in production and work behind the wheels of steel. By the mid 2000’s, ST/MiC had a number of regular gigs both on the tables and the mic in the DMV area, including a weekly in Fredericksburg, as well as frequent spots at Jessie Tittsworth’s now legendary Krunk events. From ’04-’06, there were frequent collaborations, production for other artists, and the release of several EPs, including those of friends Jazz Addixx. 2009 and 10 would prove equally busy with releases on DigiCrates Records, Japan’s Libyus Music (alongside artists like Nujabes and Fat Jon), and production and engineering credits including Moka Only, Muneshine, Has-Lo and many other well known artists in the indie hip hop scene. In 2011, Mike’s musical explorations took him down yet another new avenue. Having just finished hosting a 52 episode underground hip hop and beat phantasmagoria radio show series , Scrunch Face, Mike adopted a new moniker, SaintLike, to match the new direction. With his very first dubstep remix winning a remix contest for French producer LaTourette and landing on an EP on Beatport in early 2012, the rest of the year would bring more sonic noodlings into the deeper side of bass. As part of the One Love Massive collective, SaintLike continues to bring his genre-defying, “let’s push things forward” sounds to the aurally-inclined. His prolific release schedule continues to bless the mic and pay homage to subwoofer science. |

The first songs he began to write while still at school, the first group with which he began to work at that time was Orient Express. After graduating from school, Andrey Shkolin entered the Krasnoyarsk Civil Engineering Institute. In 1988, as the leader of the Siberian Link group, in 1989 he recorded the album "You drink, brother, drink!" in the studio of Slava Medyanik, then in 1992 the album "Crazy Organ Grinder" was recorded. In mid-1992, Andrey Shkolin ended up in a prison in the city of Voronezh, where in cell No. IZ 31/1 a new album “Indian Summer Flirts” was written in a year, which included the song that became the artist’s “calling card” - “Silence Over the Voronezh Prison” . Released in 1993, he records the album “Indian Summer Flirts” and sends it to Moscow, from where it diverges throughout the country. From 1993 to 1999, Andrei Shkolin lived in Western Europe, where he did not study music. In 1999 he returned to Russia, to Krasnoyarsk, where he recorded the album "Comrade Lebed, you are a great scientist", which was not distributed. In 2001, he finished recording the album "You will put your hands on my shoulders." In 2002, a double disc “In a good hour” was released in Moscow and Andrei Shkolin moved to Moscow for permanent residence. In 2003, the album "Siberia" was released. In 2004, Andrey opens his own label "Master Disc Records" and releases a new album. In 2005 he published the magazine "Chanson - free song". |

Search | Add | 10 | Len Maxwell | Lenny Maxwell | American comedian, voice actor and announcer. Born: August 8, 1930 in Inglewood, California. Died: May 13, 2008 in Los Angeles, California. Stand-up comedian on his early career, he appeared on The Tonight Show several times, a CBS special called, The Nut House and an NBC special called The Future Lies Ahead while also appearing in night clubs and theaters in Las Vegas, New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles with entertainers including Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Lena Horne, Ella Fitzgerald to name but a few. During this time, he dabbled in management, helping to launch Neil Sedaka's solo career.[1] At an engagement at New York's Copacabana, a producer for an advertising agency approached Len and asked him if he would be willing to do some of the voices in his act on a series of commercials. Len agreed. Two weeks later, when he received a check for the few hours of what was an easy and enjoyable experience, Len was shocked at the large amount of the check. He called the advertising agency, saying there had to be some mistake. They said they would look into it. Two days later, a representative of the agency called back and apologized for the error and said they would send Len the rest. It was at that moment that Len decided to make voice-overs his career. During Len's career in voice-overs, he recorded over 25,000 commercials, including the voice for "Punchy" the iconic Hawaiian Punch mascot - plus dozens of animated cartoons, and voice-overs in motion pictures. Len won the advertising industry's coveted CLIO award for best voice-over actor/announcer. He co-wrote and co-produced the short animated film The Crunch Bird in which he did all five voices. The film won the Academy Award for best animated short. He also directed the sound track for the film. He also provided several voices for the 1970 Christmas animated special, The Night the Animals Talked. He supplied the voices of Karate and The Chief in the children's cartoon series Batfink, and the judge in the animated feature Hugo the Hippo. Len wrote some comedy with Woody Allen. He appeared with Allen on screen in Allen ’s What's Up Tiger Lily, and did the voices of most of the main characters in that film. Voice-overs in Allen’s Take the Money and Run and Sleeper followed. He and Allen remained friends until his death. He was also the voice of the color analyst Nick Diamond in the MTV animated series Celebrity Deathmatch from 1998-2002. He was credited in most episodes as Barry Manos. In 1964, Maxwell released the Christmas/Monster-themed LP, "A Merry Monster Christmas". This album entertained families for decades with its head-on collision of classic movie monsters with traditional Christmas observances. The album became difficult to find until Maxwell updated and re-released it on CD in 2005. |

He's a Polish artist tranferred in Italy from the age of six years. He founded in 1991 with David Saggiorato the Kor-at, group of industrial music experiences in which he plays percussions. The band does some concerts and does soundtrack of the remake of the film of David Lynch “Eraserhead”, realized by a Turin independent film maker. Unfortunately recordings of that period do not exist. In 1992 he left Kor-at and he recorded the first solo job with the name of Glockenspiel, published like demotape. In 1993 he founded BIANCA BELMONT with Alberto Pasino. The band, been born like duo, increases to five elements in 1995, with Renzo Razzano on second bass, Marcello Turco on trumpet and Max to the saxophone. They recorded two demotapes, respectively in 1993 and 1995, both remastereded in the end of 1995,and edited dy Setola di Maiale. Between 1997 and 1998 he recorded and published the first “homely deliriums” with the name of PENTLICZEK, using ethnic percussions, self builded instruments, guitars and tapes. he participated with this project in some compilations of the sicilian label Snowdonia: “Orchestre Meccaniche Italiane” (1997), “Sbim Sbam” (1998), “International Gluttons” (1999). In 1998 he began a collaboration stably with Stefano Giust and his SETOLA DI MAIALE label, he defines Stefano: the “better companion to sonic deviating lines” and with him he founded the "anti-jazz" project called GBUR. In the recording of the first job of Gbur, beside the two members of Bianca Belmont (Renzo and Marcello), joins Paul Caleo. In 1999 the original line up always changes and in place of Renzo and Marcello there was three new elements: Ivan Pilat to tenor and baritone saxes,Daniel “el desviado reverendo surrealista” Pagliero, also knows like LO DEV ALM to the electronics and Maurizio Suppo aka Dimensionidol.Paul Caleo who originally played the guitar now handle one instrument self builded, named “Caleophone”. Search | Add | 10 | Kamuflars | Kamuflars is a beatmaker and producer from Bergen, Norway - and a resident artist for the club nights and music label 'Jungelen'. He enjoys experimenting with electronic sounds, moving towards uptempo tracks made for the dancefloor, combining genres like House and Broken Beat. Even though, one should not categorize his music, being that it’s more about exposing an unpolished and raw vibe! Making the bridge between samples and self produced loops and soundscapes, 'the Kamu' has quite fast come up with his own distinct and playful sound. As he likes to call it: "Nordnes Funk". Together with long-time partner in crime, Jungelen-boss Simon Alejandro, they’ve released several projects on their label during the last seven years – both digitally and on limited runs of vinyl. Her first track, released under the pseudonym NyaNatty, was entitled 'One Love Style'. She wrote the song while travelling on the train to a recording session for the group Black Slate which they recorded and released on the S&G Records label. Barbara went on to work with UB40, recording several tracks for their DEP International record label. 'Suffering' featured on the B-side of the band's UK top 10 hit 'Please Don't Make Me Cry'. She was offered a 5-year recording contract with DEP International but declined after being invited to join the all-female band Akabu, first as a drummer, then as guitarist/backing vocalist. As an integral part of Akabu, she toured continuously all over the world, performing at the world famous Reggae Sunsplash festival, and at prestigious venues such as Madison Square Gardens and the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, New York. After several years as a member of Akabu, Barbara decided it was time to pursue a solo career and she released several singles, as well as her debut album 'No Apologies' on the Ruff Cutt label. She became a regular feature of the critically acclaimed Ruff Cutt Band, becoming one of the most highly rated backing vocalists in the reggae business. Barbara has regularly worked with a long list of the most prestigious reggae acts both live and in the studio, including artists such as Marcia Griffiths, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Beres Hammond, Alton Ellis, John Holt, Luciano, Sanchez, Ken Boothe, Delroy Wilson, Cornell Campbell, Al Campbell and Michael Rose, to name just a few. As well as being a talented vocalist, Barbara is also an accomplished musician, composer, producer and music programmer. She produced and programmed a number of the rhythm tracks for songs on her debut album and has programmed and produced all the rhythm tracks for her latest album, Empress Lioness, which was released on March 25th, 2013." In junior high he began playing guitar and singing in rockabilly bands, performing after high school basketball games and at teen clubs. His primary group, The Vibratones, performed seasonally at Lime Lake Pavilion dance hall where Levon Helm & The Hawks and The Rockin' Rebels ("Wild Weekend") also played regularly. He was graduated from Ten Broeck Academy / Franklinville Central School and attended the University of Buffalo for two years where his bands were contemporaries of Stan & The Ravens, The Rising Sons (featuring Jimmy Caliri) and Ronnie James Dio & Elf. (Robert's group opened for Link Wray & The Wraymen and sometimes performed as "The Roddymen," WKBW deejay and "Price Is Right" announcer Rod Roddy's record hop group.) Robert transferred to St. Bonaventure University and was graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Business Management. While there he worked in small R&B and pop-rock combos, gaining an opening act slot for Patti Page at the Three Rivers Inn in Syracuse, NY. Following college, he moved to New York City and signed with Herb Alpert's A&M Records, releasing one single, "For Awhile We Helped Each Other Out" b/w "When I'm Wrong You Never Forget." After brief stints with Eastman Kodak Co. and the U.S. Army, Robert began performing as a soloist in the Rochester, NY metro. His singles "Cookie & Lila" and "Movin' In The Same Circles" both charted Top 10 on country station WNYR and his original, "Livin' The Life," received national notice in Billboard magazine. Over the next 15 years he released two vinyl LPs, "Let The Cowboy Dance" and "Rest Your Love On Me Awhile," four cassette-only releases, "That's All," "Let It Be Me," "Case Country," and "Always," as well as numerous vinyl singles. During this time, Robert appeared as opening act in concert with national recording artists including: Ricky Nelson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Marty Robbins, Tammy Wynette, The Statler Brothers, Riders In The Sky, Asleep At The Wheel, Sonny James, The Bellamy Brothers, Little Jimmy Dickens, David Houston, Cal Smith, the Original Drifting Cowboys (Hank Williams Sr.’s band), and Ronny Robbins (Marty’s son.) Robert performed regularly at the Americana Rochester hotels, the Country Warehouse, the Schoolhouse, the Periwinkle Pub, and was a staple of the city's annual Lilac Festival. For three years he owned and operated country music venue Case's California Ranch on Honeoye Lake in New York state's Finger Lakes district. The Gannett Rochester Democrat & Chronicle newspaper's "Best Of" reader's poll named him the area's top local country music artist. Robert was a guest entertainer aboard a country music theme cruise on Norwegian Cruise Lines' SS Norway starring George Jones and Mickey Gilley who suggested he try Branson, MO. He began ten seasons on the Branson strip, entertaining at such venues as the Country Pub, Roy Clark's Loft, the Polynesian Princess showboat (music director), and the Welk Theatre's Canteen Lounge, releasing the cassette-only "Alive And Well In Branson, MO" and the Hawaiian-themed "Holo Aku." Simultaneously he worked seven winter seasons at the Orlando, FL metro's western-themed resort River Ranch. After a year in Ft. Lauderdale (Armadillo Cafe and Coop's in Davie. FL), Robert relocated to the San Antonio / Austin, TX area, performing regularly in Gruene (Gruene River Grille) and Canyon Lake (the Lakeview, Papa Docks, the Old Windmill, and Anchor's Landing). There he was opening act in concert for Earl Poole Ball (Johnny Cash band), Two Tons Of Steel, and the Ace In The Hole band (George Strait band.) For the last several years Robert has called Slick, OK (Tulsa metro) home, entertaining one year in Branson, MO (Big Cedar Lodge) and five years at Tulsa's Western Country Diner. He again opened for Riders In The Sky and in 2014 formed the western music duo A Little Farther West with his wife Susie on keyboards. To date they have released five albums, "A Little Farther West," "Mountain Storm," "God Must Be A Cowboy," "Christmas On The Line," and "Vaya Con Dios." Search | Add | 10 | The Original Gospel Chimes | The Gospel Chimes started singing in the late 1950s, and their home base was Chicago, Illinois. Just who formed the group is a mystery, some sources claim James Cleveland, and others say Jessy Dixon. Both men were just starting to rise in the field of gospel, spreading their talents among the group as well as choirs. James and Jessy were a perfect match, they sang alike, both phrased in a modern quasi-pop manner on ballads. They were both composers' and wrote and arranged a number of the songs the group did. The harmonies they arranged for the Chimes mediated between 1950s gospel groups and the evolving choir sounds. The Chimes released four albums on the HOB label, before moving to the Savoy label, and in later years recorded on the Atlantic label. Some of the groups sessions also included Billy Preston and Alfred Bolden (Voices Of Tabernacle) on the organ. As with most gospel groups the personnel was always changing, the Gospel Chimes have included James Cleveland, Dorothy Norwood, Jessy Dixon, and Imogene Green (of the Davis Sisters and Caravans fame.) Two of the long stay members were Lee Charles Neeley and Claude O. Timmons. After his tenure with the Gospel Chimes, Lee Charles Neeley ventured into to the secular side of the music. His career lasted a few years and spawned a few minor hits for him during the late 60's and early 70s.
