Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

At the end of 1990-s beginning of 2000 composer settled in Moscow where he continued his experiments with electronics and also addresses to traditional chamber and so-called “applied” music. He started scoring animation and cinema projects and creating sound sculptures for installations of his friends-artists. These installations were presented in galleries of Moscow, Warsaw, New York, St. Paolo, etc. Pereslegin’s mini-opera “Helmsmans of the Row” was successfully produced on the stages of Moscow art-clubs in 1998-99. His next mini-opera “Mozart and Salieri” was performed in “Dom” cultural center in Moscow, as part of the festival “Deep Throat or Dangerous Chords” in 2000. In the same year Anatoly Pereslegin was invited to Copenhagen where a ballet “Mermaid” (contemporary dance) based on composers’ music was staged. For the last years “Mozart and Salieri” and other mini-operas of the composer – “Ahmaty”, “V. I. Since 2002 Anatoly participates in all audio-visual installation programs of “Electroshock Records” that are held in Russia and abroad. In 2004-2005 Mr. Pereselegin plans to finish the process of preparation for realization of the scale sound show that is going to be held on a Coast of the Dead Sea under the title “Rehabilitation”. The main idea of this show is revival of the Bible historical events sounding in collage of electronics, noise and acoustic environment. About his own place in this life Anatoly says the following: “… I feel really free only within the framework of electroacoustic music”.

Search | Add | 5 | Syndrom Samazvanca | Syndrom Samazvanca (translated as "imposter syndrome") was founded by two Belarusian musicians with mutual love of psychedelic rock, krautrock, art-rock and punk. The band creates eclectic sonic canvases using fuzzy guitar riffs, unconventional rhythms and electronic noises, over which the lyrics tell stories of existence and survival in a modern post-Soviet city.

Search | Add | 5 | Otto Goritz | Otto Dietrich Robert Goritz | German opera singer (baritone) (born June 8, 1872 in Berlin, Germany – died April 13, 1929 in Hamburg, Germany) Goritz debuted in 1895 as Matteo in "Fra Diavolo" at the Court Theater in Neu Stelitz, Mecklenburg. Later, he sang in Breslau and Hamburg. Goritz then received a contract with the Metropolitan Opera in New York City, where he performed in 25 operas (mostly German, 1 Italian) between 1903 and 1917, including the leading Wagnerian baritone roles. His greatest success was as Beckmesser in Wagner's "Meistersinger." When the United States joined World War I, the opera stopped performing its German repertory. Goritz was forced to resign, not least because of a rumor that he had sung a parodic song on the sinking of the RMS "Lusitania" at a private party on New Year's Eve 1916. He remained, however, in the United States. In 1919, after the war had ended, Goritz founded the Star Opera Company. The company tried to perform at the Lexington Opera House in German, but a riot on opening night and protests by the American Legion forced it to disband. In 1920 Goritz returned to Hamburg, where he continued to sing at the State Opera House. |

Search | Add | 5 | Moose Malone | Queensland country music band led by veteran guitarist/pedal steel player Jimmy Brelsford, who had been active in bands since 1964, including a period with Bay City Union in 1968, the band began life as a trio "Moose Malone & The Mohairs" in 1975. They soon shortened their name and added players to become a full band, which became very popular in the north. Heavily influenced by the US West Coast scene, most notably Commander Cody, Moose Malone scored a deal with RCA records and recorded one album, and single in 1977. The album was not a huge seller, but it led to them being named Queensland's Best Country Band of the year as well as winning the Tamworth Cup. They then moved to Melbourne in 1978, issuing 2 further non-album singles "Two For The Show" in October of that year and a final one "What are You Doing at the Same Party" in 1979. However they kissed their record deal goodbye after they turned a record company reception for visiting fellow RCA recording artist, John Denver into a riot.

He discovered electronic music when he moved to Paris, especially at REX Club, and immediately had a strong interest in it. Then, he decided to start a project named [a2744492] with three other friends, sharing the same taste for dark minimal beats and atmospheres. A few releases later, including on [l1264839] and [l358411], he felt his taste evolving more and more to a raw/dub Techno sound so he started producing solo under a new alias, Howski, and finally decided to take his own way and focus on this new project.
