Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 10 | Gane RImatore | Vedran Ganić | Croatian MC from Rijeka, born in 1982. Began his rap career in 2003 when he teamed up with his friend [a=Denno] and started recording what was later to become their Demo Vol. 1 EP which saw the light of the day in 2006. The two then formed Sirotinja d.o.o. - a rap collective that alongside them comprised of two more MC's [a=Miroy] and Dejo and one producer [a=Slom]. The group managed to release an album in 2007 that brought them a noticeable recognition within the croatian underground rap scene, but disbanded shortly after. Gane, alongside Dejo and Miroy formed a new group MajstoRi sa Mora in 2008 whose activities were based around producing and releasing Miroy's solo Buksa EP 2009 and eventually Gane's first solo album Nocturno Hip Hop, also in 2009. This was followed by numerous guest appearances on other croatian rappers' tracks/releases and even collaborations with artists from Serbia and Bosnia & Herzegovina. In 2012 his track "Reci Riječi Rijeci" was released with the accompanying video and it became the anthem of HNK Rijeka, his hometown's football team. The follow-up to his debut entitled Tr1na3st dropped in 2013, containing "Reci Riječi Rijeci" as bonus track. |

Acompanhou The Supremes (Diana Ross), The Four Tops e Johnny Mathis. |

From that he graduated to middle school and he got good grades in all subjects but, he was doing his best in band class, that's when he learned how to play the trombone and percussion. When he graduated from there he went off to high school and taught his self to play the piano by ear, producing music, writing and recording just to name a few. And, there you have it. That's the introductory story of how Baby GAR Figuer got started in music. |

| Search | Add | 10 | Sandro Lúcio | Brazilian singer. Born in São Mateus in the extreme north of Espirito Santo and since childhood, he has lived in the Vale do Jurigão in the southern state of Mato Grosso, Brazil, where he lived his childhood and adolescence, Sandro Lúcio, who began his career in 1971 as a singer romantic brega. And it was precisely in the midwestern region, where the career of the singer Sandro Lúcio was born, predominating in the cities of Rondonópolis, Paranatininga and Pedra Preta. It was in Rondonópolis in the state of Mato Grosso where he moved very early with his parents and his 8 brothers, who Sandro Lúcio sang for the first time in a station of Radio. In São João in 1971 he sang live for the whole of Amazonia, direct from the studios of Rádio Amorim Juventude AM, when he was part of the trio "Parrot Parrot and Mangabão", formed with his two brothers Mateus and Moacyr. Sandro Lucio was the Mangabão. The singer remembers that the trio was formed by the influence of the longed [a=Trio Parada Dura] that was very successful in the 70's in the southern states and midwest of the country. But only in 1984, Sandro Lúcio decided to dissolve the partnership that maintained with his brothers and took his solo career for Brazil. Today, with 28 recorded albums, he recorded his first live DVD on Saturday, April 14, 2007 in Praça Castelo Branco, downtown Itamaraju. Already Sandro Lúcio makes a beautiful reflection saying that Itamaraju gave him life in his new professional phase from the year 2000, and found it more than fair to choose the city to fulfill his greatest dream. The singer Sandro Lúcio was reborn musically in Bahia, through the musical entrepreneur Aroldo Neves, owner of Aroldo Neves Produções, a company specialized in promotions of artistic shows, that in 1999 began to entrepreneur the singer especially in the northeast. But it was from the beginning of the year 2000 that Sandro Lúcio exploded musically with great successes, realizing about 200 shows per year. Bahia and Maranhão are the states where the singer's shows are most requested. Only in Paraná, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba and Amapá, Sandro Lúcio has not yet performed. | |

| Search | Add | 10 | Dil-E-Nadan | Dil-E-Nada is a decades-old band which has had a rotating membership over the years. Sangeeta D'Songstar of Chutneymusic dot com provides a brief hstory of the band: "Dil e nadan was formed in 1957 by the late Usaf Khan and Ramnarine Moonilal. Dil e nadan won the Prime Minister’s Trophy for best indian orchestration which was judged by the late great Mohammed Rafi 1962. The band enjoyed a lot of success in the years to follow and dominated the local indian industry. In the 80’s the band toured mainly Canada,Guyana and Suriname and boasted the best local singers the country had at the time. (Nazimool and Ruby, Ras Nancoo). In the mid 80’s Ramnarine’s two sons Rennie and Raymond joined the group as percussionists then moving on to trumpets, and then Guitars and Keyboards. With the push from then manager Haseeb Majid ,Raymond started his career as a lead singer. He entered the national duet singing competition with Swarsati Maraj in 1989 and won first place. This proved to be the start of the rise of the Indian Culture among the youths in Trinidad and Tobago. The next year (1990) Raymond entered Mastana Bahar where he placed Second in the grand finals (a result which still has unanswered questions). Rennie the eldest of the brothers also sang in the finals. That same year the youngest of the brothers Richard joined the band as a Tabla and Dholak player. The band did their first show in New York in 1993 at York College in Queens. (the show was sold out 1 week in advance) Then in 1996 the band was signed to Soca Paradise (Ramesh Singh) and released there first C.D. People’s Choice. The success seemed to have just started as the band became the first band to tour Holland and Spain in 1997. In 1999 Richard became the youngest manager in Trinidad at only 19. Soon after dil e nadan became the first chutney group to perform at the world renowned Brass Festival and Youth fest. Dil e nadan holds the record for the most awards at the 103fm awards show (24).The band is currently sponsored by Bmobile and Stag. Dil e nadan recently signed a Five year deal in Holland with Bollywood LTD for performances in Europe." | |

| Search | Add | 10 | The Amplified Version | This early Jesus movement band is remembered for its album Whatcha Gonna Do? which revealed their indebtedness to producer Gary S.Paxton. Their sound was distinctive in its use of brass (seven horns), recalling such early-’70s outfits as Chicago or Blood, Sweat, and Tears. Two Paxton songs received a lot of attention: "Jesus Is My Lawyer in Heaven" and "Jesus Keeps Takin' Me Higher and Higher." These and the title song constitute the album's high-energy numbers. Another Paxton song, "The Gadget Man," is noteworthy for its complex and original structure. (keyboard), Bruce Hibbard (vocals, guitar), Jorge Marsal (percussion), and Shirley [Monroe] Marsal (vocals) were also members of the group at some point. |

| Search | Add | 10 | T. O. Ampomah | Thomas Osei Ampoumah | Thomas Osei "Jazz" Ampoumah, Dr. T.O. Jazz or "T.O." Ampomah, a Ghanaian Music Legend in traditional Highlife and Palmwine Music. T.O. Ampoumah comes from the town of Obomeng in the mountainous Akan Kwahu region between Accra and Kumasi. Born in 1932 he started learning guitar when he was fifteen years old in the town of Nkawkaw. T.O began playing in public with friends in 1950 when he was just eighteen years old. He formed his Ampoumah’s guitar band Mpraeso in 1952 with Kwabena Amoah (vocals), Kwaku Gyima (second guitar) and Edmond Kye (congas). T.O. made his his first recordings with a Ghana Broadcasting mobile van unit in 1954 and then with the UAC (United Africa Company) that had a small recording studio in Accra. In those days he was paid eight pounds per recording (i.e. two songs) In 1957/58 his guitar band was on tour in Burkina Faso (then called Upper Volta) where he met the Congolese band the Bantus Africana – who invited T.O. and his three musicians to Zaire where they played highlife numbers for the Bantus who were fascinated by this music but could not play it. The Bantus in turn taught the Ghanaians to play local lingala rumbas, chachacha’s, meringues, pachanga and boleros T.O. also met Franco the leader of Zaire’s top band O.K. and so changed the name of his Ampoumah’s guitar band to ‘T.O. Jazz’. When T.O. Jazz returned to Ghana in 1961 they introduced the chachacha to the country. Back in Ghana he set the newly named T.O. Jazz band that specialized in highlifes and Akan renditions of the rumba. It was with this band that T.O. recorded in 1968 the hit song ‘Aware Bone Asu Manim Ase’ (Bad Marriage Has Disgraced Me) that was released as a 45 RPM on the Phillips label. For this T.O. (together with Victor Uwaifo of Nigeria) was awarded in 1970 the first Phillips West African Golden Discs – and went to record a total of 127 songs. So by the mid 70’s T.O. Jazz was a household name in Ghana. In 1996 T.O. began teaching ‘palmwine highlife’ at the Music Department of the University of Ghana, where he also played and sang with John Collins' Local Dimension Band. T.O died after a short illness in 2001. |

| Search | Add | 10 | Los Pibes Trujillo | Ecuatorian brothers Marco Oswaldo, Luis Enrique and Juan Ernesto Trujillo Echanique are better well known for their Christmas Carols album as "Los Pibes Trujillo". The artistic name of the group (Pibes Trujillo) was inherited from one first intent that formed their father with a close relative. Their artistic beginnings were given at "Pablo Julián Gutiérrez" school, in "America" neighborhood of Quito downtown. Their musical leap gave them from the school to the Perpetual Socorro Church in the same neighborhood, the church organist encouraged them to sing Christmas Carols. They were announced in some radio shows in Quito (Radio Tarqui), as well as in broadcast of other radio stations such as Radio Democracia (Quito), Radio Cristal (Guayaquil), Emisora El Prado (Riobamba) and even in the "Julio César Hidalgo" coliseum in Quito. They become known by Segundo Bautista, a non-seer artist that performs keyboards and guitar with whom they recorded a tape demo for send it to Mr. José Domingo Feraud Guzmán (founder of J. D. Feraud Guzman Recordings) in Guayaquil city, they recorded in 1961 a Long Play album in which were included 10 Christmas Carols tracks, also recorded 5 mini discs of 45 RPM. Their only and unique album printed and titled "Dulce Jesus Mio" becomes a classic Christmas Carols in Ecuador that practically has been immortalized into the whole Ecuatorian music. Unfortunately the Trujillo brothers in their childhood didn't had the professional support to continue their career, according to themselves they had too much regret with an uncle of them that was their "manager", this man was acting without scruple (because they were orphans of father and mother), exploited them in such a way that they did not perceive any money gain, yet being the main stars of the spectacle. | |
