Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 10 | Niccolò B | Niccolò Bonini | Born in 1991, Niccolo’s relationship with electronic music started as a teenager when he began to frequent nightclubs as an escape from ordinary life in his adopted hometown, Bergamo (Italy). The nightlife scene excited him, particurarly the feeling of connection on the dance floor and the power of music to create strong emotions in a crowd. Music always had a significant meaning in his life, symbolising freedom and becoming ultimately a bold statement for his identity. Around the year 2014 he felt an inner force telling him to leave everything behind and take his relationship with music further, inspired by the sound of many artists from different musical styles. This process of musical discovery and curiosity still permeates up to this day. In 2016 Niccolo released his first track “Out In Space (Original Mix)” under Aeriform Records, before going on releasing other tracks for digital record labels such as Suffused Music, Inmost Records and Mystic Carousel Records. 2017 was marked by more releases on Mystic Carosuel Records, for which he produced a series of remixes and original tracks which owed him some reactions and support from the community. His self-taught skills and style are in a state of constant evolution, both on the side of producing music as well as performing it. Taking influences from older records, his sound can always be recognised by its keen sense of melody, as well as a penetrating and vibrating rhythm. Those are the ingredients for the uplifting musical experience he wants to convey. The year 2018 brings him new and exciting challenges: Niccolo moves to Berlin, (Germany), the global capital of electronic music, where he soon has the chance to perform a live set at Kaffee Burger, in the very city center. This experience gives him the opportunity to give an even more precise direction to his musical journey, focusing on a very specific sound which melts together traits of Techno, Trance and Dance music. In 2019, Niccolo starts working on his very own project: record label, podcast series and nightclub in Berlin, under the name of “FUCKED UP!”. Find more info at: www.fuckedupberlin.de. | Search | Add | 10 | Greedy Edna | Greedy Edna is from the small town of Greenfield MA. Chad, Enoch and Dan attended Tuners Falls High together. Enoch and Chad had found each other in the local band NCD where Chad played bass guitar. Chad and Enoch found themselves going in a different direction then the other members of that band. The two split of and joined up with other local players in a band called Symposium. they then found Fat Nellie on the drums. That band had a two year stint on the local scene and gained a modest local following. But soon after Chad and Enoch found themselves going yet another direction and formed the band Greedy Edna. For the first six months of the bands existence they went through many line-up changes, going through almost all of the local drum and bass players. Finally and ironically the two decided to call upon Fat Nellie (Symposium's old drummer). It was a perfect fit. And also around the same Enoch had met his old friend from high school (Dan Hescock) in a parking lot and remembered he had been an accomplished bass player. Dan soon after tried out for the band and once again clicked....... Greedy Edna was formed....... The band immediately started working on songs Chad and Enoch had been writing in the meantime and came out with its first demo in '96. It's six songs grabbed the attention of all the local kids and people started coming out in droves to see this new band. The new metal wave had not yet sunk its teeth into the area yet and this was a new sound for everyone. Greedy Edna began to spread from its local area and use New England itself to call home. After four years on the scene Greedy Edna has made a presence in area music. Being featured on radio stations such as 106.9 WCCC (if you saw the Howard Stern movie its the station he's at when in Hartford) and 99.3 WHMP. Also being looked at by many Independent and Major record labels. Greedy is constantly recording and producing new material. For its four years they have 3 full length albums, and another one on the way. So here they are, present day.... | |

| Search | Add | 10 | S.K. Grundy | Shirley Keith Grundy | S.K. Grundy He directed the orchestra of a Baptist College in Springfield, Missouri. He wrote lots of barbershop arrangements, many of which were considered daring, audacious, and unstylistic. They contained many unusual twists. One of Grundy's masterpieces was "A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square," which he arranged for the Confederates, and revived some twenty-five years later by the Vocal Majority. In hindsight, many feel that Grundy was ahead of his time. Those who heard his work didn't understand it and Grundy was written off as a "wild man." But he was a superb musician, and in the sixties he went to California to do vocal and instrumental arrangements for Lawrence Welk. Many of us recall quartets appearing on the show, usually featuring bass Larry Hooper and tenor Joe Feeney singing songs undoubtedly arranged by S. K. It seems that alcoholism cost him his job with Welk, at which time he returned to Springfield, where he continued to deteriorate from alcoholism until his death. Unfortunately it is hard to find original Grundy arrangments because Grundy would write out 2/3 of an arrangement on a bar napkin, bring it to quartet rehearsal, teach it by rote, and finish (and further refine!) the arrangement on the fly. This done, he felt no particular need to bother writing the entire arrangement down. |

Then a neighbor dug an old banjo out of his attic and told Trilly if she could learn to play a song on it within one week, she could keep the banjo. She wanted that banjo and by the end that week she learned to play “Hey Mr. Banjo”. She kept the banjo and has been playing ever since. She also began her own band at the age of ten. She appeared on Ted Mack's Amateur Hour and was then on the road at the age of 18. Cole's musical career took her to Printers Alley in Nashville where she played at the well-known Captain’s Table for fifteen years. She moved on to Las Vegas, Detroit and other musical venues where she was the opening act for many well-known country stars. While in Michigan she was endorsed by Gibson Guitars. |

Born in São Mateus in the extreme north of Espirito Santo and since childhood, he has lived in the Vale do Jurigão in the southern state of Mato Grosso, Brazil, where he lived his childhood and adolescence, Sandro Lúcio, who began his career in 1971 as a singer romantic brega. And it was precisely in the midwestern region, where the career of the singer Sandro Lúcio was born, predominating in the cities of Rondonópolis, Paranatininga and Pedra Preta. It was in Rondonópolis in the state of Mato Grosso where he moved very early with his parents and his 8 brothers, who Sandro Lúcio sang for the first time in a station of Radio. In São João in 1971 he sang live for the whole of Amazonia, direct from the studios of Rádio Amorim Juventude AM, when he was part of the trio "Parrot Parrot and Mangabão", formed with his two brothers Mateus and Moacyr. Sandro Lucio was the Mangabão. The singer remembers that the trio was formed by the influence of the longed [a=Trio Parada Dura] that was very successful in the 70's in the southern states and midwest of the country. But only in 1984, Sandro Lúcio decided to dissolve the partnership that maintained with his brothers and took his solo career for Brazil. Today, with 28 recorded albums, he recorded his first live DVD on Saturday, April 14, 2007 in Praça Castelo Branco, downtown Itamaraju. Already Sandro Lúcio makes a beautiful reflection saying that Itamaraju gave him life in his new professional phase from the year 2000, and found it more than fair to choose the city to fulfill his greatest dream. The singer Sandro Lúcio was reborn musically in Bahia, through the musical entrepreneur Aroldo Neves, owner of Aroldo Neves Produções, a company specialized in promotions of artistic shows, that in 1999 began to entrepreneur the singer especially in the northeast. But it was from the beginning of the year 2000 that Sandro Lúcio exploded musically with great successes, realizing about 200 shows per year. Bahia and Maranhão are the states where the singer's shows are most requested. Only in Paraná, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba and Amapá, Sandro Lúcio has not yet performed. | |

| Search | Add | 10 | Júnior Cordeiro | José Valni Cordeiro Lima Júnior | "THE ARTIST Combining Baião with Heavy Rock, that is the key alchemy of Júnior Cordeiro's music -- poet, singer and composer. This junction of genres (in this case, the junction of ideologies, since the two segments transcend the pure concept of “styles” and reach the idea of musical cultures) is nothing new in the Brazilian scene, what is new is the way in which this paraibano achieves this dialogue so naturally. O Bruxo do Cariri Velho, as he became known in the music industry, travels through virtually all segments of northeastern music, from toada to baião, as well as various segments of good old Rock'n'Roll, from Progressive/Psychedelic to blues and Heavy Metal, establishing a strong musical accent, which the artist himself conceptualizes as Rock-Baião. His poetics, while denouncing strong influences from northeastern cordelistas and repentistas, bear subtle traits from the most diverse literary poets. With fifteen years of career, Júnior Cordeiro managed to establish a strong characteristic: the peculiarity of the themes covered in his discography. The mythical and mystical Northeast, the Iberian heritage, popular magic, messianic delusions, rustic and sertanejo Catholicism, western occultism, metaphysics and existential questions, madness and many other intricate subjects, come together in a fixed idea of verification and denunciation of the evils of man's objectification in liquid and globalizing post-modernity, in a rich and fertile field of imagery, where the collective imagination is always present and invigorated. From his first album (Carrascais/2006), to O Lago Misterioso/2011, Capa Preta/2013, Sonhos, Sertão & Loucura/2016, Céu, Hades e outros Porvires/2018, Vênus Philpeia/2019, #CâmaraEco/2021, until it culminates in his newest work, Infinito Migrar/2022, Cordeiro navigates his sea of musical information, always willing to approach different themes related to human nature." |

Born in Greece, he's lived, played, and studied in 12 cities, 6 countries, and 2 continents. In a past life he had two releases with the new wave band Art Of Parties, a fun time with his brother, Δημήτρη Βασιλάκη (Dimitrios Vassilakis) and few good friends, releasing one single with Creep Records and one DIY album under a label put together with band-mate Θανάση Οικονόμου (Athanassios Economou). Then came music studies in London, award-wining works for the English National Ballet and the London Chinese Orchestra, graduate studies at UCLA, and an academic career in music perception, psychoacoustics, film music, & noise mitigation. Disillusioned with academia, he founded AcousticsLab / Sound4Vision in 2016, specializing in Creative and Scientific Consulting in Audio Arts & Acoustics, working with the Hollywood Bowl and the LA Philharmonic, the Port of Los Angeles, The KAABOO Experience, and others. In 2020, 30 years after his last release, Covid19 froze all live entertainment, giving him “permission” to return to music-making and the joy that comes with springing new songs out of 'nothing.' "No matter what, one thing is for sure: through joy, pain, success, disappointment, exhilarating energy, and debilitating depression ...through it all, music has won. Running on its high!" | Search | Add | 10 | Tammy Cline | Marilyn Margaret Croff | Marilyn Margaret Croff, (born 16th June 1953), Hull, Humberside, England. The teenage Croff was performing in working-men’s clubs in the Hull area and gave up her job at a starch factory because the chemicals were affecting her voice. She met her husband, Rod Boulton, when she sang with a local band, the Falcons. After the birth of their daughter they became a duo and, on a whim, Rod named them Tammy And Dave Cline. Although not intentional, it was the ideal name for Marilyn Croff, whose strongest influences were Tammy Wynette and Patsy Cline. With another Hull band, Uncle Sam, Tammy Cline did well in the national Marlboro Talent Contest in 1978. When they decided to turn fully professional, Uncle Sam changed its line-up and became Southern Comfort. Success on the television talent showSearch For A Star followed, and Tammy recorded in Nashville - one single for the UK market, ‘Love Is A Puzzle’, and another for the US, ‘I Don’t Know How To Tell Him’. Although chart success eluded her, she was voted Britain’s Top Female Country Singer for five consecutive years. In 1986, Cline and Little Ginny formed Two Hearts and were awarded the title of Top European Duo in the Country Music Round Up National Poll. They released a self titled album in 1989. In the early 90s Cline retired from the music business to concentrate on her family life. During her career Cline built a strong following around the UK clubs and became a seasoned broadcaster. |

Acompanhou The Supremes (Diana Ross), The Four Tops e Johnny Mathis. |

| Search | Add | 10 | The Amplified Version | This early Jesus movement band is remembered for its album Whatcha Gonna Do? which revealed their indebtedness to producer Gary S.Paxton. Their sound was distinctive in its use of brass (seven horns), recalling such early-’70s outfits as Chicago or Blood, Sweat, and Tears. Two Paxton songs received a lot of attention: "Jesus Is My Lawyer in Heaven" and "Jesus Keeps Takin' Me Higher and Higher." These and the title song constitute the album's high-energy numbers. Another Paxton song, "The Gadget Man," is noteworthy for its complex and original structure. (keyboard), Bruce Hibbard (vocals, guitar), Jorge Marsal (percussion), and Shirley [Monroe] Marsal (vocals) were also members of the group at some point. | Search | Add | 10 | Lia Rox | Hailing from East Berlin, Lia emerged on the UK's music scene as the only non-British artist to contribute vocals to The Peace Collective's UK Hit 'All Together Now' where she joined an all star line up of recording artists including Julian Lennon, Mick Jones of The Clash, Suggs of Madness, Holly Johnson and Shara Nelson of Massive Attack among many others. The song reached number one on the UK Independent Singles Chart on the 19th December 2014. Known in her native city for her colorful hair and unique fashion sense, Lia's debut album proves there's much more to this striking young performer than aesthetics; her masterful songwriting talent belies her years. With producer Simon Britton (Aaliyah, Ashanti, Boyz II Men, Run DMC) and co-producer Jon Moon (Amy Winehouse, Jessie J, Lady Gaga) by her side, the album features an impressive range of collaborators including Morris Pleasure of Earth Wind & Fire, (Michael Jackson, Christina Aguilera), Dale Davis (Tina Turner, Randy Crawford) and Karl Vanden Bossche (Jamiroquai, Mark Ronson, Gorillaz). Recording took place at Camden's legendary Sensible Music studios, which have also played host to the likes of Amy Winehouse, Sting and Michael Jackson. A sophisticated Pop undertone blends with a touch of Electro and Soul to connect the past, present and the future, characterterised honesty and innovation. Lia's unique vocal carries the listener through a journey that embraces love, heartbreak, death, grief, the search for happiness and ultimately a sense of self-empowerment. Legendary Bimbo Jones (34 UK Music Week number ones and 30 US Billboard Dance Chart number ones) were commissioned to remix Lia's first single from the album, 'Hound'. Their remix debuted at number two on the Dance/Crossover Top 40 Breaker Chart in the US, second only to Katy Perry at number one. | |

| Search | Add | 10 | Daniil Charms | Даниил Иванович Ювачёв (Daniil Ivanovich Yuvachyov) | Russian absurdist writer, poet and dramatist, widely regarded among the most influential early-Soviet era avantgardists (30 December [O.S. 17 December] 1905, Saint Petersburg, Russian Empire — 2 February 1942, Leningrad, USSR). Daniil Charms had a tragic life, repressed by the Soviet regime and only allowed to publish his children's literature. Arrested twice, Kharms died of starvation, aged 36, in a prison mental hospital. He was rehabilitated posthumously in July 1960. By the early-to-mid-1990s, Daniil Charms was widely published in Russia and abroad, translated into English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Finnish, Irish and other languages. Daniil Yuvachev began writing as Kharms in the early 1920s, also adopting countless other pseudonyms (including Ххармс, Хаармсъ, Чармс, Шардам, Дандан, Карл Иванович Шустерлинг, and Иван Топорышкин). His early 1924–26 works were influenced by "Zaum" futurists Velimir Chlebnikov and [a=Aleksej Kručenych]. In 1927, Charms and Alexander Vvedensky co-founded an underground OBeRIu group (the "Union of Real Art;" ОБэРИу, Объединение Реального Искусства in Russian). The collective featured Nikolay Zabolotsky, Konstantin Vaginov, Nikolay Oleynikov and Igor Bakhterev, among others, and primarily organized public performances and readings. Soon afterward, Samuil Marshak and Boris Zhitkov helped Kharms to publish in children's literature, as it was the only appropriate vessel for his quirky and odd writing style. Between 1928 and 1931, Daniil Charms published nine illustrated children's books and extensively collaborated with popular magazines. In December 1931, Charms, Vvedensky and Bakhterev were arrested for "participating in the anti-Soviet writer's club," ending OBeRIu. Kharms was sentenced to four-month penal transportation in Kursk, returning to Leningrad by October 1932. In August 1941, Charms was again arrested for criticizing the Communist Party in the war against Germany. Under martial law, it was considered treason; Daniil only avoided death by simulating insanity. He was incarcerated in a psychiatric ward at the notorious "Kresty" prison and died from starvation in February 1942. Daniil's second wife, Marina Malich (1909—2002), and one of his close friends rescued the writer's manuscripts from his abandoned apartment. Around 1965, the first "adult" works by Kharms began to appear in Soviet literary magazines, with more comprehensive compilations circulating in "samizdat," including a selection published by George Gibian at [l=Cornell University] in 1974 and a four-volume 1978–88 edition by Mikhail Meilakh and Vladimir Erl in Bremen, Germany. (Gibian also became one of the first English translators, followed by [a=Neil Cornwell] in Great Britain). In 1988, a Master's thesis, Problematics of "funny" in OBeRIu art by Anna Gerasimova (better known as a rock musician Umka), became the first academic study of Kharms in the USSR. Since then, dozens of researchers have extensively analyzed the writer's work and his influence on contemporary Russian culture, from Yuriy Koval's fairytales and postmodernist literature of Viktor Pelevin and Vladimir Sorokin to Boris Grebenshikov's and NOM band's music. Other prominent artists inspired by Daniil Charms include Icelandic composer [a=Hafliði Hallgrímsson], Belgian artist [a=Peter Vermeersch], who released [r=6803049] CD (1998), and Dutch new music ensemble [a=De Kift] with [r=1737970] experimental opera. A duo of saxophonist [a=Ted Milton] and laptop musician [a=Sam Britton] performed Kharm's Way in 2003, while the US rapper [a=Billy Woods] named his 2015 album, [m=853335], after one of the books by Kharms. |
