Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 5 | Larry Brahms | A 27 year entertainment industry veteran, Larry Brahms began his career in the music industry having held various management positions for leading record and entertainment management firms including: TK Records (credited as one of the innovators of the disco movement, produced such acts as KC & The Sunshine Band, George McCrae and Foxy) and TDI Management (a worldwide management representation firm for such headliners as The Village People, The Richie Family, Celi Bee, Dorothy Moore among others). In 1984 Brahms decided to capitalize on the aerobic fitness craze and with the aid of two partners, he developed the fitness concept Freedance (the marketing story of the mid-eighties and one of the most successful fitness videos of the year on the Billboard charts). Also MTI was born and became and operating division of Brahm's new company And More Entertainment Corp. In '87 And More Entertainment entered the realm of record production, manufacturing and distribution with the new Miami sound explosion releasing various hits on AME records. Through AME's consulting divisions TDI, Brahms was instrumental in taking Atlantic Records artist Debbie Gibson to the position of top five on Billboard's pop charts. In the 90's Brahms and his wife and partner Claudia, made the transition from music into the ever-changing video industry, expanding into direct acquisition of independent theatrical and direct to video product. By establishing unique distribution relationships with other independent labels under its banner, Brahms has positioned MTI Home Video and its studio partners as one of the fastest growing and uniquely diverse home entertainment companies in the industry.

Died on September 1, 1960, in Honolulu, Hawaii, at the age of 51. He teamed up with his brother [a1046733] to entertain Waikiki in the 1950s. “Freckles” played the guitar, while “Splash” played the ukulele and steel guitar. Search | Add | 5 | Garsokatastrofa | Garsokatastrofa was started as a one-man noise project by Tomas (Thromb) in 2006. Same year a split cassette tape with Xtro was released. In January 2007 Tomas and his friend Ženka recorded 11 harsh noise tracks album called "Techno Is Dead". It became the second Garsokatastrofa album and gained some worldwide popularity after it was released on "Smell The Stench" net-label (although 2 tracks on the net-release were excluded from original 11 tracks album). Same year Daniil joined the forces and some material was recorded, but nothing was released except a short excerpt of "Orgasm Of Pain" that was released on the "Smell The Stench" net-compilation. Garsokatastrofa wasn't active until Autumn 2009. In September Tomas and Daniil recorded some new material and in October Tomas together with Ženka also recorded some new stuff and it became the third album called "Psychotherapy". After a few months in March 2010 Tomas and Daniil recorded and released fourth and last Garsokatastrofa album called "Deconstruction". Tomas decided to continue on his own as Thromb. No further recordings of Garsokatastrofa were made.

Search | Add | 5 | Caleb Macken | Irish music producer, audio engineer and DJ. A fan of music growing up, it wasn't until Caleb found hip-hop and DJing that he saw his path into becoming a musician. Immersing himself in the art form, he taught himself how to cut and scratch by listening to DJ Premier cut-up scratch hooks on Gangstarr albums. He soon graduated into production and forged a career as a hip-hop producer under the alias DJ M-1. Releasing numerous albums on labels such as Chopped Herring Records and Tuff Kong Records, his music received airplay from various radio shows, including none other than DJ Premier himself. In 2023, Caleb released his first track under his own name, 'Dub Cut 1', on the vinyl compilation 'MOVE' from Mines Clarence Records. The track, an electronic dub workout, explores Caleb's influences in the electronic music world. His music retains that early influence of analog 90's hip-hop production, giving texture and warmth to his music.

Search | Add | 5 | Richard Demko | Richard L Demko | RICHARD DEMKO is a classically trained pianist who started taking piano lessons at the age of 5. He went on to study drums, guitar, bass, and eventually, the art of production and engineering. Richard has played in various bands, and has toured all over the northeast with his primary project “Electric Mayhem. He has played as a session musician on countless songs and albums, most notably playing B3 tracks on two singles that feature Beach Boy Blondie Chaplin. (Release date TBA). He also plays and writes songs in a studio project called “Demkovic” which is comprised of Demko and his long time band mate, vocalist Suzanne Vick. Richard honed his Production and Engineering skills with Vic Steffens at Horizon Music Group in West Haven, CT, and has worked with numerous local, regional, and national bands in the studio. Some of the more notable projects include working with Blondie Chaplin, Kasim Sultan, Edwin Hawkins, Mickey Curry, Scott Spray, Bobby “T” Torello, and Christine Ohlman. Richard also had the opportunity to mix some of the nations biggest bands and artists when he engineered for the legendary Toads Place in New Haven, CT, moonlighting as a Front of House Engineer and Monitor Engineer. As a songwriter, Richard has an extensive catalogue of music ranging from classical to metal. He rarely sings on any of his own work, and usually employs session singers to lay vocals down on the music he writes that does contain lyrics. His catalogue contains a mix of instrumentals and songs that contain vocals, ranging in many different styles and moods. Some of his work is commercially available with the various studio projects that he has released. He does collaborate with lyricists from time to time, and has even collaborated with other musicians to write instrumental arrangements for artists who are looking for songs. He classifies himself to be more of a composer and writer more so than a “beat maker”, as his songs are always structured, and he always has a production vision for each and every song he writes. rick d award.jpg In 2019, Richard went on to form NeuroTronix Records, which is a full service, independent record label located in Seymour, CT. As the President and Senior A&R for the label, he actively scouts bands and artists to help promote, record and release music utilizing his knowledge and expertise that he has gained throughout his 20+ year career in the industry. With an amazing team of dedicated professionals who help him run the daily operations, NeuroTronix Records has become one of the fastest growing, and most reputable indie labels in Connecticut. |
