Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | Moose Malone | Queensland country music band led by veteran guitarist/pedal steel player Jimmy Brelsford, who had been active in bands since 1964, including a period with Bay City Union in 1968, the band began life as a trio "Moose Malone & The Mohairs" in 1975. They soon shortened their name and added players to become a full band, which became very popular in the north. Heavily influenced by the US West Coast scene, most notably Commander Cody, Moose Malone scored a deal with RCA records and recorded one album, and single in 1977. The album was not a huge seller, but it led to them being named Queensland's Best Country Band of the year as well as winning the Tamworth Cup. They then moved to Melbourne in 1978, issuing 2 further non-album singles "Two For The Show" in October of that year and a final one "What are You Doing at the Same Party" in 1979. However they kissed their record deal goodbye after they turned a record company reception for visiting fellow RCA recording artist, John Denver into a riot. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Charles Carnelison | May 24, 1947-August 22, 2021 Bluegrass preacher Charley Carnelison grew up in Hollister, Missouri, and was living in Springfield when he began his recording career. When he was eighteen, he joined Jack Keithley's band, the Ozark Country Boys, before forming a duo with Johnny Holt a few years later. Carnelison and Holt played on the radio locally in the Branson area, and recorded together over the course of several years. Carnelison's signature song is a gospel tune called "20-20 Vision," which bears a striking similarity to a secular heartsong recorded by Gene Autry way back in 1954 (and more famously in a bluegrass arrangement by Jimmy Martin) though he say he copyrighted his own version in 1967, first recording it in 1972. Mr. Carnelison cut several albums and published a collection of bluegrass gospel songs as well as a book of regional Ozark folklore. Eventually he quit performing due to hearing loss, but Carnelison and his band 20-20 Vision were still performing locally well into the 21st Century, with a presence on Facebook and podcasting as well. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Sven-Eric Mörtsjö | Sven Eric Mörtsjö (b. Sven Erik Mörtsjö) | Swedish singer, band leader, and guitarist, born on May 21, 1946 in Hudiksvalls församling, Hudiksvall, Hälsingland. Sven-Eric Mörtsjö experienced for the first time the feeling that this was something he wanted more of at the age of six. At that time, he had interrupted his play, stepped onto a mound of earth, and sung for a delighted audience who applauded and praised him. After his singing debut on a mound of earth, a few years followed during which Sven-Eric was shuttled across the country to various competitions and performances. At the age of 11, he performed at [l337454] in Stockholm, where he received praise and was even lifted into the arms of record company director and orchestra leader [a320176]. That same year, he won the Norrland Championships, competing against 23 other boys. At the age of 16, Sven-Eric joined a band that primarily played instrumental pieces. Several times a week, he would take his guitar and amplifier and catch the bus to the rehearsal room in the church's assembly hall in Njutånger. During this period, he also went out every weekend to dance, often at the legendary dance palace [url=https://www.facebook.com/groups/1720143954966139/]Högliden[/url] in Hudiksvall. Around this time, Sven-Eric also received an offer from the local [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/4208934-Anders-Erikssons?anv=Anders%20Erikssons%20Orkester&filter_anv=1]Anders Erikssons Orkester[/url] (Anders Eriksson Orchestra). Their singer was pregnant – would Sven-Eric step in for her? The band's first performance with Sven-Eric Mörtsjö as the vocalist took place in Delsbo. Quite soon thereafter, the band was performing several times a week. However, late nights with the orchestra were incompatible with Sven-Eric's early mornings as a construction worker, and the same applied to the other band members. Therefore, in 1966, they decided to become professional musicians full-time. The 1970s was the golden era of Swedish dance bands. At that time, there was dancing everywhere, just before discos emerged and transformed the music scene. There were eight dance halls in Hälsingland alone. Back then, Sven-Eric and the rest of the dance band could stay in one place for two weeks; there was dancing from Monday to Saturday and people attending every evening. In 1973, it was time for Sven-Eric to assume the role of bandleader for his own dance band, with a new lineup and under his own name. [a855852] was formed with musicians from the band [a7079540] from Härnösand. Six evenings a week, Sven-Eric and his musicians performed on one of Sweden's dance stages—a life he absolutely loved. However, as a solo singer, his vocal cords suffered. On Sunday mornings, he was so exhausted that he could not even speak. Therefore, it was a great relief when [a803688] joined the band, allowing him to take over half of the songs. Their voices also complemented each other well. [a803688] had more of a pop style, while Sven-Eric performed the more romantic songs. The year was 1976, a year when [a855852] became known to Swedish television audiences through a performance on the popular show [b]'Nygammalt'[/b] (New yet old). That same week, the band had a full-page feature in the Swedish newspaper [l574460] promoting their new album, [m1846285]. It was fortunate that these events coincided. The album sold a gold record – 72,000 copies. The band could hardly believe it. Their next LP, [m2177044], also went gold, and the two subsequent albums achieved silver status. Gold records, television appearances, and a packed tour schedule were complemented by [b]'Svensktoppen'[/b], the Swedish music singles chart, which at that time had an incredible impact in the country. Sven-Eric has had three songs on [b]'Svensktoppen'[/b], together with his band the two songs: The first track, [b]'Ta Min Hand'[/b] (Take My Hand), of the LP [m2907721] and the single [r12725308] (A Little Angel Passed By); and as a solo artist, he spent 11 weeks on the chart with the single [r7074438] (The Night Has Its Own Tale). Sven-Eric Mörtsjö, [a803688], and the band's booking manager [b]Bengt-Arne Pettersson[/b] purchased the dance hall [url=https://www.facebook.com/groups/1720143954966139/]Högliden[/url] in Hudiksvall in 1980. They owned it jointly until 1986, when Pettersson took over sole ownership. In the late 1980s, Sven-Eric's vocal cords began to act up again. His voice faltered and sounded harsh, and as a result, he did not sing for seven years. For someone who had always loved singing and whose life revolved around performing on stage, this was a dreadful period. Eventually, Sven-Eric underwent surgery when a diaphragmatic hernia was discovered, which was believed to be the cause. However, it proved ineffective, and he remained voiceless on stage—until that performance at a pub in Sandviken. He asked the others if he could at least try a single song. They were skeptical, but that evening he sang 13 songs! It was extraordinary, comparable to receiving a new car as a Christmas gift, he has recounted afterward. When his singing is present, Sven-Eric feels well; it is as simple as that. And although he stopped performing with [a855852] in 1999, he has continued to sing. Moreover, he has continued to perform on stage—first as a duo with [a7581855], and more recently with the [url=https://www.spfseniorerna.se/about-us-in-english/]SPF Seniorerna[/url] orchestra on Öland, where he now resides in 2025. |

Perhaps the most distinguished figure in the history of the cuatro instrument, and as well, one of the most distinguished Puerto Rican musician of all times, was Ladislao Martínez Otero, known as Maestro Ladí. He created a new way of listening to the cuatro. He came to compose, especially for the cuatro, around 1,500 musical pieces, among them danzas, mazurcas, valses, South American genres, even rock and bossa nova. By choosing the ten-string cuatro as his preferred instrument--playing it on the radio and thus being heard around the Island up until the end of the 1930s--he is thought to have precipitated the decline and eventual disappearance of the old four and eight-string variants across the Island. Ladí inspired generations of master cuatristas who followed him, who consider him the "trunk of the tree of cuatro musicians." The venerated Puerto Rican interpreter and composer was born in the Espinosa sector of, the child of simple country-folk. |

After re-reading the 2 volumes, Pascal proposed the texts to the other members of the GROUPE 13 NOVEMBRE, created for this opportunity: Backing Vocals, Drums – [a4245699] Guitar, Backing Vocals, Bass – [a5480532] Piano, Synthesizer, Backing Vocals – [a1078708] Vocals, Bass Guitar – [a4245701] The recording was laborious but at the same time a lot of good times. Certainly too early/ahead of its time, this work is realized in the form of a musical comedy or opera rock. The expected result, even after a few TV promo, will not be at the desired height: just one album with only one promo extract published |

| Search | Add | 5 | Delest | Delest | DELEST is a melodic punk rock band formed in 2016 in Castelló de La Plana (Spain) and our influences come from Californian punkrock. You know: Bad Religion, No Use For A Name, Lagwagon,... 5 albums and many concerts all over the Peninsula and an international tour in England endorse our musical career without counting the previous experience in different bands of each one of us. "PERSISTENCIA" is our new EP. Recorded, mastered and produced by Raúl Artana at Rockaway Studios in Castellón and mixed and arranged by Angus Cooke in Santa Barbara (California) who has worked with the best melodic punk rock bands: Lagwagon, Bad Astronaut, The Ataris,... It consists of 4 songs that brim with this melodic punk rock where the octaves, the background vocals and the vocal melody are the main protagonist. 20 Chords Records is our trusted independent label and we have been with them almost since we started. In "PERSISTENCIA" we narrate the incessant walk that has made our bones heavier and our hinges creak. Yet we have not stopped for a moment to row towards what we want to be. A punk rock band that brings out the energy from the skull, that shoots at will and leaves in each concert until the last drop of sweat piling up bruises in this sea of music. Here you have PERSISTENCE, our new EP. We hope you like it as much as we are doing. |

Giving support and experience, his father showed him different kinds of music and at the age of 13, Mc Ap began writing. His introduction to hip-hop was break dancing, graffitti, DJ'ing, and eventually MC'ing. His first album "Destructive Force," was an introduction of horrorcore rap to Mexico. It became a huge success. There weren't many horrorcore rappers in Mexico, but because of his interest in the sub-genre that differs from many, he stuck with it... adding his own twist, of course. Next, the album "Brutal Kingdom" was released with a pure horrorcore approach. |

| Search | Add | 5 | The Three Strangers | The Three Strangers was a South Philadelphia group that had been in a studio several times prior to this under a variety of names. Salome (pronounced Sah-loam) Bey (not to be confused with a female singer of the same name from the Bey Sisters), Ike Smith, Melvin Wright, Heywood Royster, and John “Buck” McLaughlin formed the Daytons, named after a popular style of shoe, when they were attending Barrett Junior High School. They debuted on the local Norgolde imprint (best known for the Revels’ “Midnight Stroll”) in 1959 with the doo-wop ballad “King Of Broken Hearts” and a rocking “Friday Better Come.” They pared it down to Salome, Melvin, and Ike when they cut “He’s A Bum” and “Hi Diddle Diddle” for producers John Madara and David White in the autumn of 1964 as the Three Jokers. The single was issued on Mercury before year’s end. The Three Strangers name came when the trio hooked up with producers Leroy Lovett and Frank Bendinelli to release a very Impressions-influenced ballad, “I’ll Be Alright,” and “Little Boy Blue” (both co-penned by Huff) in early ’66 on ABC-Paramount. Gamble and Huff wrote and produced a delightful throwback for the trio at Frantic, Arctic's subsidiary label. Bey moved to Chester, Pennsylvania in ’71, and in 1976 launched the Eastern Standard Band, which performed on the casino circuit for decades. Versatility remained his motto until his passing a few years ago. “In recent years, he was in a reggae-based group, and then after that he was doing Nat King Cole tribute show,” according to Philly guitarist Bobby Eli. | |
