Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 10 | Nyofu Tyson | Nyofu Tyson | Originally a jazz bassist, Nyofu Tyson has been playing Turkish Saz since the 70's. His music is a blend of Turkish, Jazz, Latin, Flamenco and more. He is also a composer and translator/interpreter of Turkish Folk Poets. Born in Los Angeles of Danish-Lebanese-African-American heritage, Nyofu Tyson grew up in a musical home. His Dad was an amateur jazz pianist and avid listener of many styles of music. Nyofu began music as a bassist, playing Jazz and Latin with local groups. He studied Composition, Classical Bass, and North Indian Classical Music at California Institute of the Arts for 2 years. His interest in ethnic music led him to Turkey, where he began playing the long necked lute, Saz. He then lived for many years in Sweden, where he worked with [a=Zülfü Livaneli], [a=Okay Temiz] and [a=Hadji Tekbilek] , all major names in Turkish music. He toured all over Sweden and Europe with these artists, while having his own band and making radio concert and TV appearances in Sweden and Turkey. Since returning to LA in 1994, he has collaborated with Omar Faruk Tekbilek, oudist John Bilezikian and Cuatro Caminos Flamenco among others. In 2004, Nyofu released two CD’s on the 3 Worlds Music label: “Timeless Songs”, a collection of Turkish folk poets from 13th century to present; and “La Guitarra Turca”, original work blending Mideast, Latin and Jazz in an instrumental/vocal mix. He has been a member and featured artist in the Stefani Valadez Ensemble since 2006 and started Turkish/Flamenco fusion group “iST/West” together with Flamenco guitarist Bobby Solakov in 2007. From July 2011 thru Dec 2013 he performed with these groups at Disney California Adventure, introducing the public there to Turkish Poets and popular songs, odd rhythms and Flamenco alaturca. Nyofu travels regularly to Turkey, where he has gained recognition for his interpretations of Turkish folk poets and his eclectic style of Saz playing. In 2010 Nyofu began work on a new collection of Turkish Poet interpretations, featuring his original compositions. Recorded in Izmir, Istanbul and Los Angeles, "Minstrels&Mystics" is to be released in Turkey Spring 2017 by Avrupa Music. Also to be released is 5 song “iST/West” EP “Ciudad de Mi Alma”, featuring the single “Yeni Anladım”. |

Search | Add | 10 | PandolfoPaolo | Paolo Pandolfo | The Italian composer PandolfoPaolo acquired the roots of his training in the study of the centuries-old tradition of musical art in the Veneto region, where the grandeur of the sacred creations forged in cathedrals has admirably merged with the instrumental and vocal virtuosity of the irreverent theatre of Baroque Venice. A fertile union between the sacred and the profane. It is in Padua, in the ideal triangle that unites the domes of the Basilica of Sant'Antonio, the Computational Sonology Center of the University and the Pollini Conservatory of Music, that a multifaceted and unprejudiced musical compositional concept is born, free to create with all genres available. After a difficult period in the second half of the twentieth century in which “cultured” music closed in an elitist and self-referential snobbery, PandolfoPaolo decidedly embarked on the path of music as a language of communication that is understandable for the listener and of involvement for the player; all always on the path of the search for quality. PandolfoPaolo, has been recognised in numerous national and international competitions with large works including the Te Deum for solos, choir and organ, winner of the Anima Mundi competition for the 950th anniversary of the Cathedral of Pisa and chaired by Sir John Eliot Gardiner (2014), success repeated in 2017 (the only case in the history of the event founded by the late maestro Giuseppe Sinopoli). The encounter with the magic of the recording room, with the alchemies that revolve around San Giacomo - Spazio d’Arte in Padua have led to collaborations with artists of other genres, providing the qualities of an orchestrator with the most modern sounds of the pop guitar and folding the sound of the strings to the needs of the historical narration of a soundtrack. A musical dimension without borders that runs through unexplored spaces of contamination and marriages with the sole intention of sharing the joy of creativity. ImageSonika produced and published the most significative recorded opera of the composer: Musica Sacra (Sacred Music) released in 2017 Pink Quartet (Concert for string quartet) released in 2020 Along The Path album from A.D. 1221 Il Primo Cammino di Antonio (The Path of Anthony) soundtrack released in 2021 Consolazione (Concerto for Piano) released in 2021 Trio d’Amore (Suite for Piano, Violin, Cello) Francesca’s Heart (Sonata for Piano and Violin) Piano Sonata Cold Winter, released in 2022. On June 2023 the Sacred Oratorio “Il Cammino di Antonio” was performed in the majestic Basilica of Sant’Anthony in Padua, and for the occasion ImageSonika released the video series which includes the concert, a docufilm of the story and a backstage documentary of the orchestra and its conductor. Lastly on January 2024 the Pandolfo’s last works as Demons and Angels - 6 Variations for piano on “Confutatis Maledictis” by W.A. Mozart, and the Preludes for piano solo (Your Hands, Ondine and Sabato) have been recorded and published thanks to the consolidated partnership with the pianist Élise Richard. |

The leader and vocalist of the band for many years is Punch, who rallied the punk community of Volzhsky in the mid-90s. Since the 2000s the band has been based in Finland and performs under the name Wheel of Dharma. The legacy of the band, whose performances and first recordings date back to the early 90s, is hard to overestimate, it became a cornerstone of the DIY scene formation in Russia. The band has always taken a clear anti-fascist stance, never separating politics from music, and music from action. The band's performance at the Yebi Systema Fest, announced in 2013, did not take place. The band hasn't performed in Russia for quite a long time. Search | Add | 10 | Out of the Void | Out of the Void | A Canadian heavy metal band formed in Chatham, Ontario, March 2017 by guitar players Gord Dillon and Joe Babcock. The band’s sound has been described as a combination of some of the early metal genres (i.e. NWOBHM, Doom Metal, Thrash Metal) combined with an early 90's flavour (i.e. Epic Metal, Power Metal). Out of the Void (OOTV) are heavily influenced by the late 70’s and early 80’s metal scenes with a tinge of early to mid 80’s thrash thrown in for good measure. The concept for OOTV has existed for close to 30 years in one form or another. Early on names for the band morphed from “Titan” to “Even Flow” to “Tip of the Spear” until “Out of the Void” seemed to take hold. Screaming Earth Studios is the private recording studio for the band, located in Chatham Ontario, and was used exclusively to record the songs for all the band’s release. The Earth Screams was release in April 2018 and consists of eight songs themed around Good vs. Evil, Politics, History, World War, Depression, Horror and Fantasy. The band was excited to have “The Earth Screams” professionally mastered at Metal Works Studio in Toronto in early January of 2018. OOTV quickly followed up with their 2nd release "Evil Unleashed" one year later in May 2019. Evil Unleashed is another eight song release that touches on the themes of Good Vs. Evil, Gun Violence, Addiction, World War and Cultish Leaders. As Covid-19 descended upon us it slowed the release of "Sad Shadows In Flames", the bands 3rd studio album. The album barely made it as a 2020 release squeaking out on the last day of the year after 8 months of delays. Sad Shadows In Flames consists of 9 songs focussed mainly on Beating the odds, Fiction, Good vs. Evil, Self Reflection and Vampirism. The band's discography currently consists of three studio albums. Many of the songs have been written over the past 30 years by main song writer Gord Dillon. Gord took on lead vocals for the band which was not the original plan but these two guitarists lacked someone to put a voice to the music. Joe Babcock convinced Gord to just give it a try and see what happens and the rest is history. Gord would describe his vocal style as simply “…just getting it done”. Joe perfects and mixes all of the music you hear which is a combination of him noodling or Gord conveying a hook or riff that goes with the lyrics. Both musicians have their main parts in the band and collaborate extremely well to challenge each other both lyrically and musically to refine each song. Also, showing up from the Void, every once in a while, are two mysterious characters, D.E. Athearly (Drums) and Blitz Krieg (Bass). It is said they are from the ether but D.E. seems to have some type of control over Blitz. When you see one the other is not far behind. Both character fill in on bass and drums through a series of talented friends of the band. Joe assumed lead/rhythm guitars, bass and drums on both releases. Gord took on vocals and plays rhythm guitars. Also credited on the first release is Bobby Pilutti, a friend of the band who consulted on the drum parts to help anchor the rhythm section. D.E and Blitz keep their distance until they hear the call and spring into live action. They seem to shy away from the studio and are drawn to larger crowds of people. Currently, Out of the Void is working in studio on their 4th release, set for December 2022. |

Annuimmo. E non osammo più parlare innanzi.

Search | Add | 10 | Les Légions Noires | Les Légions Noires ('The Black Legions' in English) were a French group of underground black metal musicians and their bands, centred mostly around the city of Brest in Brittany. Some of the bands and solo projects involved were [a=Aäkon Këëtrëh], [a=Amaka Hahina], [a=Belathuzur], [a=Belkètre], [a=Black Murder], [a13255497], [a=Brenoritvrezorkre], [a=Chapel Of Ghouls], [a=Dvnaèbkre], [a=Dzlvarv], [a=Glorhme], [a=Moëvöt], [a=Mütiilation], [a=Satanicum Tenebrae], [a=Seviss], [a=Susvourtre], [a=Vagézaryavtre], [a=Vénambre], [a=Vlad Tepes], [a=Vèrmyapre Kommando], [a=Vladre] and [a=Vzaéurvbtre]. Possibly the LLN, as the name is often abbreviated, were formed in the late 1980s, early 1990s, in response to or inspired by the supposed Norwegian "Black Metal Inner Circle." It is unclear whether the LLN are still active today or whether they have ceased to exist, possibly around 1996/97.
